Hi, here is finally my new chapter. Have fun reading. Feedback and coments are always welcome. ^^

Also if anyone has an idea for a nickname Bakugo can give Vivi feel free to tell me. I'm totally up for suggestions, because right now I'm stuck with Blueberry, which is not really creative.

Chapter 5. Feeling Safe

"Maybe we can't help feeling scared alone! But we're all right here, together! We've got our friends close by! Now there's nothing to fear, because we are not alone." – Natsu Dragneel

While Olivia is changing back into her school uniform she chats with the other girls of the class. This time they talk about everyone's Quirks and reflect on the day. Turned out that everybody thought it was quite fun, besides it being rather tough. They congratulate her on getting first place as well.

Once she got changed, she grabs the syllabus from the classroom. When she leaves it again, she meets Shoto, who is leaning against the wall, opposite of the door to the classroom with crossed arms. She stops before him, having an idea why he waited for her, or rather the Exceed who's with her.

He looks at her face and then to Bubble, who is like always sitting on her shoulder. "I guess you won't be coming with me?"

Bubble meets his gaze, looking sad and a little guilty. He nods, "Yeah, I'm staying with Vivi from now on. But we're still friends. The last months were really nice."

Shoto nods in understanding, still a neutral expression on his face. He pets the Exceed on the head, who has tears in his eyes. "Don't cry. It's not a goodbye."

Vivi smiles at their interaction, proud of Bubble for finding a good friend in this world all on his own. "He's right, Bubble. You will see each other all the time. I'll try to convince Aizawa-sensei that you can join us in class. I'm sure he will be okay with it. I know that he loves cats."

Bubble nods, a sniff escaping him, "Right! Greet Natsuo and Fuyumi from me, Shoto. I'm gonna miss them."

"I'll tell them." He pats his head once more, actually the hint of a smile on his face. His eyes fall on Olivias face, his neutral expression back. "See you." He says, before he walks away.

"You know, you can still spend time with him if you want to." Begins Vivi after Shoto walked around a corner, "I don't have a problem with it. Since I don't think I can take you with me to my day job it would be good to have someone I can leave you with. I can't quit my job, after all."

"You have a job?" asks the Exceed curious.

"Yeah, at a café a few minutes from the school." She explains. "I had to make money somehow and it was the best choice. Reminds me of the times we worked in Yajimas 8-island restaurant. You can go with him when I have to go to work."

Bubble smiles at her. "Maybe I'll do that some time."

After their talk with Shoto they go straight to Aizawas room, where she knocks. He opens the door just a few seconds later, looking as tired as ever. Vivi raises an eyebrow at him. "Are you sure you want to talk right now? You look like you could really use some rest. We can talk some other time."

He rolls his eyes, "Just come in. I sleep after we talked." He steps out of the way so that she can walk into the room, which she does. She settles down on a couch opposite from her teacher. Her Exceed sits beside her. Aizawa looks at her and asks her directly, "So, what was that at the ball throw test?"

The Dragon Slayer nibbles at her bottom lip and looks down at her fingers. She is unsure if she should tell him what exactly was going on. She knows that she can trust him. Probably the most from everyone else in this world she knows right now. Vivi is just a specialist in bottling things up and hiding things behind a happy face. At least she was in the past. Before she learned that talking to someone and opening up with her feelings and problems actually helps a lot. But the only people she actually talked about her problems with were Makarov, Bubble and Laxus. Can she really talk to someone she only knows since a few months?

It's not like she is exactly ashamed of her past or trying to hide it or something. Vivi is able to talk about most of the stuff that's happened to her, like when she showed her scars to the girls without hesitation. But talking about the feelings involved is a different story. She glances at Aizawa who looks at her. He's waiting for her to speak up, leaving the decision to talk completely in her own hands. With a deep breath she makes her decision and begins to speak, "It's actually kind of silly."

He squints his eyes at her. "You had a panic attack in the middle of class. That's not silly. It's serious. I need to know how I can help you if it happens again. And I would like to know why it happened. You seemed completely fine. But I know that seeming and being fine are two completely different things. If a trigger was the reason for your panic attack, we need to find out what it was, so we can avoid it."

She chuckles weakly at that, "Yeah, I don't think you can avoid it. But I don't think it will happen again. I was just not prepared, really. A theory of mine proved to be correct."

"What theory?" he asks calmly.

"People here share voices with people back home. I actually had this theory since coming here. You have the same voice as one of my guild mates for example. All Might too. I just wasn't prepared to hear his voice. Made me relief bed memories. Could have happened two times actually, but the second one was just too funny."

"Two? So, someone in the class has the same voice as someone you knew which triggered bad memories."

She nods. "Yeah. I told you about the war that happened in my world some time ago, right? Tenya has the same voice as the guy who we had to fight at the end. Since that guy almost killed me I kind of relived the battle a little." Her hand rubs automatically above the scar on her back. "The navel-laser-boy, I forgot his name, also has the same voice as the guy who started the war in the first place. But since the image of the black mage Zeref and that guy sharing voices was too funny, I was more distracted by that, than the bad memories."

Bubble snorts besides her. "That's great. Who else did you notice?"

Vivi thinks if she can place other voices she heard to someone she knows back home. "I think Denki is Jason."

"Cool!" replies Bubble instantly, which makes her giggle.

Aizawa's lips twitch slightly at their interaction. He's happy for her that she has someone from her world here with her now. Today would probably have been different without him. He remembers how she calmed down when the cat touched her and they shared a look. Still, there's something he has to ask her, just to make sure. "You are sure it won't happen again?"

Olivia looks at him and answers honestly, "At least not because of Tenyas voice, I think."

He nods, "That's good. Do you have panic attacks often?"

She leans back on the couch, hugging Bubble who crawls into her lap. "They started after the war. At the beginning I had them all the time whenever my injury hurt and they were far worse. Now it's the other way around. Whenever I get a panic attack my scar itches and begins to hurt. It got a lot better after a few weeks. Probably because my injury was fully healed by then. I was only triggered when someone said his name, or I was otherwise reminded of the battle. I also wasn't by far the only one who had panic attacks after the war. No one of us got out of the war without some mental scarring, I think. Since we all supported each other, it was way easier to get better. The one today was my first panic attack since about four months. Before the war I had only nightmares from different events, but no panic attacks."

He nods in understanding. "All right. Just know that you can talk to me whenever you need it."

"Me too!" adds Bubble loudly and smiles up at her.

She smiles at them in earnest. "Thank you." Her eyes travel to the clock on the wall and her face falls, "Oh shit, I need to get to work!" she jumps up, Bubble still in between her arms.

"You need to work today?" asks the Exceed.

"Yeah, I promised because someone else got sick. Can Bubble stay with you while I go to work, Aizawa?" she asks her teacher with a pleading face.

"Sure." He agrees.

"Great! I pick you up later, Bubble." Vivi pats his head before she leaves both of them to go to work.

The café owner, Yukimura Hima, asked her about her day while she worked. She knew that Vivi would have joined the hero course on that day. Excitedly she told her about the quirk assessment tests they did.

After three hours of working, she went back to the U.A and Aizawas room. When she enters with a spare key, she got from him some time ago, she sees an incredible cute sight on the couch. She looks down at a peaceful sleeping Aizawa, spread out on the couch, his feet dangling of the edge. Bubble is lying on his chest. He has his hand on the Exceeds back who is gently snoring, like always having a little snore bubble coming out of his nose. With a gentle smile on her face, she pulls a blanket over them. Afterwards she places herself on the other couch to go to sleep as well, not wanting to leave without Bubble and not bringing herself to tear these two away from each other. Of course, she doesn't do that before snatching a picture of the cute sight with the phone she got a month ago.

For the last three months it's the first time Vivi can sleep deeply instead of lightly and without being on alert. She feels safe. On the next day she feels more recovered and rested than she has in a long time.

To Vivis suffering the school starts off with normal classes. Not because she's dumb, she actually manages to be in the top half of the class, but she just hates this academic stuff so much. Olivia fights through the hours anyway. Yesterday, she didn't pay attention to it, but her table is actually next to Shoto's. Bubble is totally happy about that, since he's able to talk freely with his friend. Outside of classes, of course. Aizawa allowed Bubble to accomplish her to class. Vivi is sure that it's thanks to them bonding over their love to sleep, while she worked the day before.

Relieved when the torture is finally over, she goes to get her lunch together with Bubble. After she stuffed her plate with things to eat for herself, as well as all sorts of different berries for Bubble, she looks around the room. A familiar scent hits her nose and she turns around with a grin. Without hesitation she goes over to his table and sits down across from him. "Hey!" she greets in excitement.

Hitoshi looks at her with a little bit of surprise on his face, before it changes to recognition. "Ah, it's you. I suppose you made it into the hero course?"

"Yep." She pops the p while saying this, a grin on her face. "We did Quirk assessment tests yesterday. Aizawa scared the whole class by telling them he would expel the last place. It was fun to see their reaction after they realised he lied about that. It would have been fun with you there. You probably would have realised his lie as well."

"Can't be helped. I'm not in the hero course." He answers simply. Vivi notices the bitter sound of his voice of course. "What's with the cat?" he asks then, his eyes on Bubble, who sits on the table and snatches the berries from Vivis plate.

The Exceed blinks and looks at the indigo-haired boy. "His names Bubble. Aizawa allowed him to stay in class with me." She's sure the Exceed would hide behind her back, if he weren't as busy stuffing his face with berries. "That's Shinso Hitoshi. I met him at the entrance exam."

"Hi!" manages Bubble to get out after swallowing the berries down.

Hitoshi just stares at the cat, both eyebrows raised. "Did he just speak?"

"Yep." She pops the p once again. "He's an Exceed. A rare species of cats with an intelligence and flying Quirk from where were from."

"Aha." He utters, "Your still weird."

Vivi sticks his tongue out at him, "Your just jealous."

"As if." He throws back, voice neutral. His eyes travel to the side, narrowing slightly.

The Dragon Slayer notices this and raises an eyebrow. "What is it?"

He looks back at her, crossing his arms over his chest. "I thought about what you said to me at the entrance exam."

"What do you mean?" she asks, trying to remember, while starting to eat her food.

"That I have to get physically stronger to make up for what my Quirk lacks." He looks back at her.

She nods, remembering that. "Ah, that. Yeah. But I still think your Quirk is awesome regardless. It's really a shame you're not in my class. Your Quirks totally better than some of theirs."

"You'll see. I'll get into the hero course one day." He tells her, determined.

Vivi grins at him. "I'm all for it. If you need some help getting there just ask. I can train with you if you want to."

"Don't need it. I'll do it on my own."

"That's good, too, but sometimes we need help from others to get farther in life. I know that from personal experience." She admits, noticing his eyes narrowing again after her words.

"We'll see about that." Comes his reply.

After they finished their lunch break and she talked with Hitoshi some more, they finally have hero basic training. "I am here! Coming through the door like a hero!" Vivi grins at the familiar voice and looks at the door which slams open. All Might bolts through the door, to the awe of the whole class.

"Woah, I can't believe it's really All Might." Speaks Denki.

"So, he really is a teacher. This year is gonna be totally awesome." Exclaims a red-haired boy, she remembers his name was Eijiro Kirishima.

"Hey, look, is he wearing his silver age costume?" Notices Tsuyu.

"I'm getting goosebumps. It's so retro." Speaks the boy with the tail Quirk, who she learned is named Mashirao Ojiro.

"Welcome to the most important class at U.A. high. Think of it as Hero 101. Here you will learn the basics of being a Pro, and what it means to fight in the name of good. Let's get into it! Today's lesson will pull no punches!" All Might exclaims, holding up a card that read 'battle'.

"Fight training." Bakugo exclaims with a devilish grin on his face.

"Real combat?" asks Izuku, sounding a little nervous.

"Finally!" blurts out Vivi and grins excited, her sharp canines visible. I can't wait! Vivi really wants to fight some of her classmates from what she saw of their Quirks yesterday. Shoto, Denki and Bakugo being the top of the list. The list will probably get longer when she has seen all the Quirks. Not all of them had a chance to use them in the tests yesterday.

"But one of the keys to being a hero is looking good!" he continues, pointing at a wall out of which come shelves with numbers on it from 1 to 21. "These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms and the requests you sent in before school started. Get yourselves suited up, and then meet me at Training Ground Beta."

Like the day before they change in the locker rooms, this time into their hero costumes. Vivi smiles at the familiar feeling of her clothes from home. Bubble seems to be happy to see her in these clothes too.

After they changed, they go to the battle ground to meet with All Might. "They say that clothes make the pros, young ladies and gentlemen, and behold, you are the proof!" states All Might. "Take this to heart, from now on you are all heroes in training. You're getting me all ramped up, you look so cool! Now, shall we get started, you bunch of newbies?"

The Dragon Slayer lets her eyes wander above the different outfits. Her mouth waters at the sight of Shotos hero costume. Her fingers twitch at the sensation to just snatch herself some of the ice that covers his left side. Bubble giggles at that, getting send a death glare in response.

All Might speaks up again. "Now that you're ready it's time for combat training."

"Sir, this is the fake city from our entrance exam. Does that mean we'll be conducting urban battles again?" questions Iida, while raising his hand.

"Not quite." He answers, "I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights that you see on the news take place outside, however, statistically speaking, run-ins with the most dastardly evil-doers take place indoors. Think about it. Back room deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows. Well, this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys and fight two on two indoor battles."

"Isn't that a little advanced?" asks Tsuyu.

"The best training is what you get on the battlefield. But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You're dealing with actual people now." Explains the Pro Hero.

"Sir, will you be the one deciding who wins?" voices Momo her question.

"How much can we hurt the other team?" comes the question from Bakugo.

"Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?" worries Ochaco.

"Will you be splitting us up by chance or by comparative skill?" asks Iida.

"Isn't this cape trés chic." Vivi needs to hold back her laugh at such a question being asked with Zerefs voice. Bubble is in the same state, clasping his paws over his mouth to keep himself from laughing out loud, now that he also knows who this voice belongs to.

"I wasn't finished talking." Speaks All Might while pouting, as all of them ask these questions without giving him the slightest chance to answer. "Listen up, the situation is this: the villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys either have to catch the evil doers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they protect their pay load or capture the heroes. Time's limited and we choose teams by drawing lots." He pulls out a yellow box labelled 'lots'.

"Isn't there a better way?" questions Iida once again.

Izuku speaks up this time, "Think about it, pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here."

"Yes, I see. Life's a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness." Iida bows in apology.

"No sweat! Let's draw!"

Vivi drew the letter G. Looking around she finds out that she is paired up with Eijiro Kirishima. She grins and waves at him, causing him to grin back at her and giving her a thumbs up.

The other teams are paired as followed.

Team A Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka

Team B Shoto Todoroki and Mezo Shoji

Team C Momo Yaoyorozu, Mineta Minoru and Denki Kaminari

Team D Katsuki Bakugo and Tenya Iida

Team E Yuga Aoyama and Mina Ashido

Team F Rikido Sato and Koji Koda

Team G Hanta Sero and Kyoka Jiro

Team H Fumikage Tokoyami and Tsuyu Asui

Team I Mashirao Ojiro and Toru Hagakure

Team J Eijiro Kirishima and Olivia Moon

"But wait!" exclaims Tsuyu, "One team contains of three people. Isn't that unfair? They will have an advantage against the others."

"When you are on a mission nothing is going to be fair. You can have an advantage or a disadvantage. You just have to figure out a way to win against whoever your up against." All Might then proceeds to shuffle through two different boxes, who are labelled 'villains' and 'heroes'. "I declare that the first teams to fight will be... these guys!" he pulls one ball out of each box, written on them are the letters of the teams who will be up first. "Team A will be the heroes. Team D will be the villains. Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch."

"Yes, Sir." Chorus the class, before proceeding to said room. The first battle is going to be Izuku and Ochaco vs Bakugo and Iida. Vivi is a little disappointed that her team isn't up first. Can't be helped. Let's go watch.
