"Do you at least want to talk about what happened?" Enid asked as they apparated back home. Jade took her luggage upstairs to her room and locked the door. Enid looked up the stairs and turned around to Algie who sighed.

"She looked so upset and hadn't eaten anything the entire day!" Enid said.

"Whatever happened, Cormac didn't want us to know. He said they were play fighting, she could be upset that she actually broke his nose. To be honest, I don't blame her; I've had an uncontrollable urge to crack his nose sideways too." Algie said.

"Algie would you be just a little supportive here?" Enid asked.

"Enid, if she doesn't want to talk, don't force her. It'll upset her even more. When she's ready, she'll speak to us." Algie said, hugging his wife.

"If she can't speak to us then she'll speak to Ginny. She needs someone to talk to. It's unhealthy to keep things in like that." Enid said, going over to take a few pages of parchment out of a desk.

In the morning, Enid woke up and walked out of her room and went to Jade's room at the end of the hallway.

"Sweetheart?" Enid asked, lightly knocking on the door. When she didn't hear a response, Enid, opened the door and looked in to see no one inside. She walked downstairs and pulled the sleeping robe tightly around her as she saw Jade concentrating on shoveling snow from outside. Enid sighed and shook her head, pouring herself a cup of tea. It was better than having Jade sleep all day in her bedroom.

"Hey! Troll face!" someone shouted. Jade turned around and saw Ginny hurl a snowball at her. Jade ducked and Ginny's face fell. She swore and started forming another snowball.

"Don't move!" Ginny yelled, aiming the snowball at Jade. She threw and Jade stepped to the side, letting it fly by. Ginny let out a yell and charged at Jade, pummeling her to the ground.

"You cheater! You somehow knew that snowball was coming! Cheater!" Ginny yelled. She stopped and looked up when Jade wasn't fighting back. Instead, she was shocked to see Jade crying.

"Did I hurt you? I didn't run into you that hard, did I? I swear I was only playing." Ginny said as Jade sobbed harder.

"Jade! What's wrong with you?!" Ginny asked.

"I cheated on Fred! I slept with McLaggen!" Jade said. Ginny chuckled.

"Okay that's funny. How was Bali like?" Ginny asked. Jade sat up and ripped her hat off.

"I'm so disgusted in myself. I can't even look at myself pass by in a mirror. I don't want anything to do with myself after what I did. How am I ever going to tell Fred? He would hate me for the rest of his life and I wouldn't be able to live with that." Jade said.

"You're not shitting me at all, are you?" Ginny asked.

"No, you fucking idiot! This is just my twisted sense of humor!" Jade said.

"How did this happen?" Ginny asked.

"I got really drunk that night and only remembered myself kissing him." Jade said.

"Why did you kiss him?" Ginny asked.

"I don't remember. All I remember was having my last drink and then I remember lying on the beach with Cormac on top of me." Jade sobbed.

"Jade calm down. You're hysterical right now." Ginny said, unwrapping Jade's scarf.

"Jade, you need to breathe and calm down." Ginny ordered.

"I can't believe I would be capable of doing this." Jade said.

"We all make mistakes Jade. This isn't your fault." Ginny started to say.

"I wish people would stop saying that to me! It's my fault! I took full responsibility over this!" Jade said.

"Okay, fine. It's all your bloody fault! But guess what? It was a mistake…or do you disagree?" Ginny asked.

"Of course not." Jade said, shaking her head.

"I know that's what I would hear." Ginny said softly as she wiped Jade's tears. "I can't say I'm not shocked…this is definitely something I never expected to hear in my life actually. But I know you love Fred and care deeply for him; otherwise you would never feel this guilty." Ginny said.

"Why aren't you mad at me?" Jade asked.

"Because I love you…and I know it wasn't you. I'm a little hurt and disappointed but this isn't what you need right now. I know if I did something too, you'd be disappointed but you wouldn't stop supporting me or make me feel worse." Ginny said.

"I just don't understand how this happened. I just wouldn't do something like this." Jade said.

"I feel the same way. I have a hard time believing it too." Ginny said, hugging Jade.

"And Fred? What do I tell Fred?" Jade asked.

"You tell him the truth. It's better he hears it now than having to find out from McLaggen." Ginny said.

"Does he know I'm back so early?" Jade asked seeing Ginny shake her head.

"I got your Mum's letter." Ginny said.

"Letter from my Mum?" Jade asked.

"Your mother said you got into an altercation with Cormac that left you incredibly upset. You wouldn't talk to anyone and just cry in your room so she was worried, naturally and asked me to come by and talk to you because you wouldn't speak to anyone else." Ginny said.

"I spoke to Neville, he was there." Jade said.

"He saw you have sex with McLaggen?" Ginny asked.

"No! He noticed how touchy feely Cormac was throughout the entire vacation and kept an eye on me. Somehow Cormac slipped him something in his pudding, causing him to shit all night and took advantage by getting me drunk and sexing me up in the beach." Jade said.

"That is the most revolting thing I've ever had to hear. He's a filthy low-life, that's what he is. I'm actually glad Ass is dating Malfoy, Cormac makes him look like the Pope." Ginny said.

"I'm never drinking again, that's for sure." Jade said.

"Remember when I went to Dervish and Banges a month ago to get these papers fixed?" Fred asked, holding up the paper towards George.

"Yeah?" George asked.

"Well apparently, they're breaking our customer's noses. We've gotten so many complaints and threats to sue us, it's killing me!" Fred said, repacking the pages into a box.

"I thought they were fine at first. It only stings a little when you get hit in the face with it but no, they wanted something with a little more kick." George said.

"I wish we could get Ron to test out these products but I'm afraid he already knows that we're testing the bad ones out on him." Fred said.

"You didn't mind testing the Bald for Two Minutes on Jade though." George grinned.

"So I thought she had a sense of humor, sue me!" Fred said.

"She'd have to be dense to be with you. You're probably the worst boyfriend anyone could ever have." George said.

The bell on the door rang and the twins looked up to see Cormac walking in with a nose cast. Fred instantly grinned.

"Well, well, well. Your nose cast looks lovely, McLaggen. It really mellows out your face." Fred said.

"Are you here to complain about the Whomping Pages? Leave your complaint in this box." George said, pushing a large white box towards Cormac and going back to stocking.

"I'm here to warn you, Fred Weasley." Cormac said. Fred stopped thrashing his rubber chicken back and forth and pointed it to himself.

"Me?" he asked.

"I'm in love with Jade, do you hear me?" Cormac asked. George dropped his things and turned around, completely engrossed in their conversation.

"Do keep speaking." He said breathlessly, batting his eyelashes. Fred chuckled and put the rubber chicken down.

"Okay mate, you're going a little too far for this one if it's a joke." Fred said.

"Do I look like I'm joking to you? I love her and she loves me back. She'll tell you that herself actually because I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. My family arranged for both of us to court each other and get married and I'm asking you as a gentleman to back the fuck off of my soon to be fiancée." Cormac said.

"Let me guess, you said that to Jade and she punched you in the face and broke your nose?" George asked with a smile.

"What do you mean surprise? And arranged courtship?" Fred asked.

"She doesn't love you, Weasley. She loves me…otherwise she wouldn't have…oh forget it. She'll tell you that herself." Cormac smirked. Fred jumped over the counter but George held him back as Cormac ran out of the shop.

"I'm going to kick his stupid blonde head in like a deflated football!" Fred said.

"Mate, I think you should go see Jade and see what the hell McLaggen's on about." George said. Fred straightened his sweater and grabbed his cloak.

"I'm going to go see if Ginny's back." Fred said.

Fred apparated back to the Burrow and immediately ran up the stairs to Ginny's room. The door was open and he pushed it open to see her laugh and turn around to mention something but her face fell flat. A streak of panic crossed her face when she saw him.

"What's wrong?" Fred asked.

"Oh…I just…I didn't know you would be home. Because you don't live here anymore." Ginny said.

"What's wrong with everyone today? Everyone's been acting so weird, first McLaggen-"

"McLaggen? What did he say?" Ginny asked.

"Er…he walked in saying a whole bunch of horseshit a few minutes ago. Is no one home?" Fred asked.

"Hey Gin, I think I finally learned how to use the stove in your…house." Jade said, stopping in the middle of the hallway when she saw Fred step out of Ginny's room.

"Hey, beautiful. You look a little fresh and healthier from Bali." He said, walking up to her. Jade felt sick to her stomach as the plate with scrambled eggs and toast started rattling. The way he was smiling at her and the very few seconds it was known to exist was going to come to a gruesome death.

"Is that for me? I've been starving all day but you're here now." Fred said, taking a bite out of her toast. He chewed, seeing her stare at him, looking mortified. "Is there something on my face?" he asked, touching his face. Ginny took the plate from Jade's hand and took it to her room.

"What?" he asked.

"Fred, we need to talk." Jade said, opening the door to his old room.

"Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I like that, we need to talk. Good one, Ginny would never know." Fred said, shedding out of his robe.

"Fred, this isn't-" He kissed her, picking her up and placing her on an empty desk.

"Please don't tell me it isn't a good time. It's the perfect time. I haven't seen you in days and you think it's funny to send McLaggen over to my shop so he can tell me how you both are arranged to be married so I can come here and find you? Genius. You know how to set up a real role play." He said, kissing her again.

"Wait! McLaggen came to your shop today?" Jade asked. Fred looked at her.

"Okay, you just got pale real fast. What's going on?" Fred asked. Jade started crying all of a sudden, confusing him.

"Fred please don't be mad at me." Jade squeaked.

"I won't be mad at you." Fred said, trying to move her face to look at him.

"No. You're going to explode and do and say things that I'll probably wish I never heard." Jade sobbed.

"I'm going to try my best not to do those things. I love you Jade, what can I possibly get mad over? Is this the whole marriage thing?" Fred asked.

"No." Jade whispered.

"Then?" Fred asked. Jade paused, trying to gain her wits together. She couldn't look up to meet his eyes for the life of her. Instead she lowered her gaze and said it as quietly and as clearly as she could.

"I slept with Cormac." Her words echoed throughout the entire room and back through Fred's head. It was a surge of anger that licked through his chest as he grabbed her face and forced her to look into his eyes.

"What did you say?" he asked.

"Fred please let go of me. Fred!" Jade screamed as he let go of her. It took him a few seconds to absorb the news before his frustration kicked in.

"This was all an accident!" Jade explained.

"Oh yeah, because you accidentally hopped on his cock, right? How long did this accident happen?" Fred asked.

"I don't remember." Jade choked out.

"You don't remember?" Fred laughed. "Well that's a fucking relief! You don't even remember sleeping with him!" Fred yelled. The door opened and Ginny walked in.

"Fred this isn't fair for Jade." She said.

"This isn't fair for Jade? Excuse me for being a little selfish but has it come to anyone's attention that this just might be unfair for me? I didn't go off fucking someone when I was here! Or is it because you have to be in Bali to do that?" Fred asked Jade. She looked like she was having a hard time breathing and sounding out words because of her sobbing.

"She's been upset about this the entire time! She never wanted to hurt you because she wasn't herself when it happened." Ginny said, starting to feel her voice start to raw. Fred clapped and nodded at Jade.

"This is very good news. You have a heart! You're unfaithful but you become upset after you're done screwing their brains out!" Fred said.

"I can't do this." Jade said, going to leave but Fred caught her arm.

"You can't do this? Oh no sweetheart, you're not going to leave me high and dry like this. You get to do all the fun stuff and you get to break up with me? No, that's my job. I'm leaving you because you clearly don't need me and because apparently one man isn't enough for you. I don't even want to see you again in my life; I definitely don't want to speak to you or have any sort of contact with you, whatsoever. Anything you've ever given me in your life, I'll send it right back through Ginny but please be nice enough if you ever, ever had the smallest feeling for me in your big, old, empty soul, that you won't send me back any of my things. I don't care how much money I spent, just don't resend it. Recycle it and give it to McLaggen or whomever your person of interest becomes that week." Fred said.

"Fred I'd never do something like this to you. I can't remember anything, I can't even remember feeling myself feel guilty, enjoying it or anything. Not a scrap of it comes to mind." Jade said.

"But you slept with him and that's all that matters. You could have gotten so pissed drunk, you could have slept with Neville, or McLaggen's uncle or your own bloody father! But why McLaggen out of all men? He's pretty, you're pretty so it makes bloody good sense that you both would shack up but shit! What about that annoying redhead that's always in the way?" Fred asked, smacking his own head.

"Fred, I love you. Please try and understand where I'm coming from." Jade begged but Fred ripped his arm away from her.

"Gin, tell her she ruined it for herself. Have a nice life." Fred said, leaving.
