AN: This was supposed to only be one chapter but it started to get way too long again, so I reluctantly had to split it in two. I'm sorry you guys have to see such boring us parts. It's mostly just an information dump but was quite difficult to write. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!

It was a nice warm day in the month of March in the year 2016. Lots of things were slated to happen within the year, mainly the US Presidential Elections happening in November. Republicans and Democrats alike scattered throughout the whole country to rally support for their party's candidate as well as to preach their political ideals. Some say that it should be him in the Oval Office. Others say it should be her instead. And then a delightful few say that it doesn't matter who gets the chair because America is doomed for another four long years either way. Oftentimes, the friction from these separate parties would cause them to clash with one another to the point where law enforcement gets involved, and then a sizable number of people end up behind bars. Politics sure is beautiful.

On the topic of world news, the rates of terrorism have spiked across the world, especially (typically) in the Middle East. Though Osama Bin Laden was killed five years prior, terror continues. In November of the previous year, nine men shot up Paris, France, because someone made a few offensive skits about their religion, killing 130 people in the process. And as a response, the bombing of terrorist cells and territories further intensified. ISIS had gotten a fair amount of land quite quickly, but the ever-tightening grips of NATO and Russia took that land away faster than they had taken it, pulverizing any step they made toward a fantasy of a worldwide Islamic caliphate.

Speaking of the Russian Federation, their sudden annexation of the Crimean Peninsula and their support of separatist forces in eastern Ukraine shocked the world two years prior, breaking a treaty signed by the two Slavic nations and the United States after the fall of the Soviet Union. So, the response came in the form of multiple sanctions being hurled in their direction. Thus, the Russian economy worsened again, but that also meant fuel prices were going up as well. The UN has been politely asking Russia to stand down, return Crimea to Ukraine, and return to past conditions to avoid more violence, but the Kremlin was clearly ignoring those requests. Things have reached a stalemate, but some believe that the conflict would spiral into an all-out war in the future.

However, none of that was the concern of Commander Eric Halsey Ryan who was currently relaxing with a cup of warm tea in his hand. One of the first things he decided to do was to get to know the fleet one faction at a time, to get a general idea of them but not take too long. And he also decided to go with the Axis factions first to further eliminate any alienation they may still feel. And the first one on the list was the Japanese, also known as the Sakura Empire in the other world.

So, he found himself drinking green tea in the dining room of the house some of the Japanese girls had occupied. From the outside, it looked like any other typical American home, but inside it was evident that they tried to make it look like a house from their homeland. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good attempt considering what they had on hand. However, he didn't come to their place to admire the Oriental aesthetic. He had also picked them first because there was a specific ship with them that immediately caught his curiosity and he couldn't resist investigating further. And that same ship was currently sitting across from him, drinking tea as well.

Long brown hair and amethyst eyes, she wore an immaculate red and violet kimono with a Chrysanthemum Seal emblem on the obi belt at the center and a smaller one just above her chest. But what was most interesting about her was the pair of fluffy fox ears on her head and the nine tails on her back which were even fluffier. Such features were indeed unnatural, but he couldn't deny that she was beautiful.

Although, it wasn't her appearance that made her so interesting. All the other girls he has met so far were real ships with careers, however small. But this one did not. This specific ship was never commissioned or even launched. Basically, she almost never existed. And yet she was here right now.

Curious as he is, he mentally slapped himself every time he even thought about commenting on them, especially when they were not alone. Company came in the form of other ships comprising the Kidō Butai, including the 5th Carrier Division. Such a thing was rude and inappropriate.

"How is the tea, Shikikan-sama?" The woman asked.

"Well, uh, I'm not typically fond of tea, mostly because I never drank much of it, but this really good. Thank you for having me today," He replied.

"You're very welcome," She said before taking a sip. "Now, I assume you're curious about me, yes?"

He blushed just a bit. "U-Uh, yeah. I just don't want to come off as rude."

She shook her head. "Nonsense. If my commanding officer wishes to know more about me, then I would be happy to oblige."

She smiled kindly and took another sip of her tea before setting it down on the table and sitting up straight.

"In which case, I must properly introduce myself," She began. "I am the nameship of the Amagi-class battlecruisers, Amagi. Along with Akagi, I was originally supposed to be converted into an aircraft carrier, but that plan and my hull were scrapped after a certain natural disaster. Thus, I had never served."

She opened her mouth to continue, but then started coughing. Everyone in the room, including Ryan, tensed up when she did and looked at her with concern. Amagi noticed this and waved them off.

"It's fine, I am fine," She told them and then steadied herself. "As you can see, my body is not in great condition, but please do not worry about me too much. I am still capable of performing my tasks."

"Amagi-sama, you should not push yourself too much," A woman with long white hair and blue eyes. She wore a white dress with a black skirt, long white stockings, a pair of sandals, and a red ornament clipped to the side of her hair. This woman was Shoukaku, the lead ship of her class of fleet carriers and the flagship of the 5th Carrier Division.

"I am perfectly fine and capable of doing my duties, but I am still aware of my limitations. Rest assured that I have no intention of harming myself," She declared.

Ryan narrowed his eyes, scanning hers for anything he could use only to find nothing but steel within, leaving no room for argument. He then signed and took another sip of tea.

"Alright, I trust you. But please do not hesitate to seek help if you even think you only need the slightest bit of it. Is that clear?" He demanded.

"As clear as a hot spring on a calm day, Shikikan-sama," She replied.

"Very good," He nodded. "Now, back to business. I'd like to ask some questions about your faction and fleet, as well as some other information about your ships. Is that alright?"

"Hai," They all replied.

"Good," He said before taking out a pen and a small notebook from his uniform jacket. "First, let's start with ships like you, the ones that never entered service."

"I do not know how to describe it myself. The Wisdom Cubes are truly fascinating things. But, I think it has something to do with history," Amagi answered.

"History?" He wondered.

"A ship has to have a history, otherwise it cannot bear a Kansen. That's what's known," She answered. "But interestingly enough, it's not limited to ships that have been commissioned. There is me, and there are even ships that have never left the drawing board in this world. Perhaps it's because they still exist in historical documents, and somehow that is enough to fill the criteria for a Kansen to be born. And those that are from blueprints only are given the Priority Research designation, in part because they are quite difficult to obtain."

"Interesting," He mumbled as he took notes.

"You may want to consult others about this, Shikikan-sama. It is not my field of expertise," She told him.

"That I will. But, I'd like to ask, what ships do you know are under the PR designation?"

"We have quite a number of them within the fleet of our faction. The battleships Izumo and Shikishima are only two of them, but you may know them as the battleship designs A-140 and A-150 respectively," She answered.

"Those sound familiar, but I'll look into them and consult the other girls later. I'd like to make this quick," He said as he finished the notes for that part.

"I shall also give you files regarding our faction's PR ships," Amagi added and smirked. "Are you perhaps getting tired of us already?" She playfully remarked causing him to chuckle.

"Oh no, of course not. I'd be more than delighted to spend all day with gorgeous ladies like you," He snarkily answered, causing some of them to laugh and others to blush. "I may be your commander, but I don't want to be a bother too. Now then, onto the topic of your fleet. It seems to me that you've become the leader of the fleet."

"That is because I am. I am the most senior Kansen of the fleet and holder of the highest position. Although, I have the assistance of the Nagato and Yamato-class in managing the fleet," She answered.

"Amagi-sama's tactical prowess is unparalleled, thus she has been elected to lead the fleet," A woman with long blonde hair and pale blue eyes remarked. She wore a blue and white top with gold cuff ranks, a blue hat with horns, a white miniskirt, black thigh highs, and red heels.

Unlike all the other Japanese ships he'd met so far, her outfit was more European than anything. She also has a slight British accent, in contrast to the generic American accent the Japanese girls have whenever they speak English for some reason. For this woman was Kongou, the lead ship of her class of battlecruisers and the last ship built by Britain for Japan.

"We have a VIP then. In that case, I swear not to disappoint you, Miss Amagi," He assured.

"We swear not to disappoint you too, Shikikan-sama," She said.

"Okay, and… I guess that's it for now. Discussions about strategy and formation shall be done when all of us are together. I don't want to waste time by having to go speak to each of you individually," He said as he finished up his notes. "But something has got me curious, where do you source your equipment and ammunition?"

"Hmm, I think it's time you meet the merchant, Shikikan," A woman with long black hair tied in a ponytail with a white ribbon with a pair of flapped-down dog ears that it was a bit hard to spot, and hazel eyes said. She wore a white top and matching miniskirt that resembled naval attire, long black stockings, and black closed shoes. This was Takao, the lead ship of her class of heavy cruisers.

Ryan raised an eyebrow. "Merchant?"

About ten minutes after that, the commander would find himself in another part of the base near the docks. They got there via a silver 1971 Toyota Crown Super Saloon that belonged to the Japanese girls with Takao driving. How they got one was unknown to him but it didn't matter anyway. It was a small building that was essentially a store with all sorts of things for sale with the prices of some on the verge of being ridiculous. There was even a Type 91 36 cm shell on display… and it was for sale… for 10 grand.

And that was when he came face to face with another shipgirl standing behind the counter.

She was a short girl, probably an inch shorter than the destroyers even. She had long mint-green hair with a pair of cat ears on her head and golden eyes. She had on a white short dress with sleeves long enough to completely conceal her hands, white socks, and grey shoes. She was also holding a big ass wrench-looking thing that was as long as she was tall.

She looked up at them and smiled.

"Nya? Shikikan and Takao-san, Kon'nichiwa!" She greeted.

"So, you're the other repair ship?" Ryan asked.

She nodded with a smile. "Yes, nya! I am the one and only repair ship of the Imperial Navy, Akashi, nya! I handle ship repair and maintenance for the whole fleet! There's nothing Akashi can't fix, nya!" She declared. "And as you can see, nya, I also run this shop for some extra cash hehe, nya."

"Akashi and Shiranui are among those in charge of fleet logistics, Shikikan," Takao said.

"That we do, nya! The fleet can't fight without ammunition after all, nya!" Akashi exclaimed happily. "So, what brings you here, Shikikan, nya?"

"I wanted to know how the logistics system works. Basically, where do you get your ammo? You can't source it from us, or anyone, because we haven't made anything bigger than a five-inch round in decades?"

"Logistics chain, nya? Follow me then!" She gestured.

After locking the front door and closing her shop, Akashi led them to a warehouse that was close by, describing it as the place where their logistics were handled. And once they entered, he instantly saw why. Shells of all calibers, bombs, torpedoes, and other ordnance were neatly stacked together along with other equipment you'd normally find on a ship. Sailors were roaming about, tending to various equipment, stopping and saluting when they saw him which was quickly returned so they could get back to work. But it wasn't just them, there were groups of short, white-haired girls also running around and tending to equipment. A group of them was even working on a 3"/50 caliber gun.

"Uh, Akashi, who are those girls?" He asked.

"We are Bulins!"

Turning to whoever said that he came face to face with one of the mysterious girls but she wore an additional dixie cup hat on her head while carrying a giant wrench. She approached him before resting the wrench on her shoulder and saluting with her free hand.

"Chief Bulin reporting, Commander!" She greeted.

"The Bulins are part of the fleet's auxiliary force, Shikikan," Another voice said. "They assist us with maintenance and repair."

Turning again to whoever said that he now came face to face with another short woman. She had shoulder-length, brownish-black hair with bangs long enough to cover one of her ruby-red eyes. She wore a black kimono with some red accents and a flame pattern at the hem and sleeves, as well as sandals and white socks. She also had a pair of bunny ears on her head that seemed fake but likely weren't, and a little white ornament thing with an AA gun on top. And it was faint, but it seemed like she had some purple orbs floating around her. She then walked up to him and bowed slightly.

"I am the Kagerou-class... or rather, the second ship of the Shiranui-class, Shiranui. I am the head of fleet logistics, but I can also be deployed on sorties if necessary," She introduced.

"Greetings and well met. I assume you already know who I am, so I won't introduce myself anymore," He said with a nod. "So, how does all this work?"

"Please follow me," She gestured and walked away.

Following her, they ended up a little further into the warehouse where there was this machine of sorts set up. It was hard to describe, but it seemed like it had an input and output like something in a factory with a cart placed within the latter section. There was also a control terminal with a keypad, displays, and ports to stick hard drives in. It also had a vintage look like it was made in the 80s or 90s as shown by the analog displays. However, he didn't let that fool him for what it might actually be.

"What's this thing?" Ryan asked.

"This machine here is what we use to manufacture our ammunition and equipment through Wisdom Cube power. We call it the 'Workbench.' No, it does not 'magically' create something from thin air, they would still require the raw materials thus the input section. Wisdom Cubes are powerful, but they are still bound by scientific laws. Allow me to demonstrate."

Shiranui gestured to the Chief Bulin who then whistled to get the attention of some of her sisters before making her own gestures to them herself. Those that heard her were ones who were idle at the moment, and they quickly moved after receiving their order. They picked up various raw materials like metals and chemicals and placed them within the 'Input' section of the machine.

"If I may ask, how do those girls differ from the rest of you?" Ryan asked.

"The Bulins are born the same way as the rest of us, but they're not shipgirls, nya. They can't fight more than basic self-defense, but they're very useful with maintenance and repair duties, nya," Akashi answered.

"And since they're still part of the fleet, they're still eligible to the same benefits as us and have a set work schedule for each of them," Shiranui added.

"Okay then."

"Come, Shikikan. You want to see this," Shiranui said.

The ghostly destroyer had walked over to the side where an armored shipping container was sitting. Entering a code on the keypad, there was a beep and the red light switched to a green one indicating that it was now unlocked. She then opened the door to reveal its contents which were crates stacked on top of each other on the sides while allowing a passageway in the middle. Shiranui walked in followed by the rest of them, moving to a specific crate near the entrance.

"You may want to close your eyes, Shikikan," She said.

Undoing the locks and opening the crate, bright bluish-white light engulfed the interior of the shipping container, forcing most of them to cover their eyes. Ryan took a moment to get his eyes to adjust to the light, he was able to properly gaze upon the contents of the crate. And he was in awe once again when he realized what they were.

Organized neatly within the fiberglass container were a number of 4x4x4-sized, glowing, bluish-white cubes. He instantly knew that these were the Wisdom Cubes.

"Wow," He whispered.

"And so you know, the Wisdom Cubes are safe to touch by humans with no radioactive hazards as well, nya," Akashi said.

"Really?" He said before. "Well, don't mind if I do."

Ryan reached for one of them but slowed to a mere poke with his finger just to be sure. When nothing happened, he casually picked one up. Feeling it, he noted that it weighed at least a couple of pounds and was slightly warm. He also thought he could turn one into a paperweight or a fancy lamp.

"Whoa," He whispered.

"Pretty, isn't it? But it gets better. Come, Shikikan," Shiranui said, leading them back to the Workbench where she pulled open a little cabinet big enough to fit a Wisdom Cube inside. "Please place it in here."

Ryan did as told and put the Wisdom Cube in the container. Shiranui pushed it back inside and secured it before going back to the keypad. He also noted another LED display in light blue color showing 100%. That probably meant how much juice the cube still had.

"Now, simply enter the code of the item you want to produce, the amount of them you want to be produced, and then press 'start'. As a demonstration, let's make twenty Type 91 20cm armor-piercing shells."

After entering the code for the shells and placing the amount, she hit the start button and the Workbench fired up. It whirred and beeped a bit before beams of light were shone from projectors at the top of both sections as the raw materialize seemed to disintegrate within the input section, while cylindrical objects began to materialize from the base up on the cart within the output section. Ryan's eyes widened as he watched 8-inch shells essentially being printed in front of him. And thirty seconds after it began, a batch of twenty Type 91 20 cm shells sat on the cart, and the light blue display now showed 97%.

"Goddamn," He whispered.

"These shells can then be taken to a ship or weapon that is compatible with them to be loaded or fired. But as you can see, they're much too big to fit within our rigging. Rigging requires a specialized type of ammunition encased within special cells that is loaded into it," Shiranui explained before turning to Takao. "Takao-san, please hand me one of your cells."

She nodded. "Hai. Please stand back, everyone."

They did as asked with the heavy cruiser stepping back herself, before deploying her rigging with a flash of light. Takao's rigging comprised two pieces of hull on both sides, which were attached to her body by two arms. On the right hull were three twin 20 cm/50 3rd Year Type gun turrets, and on the left were only two twin turrets with two funnels at the back. She also had a single quintuple 610mm torpedo launcher mounted underneath both her sides.

She then pulled open a little compartment from the side of her starboard rigging and pulled out a small rectangular object. It looked like an external hard drive, but it had a few LED displays on them.

"These cells are loaded into a Kansen's rigging, providing us fuel and ammunition. Think of these cells as like magazines for firearms, Shikikan. They provide our rigging with the provisions it needs to function," Takao explained as she handed the cell to Shiranui.

Upon taking it, the destroyer plugged it into one of the ports of the Workbench before moving back to the keypad and entering a different sequence. She had also ordered the Bulins to clear out the output section and put materials in the input section, although it was a smaller amount. And then, she activated the machine again.

"How much power does this even consume?" Ryan asked.

"Most of the power is supplied by the Wisdom Cubes, nya. But the main electrical functions of the Workbench can be powered by a diesel generator you can buy in Walmart, nya,' Akashi said.

"I see."

The same thing as earlier happened, but there was no output of any kind. That was until it was over, and Shiranui retrieved the cell and then handed it to him, he noted that the LED display where it previously showed '150' in blue light was now '170.'

"Fascinating. I think I get it now," Ryan said as he handed the cell back to Takao who put it back into her rigging before disengaging her rigging.

"Kansens also have multiple cells within their rigging. Main battery, secondary battery, torpedoes, small caliber anti-aircraft, aircraft, fuel, and other provisions. And most cells are not universal because of the multitude of differences each ship has. And there are also those who have special cells, like the girls in the 1st Carrier Division,"

"And because the equipment is basically being shrunk, they're much less powerful than what they would normally be, nya," Akashi added.

"Speaking of the equipment, as I've said, the raw materials are still needed to manufacture them even with these machines. We also had dozens of these systems in the other world to create enough for multiple sets of spares. But all we have here is this one system. So, it would still be a small bit costly and inefficient."

"Lots of things to keep in mind then, okay," He said and walked over to the Workbench. "It's still going to cut down costs by a lot because you can now do dozens of hours of work in only three minutes. And as for the machines, we'll just reverse engineer them and make more. Power's the only real issue because it's through Wisdom Cubes. How are they obtained?"

"When a Siren mass-produced ship is destroyed or when a shipgirl dies, a Wisdom Cube will be materialized, nya. Then we just pick them up and do whatever with them, nya," Akashi answered.

"I see. So, it's kind of like a video game; when an enemy dies, they drop loot," He remarked. "We'll just have to destroy as many Siren boats as we can and collect cubes from them. And by the way, if you do somehow die, the only thing your cubes would be used for is in a memorial. I can promise that."

"Thank you, Shikikan. I find that somewhat reassuring," Shiranui said.

"And this just means we have to make every shot count until we can improve the system. That's also fine because we'll only be supplementing the regular military anyway," He added and turned to them. "Well, I've seen what I came here for. Keep on carrying on the good work!"

"Hai, Shikikan."

"Buli, Commander!"

"Speaking of which, how are you girls, the Bulin crew, doing here? Everything fine on your end?" He asked, turning to the Chief Bulin.

She nodded with a smile. "Yes, Commander! We've got rules and schedules in place so none of us are overworked, and everyone's always super nice to us. Don't you worry, Commander!" She assured with a thumbs up.

He nodded with a smile. "Excellent! And so, if that's all there is, we're done here and you can all go back to doing whatever you were doing previously. Is there anything else?"

"Hai, Shikikan, nya! And oh, as a little thank you for being nice to us, I'm giving you a thirty percent discount on the first five things you purchase from my shop, nya!" Akashi told him.

"Really?" He said with a raised eyebrow before thinking of what to get. "Hmm, do you have ship model kits?"

"Hai, I've got models for even the PR ships, nya."

"Okay, then. Get me one for Enterprise and New Jersey. I can't seem to find any good models anywhere. And I'll just see what else to buy."

"Sure! Follow me back to shop and we'll get you what you need, nya!"

The Neko destroyer happily skipped along while Ryan followed along with a smile.

Come the next day, he found himself in his office. It was just a small office room that had the absolute minimum of everything with only a desk, three chairs, and a cabinet within. It only means that he has room for his own decorations later on, and he can still do his work anyway. At least there was a window and air-conditioning.

His work at the moment was reviewing the files of the shipgirls, especially the so-called PR ships. And he was quite fascinated with what he found, especially when he researched them. The most number of PRs belonged to the big four, aka America, Japan, Germany, and Britain with America having a bunch. Montana, Ohio, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Buffalo, and Anchorage were among the few.

Montana BB-67 was a battleship class designed to succeed the Iowa-class. They carried twelve 16"/50 caliber Mark 7 guns in four triple turrets, twenty 5"/54 Mark 16 guns in ten twin turrets, and small caliber AA guns everywhere. She would also be more armored but also a bit slower as a result. Her sister, Ohio BB-68, was similar, except she had eight 18"/48 caliber Mark 1 guns in four twin turrets instead.

Georgia was one of the battleship designs submitted for the BB-61 class but lost to the Iowas instead. Her layout was mostly similar to an Iowa but would carry six 18"/48 caliber Mark 1 guns in three twin turrets instead.

Puerto Rico was an enlarged design of the Alaska-class large cruisers with an additional triple turret for a total of twelve 12"/50 Mark 8 guns, as well as an upgraded secondary battery of sixteen 5"/54 Mark 16 guns in eight twin turrets. Aside from a bigger Alaska, it was essentially also a smaller Montana.

Buffalo was a design submitted by the Bureau of Ships to the General Board under Project CA-B. She was an enlarged Baltimore design with an additional triple turret for a total of twelve 8"/55 caliber guns. Anchorage was similar, except she had two quadruple launchers for 533mm Mk. 16 torpedoes.

These designs never saw a single keel laid down due to the shipbuilding focus being fixated on getting as many carriers out to sea as possible because it was the more effective and cost-efficient way. Although, America would've totally built these ships had Japan not started the aircraft carrier trend back in 1941.

Speaking of Japan, a good number also belonged to them. Namely Shikishima, Izumo, Azuma, Yoshino, and Ibuki.

Shikishima, also known as Battleship Design A-150, was a proposal for what's essentially a 'Super Yamato' type battleship, as if the Yamato wasn't already an overboard design. It would've been armed with six 51 cm/45 caliber guns in three twin turrets, the biggest to ever be mounted on a ship if it was made.

Izumo, or Battleship Design A-140, was one of the super battleship designs submitted that competed and lost to the Yamatos. It had the same dimensions as the Yamato, but it instead had nine 410 mm/50 10th Year Type guns in three triple turrets which were all placed in the front of the ship in a layout similar to the British Nelson-class.

Azuma, or 'Design B-65' and 'Super Type A Cruisers,' was a plan for a class of two cruisers submitted in 1939. They were planned to replace the Kongou-class in the IJN's Night Battle Force which attacks the enemy's outer defense ring of cruisers and destroyers at night to break through and launch torpedo attacks on the enemy's battleships. They would have been armed with nine 31 cm/50 Type 0 guns in three triple turrets. And because of their dimensions, displacement, and armament, they would've been comparable to the American Alaska-class which Azuma was then shifted to counter. Yoshino, her sister ship, would've had an additional four quadruple 610mm torpedo launchers.

And then there was Ibuki, the last heavy cruiser designed for the Imperial Japanese Navy. And unlike most of the PRs, she was actually laid down and launched, but not completed. To save design time, she was essentially a modified Mogami-class CA, but was requested to be modified into a light aircraft carrier in 1943 instead. However, she was never finished and was scrapped in 1946.

Moving on to the British, they had some interesting boats as well. There was quite a lot but the ones that caught his eye were Monarch, and Incomparable.

Monarch was one of the designs that lost to what would later become the King George V-class. She was very similar to them, except she would've been armed with nine BL 15"/45 gun in three triple turrets. Learning this, Ryan wondered why this design wasn't chosen since it was better in every way, especially considering the problems the British initially encountered with the 14-inch quad turrets in the KGVs.

And then there's Incomparable, a proposal for a very large battlecruiser in 1915. Looking at it, Ryan wondered if the person that designed this monster was drunk or something. The ship was among the largest warships designed and was one of the most absurd designs in her era. The thing was basically a Super Renown. She would've had an armament of six BL 20"/45 Mk. I gun in three twin turrets. And because she was a battlecruiser, she would also have a speed of about thirty-five knots. And if she really was made, she'd be the longest warship ever built that's not an aircraft carrier.

And finally, the Germans, who were renowned for over-the-top designs. A few of them were Ägir, Friedrich Der Große, and Roon.

Ägir was the name given to one of the variants of the planned O-class battlecruisers. She would've been armed with nine 30.5 cm/56 SK C/39 guns in three triple turrets along with two 533mm quadruple torpedo launchers. And because of her specifications, she would be classified as a Large Cruiser like Alaska and Azuma.

Friedrich Der Große was one of the H-Klasse designs, specifically H-39, submitted to fulfill the requirements of Plan Z, a project to expand the Kriegsmarine from the 30s to 40s. FDG was essentially an upgraded Bismarck. In addition to having larger dimensions and thicker armor, she would have eight 40.6 cm/52 SK C/34 guns in four twin turrets. Those guns could also be replaced with 42.0 cm/48 SK C/40 guns as well.

And lastly, Roon. She was one of the hardest ones that Ryan had tried to find anything on to the point he had to send an email to his friend who's in the German Navy to see if he knows something. But from what was written in the file, he deduced that Roon was basically an enlarged Leipzig-class cruiser armed with nine 20.3 cm/60 SK C/34 guns in three triple turrets.

All of these ships are only a few from a long list of them, especially since there were more countries other than the four. The PR ships all seem to mostly comprise of 'fantasy' ship designs for their respective navies. None of them were ever realized due to a multitude of reasons like a shift of focus, a lack of time and resources, or both. Besides, missiles are the way of the modern world. However, that does not make any of these girls any less useful, after all…

"It's not the gun, it's how you use it. And it's not the ship, but the Commander," He said as he put down the file before moving on to the next topic.

Another thing he discovered is the operating cost for each ship. Based on what he's observed so far, it seems that aside from some fuel and munitions, the shipgirls only still use up what would be considered less than the absolute minimum of resources. This basically means that the cost to operate them all would be MUCH less than if they were normal ships.

"Hell, I could probably even pay for them all with money out of my own pocket," He remarked as he read through the file. He'll have to confirm it later, but it's something good to know so he could maintain their logistics chain.

Ryan went on to review more papers for some more time until he heard his phone ding. Looking at it, he saw that it was a notification that he got an email. Opening it up, he saw that it was a reply from his German friend he sent a message to.

Well, that was quick. He thought as he started reading.

Hallo. So, you're looking for a fantasy ship, Ja? It's funny that you asked me that because I've been in the Bundesarchiv for the past two days looking for some more material for my research when I stumbled upon the very thing you were asking for. And there are two things to note about this ship. First is that this one roll of paper is probably the only thing that displays the ship you want, I've already tried looking for more but nothing. Second, this isn't even a plan for a ship, it's just a diagram for a proposal for a 20.3 cm triple gun turret. Looks like they also just took the profile of a Leipzig and enlarged it to fit the turret too. World of Warships even states that the ship in-game is mostly just from their imagination. And that's about it, there's nothing more I can find.

I hope this helps to some extent. And if I may ask, what do you even need these for?

Ryan smirked and typed in his reply.

It's for my work too. Vielen Dank, Markus.

After sending the reply, he put his phone back in his pocket before rearranging the papers into a neat stack and heading out of his office. He needed to head home and clean up a bit and prepare for the next activity of the day. He had a feeling that the girls he'd be talking to next would be a bit particular in regard to elegance…

AN: Chapter 6 done!

This story has just become my most popular one, and it's really good that you guys are liking it! Thank you!

In the year 2016, I turned 13, and my family and I visited America for vacation. We had been planning one for some time and just slated it for that year. It was my first time stepping onto American soil. And one of the highlights of that trip was our visit to the USS Midway Museum! Damn, was I one happy little shit back then. However, I was still young and stupid, thus I was unable to truly enjoy the trip, and thinking about it now upsets me a bit. I also wanted to visit USS Iowa in Los Angeles, but we got lost trying to get to Hollywood, putting my family in a bad mood, so I decided to lose the idea. But it bums me out regardless. Now, I promise myself I would go back to America and visit as many museum ships as I can and take lots of pictures too!

Now for info, I also got around to watching Kantai Collection while I was hunting for ideas. Other than a weird re-telling of the Pacific War and the blatant Japanese nationalism, which makes me kinda uncomfortable because my country was subjugated by the Japanese during the war, I found it to be extremely entertaining. I'll also be taking some ideas from there, especially in the character designs. AL has lots of good character design, but a lot of them are a little too over the top. I like the KanColle style of rigging designs more honestly. And I like Nagato, now that is a battleship!

Models and information. I'll be using World of Warships for info for most of the ships to be featured, and when air battles start to happen, I'll be using War Thunder and DCS to get info. I'll also be reading through tons of Wikipedia pages and other sites.

PR ships! I mentioned the ships like Montana, Ohio, and Shikishima during the first part. If you play World of Warships then you know what those ships are. They're not in Azur Lane, not yet at least. The devs would be fools not to add them. Puerto Rico is also here as a commemoration of me getting her on the last Dockyard. Damn, was she painful to obtain.

Speaking of WoWS, I finally got the Yamato after so long but her post-battle service cost eats silver like her KanColle self so it's kinda painful. Fuck CVs, DDs, and Superships, man. I'll also accept

And oh, a reminder! It's only happened once so far, and it's probably by a bot or something, but please don't advertise your own stories in the review section. I mean, you can insert it along with a legitimate review, but don't go spamming it.

Anyway, thank you guys for reading, please leave review, and I'll see you again in the next chapter which I hope I can post by next week! Peace out!
