Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here the story picks up where the last chapter left, in which the situation would escalate in regards to Midoriya's suspension…

This is where things commence where a possible conflict would arise…

Well then, read on and enjoy!

Ch. 8: Hitori de

The scene shifts at UA Academy, where it shows that several students were taken aback at seeing an unusual sight, in which the entire Class 1-A head towards the principal's office to confront the vice principal to protest the unjust ejection of Midoriya from UA Academy and Heights Alliance, even though he is only SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY until FURTHER NOTICE, yet it is, for Class 1-A, an unfair and unjustifiable decision because he wasn't given a benefit of a doubt, and that he did not even ask Class 1-A for their testimony to prove that Midoriya never left UA Academy and Heights Alliance following the School Festival.

The UA students who were critical towards Class 1-A scoffed at the perceived protest, believing that the first years won't be able to sway the vice principal as they believed that he made the right call and that Midoriya is guilty of the said violation even though it hasn't been proven yet. They expect that Class 1-A would get embarrassed and be put in their place.

"Those Class 1-A..."

"A bunch of idiots…"

"Troublemakers…"

"Now they are protesting…"

"Useless…"

"Hope they get suspended…"

"Or expelled…"

"Yeah…"

At the teachers' lounge, the teachers arrived after teaching some subjects, and just now one of the students said that she saw Class 1-A are about to head for the principal's office to confront the vice principal about the supposed unjust ejection of Midoriya, saying that she accidentally overheard the conversation, yet she said she has no idea but suspect that it may have something to do with the viral video that the students receive.

Midnight, Present Mic, Snipe, and Thirteen blinked their eyes at hearing this, just as Vlad King arrived and after hearing this, he said that he received the said video. Although he admitted that it looked authentic, Vlad King said that he doesn't believe it and that Midoriya is innocent until proven guilty, hence the boy deserved an impartial investigation, stating that it could be a villain impersonating Midoriya.

As Midnight told Vlad King about what they heard, the Class 1-B homeroom teacher was quite taken aback, and seeing that Aizawa is not present at this time, he decided to talk to Class 1-A into calming down and see what he can do.

-x-

Minutes later, the whole Class 1-A is outside the principal's office, and as Iida tells his classmates that he will do the talking, Bakugo took matters into his hands and banged the door while calling out the vice principal for the unjust ejection of Midoriya from UA Academy and Heights Alliance, which prompted Kirishima and Kaminari to grapple their classmates and urged him to calm down.

"Bakugo!"

"Hey! Simmer down!"

"Let go of me!"

"We agreed that we let Iida do the talking!"

"He's right!"

"I say we tell that asshole that he is stupid for throwing Deku out on the streets unprotected!"

"Just let Iida handle this!"

"Yeah!"

"Grr…"

Yaoyorozu sighed as she, Jiro and Uraraka wondered why they let Bakugo tag along as his personality would land them in trouble, which they felt that his attitude might not help their case in the hopes of overturning the vice principal's decision.

"Bakugo…"

"Geez…"

"Oh boy…"

"Guess we shouldn't have…"

"He is a handful…"

"Indeed…"

"Let's hope for the best…"

"Yeah…"

"…"

By then the vice principal confronted Class 1-A and sternly told the class to go back to their classes or else they would be sanctioned for disobedience. Iida then told the vice principal that what he did is unjustifiable as it hasn't been proven that Midoriya is involved in the viral video, saying that Midoriya has never left Heights Alliance after the recent School Festival.

Moreover, Iida said that it is possible that an impostor is behind this, which Kirishima confirmed, stating that during the summer training camp, he, Ashido, Sero, Sato and Kaminari saw Vlad King and Aizawa fought a member of the League of Villains, only to be revealed that it was an impostor that melted away, hence it is likely that the Midoriya seen on the viral video is an impostor.

However the vice principal wasn't swayed and insisted that to protect the peace, integrity and reputation of UA Academy, as well as to prevent a whitewash of the investigation, Midoriya had to stay out of the academy, but Bakugo shouted, asking why throw Midoriya out and not give him the chance to get his belongings, and why throw him out of Heights Alliance, making it look like he is evicted for not being able to pay his rent.

"What…what did you…"

"You heard me!"

"…"

"Suspending Deku unjustly is one thing…but throwing him out of Heights Alliance... it's a damn dorm…not a school! Why evict him so suddenly?"

"How dare you…"

"Are you really that desperate?!"

"You brat!"

"Answer me, damn you!"

Todoroki surprisingly agreed, reminding the vice principal that Heights Alliance was made to protect the students from villain attacks, and told the vice principal that if what they heard about Midoriya's ejection from the dorms is true, then the vice principal had just fed an innocent student to wild dogs and other predators.

The rest of Class 1-A were taken aback by the bold statement, yet mentally they agreed with what Bakugo and Todoroki said, but the vice principal wasn't swayed and insisted that it is a judgment call on his part, and as the acting head of UA Academy, he had to ensure that no trouble would arise, and said that an investigation will be conducted.

The vice principal said that if Midoriya is proven innocent, then he will be reinstated, but until then Midoriya will be banned from UA Academy and Heights Alliance until further notice. This didn't sit well with Bakugo and called the vice principal, identified as Munō-sensei, an OLD FART with NO BALLS for caving in to the critics' whims, Munō-sensei was incensed, and did not take the insult well, and decreed that Bakugo be suspended for two weeks.

Bakugo did not take it kindly and asked why, saying that what he said is justifiable as Munō-sensei made a grave error on his part, which further spurred the vice principal to state the punishment.

"Damn you! Damn you!"

"…"

"You'll be suspended for two weeks and will not set foot on UA Academy during that period! You won't be given any make up tests and the likes!"

"What was that?"

"You heard me! You will stay away from UA Academy...be thankful I won't eject you from Heights Alliance!"

"…"

"Be grateful that I'm a bit considerate!"

"…"

By then, Vlad King showed up, having overheard the conversation and tells Munō-sensei that while Bakugo's verbal actions may be uncalled for, it is justifiable as the vice principal's actions are unreasonable, reiterating what Kirishima said, that an impostor is behind this as he believed that Midoriya could not pull off such a thing like a viral video.

He said that if Midoriya is such a fool, he would never do something to put himself at risk, and said that it would not make sense that Midoriya would upload a sex video of himself that would expose him and everything else. He then asked Munō-sensei to take back Midoriya's suspension and wait for the results of the investigation before he makes a final decision.

"As a teacher, I ask of you."

"…"

"Reinstate Izuku Midoriya."

"…"

"We should wait for the results to conclude before passing judgment."

"…"

"Please, sir."

"…"

However, Munō-sensei wasn't swayed and said that he had to make a choice, saying that if this scandal gets worse, it would not only put the students here at risk, but would also cause the students' parents to lose confidence and accuse UA Academy of harboring a delinquent, hence he had to make the decision, and it is final.

He then reiterated that Bakugo be suspended for two weeks and said that Bakugo should be grateful that he won't be ejected from Heights Alliance, but then he demanded to know how Class 1-A know of this as the interrogation between him and Midoriya is a confidential matter.

The Class 1-A students were hesitant to reply, as they feared that Hatsume might be penalized unjustly, and the pressure increases as Munō-sensei threatened to either suspend or expel the entire class if they do not answer his question.

Vlad King protested but the vice principal uses his position to hold the teacher back and demanded to Iida and Yaoyorozu who told them about this. Hatsume was there and decided to confront Munō-sensei to tell him that it was her, but Shinso stopped her and patted her shoulder, and he confronted the vice principal, telling him that he used his Brainwashing Quirk to make Midoriya reveal everything.

Class 1-A was surprised, as it was Hatsume who told them, yet Shinso took the blame in order to protect Hatsume and Class 1-A. Munō-sensei believed it and berated Shinso for his actions and penalized him with a suspension for a month and a half.

"How dare you!"

"…"

"Do you realize what you did? That is a serious breach of confidentiality!"

"…"

"What are you smiling for?"

"…"

"You damn brat!"

"…"

As this developed, both Midnight and Snipe saw it, and are dismayed that the vice principal is such a jerk that he would choose shortcuts rather than the proper methods in order to ensure an unbiased investigation, and now he is going overboard by threatening a student for revealing the interrogation of Midoriya that Munō-sensei meant to be private and that it shouldn't be exposed.

Shinso just nodded before he glanced at Hatsume and Class 1-A, smiling before taking his leave as he took the punishment, and both Bakugo and Todoroki were taken aback by the fact that Shinso took the fall that was meant for Hatsume. Even Iida and Yaoyorozu could not believe that Shinso would go out of his way to protect Hatsume, and yet he did so without a second thought, and they felt helpless as they witnessed another student getting punished for something he did not actually committed.

Munō-sensei then ordered Class 1-A to return to their classroom or they too would be punished, then he summoned the guards to escort Bakugo out of UA Academy as he is effectively suspended, yet Iida attempted try bargaining with Munō-sensei to no avail as the vice principal is starting to lose patience, and ordered that Iida be taken to detention and will stay there until dismissal time.

Vlad King did not like this and tried to dissuade the vice principal from doing so but Munō-sensei did not budge and justified that as the authority figure, UA Academy school officials must set an example and show the students that insubordination has no place here and thus the students must learn that they have to follow the rules unquestionably.

"And that is that."

"But, Munō-sensei…"

"No buts! This is for the sake of maintaining the peace and security of UA Academy!"

"But not like this…!"

"Sometimes we have to resort to extreme measures to quash any attempts on rebellion or insubordination…"

"But your handling is too harsh!"

"I am in charge and I make the decision. Know your place!"

"…"

Soon the guards arrived and escorted Iida to the Detention room while Bakugo is being escorted out of UA Academy as the vice principal went back to the principal's office to attend matters while Vlad King escorted Class 1-A back to their classroom while promising that he will inform Aizawa about the situation as well as to inform Nezu of what happened to Midoriya.

Hatsume went back to Power Loader's shop, and there the UA teacher closed the door and talked to her in private. He revealed that he saw what just occurred and asked her if she did something, and after she admitted, Power Loader said that she did the right thing, as he did not approve of what Munō-sensei did to Midoriya, and then to Shinso, Bakugo and Iida.

He advised Hatsume to keep quiet for now as he would find a way to inform Nezu about the situation so that he would overturn the decision that Munō-sensei made.

"And that's that."

"…"

"For now we keep this between us. Don't tell anyone else."

"Yes."

"We have to be careful after four students were unjustly punished without justifiable basis. We need to work stealthily if we are to expose the real culprit."

"Yeah."

"Can I count on your cooperation?"

"You got it."

-x-

Several hours later, the time now is 17:00, and Midoriya is seen walking as he was ejected from Heights Alliance by the UA Academy guards as they were instructed not to let Midoriya in regardless of his business, hence he wasn't even allowed to get his belongings, as the rest of his money were at his dorm room. With no choice he had to head home to his mom's apartment by foot.

As Midoriya passed by a park, he encountered something he did not expect, as he saw Camie Utsushimi sitting on a bench, her school uniform partially ripped, to the point where her bra and cleavage are partially exposed, and there Midoriya became more concerned, as he saw her face, in which the lower area, which is the left side below her mouth, was swelling, and traces of blood is partially visible.

Midoriya had a feeling that she may have experience a similar situation, but never thought it would be THAT PHYSICAL, and there Camie saw Midoriya yet she appeared to be emotionally distraught to give a reaction. As Midoriya sat beside her, he asked what happened and why is her Shiketsu High uniform is in such a disarrayed manner.

Camie was silent for 30 seconds before she reluctantly told him something, which made him feel utterly shocked. The viral video spread throughout Shiketsu High and the students accused her of participating in it and as the vice principal of Shiketsu, identified as Fukinshin-sensei, summoned her to the principal's office over the viral video, and as Camie honestly told the principal that she is not involved, and said that it is possible that the one who impersonated her at the Provisional License Exam may be the culprit, Fukinshin-sensei said that Camie's actions matched her personality, and said that the board of directors unanimously voted to have her expelled.

Camie went on to say that even the teacher, Yoarashi and even Nagamasa Mora protested saying that it is possible that the impostor did this, yet Fukinshin-sensei stood to his decision and ordered Camie's immediate expulsion.

Midoriya listened on as Camie also revealed that when she arrived home, her parents were furious as they showed the viral video, and received a call about her expulsion, and her parents branded her a lost cause and an embarrassment to the Utsushimi family, and as Camie tried to explain herself, her father slapped her hard and throttled her around before throwing her out, and told her that none of the Utsushimi family members are willing to take in a shameful relative like her.

Devastated, Camie slowly left and seek out her relatives for a chance to stay over as she is now homeless, as she wasn't allowed to get her belongings.

True to Mr. Utsushimi's words, none of Camie's relatives are willing to take her in and even gave her the cold shoulders, and this led her to being here, as she has no relatives to take her in, and no money. As she hasn't received the provisional hero license, she cannot find work in the hero industry.

Midoriya was emotionally affected as he felt that Camie was dragged in to this mess and suffered a similar situation, though the only difference is that she was expelled and disowned by her own family while evicted from her home.

There he gently held her hand and tells her that he also suffered a similar situation, and now he is heading to his home and invited her to come with him so that he can treat her wounds and have a place to stay for the time being.

Camie was unsure as she felt it was her fault but he assured to her that she is not at fault here at all.

"It's alright."

"But…"

"You're not at fault here. That's the fact."

"But…I'm the reason why…"

"It is okay. We'll talk once we arrive at my place and patch up your wounds."

"…"

"Don't worry, Utsushimi-san."

"…"
