The doorbell rang and Cormac sat upright. Jade was slithering against him, naked and flushed after he finished. He was in another state of anxiety again. Someone was downstairs but what would they know? They would know that she had changed her mind and decided to marry the man that was right for her all along.

"Someone's downstairs." Cormac whispered to Jade as she straddled him.

"And you're up here, with me." Jade said, biting his lip. She guided Cormac to touch her but the doorbell rang again.

Draco stood at the door with a bouquet of lilies and hyacinths by Fred's orders. He wondered what was taking so long for Jade to open the door. Maybe he shouldn't have worn so much cologne. He scratched the back of his head and checked the reflection on a window to see if he hadn't messed up his hair. The door opened and Cormac opened the door, looking paralyzed with fear for a few seconds.

"What are you doing here?" Cormac asked.

Draco was speechless to see Cormac shirtless, in his pajamas. The two men stood at the door, staring at each other until Jade walked down in her robe.

"Who is it, love?" she asked.

"Some, Malfoy." Cormac said. Draco took a look at the scene. Her hair was mussed and she looked flushed. He knew all too well what happened.

"Oh, Draco." Jade said, covering up a little more. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

Draco was holding the flowers so tightly; a sticky substance started oozing from the stems. He didn't even want to say anything because he was so enraged. Jade could see that Draco's face hardened and his jaw was twitching. She understood his pain but she didn't want Cormac to suffer from Draco's outburst.

"We can talk about this." Jade said.

"My mistake." Draco said calmly. He turned around and walked off, apparating. Jade frowned and looked at Cormac who shrugged.

"Well that was easy!" he said.

"No, you lard arse, I was talking about Scorpius becoming a thespian when he's older." Astoria said. Fred looked repulsed.

"Why are you saying 'lesbian' that way? Isn't he going to grow up to be one?" Fred asked. Astoria hit her head at his simplicity.

"You're a real idiot. A thespian is-"

The door bolted open and hit the wall with great force. Both Fred and Astoria jumped in their seats to see Draco flung the flowers across the living room. He stood there, still shaking with anger.

"Not a word." Astoria whispered quietly to Fred. They disappeared into the other room, seeing Draco take a seat on the sofa, his back hunched over as if he were in deep thought.

"Um…what the fuck was that about?" Fred asked his voice low. Astoria shook her head, looking at Draco.

"He hasn't been this angry since he's been a Death Eater." She whispered.

"What happened with Jade? She probably didn't take the hyacinths too well." Fred said.

"I think we should go to Jade's house and see what happened." Astoria said but Fred shook his head.

"I don't know, maybe we should ask him first. I've seen Jade angry too." Fred said.

"No! We're not dealing with him when he's about to kill someone! Jade was never a Death Eater!" Astoria said.

"Let's go to Ginny's." Fred said.

"We're the dead ones. Why are we scared? No one can kill us twice. We're going to Jade's." Astoria said.

"If you're so brave all of a sudden, why don't you ask your husband?" Fred asked.

"I'll beat you down the ground so hard; you'll just be an oil spot." Astoria hissed.

Astoria and Fred traveled to Jade's home to see that the lights in the home were off. They walked through the door, seeing candles lit everywhere.

"Okay…so far so good. What went so wrong? Malfoy doesn't like scented candles?" Fred asked.

They heard a giggle upstairs and looked at each other. They went upstairs to see Jade's bra hanging off the doorknob. The bed looked like a tornado had gone through it. Astoria put a finger to her lips as they heard water sloshing. The peeked into the bathroom to see Jade in a bubble bath with Cormac. Both of their jaws dropped, seeing Jade giving Cormac a back rub. She kissed up his neck, whispering in his ear. Cormac grinned and reached behind him, bringing Jade on top of him. She giggled as he kissed her chest and positioned herself.

Astoria's hand flew to cover Fred's roar and she wrestled him backwards as he fought to stop Jade from having sex with McLaggen in her bathtub. She managed to get him down the stairs and shook him.

"Shut up! If she hears you, it'll just fuck everything up!" Astoria said.

"FUCK EVERYTHING UP?" Fred thundered, his eyes bulging. Astoria slapped his head and took him outside.

"Okay so she's a bit of a whore. None of this makes any sense." Astoria said, watching Fred stalk around and kick the air and flail his arms madly.

"I just want to hold something and BREAK IT!" Fred shouted.

"How is this even happening? What did I just see?" Astoria asked herself.

"She's having sex with McLaggen in a bubble bath! With fucking candles!" Fred yelled.

"Yes I know! I fucking saw it too!" Astoria yelled back.

"Then stop asking me what you saw!" Fred yelled back.

"SHUT THE FUCK UPPP!" Astoria screamed.

"I think I'm going to be sick." Fred said, doubling over.

"You wish. Someone please take me off this earth. I've seen all of it." Astoria begged towards the sky.

"Fuck that! We're going to go in there and break them up!" Fred said.

"We don't even know what's happening you wanker! What made her suddenly be so much in love with Cormac?" Astoria asked.

"So we just leave her there with him? Bouncing away on his Quaffles like some brainless bimbo?" Fred asked.

"I don't know! Let's go to Ginny. She'll know what to do!" Astoria said.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO WE DO?!" Ginny asked.

Fred turned towards Astoria. "Pay up."

Astoria swatted away Fred's hand.

"Great, no one knows what to do. Draco's in his house, probably breaking a wall with his head. Poor thing even went through the trouble to ask my parents to look after Scorpius." Astoria frowned.

"He saw it?" Ginny asked.

"I'm pretty sure he did. The way he broke his door and just pheeew those poor flowers. I've never really seen him like that." Fred said.

"Oh shit. How the hell did she end up with McLaggen all of a sudden? They've never had sex, even after getting engaged…I mean, I guess it's not really surprising after she would have sex with Malfoy out of all people." Ginny said.

"Let's get back to the point. The point where this all stinks to high hell! Something isn't right and Cormac has something to do with it." Astoria said.

"I agree. This has Cormac's stench all over it. Remember how he went so far to lie about them having sex in Bali? What he did to Neville and drugged Jade?" Ginny asked.

"She did not look drugged to me. That's how we had sex when-"

"I'm going to stop you right there." Ginny said.

"Who are you talking to?"

Ginny, Fred and Astoria turned to Harry who had his arms crossed. He looked like he had gotten out of bed, his hair a mess, his eyes trying to adjust from sleep.

"Hello love, no I was just…practicing." Ginny said.

Harry's head dropped an inch from her absurdity.

"What?" Ginny asked.

"You're practicing? For what? A play where the wife constantly talks to herself and lies to her husband?" Harry asked.

"Oh he's good." Fred said, jerking his thumb towards Harry.

"Tell him the truth you dolt. Anyone can hear you from a mile away, anyways. You're tone deaf to your own volume." Astoria sighed, leaning against the counter.

"Why are you up? Shouldn't you be asleep?" Ginny asked.

"I can't sleep when you're downstairs, yelling at yourself about sex." Harry said, his voice hushed to mind their children upstairs.

"Tone deaf." Astoria confirmed, giving a thumbs up to Ginny.

"Hmph! I…okay you want to know the truth?" Ginny asked.

"Any day now." Harry shrugged.

"Ooooh. Sassy Potter." Fred said, snapping his fingers.

"Enough with the commentary!" Ginny told Fred. She turned to Harry. "You're going to think I'm crazy but I don't give a shit anymore. I'm talking to Fred and Astoria." Ginny said.

"I knew it. Love, we will take you to St. Mungo's first thing in the morning tomorrow-"

"I'm not crazy! They both make me crazy! Okay, that's just going to make you think I'm even more insane. I can prove it to you but the potion takes so long." Ginny said. Harry was quiet, trying to assess the situation. Ginny placed her hands over her face.

"Jade can see them too. So can Malfoy. It took Jade such a long time to believe it and she thought Malfoy was being crazy too but they're actually right here, talking to me." Ginny said. Harry's eyes flitted over to the empty space where Ginny gestured towards.

"Um, how long have you been talking to them for?" Harry asked.

"Too long. You have no idea how hard it is to keep a secret like this without having your husband and family think you're crazy." Ginny said.

"At least you tried…and why are they talking to you?" Harry asked, looking over to the empty space again.

"Tell him." Astoria nodded.

"I'm not telling him that. That's Jade's business." Ginny said.

"It's my business. It's everybody's bloody business if McLaggen's forcing my woman to have sex with him." Fred said.

"This is so strange." Harry said, seeing Ginny listen to silence.

"It's strange isn't it? It's strange when the entire world didn't believe you when you said Voldemort wasn't back. I had full faith in you, Harry, I wish you could do the same for me." Ginny said.

"Sweetheart, I think this whole thing is bizarre but I never said I didn't believe you. I'm just trying to understand this but you won't tell me what's going on." Harry said.

"Fred and Ass saw Jade and McLaggen having sex." Ginny said. Harry looked like he was about to throw up.

"You're going to have to go back and explain the entire thing to me. Give me a Thunderwhiskey first." Harry said, sitting down.

It was a long conversation. Ginny relayed everything she knew about the Jade/Malfoy/Cormac case to Harry. She told him about Fred and Astoria's involvement and how Draco came to see them after trying to commit suicide. She told Harry about Draco trying to find Jade in order to pass Astoria and Fred off to her but the two had ended up falling for each other. She told Harry that Fred and Astoria themselves wanted Jade and Malfoy to end up together and explained the presenting problem that she had just found out herself.

"So Fred has no problem seeing Jade…with Malfoy but it's-"

"He said you have no merit when it comes to relationships. Whatever that means. I think you struck gold." Ginny said, flipping her hair.

"He keeps bugging me about Cho. Why does he keep doing that?" Harry asked.

"He said he has two words for you: wet mop." Ginny said, seeing Harry cringe.

"Okay, I have no doubt that Fred is here." Harry said.

"It's too late to go visit Jade now but maybe tomorrow morning, we can drop by and see what she's doing?" Ginny asked, seeing Harry nod.

"I think it's a good idea. Maybe she'll tell us what's going on but from what I'm hearing, it sounds like what Merope did to Tom Riddle." Harry said.

"She love potioned him for ages. It sounds like the type of thing Cormac would do." Ginny said, seeing Harry nod.

"That son of a spineless bitch." Fred said.

In the morning, Jade woke up, next to Cormac and smiled, wrapping her arms around him. He turned around, his eyes heavy with sleep and hugged her back.

"What happened? Didn't you get any sleep last night?" Jade asked.

"Not really." Cormac said, feeling her rub his chest.

"Why not? Is it because of me? Do you want me to sleep on the sofa?" Jade asked, seeing Cormac sit up and shake his head.

"No, no, no. I…I just can't stop thinking about you." Cormac said. Jade smiled brightly at him and kissed him.

"I can't stop thinking about you either. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I won't go anywhere, I promise." Jade said, nuzzling his nose.

"You promise, Pookie?" Cormac asked.

"Cross my heart and hope to die." Jade said. Cormac smiled, hugging her tightly. "Okay, you freshen up and I'll go make breakfast downstairs!" Jade said, jumping off the bed.

"Here, have some water." Cormac said, handing Jade a glass.

"Okay." Jade said, taking it without hesitating. She drank it and handed the glass back to Cormac. "I love you!" Jade said, kissing him.

"I love you too, Pookie! Can I have pancakes shaped in hearts today, please?" Cormac asked. Jade turned around, slipping her nightgown off.

"Honey, you can have me for breakfast if you want." She said, shaking her hair out. Cormac thanked the gods above before grabbing Jade and taking her to bed.

"I don't think you two should come in. Jade's just going to start saying things in front of Cormac and he'll get suspicious. Especially if you flare your nose like that." Ginny said to Fred who stopped flaring his nostrils. Harry shook his head, ringing the doorbell.

"This is pretty serious, you two. I know it's tempting to start shouting and screaming but Jade is dangerous while under the potion. If McLaggen or Jade feels threatened, they can do anything and I mean anything." Harry warned, trying to talk to the air behind Ginny.

"Ass please keep a handle on your lid and his." Ginny said, seeing Jade open the door.

"Good morning! What an unexpected surprise!" Jade said, wearing a silky dark pink slip. Harry blushed and looked down, trying not to look at Jade's breasts but he was confronted with her legs. He looked to the side at Ginny who tried to gain her composure. She was blushing too but tried hard to act normal.

"I love your nightie!" Ginny said. Jade smiled, touching the hem of her slip.

"Do you? Cormie got it for me. It feels so nice! Come in! It's so cold!" Jade shivered.

"I couldn't tell." Harry murmured, trying not to look at the outline of her nipples from her slip. Ginny punched Harry's shoulder when Jade wasn't looking.

"Who is it, Pookie?" Cormac asked from upstairs.

"Hey Cormac!" Harry said, giving him a wave as Ginny glared at him.

"What are you two doing here?" Cormac asked.

"Relax honey; they're here to see me." Jade said, dismissing him with a wave.

"I'm her best friend." Ginny spat.

Harry closed his eyes in disbelief.

"I'M her best friend." Cormac almost shouted.

"You both are my best friends! Cormac's my soulmate though; you can't beat that, Gin." Jade said, flipping a heart shaped pancake with a spatula.

"I know exactly what to beat his head with." Ginny mumbled.

"You're right, Cormac. You two look so adorable together. I can tell that you two were made for each other." Harry said, seeing Cormac smirk, walking down the stairs slowly.

"Well, well, well. Straight from the hippogriff's mouth, I see. You hear that Weasley? Your own husband said it. Made for each other." Cormac said, testing Ginny.

Harry forced himself to chuckle and shot Ginny a look to comply.

"Yes…it's rather…undeniable." Ginny said. Cormac chuckled, patting Ginny's head.

"Good girl." He said. He walked over to Jade as she made another pancake. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck, looking at Ginny. Harry took Ginny's hand and squeezed it tightly, encouraging her to stay strong.

"Would you like to have breakfast too?" Jade asked, allowing Cormac to manhandle her in front of a very uncomfortable Harry and Ginny.

"We don't have an appetite." Harry said.

"And we never will." Ginny said cheerily.

"So it's just you and me, Cormie." Jade said, kissing Cormac and handing him a plate of heart shaped pancakes.

"Isn't she a dream?" Cormac asked, sitting down.

"Anyways, how have you been Jade? How was your birthday?" Harry asked.

"It was great! Spent it with my one and only." Jade said, sitting on Cormac's lap and cutting his pancake for him. She fed him a piece. Ginny saw Fred bolting towards Jade but Astoria grabbed the back of his collar, yanking him backwards.

"Fucking bastard!" Fred shouted.

"Oh no." Ginny sang softly. Jade turned around to where Fred was a second ago.

"Did you hear that?" Jade asked. Cormac looked behind him as well, looking puzzled.

"Hear what, Pookie? The beat of my heart or yours?" Cormac asked.

"Twat." Ginny coughed. Cormac turned towards her, sending her a glare.

"Are you two going to stay long?" he snapped.

"We should have a birthday dinner. I got all sorts of presents in the mail. Especially that one, it's my favorite." Jade said, pointing to the corner of the room.

Harry and Ginny saw a canvas that was covered behind the curtain. Jade flicked her wand. The curtain lifted and it was a portrait of Jade sitting next to a bonfire.

"That's beautiful. Who sent it?" Harry asked.

"Malfoy." Ginny and Jade said.

Cormac cleared his throat.

"I don't like that painting, Pookie. I could get you a better one." Cormac said. Jade frowned.

"But…it's so nice." Jade said.

"But I don't like it. Do you like something if I don't like it?" he asked. Jade slowly shook her head.

"Well if you don't like it, we can always throw it out. Whatever makes you happy." Jade said, kissing Cormac.
