In the beginning,

It all began,

With only fire and ice.

Only earth and water.

At first,

There were only animals and beasts.

Only them, the land,

And the green sea.

But this simple peace could not last.

Men soon emerged,

And with their weapons,

The hunt began.

Many beasts were killed.

Just as many men were killed.

But even through the losses,

Through the bloodied bodies,

Lying everywhere covered in scarlet,

The men continued to exist.

Then the world froze.

Blankets of ice,

Waterfall clouds filled grey skies.

Men, women, and children alike,

The freezing chill affected all.

Death and fear plentiful,

Communities began to fall.

But even on the coldest day,

Men lived.

The sun was found,

And the world changed,

From white to green.

Frozen to unfrozen,

And the men thrived.

Large villages arose,

Life was well.

Living was good.

Food was everywhere,

Plentiful harvests were often,

Hand in hand,

With celebrations.

Life was good…for now.

Intermission

There was plenty for all,

The world great.

But men began to fight,

Squabbling for small things.

Starting small,

Then growing faster than any village could.

Single men, mortals,

Dragged hundreds of lives,

Innocent lives,

Into the unjust wars.

Fire consumed the land.

Blood spilled.

Lives, new and old, ending.

All for the destruction of the world.

Burn ravaged world,

Furious furnace,

Inferno impure.

Ravaged all,

Bogo tabal,

Timore toron,

Totoo now gone.

But even this destruction,

This massive fire-pit,

Could not stop men.

And so it was,

The very beginning,

Once more.

A gigantic loop.

And so now,

It is only beasts,

Animals, men, the land,

And the green sea.

Once again.

And so it should stay.

Amen.

So be it.
