The door to Argo's science academy's observation station slides open and Zor-El walks in. Entering the room he sees Tor-Ze and Ahsha working at the raised circular central control platform. Tor-Ze is intently focused on a hologram that is split between images from the Legion ship's live visual display and Kara's live heads up display in the Kryptonite Protection Suit. Behind him, Ahsha is monitoring the team's vitals and their progress with clearing the cosmic debris from the upper surface area of the asteroid.

As Zor-El makes his way over to the command platform's steps, Tor-Ze catches a glimpse of him out of the corner of his eye. "Zor-El!"

"Tor-Ze," Zor-El responds in kind, making his way up into the control console area between the his old friend and Ahsha. "Had not heard anything from you since Kara, Lena, and Querl left this morning, so I thought I would stop in and see how the mission is progressing."

Tor-Ze turns away from the holographic display and takes a step toward his niece. "Ahsha, what is the current status of the debris field and how is Zor-El's family?" he inquires.

Ahsha turns around to look at the two men. "Kara and her team are doing a superb job. Their vitals are all good and the debris field is 96% cleared. They have a couple of modestly sized sub-asteriod fragments left to break down, but once they have dealt with those the mission will be completed."

"Any complications?" Zor-El asks curiously.

"None to this point," Tor-Ze responds. "The equipment your future Inahmin designed to deal with the debris has worked flawlessly and Kara's physical display out there has been nothing short of astounding."

Zor-El smiles proudly. "Lena's technical skills are unparalleled on any world and my Kara… well, let's just say that having had the chance to experience the effects of a yellow sun on my own physiology first hand I can confidently say what you're seeing today barely scratches the surface of what she is capable of. There is a reason the people of Earth refer to her as 'Supergirl'."

"Legion ship to Argo, do you read?" a familar male voice rings out over the station's communications system.

Ahsha replies, "Legion ship this is Argo, we hear you Querl."

"Just checking in," Brainy remarks. "We read just two more sub-asteriods to clear out of here. Please confirm."

"Confirmed, Querl," Ahsha replies. "Once your team has cleared them phase 1 will be complete."

"Understood," Brainy remarks. "Legion ship out." He turns in the pilot's chair and looks back at Lena in the command chair. "Just two more left, Lena. Which one are we taking?"

"Head 2-7-6, Brainy," Lena responds. "We'll take the one off the starboard side." She reaches out and taps a key on the holographic control display. "Kara?"

Outside in the Kryptonite Protection Suit, flying along side the port side hull of the ship, Kara replies, ":Zrhueiao, how we are doing?"

A captivating smiles fills Lena's face as she replies, "Just two more to go, :zhao i. You should be able to see one of them ahead of the ship and off to your left. Brainy and I will take the one off the other side of the ship."

"Copy that," Kara smiles and confirms. "Let's finish this so we can get back to Argo." Kara increases speed and zips away toward her assigned target as Brainy veers the ship in the opposite direction toward the other target.

When she arrives at her target Kara flies parallel over the top of the space rock and scans it with her x-ray vision to try and get an idea of how dense the interior is. Scanning a large swath of the asteriod she comes across something potentially troubling that catches her attention. "Kara to Legion ship… Hey, Brainy?"

"Kara," Brainy responds, "is there a problem?"

"Might be," Kara replies with an air of uncertainty. "Can the ship's sensors get a proper reading of this rock from where you're at?"

After a longer moment of silence than she anticipated Brainy acknowledges, "Yes."

"Great!" Kara reacts. "Can you run a full scan of the composition of this thing? I've got a bad feeling."

"Can do," Brainy declares. "Give me just a minute to calibrate the sensors." After a few more extended moments of radio silence floating in a parallel path above the sub-asteroid, the near silence in Kara's helmet is replaced with Brainy's report. "Kara, looks like we're going to need a Plan B for that one. Scans indicate there is a 99% probability that that one is a piece of Krypton. It's teeming with Kryptonite radiation."

"Damn!" Kara reacts. "I'm heading back to the ship so we can figure out what to do."

"Understood," Brainy states.

A few moments later Kara arrives back at the Legion ship. A door on the outer hull slides open as she approaches letting her into the ship's airlock. As the outer door slides shut artificial atmosphere fills the airlock, pressure normalizes, and the inner airlock door releases. She taps the crest on her chest to disengage the Kryptonite Protection Suit, revealing her super suit below it, as she steps out of the airlock and makes her way through the ship's corridors to the central command hub.

As she enters the central hub, Lena, dressed in a deep burgundy Kryptonian protective suit, similar to what Alura wore during the battle with Reign, and adorned with the El family crest, deactivates the command chair's holographic controls, gets up, and walks over to embrace her. Releasing their embrace they both turn to walk towards Brainy as Lena comments, "We just finished breaking down our rock… did I hear Brainy say something about Kryptonite?"

Brainy swivles in his seat and replies, "Yes, the last sub-asteriod appears to be a smaller chunk of Krypton that got caught in the limited gravitational pull of our primary asteriod. The radiation readings are unmistakable." He gets up and steps out of the way so Lena can examine the readings herself.

"Damn it!" she mutters. "You're right. No doubt about it."

"Could it be Harun-El?" Brainy inquires.

"Unfortunately, no," Lena replies dejectedly. "I wish it was. That would have made our lives so much easier, but no… that radiation signature leads me to believe it's either Green or Silver."

"We cannot risk spliting that thing open and releasing any of the radioactive chuncks. If any of it gets on the upper surface of the primary asteriod we would have to abandon it as the transplant site and start the search again," Kara notes.

Lena nods in agreement, takes her fiancée's hand, and gives it a comforting squeeze. "You're right, darling. So… we know we cannot break this one down. What are our options?"

"We could try to shift it below the primary asteriod," Brainy suggests. "Keep it in its gravitational pull, but move it to the lower debris field."

"It's plausible," Lena remarks.

Kara shakes her head, "I don't know. Even if we manage that and keep it on stable trajectory it could eventually be impacted by another object that cracks it open and potentially releases the Kryptonite. The impact of that event could shift the radioactive debris back toward the surface someday and if there were ever a breach of the protective dome it could leach in and potentially be catastrophic to Kandor's population."

Brainy comments, "It's difficult to calculate the probabilites tied to all the events that could lead toward that result, but I see your point. It's not a risk worth taking regardless of the odds." Kara smiles sweetly at him and nods appreciatively.

Squeezing Kara's hand again, Lena raises an eyebrow, and gets the twinkle of an idea in her eyes. Kara looks at her with a bright smile and says, "I know that look! Spill!"

"Brainy, scan for any nearby large uninhabited moons or planetoids," Lena suggests eagerly.

Brainy gets an equally inspired look on his face. He sits back down, turns back around in his seat, and starts a scan of the surrounding star systems. "I think I've got something. Looks like there is a Titan-sized, uninhabited moon orbitting the fourth planet of the system we're currently passing through. It's rougly a quarter of a light-year away from our present position."

"Asteroids this size frequently impact the surface of uninhabited moons like that," Lena adds. "Could we use the ship's tractor beam to tow it to that moon?"

Brainy replies, "We'll need to re-route power from the plasma cannon array to boost the beam's strength to last long enoungh to get us there. Kara will need to shift the rock out of the primary asteriod's gravity so we can grab it and once we get it there she'll need to push it into the moon's gravity to force it down to the surface."

"I can do that!" Kara exclaims. "Lena, you and Brainy re-route the necessary power to the tractor beam. I'll get back out there and move that rock into position."

Kara turns and starts to head back down the corridor leading to the airlock with Lena following close behind her. As they reach the airlock Kara reaches up to her chest to re-engage the Kryptonite Protection Suit, but Lena softly takes her hand before she can touch the crest and places it over her own heart. "I know you listen to this often to focus and calm yourself, but here… feel it, too. Those heartbeats… they are the rythm of my love for you, Kara." She leans in and kisses her gently on the lips as their bodies press against their hands. As their lips part she leans her forehead gently on Kara's and whispers, "Nahn voi, zhor i."

"Nahn rrip khuhtov zehdh, zhor i," Kara professes sweetly. As they release each other Kara taps the crest to re-engage her secondary protective suit, winks with a broad grin at Lena, and enters the airlock. The ship's interior airlock door slides into place and Lena watches through the view port as the airlock depressurizes, the outer hull door slides open, and her love launches herself back out into the cold vaccum of space. As Kara's form speeds out of her view she turns and makes her way back toward the command hub to assist Brainy.

Upon re-entering the command hub Lena finds Brainy sitting in the central command chair diligently working on adjusting the power settings of the plasma array. As he picks her up in his peripheral vision he remarks, "Argo's been updated on our situation and I've just about got the power settings realigned on the plasma generator. When I give you the signal I need you to access the power regulator on the tracker beam controls and adjust the setting to 140." Lena nods in understanding and heads across the hub to a secondary work station. She sits down, taps the interface to activate it, and stands by. A moment later Brainy turns to look her direction and says, "Plasma generator realignment complete… make the adjustment."

Lena presses the control switch to access the power regulator controls and slides her fingers up the power surge indicator increasing the setting to 140. The power meter on the tractor beam display begins to increase as Brainy walks up behind her. He places a hand on her shoulder as she comments, "Tractor beam power boost complete."

"Excellent!" he exclaims squeezing her shoulder. "The tractor beam should now have enough power to sustain towing that sub-asteriod to its new destination. I'll move the ship into position." Brainy takes his hand off her shoulder and heads back to the navigation console.

Lena looks back down at her station and taps another control button on the console. "Kara, the tractor beam is ready and Brainy's preparing to reposition the ship. How are you doing out there?"

Back out in space about 1,500 yards off the port side of the ship Kara slows as she approaches the rock and replies, "I'm in position and ready to start moving this thing away from the asteriod. Let me know when you're ready."

"Copy that," Lena responds. She gets up and makes her way over to the co-pilots chair next to Brainy. She sits down, looks at him, and remarks, "She's in position. Let me know when you're ready for her to start shifting it our way." He reaches out, taps a few of the controls on the navigation console, and the ship begins to maneuver closer to Kara and the Kryptonite laced space rock. After a few moments Brainy turns to Lena and gives her an affirmative nod. Lena taps the communication control on her side of the console and says, "Kara, we're in position. Bring it in about 150 yards behind the ship and well activate the tractor beam."

"You got it, :zrhueiao," Kara declares as she carefully approaches the object and begins to power it away from the primary asteriod, out of its limited gravitational influence. As the sub-asteriod gets further away from its previous position she notices a precipitous drop in the amount of force needed to direct it and senses for a moment that it might be getting away from her. She readjusts her positioning along side of the rock to get a better angle. As she makes the last shift in direction necessary to guide it toward the rear of the Legion ship she announces, "I'm just about there. You two ready to catch this thing?"

Brainy looks up at the read out in front of him and replies, "We've got you lined up on the rear sensor array, Kara. Just give that thing one more slight nudge three degrees to your right and we should be good." Kara uses the read out on her heads up display to line up her last push, gives the rock the nudge Brainy requested, and a few moments later a pulsating energy beam emanates from a projection port on the rear of the ship, capturing and anchoring the object in a protective field a safe distance away from the craft. "Tractor beam is locked on and power levels are holding steady. We've got it! Great work, Kara!" Brainy announces.

"Nice work on your end, as well, you two," Kara commends them. "How long do estimate it will take us to tow this thing to that moon?"

"To maintain tractor beam field integrity we will not be able to go more than 3/4 impluse power," Brainy notes. "At that rate of speed it should take about 40 minutes."

"You coming back on board?" Lena inquires.

Kars responds, "No, I want to monitor the rock from out here, just in case."

With a slight tone of worry in her voice, Lena repeats what she said to Kara at the airlock, "Nahn voi, zhor i."

"I will," Kara replies affectionately. "Vrreiahv khap."

Sitting alongside Brainy in silence at the navigation console, Lena stares intently at a data node on the sensor array that she's configured to monitor Kara's vitals and the condition of the Kryptonite Protection Suit. Even though their journey to the nearby moon is more than halfway completed the minutes she sits in silent concern focused on the wellbeing of the woman she loves begin to feel like hours. Despite being well aware that her amazing fiancée is more than capable of taking care of herself, even under remarkable circumstances such as they find themselves currently in, it doesn't lessen her deep rooted drive to protect her from any and all danger.

As the look of concern on her face continues to deepen Brainy breaks the silence between them with a warm, casual observation. "I've noticed that you and Kara have started to more regularly mix in Kryptonese phrases when conversing, Ie."

Lena nods and smiles affectionately. "Yes, we have. I didn't know you spoke Kryptonese, Aoe!"

Brainy grins proudly and replies, "Quite fluently. I actually I speak a multitude of languages, and I must say I'm very impressed by how well you've picked it up. When did you decide to start learning it?"

Lena turns her chair to look at him and replies somewhat ruefully, "When Lex outted her to me as Supergirl." Brainy looks at her with a confused expression as she continues, "I know it sounds weird. When my anger with her was first starting to build up… I convinced myself she had lied to me all those years because she secretly believed that I was actually as bad as Lex."

"You know that nothing could be further from the truth," Brainy interjects reassuringly.

Lena sighs and nods. "I do, but at the time I was so hurt and angry. I felt betrayed, not just by Kara, but by all of you. I know now that might sound absurd."

Brainy shakes his head slowly with a compassionate look in his eyes. "No, not all. In hindsight I know that we all regret not sharing the truth with you sooner. After all the pain of betrayal you've suffered throughout your life your feelings were understandable and justified."

She smiles tenderly at his acknowledgment and continues, "Over the years I had so thoroughly convinced myself that the world would never see me as anything more than a Luthor, that when I thought I had been played for a fool by the very people I had grown to believe saw me for more than that… it reminded me of something Lex once told me about his learning to read and speak Kryptonese so that he could taunt Clark in his native language when he finally found a way to conquer him. In my anger, I decided that I wanted to learn it so that when I finally confronted Kara with her lies I could her make her feel my pain and her shame in the language of the world she lost."

"Lena…that's…", Brainy mutters in a shocked tone.

Tears begin to well up in Lena's eyes. "I know… my anger and pain transfomed me into the worst version of myself… but… despite studying religiously to learn exactly what I wanted to say to her… in that moment… I couldn't bring myself to do it. Standing in the Fortress… staring at her… the shame in her eyes and the heartbreak on her face… even as angry and betrayed as I felt… something deep down inside me stopped me. In that moment I believed it was my conscience preventing me from becoming more like Lex, but now… after everything that has happened… I believe it was the light in my soul, that piece of me that even then knew I was already deeply in love with her, that stopped me." She pauses for a moment to wipe the tears from her cheeks. "After that day… that moment.. you'd think I would have given it up, but I kept learning it. In a strange way I think, over time, it tempered my anger with her and helped me rediscover that piece of myself that cared so deeply for her."

"Does she know all this?" Brainy asks.

Nodding, Lena explains, "After we reconciled we swore to each other there would be no more secrets. The first evening we were alone together after we got her back from the Phantom Zone I told her, in Kryptonese, pretty much what I just told you. Despite how horrible the experience of our confrontation was, she was thankful that deep down I cared for her so much that I couldn't go through with it. She was also filled with joy that I had learned to speak her language." She pauses to take a breath and smiles warmly as she recalls, "That night was actually the first time she said to me, in Kryptonese, what she says to me now anytime we are forced to face difficult or dangerous situations alone… nahn rrip khuhtov zehdh."

"You are my home," Brainy translates thoughtfully.

"It's a reminder," Lena's eyes sparkle as she notes lovingly, "that no matter the risk she faces or the danger that she's forced to confront without me… our hearts will always find their way back to one another."

In an instant the unbridaled tenderness of Lena's confession to Brainy is shattered by the blaring of an alert warning from the navigational system. Brainy turns back to read the navigation display, opens a communication channel to Kara, and announces, "We're roughly 1,500 kilometers from the moon. Slowing us to 1/4 impulse for final approach. Kara, how are we looking out there?"

Kara replies, "Looking good. The tractor beam…". Just as she's about to indicate that the object is still secure and on course the intensity of the beam begins to fade and the integrity of the protective field starts to destablize. "Brainy… Lena… we have a problem!"

Back on the bridge of the Legion ship an alarm tone is blaring as Brainy makes a beeline for the primary tractor beam controls and Lena remarks, "Kara, the power Brainy re-routed from the plasma cannon array to the tractor beam appears to be completely depleted. We're trying to boost power to the beam from a couple of other non-essential systems, but it might not be enough to stablize the protective field!"

"How close are we now!?" Kara asks anxiously.

Lena shifts over to the pilots chair and looks up at the navigational display. "We're about 750 kilometers away!"

Kara increases speed, pulling out in front of the Legion ship so she can get a better look at the distance left to traverse. "Brainy!?" Kara calls out.

"Yes, Kara!" he anxiously replies.

"What are the odds I can get that rock the rest of the way to the moon under my own power!?" she questions.

"If we can bring the ship to full stop before the field completely collapses and get it into a stationary position before releasing it, I calculate a 73% chance you could successfully guide it the rest of the way without incident," he responds confidently.

"I'll take those odds!" Kara declares. "Brainy, get the ship stopped and I'll prepare to take it the rest of the way."

"On it!" Brainy remarks.

"Kara?!?" Lena exclaims trepidatiously.

"I know," she responds compassionately as she lines herself up behind the object while the ship slowly comes to a stop. "I promise… I will be careful, :zhao i."

Holding back her fear, Lena gathers enough resolve to tell her lovingly, "You know, no matter how powerful you may be… I will never stop worrying and I will never stop trying to protect you."

"You know I feel the same way about you," Kara reciprocates passionately.

With all the love in her heart, Lena replies, "I do."

"Okay," Brainy interjects. "We've reached full stop and the beam seems to be holding. You ready out there?"

"Ready!" Kara responds.

"Deactivating tractor beam… now!" Brainy announces.

The beam of energy emanating from the projection port on the rear of the ship disappears and the protective field around the sub-asteriod collapses. As the rock begins to float freely Kara slowly approaches it. "Brainy, I've got the rock. Maneuver the ship away so I can get this thing moving."

"You got it!" Brainy acknowledges.

As Kara gets positioned to begin guiding the rock, the ship veers away to clear a direct path. She gently begins to exert force on the object and after a few moments gains sufficient momentum, passing the Legion ship. Brainy adjusts course to follow at a moderate distance behind her as Kara skillfully guides the sub-asteriod to its final destination.

"400 kilometers to go," Brainy indicates. "Maintain your present course."

"Kara, darling, how are you doing?" Lena asks.

"So far so good," she replies.

"When you get about 150 or so kilometers from the moon," Lena comments, "you'll want to try and slow the momentum of that thing so you can try to control your entry into the moon's atmosphere. Our readings indicate its gravity is roughly 17% of what Earth's gravity is. That should make it easier to force it to the surface, but it does have a fairly dense atmosphere which will likely produce some friction upon entry. If you hit the atmosphere at the wrong angle it could cause you and that rock to ricochet or encounter severe backlash."

"Understood," Kara acknowledges. Checking her heads up display she notices that's she roughly 200 kilometers away, so she releases the rock for a moment, allowing it to continue forward under its own momentum, and swings around the opposite side to begin slowing it down. As the distance indicator on her display ticks down to 135 kilometers she brings the rock to a relatively static position.

"Kara," Brainy chimes in. "I've done a quick atmospheric scan and am transmitting to the KPS' heads up display a model of the best path to take while guiding the sub-asteroid through the atmosphere. Just shift your field of vision until the virtual path turns green. When you see that you'll be lined up and ready to go."

The visual display in front of Kara's eyes transforms into the model Brainy crafted. She begins to shift her head and eyes around working to line up with the desired path and after a few moments she finally triggers the model to turn green. "Got it!" she states confidently as she begins guiding the rock towards the moon and its final resting place.

Back onboard the ship Brainy and Lena monitor her progress against the path Brainy provided her. "You're doing great, darling!" Lena remarks encouragingly. "You're about 90 seconds from breaching the upper atmosphere."

Kara takes a deep breath as she hears Lena say, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…". As the rock starts to penetrate the upper atmosphere she hears a loud crack and sparks begin to shoot back from around the rock. She immediately feels the opposing force of friction and increases her speed to compensate. As the rock begins to heat up more against the dense gases they are pushing through a wall of flame ignites on the side opposite Kara. Growling from the intense physical exertion, she continues pushing with all her might as another loud crack snaps around her.

"Kara!" Lena exclaims. "Hang in there. I'm going to count you down again. When I hit '1' heave that thing away from you as hard as you can. Ready?"

"READY!!" Kara shouts.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… HEAVE IT!" Lena shouts.

Kara puts every remaining ounce of strength she has behind propelling the rock away from her and into the moon's lower atmosphere. As it punches through the lower wall of gases an unexpected burst of energy rebounds toward her, knocking out power to her suit and violently whipping her back through the upper atmosphere and away from moon.

Panicked by the readings generated by the energy wave and her inabilty to get any vital sign readings from the Kryptonite Protection Suit, Lena jumps up from her seat, and rushes to the airlock with Brainy following behind her.

"Lena!" Brainy shouts. "What are you doing?"

Lena looks at him with a frightened, but determined look in her eyes and says, "I don't have time to argue. The KPS is offline, her life support could be failing, and she might be knocked out." She taps a button on a bracelet she's wearing and an upgraded Lexosuit materializes around her. "I'm going to rescue the woman I love." She turns, steps into the airlock, taps the control panel on the wall, and Brainy watches as the compartment decompresses, the outer door opens, and the Lexosuit booster rockets lanuch Lena out into space.

A few hours later, Kara's eyes begin to flutter open. A bright light is shining down on her. She lifts a hand to shield her eyes and realizes she's lying under a yellow sun lamp on a bed in the Legion ship's medbay. As her senses begin to awaken she recognizes the unmistakable soft, warm feeling of Lena's hand grasping hers, fingers intertwined. She turns her head to see her fiancée sitting next to her napping in a chair. "Lena…", she says quietly.

Lena's eyes twitch as she hears Kara's voice and then snap open when she feels Kara squeeze her hand. ":Zhao, i," Lena says as she stands and strokes Kara's cheek. "Thank, Rao… you're going to be alright."

Uncertain of what occurred, Kara asks, "What happened?"

"Honestly," Lena replies, "we aren't completely sure. When you pushed the rock into the lower atmosphere some kind of shockwave ricocheted back. It knocked out power to the suit and sent you hurtling uncontrollably out into space. Thankfully the physical KPS face shield engaged as designed, but you lost consciousness."

With a look of shocked confusion on her face, Kara inquires, "How did you get me back here?"

Brainy steps into the medbay and interjects, "Lena went out there and rescued you in a redesigned Lexosuit."

Kara kisses Lena's hand and looks up at her with a rueful, yet appreciative look in her eyes. "I'm so sorry you had to do that. I never wanted you to have to use one of those again, but thank you. You saved me… like you always do when I'm in trouble."

Lena leans down, presses her lips gently to Kara's, and gives her a long, sensual kiss. As they separate from the kiss Lena looks at her passionately, strokes her hair gently, and says, "Nahn rrip khuhtov zehdh, zhor i."
