The day after, Jade and Ginny woke up in the Hospital Wing, seeing Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall speaking with Astoria who had her arm bandaged.

"What's going on? Ow! Merlin!" Jade hissed, looking at her foot that was in a cast. "Another cast? My foot broke again?" Jade asked.

Madame Pomferey walked up to her and shoved her back to lying down.

"My question exactly! How many times does a person have to break their foot to realize it's not a thing to be broken?" she asked, forcing down a potion to Jade who choked.

"My head…I don't feel so good." Ginny moaned, clutching her head.

"You kids and your crazy drugs! First fairy dusted marijuana and what will it be next? Getting drunk off of unicorn blood?" Madame Pomferey asked.

"You can do that?" Astoria asked.

Everyone looked at Astoria who shrunk back to her corner.

During breakfast two days later Jade sat next to Harry, yawning.

"Sorry but, I have to ask you, what were you smoking?" Harry asked.

"Ough don't even bring it up. We got into a shitload of trouble. I thought I finished out my detention deeds last year but we have detention all over again." Jade said.

"You're skating on very thin ice. Dumbledore is very generous not to have expelled you three after…whatever that was." Harry laughed, seeing Jade grin.

"Yeah well if you're on the drug, it would obviously feel a little more different." Jade said.

"I can't believe you thought you were singing as if you were in a musical. From what everyone else saw, it was like you were begging for change." Harry said, laughing harder.

"Leave me alone." Jade said.

"I heard Ginny and Dean broke up?" Harry asked.

Jade looked at Ginny who was in deep conversation with Ron and Hermione.

"Ever since three days ago, yes. Why would you be asking?" Jade asked seeing Harry trying to act smooth as he buttered his toast.

"Just concerned thoughts. She isn't too devastated, is she?" Harry asked, glancing at Ginny's direction.

"I wouldn't know. You should ask her yourself." Jade said as Harry grinned.

"What are your plans for today?" Harry asked.

"Nothing really. Thanks to Hermione, I finished all my essays that were due a week later and I don't have any exams to worry about right now. Do I have to be there with you and Ginny at Hogsmeade again?" Jade frowned seeing Harry nod.

"I'll babysit your children and cook on Sundays for your family!" Harry said.

"Why do I have to be the one to link you and Gin up for a conversation? You're Harry bloody Potter, what is there something that's not interesting to talk about with you? And for your kind information, you're definitely welcome to babysit my children but Ginny would eat them alive if you spent your Sundays cooking for my family." Jade said.

"I heard my name and eating children." Ginny said stopping in front of them. She looked bright eyed but it was mostly because she was positive that Jade was telling Harry something about her and her feelings about him.

"Yeah. I was telling Harry that you'd eat my children." Jade said.

"Why would I ever want to do that?" Ginny asked. Jade turned to Harry, smiling.

"Why am I doing all the talking?" she asked. Harry stared at Ginny, openmouthed.

"Er…we were talking about cannibalism and who would be more likely to eat children." Harry said.

"On a Sunday dinner?" Ginny asked suspiciously seeing Harry nod.

"Most likely a Sunday. Everyone goes to church on a Sunday and cannibalism is…you know, unholy." Harry said.

"Especially if it's a child." Jade added. Ginny drummed her fingers against the table, looking highly uncomfortable.

"It sounds like you two are in a very serious conversation. I'll hold a carriage for us, join us soon?" Ginny asked.

Harry choked on his toast.

"That's a yes." Jade said seeing Ginny offer him pumpkin juice.

"PFHANKS." Harry said, a large chunk of his toast falling out of his mouth. A small giggle escaped from Ginny but she clamped her mouth shut, still holding the pumpkin juice out.

"Sorry." He managed to cough out when he swallowed. He took the drink from her and started drinking, turning bright red.

"Easy! Drink slowly!" Ginny warned.

"Yes! We wouldn't want you to choke a few days before the big game, now do we?" Jade asked. Ginny said goodbye and left the Great Hall, leaving Harry and Jade alone.

"I looked like an idiot." Harry said seeing Jade laugh.

"You sounded like one too, but you made her smile!" Jade said.

"You'd laugh at a clown if it made a few jokes, wouldn't you?" Harry asked.

"You shouldn't doubt yourself so much, Harry. If you really like her, ask her out." Jade said.

"You never tell me if she likes me or not!" Harry said.

"It's not fair. You wouldn't want me to tell Ginny you like her, do you? Even though this just made it very obvious that you do." Jade said.

An owl flew past Jade, dropping a letter on her plate.

"It's a little late to be getting mail." Jade said, opening it. She scanned the letter quickly, seeing that it was from no one she knew.

'Don't want to sound invasive but could you be available again today? As soon as possible would be better for me.'

Jade looked at it, not being able to recognize the handwriting or who would want her to be available.

"Is everything okay?" Harry asked, seeing Jade fold the letter up.

"Everything's fine. I think the letter's been sent to me by mistake. Should we go?" Jade asked seeing Harry nod. They walked out and met with Astoria who smiled, looking like she was finally cheering up from her breakup with Malfoy.

"Feeling good?" Jade asked, shaking Astoria's shoulder. Astoria nodded.

"It's getting warm and the sun is as bright as ever. Who wouldn't feel good?" Astoria asked.

"Look at that Jade! I think our darling's back home." Ginny said knocking her shoulder into Jade's.

"Honey! I'm hoooome! Where are my kids and my hot meal?" Astoria asked as they got into the carriage.

"I feel used when you say that to me! Can't I get a welcome kiss?" Jade asked dramatically.

Astoria giggled and looked out of the window to see Cormac watching them from his carriage. Ever since Jade told her what happened in Bali, she wished she had some time alone with Cormac to juice his brains out of his ears. Lately, he had been following Jade around without getting himself detected by her or Ginny but Astoria saw everything. She didn't mention it, since she wanted to deal with him first before anyone else but he kept himself around people and never went alone.

Jade and Astoria walked around Hogsmeade for an hour, browsing through shops. They picked up a few bags of new clothes and shared an ice cream from an ice cream shop nearby.

"You know, I'm actually thinking about going down to South Africa for an internship this summer?" Jade asked.

Astoria stopped dropped her plastic spoon and stared at Jade.

"What the hell for?" she asked.

"Well…" Jade said, picking up the spoon and throwing it into a bin. "I have to make an impression if I want to be serious about Healing school." Jade said.

"But you could have gotten into a program in this country! Or even this continent! Why are you moving a few thousand miles away?" Astoria asked.

"They've got one of the best three month-Ass, where are you going?" Jade asked seeing Astoria walk away and chuck her ice cream towards a couple who yelped and jumped back.

"You know! I haven't even seen you for an entire summer! Fine, that's my fault but you're going to be missing for an entire three months?" Astoria asked.

"You'll be able to visit in a blink of an eye." Jade said.

"Sure I will but not every single day! Do you know how expensive it is to get Portkey travel tickets?" Astoria asked.

"Get your fat arse a job, earn some money and see me every week!" Jade said.

"Fuck you troll! I haven't worked a day in my life…I'm a princess, princesses shouldn't be working." Astoria said.

"You're a nightmare, did anyone tell you that?" Jade asked.

"Sticks and stones, troll. Listen, do you mind if I catch up with you after a few minutes? I need to take a piss really badly." Astoria said seeing Jade sigh.

"I'll be with Harry and Ginny at Madame Puddifoot's." Jade said seeing Astoria nod.

"Few minutes! That's all I ask! Get all warm and toasty and order number seventeen for me!" Astoria said.

Astoria left and Jade walked towards Madame Puddifoot's alone. Every shop that Jade passed, she wondered how sweet it would have been if she were with Fred. Sometimes on a Hogsmeade visit, if she was lucky enough, she would see him around, trying to repair his things or here for business. Now she wished more than ever that nothing ever happened and he popped out of a store, made a joke about seeing her, kiss her and talk about the things that happened to him as they walked down the streets of Hogsmeade together, hand in hand. She brushed off the tears on her face and cleared her voice, walking on.

Cormac watched Jade walking by herself, crying and stopping to wipe her face. He felt extremely guilty for the pain she was going through. If there was any way where he could get her to be happy again, he would…but that would have to mean her being with Fred. If he were to tell Fred himself that nothing happened between him and Jade in Bali, he was afraid what Fred might have done with him.

"Whatcha watchin'?" a voice asked.

Cormac turned around, seeing a fist and small bright explosions immediately following it. The pain shot up in his nose and traveled to the top of his head as he cupped it, screaming as loud as he can.

"Scream any louder and I'll rip your throat and stamp on your annoying bitch of a voice right out of you. It'll be messy and I won't like it, but I'll be very good at it." Astoria growled.

"What the hell do you want from me?!" Cormac asked, thankful that his nose wasn't broken again.

"Why did you take advantage of Jade? You know she had a boyfriend." Astoria said.

"What the hell is it any of your business?" Cormac asked.

"She's my friend and you defiled her body like a Christmas goose! Just because of you, she's unhappy because the love of her life hates her. Now, do you know what I do to people who make my friends unhappy?" Astoria asked.

"You're not going to intimidate me! You're only a woman!" Cormac shouted.

Astoria's features slowly turned dark. In exactly thirty seconds, Cormac was up against the wall, choking for his breath, trying to kick but Astoria held her arm tightly against his throat.

"I never slept with Jade! I never slept with Jade!" Cormac squeaked.

"What?" Astoria asked, letting him go.

"I never slept with Jade! It was all a lie!" Cormac said, rubbing his neck.

"Now that's a big fat lie. What, are you trying to make a fool out of me? Do I look like a fucking knob?" Astoria asked.

"I'm telling you the truth! I only made it up so I could break her up with Weasley! I loved her, what was I supposed to do?" Cormac asked.

"How do I know you're not lying?" Astoria asked.

"You have to trust me! I only made it up because it would break them apart. She fell unconscious at the beach and I didn't want to shag her while she was sleeping, who does that? So I brought her back, fell asleep next to her and when she woke up, she only thought we kissed!" Cormac said.

"That's just about the most rotten thing you've probably ever done in your life. Aren't you ashamed of hurting someone you claim to care about?" Astoria asked. Cormac turned red and swallowed.

"If there's any way to turn things back, I will but I can't." Cormac said.

"You definitely can't turn things back but you can set them straight. You do know what I'm about to ask you to do, right?" Astoria asked seeing Cormac look towards Jade who stopped to speak to an elderly couple.

"I'll tell her the truth but she won't listen to me. She'll think I lied just to make her feel better." Cormac said.

"I'll come up with Veritaserum somehow but if you don't stick to your story, you'll regret it." Astoria said, pushing Cormac away.

"Like I haven't regretted enough." Cormac said.

Astoria watched Cormac leave and she turned to Jade who smiled and shook hands with the elderly couple. She bid them goodbye and Astoria started making her way towards Jade. She saw Draco grab Jade's hand and pull her into an alley and stopped, watching them speaking to each other, nervously looking around to see if anyone else was watching.
