It was cloudy day in Rio de Janeiro, which was farley common. The foggy clouds laied over the city, stopping any harsh light from coming through. Luckily, there wasn't a chance for rain.

Blu and Jewel were already wide awake by the whistling of wind. A major flaw of their bird house was how it submitted to almost all weather. The two laid in their "room" while contemplating if they actually wanted to get up.

"This doesn't beat living in a hollow." Jewel said with annoyance. She pried at blu again and again to move out and away from linda and Tulio.

"I know Jewel...I'm..Just not ready to leave linda." Blu's words sounded painful to his lover. Jewel came to the terms that she would probably never understand why some birds flocked to humans. But, it didn't matter, because Blu was with her and rarely with humans.

"Don't worry, we'll figure it out." Jewel slide on top of blu and buried her beak into his neck.

"AHHH JEWEL! IT TICKLES!! " Blu screamed. He started to get up from their leaf bed with Jewel clinging on to him. Blu was barley able to make it to their entrance before tripping over it. The two fell onto their patio, uncontrollably laughing.

The cloudy sky caused Blu and jewels feathers to seem smooth and matte. The lovers gazed into each others eyes with pure ecstasy. They closed their eyes and nozzled their beaks into each others necks. They laied their, undisturbed as the world continued to turn.

"Blu! Blu!!" A cracking voice called out.

"PEDRO! Look at them, leave them alone." Blu figured it was Nico and Pedro.

"It's past 9 man, they should done with whatever their doing." Pedro huffed out. He wasn't know for his long distance flying. Jewel started to get annoyed so she slide more of her body onto Blu and covered his face with her wing.

"Done with what?" Jewel irritatingly spit as she calm stroked Blu's head. He wasn't able to say anything since her beak was in Jewel's wings.

"Is this a bad time?" Pedro asked.

"Oh no, we are just sun bathing." Jewel let go of blu as she laid her beak on her wing and scolded at Pedro.

"Alright cool cool." Pedro let out a scream as Nico punched him in the gut.

"AYE MAN, WHY DID YOU DO THAT? Oh." Pedro finally realized what Nico was hinting at.

"No guys it's fine we aren't busy." Blu softly said. He lifted Jewels wing and body off of him and stood up. Jewel did that same as she glared at Blu.

"Well, we came to tell you our club got smashed last night. So we aren't having a party tonight." Nico said while taking his bottle cap off.

"Wait, you were having a party tonight?" Jewel asked. Nico and Pedro became wide eyed and they stared at Jewel.

"Umm, yeah there was." Blu began saying

"Wow would you look at that, it's ummm, time for our...SUN BATH, uhh right Nico?" Pedro nervously spoke. Nico vigorously shook his head. The two birds took off and flew away before either blue birds could stop them. Blu turned to face Jewel, who was visually upset.

"Were you going to tell me?" Jewel tapped her talon against the wood landing.

" of course, I would have. I mean *sigh* I was going to eventually but I had something else in mind." Blu put his wing tips together, waiting for her reaction.

"What's better than going to a samba club?" Jewel's tone started to calm down. Blu wanted to say he had found Mother Nature, that wouldn't be the best idea though .

"Well, remember that umm garden. I went to yesterday? I thought maybe Umm would take you there?" Blu scratched the side of his beak with his talon. Jewel let out a pleasant smile.

"Oh that would be fun! Let's go right now!" Jewel said as she started jumping off the patio, but was caught by Blu pulling her wing.

"Later. Like tonight?" Blu said. Jewel's mood flipped like a switch. This caused Blu to feel a little uneasy again. He couldn't tell if she was now mad, irritated, or just not caring. Jewel didn't know her own emotions in that moment either.

"Yep! That'll be fine. Why don't you help Nico and Pedro clean up? You know they won't be able to do it alone." Jewel said as she wrapped her wings around Blu.

"Are you alright?" Blu uncomfortably asked. Jewel nodded her head. Blu wasn't convinced though.

"Why don't you take a spa day? Go out with Eva again." Blu enthusiastically said. Jewel really didn't want to be around Eva after what she said. It left a bad taste in her mouth. Although, a spa day would be fun.

"Hmm, maybe your right. Don't be late tonight." Jewel smiled as she pulled Blu into a kiss. Blu sighed with ecstasy. He watched his gorgeous bird fly off into the trees.

"Nice one." Nico landed on the patio followed by Pedro.

"What? She seems Annoyed. Maybe this will take her mind off." Blu shrugged his wings. Both Nico and Pedro's beaks dropped.

"Blu. Ehhh how would you say this Nico?" Pedro waved his wings as if he was juggling his words.

"YOU NEED TO ASK HER OUT BRO." Nico landed on the patio. Blu began pacing around the small area, occasionally rubbing and scratching his beak.

"I'm working on it"

"IT doesn't look like it." Pedro fired back quickly. Blu stopped and sighed. He really wasn't working on it. All of his ideas didn't seem to fit the occasion. He needed help, DESPERATELY.

"Maybe, I need some help with it, I don't know, something to say." Blu confessed to Nico and Pedro. Nico jumped onto Blu's beak which startled him

"Why do you think we are here?" Nico shook Blu's head as he drifted back down to the patio.

It was pretty obvious at this point that Blu didn't have the captivity to ask for Jewels eternal love. He was stuck in a pile of his own shyness and general awkward behavior. It was going to take a lot of courage for Blu to finally seal the deal.

Nico and Pedro knew they were also dealing with a very challenging situation. But that's what friends do, sacrifice their own time for their friend. As well as saving and entire species of bird, but that was just an add on. Blu didn't see it that way since he knew the were almost always sleeping or partying.

"Alright alright, what do we do." Blu threw his head back and sighed.

"Its more like, what you will do? But you're going to help us clean our club." Nico said

"Yeah yeah, great for brainstorming." Pedro jumped up and landed on the patio with finger guns pointed at Nico.

"Mmm sure." Nico and Blu both said.

Nico and Pedro took off towards the city, while Blu stood there for a second. He looked toward the direction Jewel flew off too. Blu was going to do his absolute best to make this moment absolutely perfect. He faced back towards the city.

"Let's do this." Blu said as he leaped off the edge and followed Nico and Pedro into the city.
