"Good morning, students!" Principal Waller announced. Much to his dismay. The kids didn't quiet down. He cleared his throat and tried again. "GOOD MORNING!" he yelled. The chatter quickly ceased, though a few whispers still reverberated throughout the gym. "That's better. Now. Welcome to the new year at Henry Roscoe High. We have quite a few things to discuss. New dress code.. new groups. And some new student activities will be going on this year. We encourage you all to participate as much as you can. And if you don't, remember, we do and will put it in your permanent record. In other news after being enligtened with that, we have two spots opening up on Cougar Radio. If you would like to try out. Please sign the sign up sheet after the assmembly." The kids began to chatter again after the assmebly was over.

Robbie, Ray, and Lily all walked around the different tables at the gym. Ray grimaced. "I have to try out for one sport. My father will kill me if I don't.." he grimaced. Lily laughed. "Ah yes. The Brennan curse to play ball. That's not a bad thing Ray. At least he wants you to have a good sportsmanship type feeling." Ray eyed her from the side. "Is that the subtle way of getting me to do sports so I don't have time to hang out with my best friends anymore?" he grinned. Lily laughed and punched him in the arm. "Nope.. Just teasing. You would suck at being on a team Ray," she giggled and shifted her eyes.

Robbie meanwhile had shifted over to the Cougar Radio table and quickly wrote down his name. He smiled in satisfaction but quickly frowned when a kid in a tight white shirt, plaid pants, and converse appeared next to him. "This where we sign up for the radio?" he asked. Robbie eyed him and nodded. "Sure is. Don't get your hopes up though. As I know I am perfect for the radio," he grinned and puffed out his chest as to try and intimidate the newcomer. The newcomer eyed him. "And you are?" he asked. "Robbie. Robbie McGrath. And who are you?" he asked. "Strong. Travis Strong," he smiled and held out his hand. Robbie took it reluctantly and shook it. "Where you from? I don't think I have ever heard of you.." he murmured. Travis chuckled. "That obvious huh? Hong Kong actually.. before that. England.. Germany.. France.. You name it. My father is a diplomat. We move around a lot.." he grimaced and shook his head. "Well. See you around Robbie.." he muttered and quickly rushed off.

Robbie stared after him for a bit and then turned his attention back to Ray and Lily. "Well. I signed up for the radio. I really hope I get in.." he grinned. Lily snorted. "And even if you do. You'll be a puppet and won't be able to say what you really want. But that's okay. At least you'll have a fancy new jacket..." she smiled. Robbie looked at her and grimaced. "Ray is right. You have been a fun sucker. First telling him about his sport team. And now this.. what's wrong Lily? Don't want to spend most of the afternoon with Ed and Ted?" he asked. Lily shifted her eyes. "Not that. It's just it's our freshman year. We have all the time in the world to think about things like that...And well. I just want to have some fun.." she murmured and shifted again.

Ray and Robbie looked at each other. "Fun. Yeah. Okay Lil," smiled Ray. Lily looked at the both of them and hung her head. "Yeah.." she murmured and then watched a pair of Converse cross her path and she looked up into some stormy blue eyes of that which belonged to none other than Travis Strong. She quickly looked down at her feet and blushed, feeling like she had been caught cheating on a text.

(Author's Note: This is the first time I have ever published a fanfiction. And leave it to me to have muse for something as crazy as Radio Free Roscoe. Love this show. Love it even more as I rewatch it. But anywho. Maybe this will start a revival on here? Not holding my breath. Lmao. But I hope you all enjoy. Also. Random disclaimer that I do not own Radio Free Roscoe. I just have it live rent free in my head.)
