Toadette entered Toad's hotel room, still crying from her fight with Dixie shortly before.

"Woah woah woah! Toadette, what's wrong!?" Toad frantically asked as she ran to him for a much-needed hug.

*sniff* M-Me and Dixie got into a bad argument…oh god, I screwed up so bad! I'm a horrible person, Toad! *sniff*" Toadette explained through her crying.

"Oh no! What happened with you and Dixie!? Here, sit down. Tell me what happened," Toad gestured to the bed and gave her some tissues to wipe her eyes with. She calmed down a little.

"We got into an argument about Diddy…she told me that she kissed Fire Bro and wanted me to keep it a secret from him till she tells him herself. But, when Diddy confronted me about why Dixie was acting so weird…I just straight up told him. I HATED lying to him and being asked to keep an awful secret like that! It made me feel so gross inside! So, now, after what you say earlier in the dining room with Diddy and Fire Bro, Diddy now knows about the secret and I followed Dixie to her room to try to calm her down but she…she blew up on me…and I got SO mad that I called her…I…I called her a stupid whore…and then she smacked me…" Toadette explained, feeling a little traumatized towards the end. Toad dropped his jaw.

"Toadette, oh my god! SHE SMACKED YOU!? HOW DARE SHE DO THAT TO YOU! That's it, I'm going over to her room and put some sense into her!" Toad angrily yelled but Toadette grabbed his arm.

"NO, PLEASE! YOU'LL MAKE IT WORSE! Besides, this was all my fault! If I hadn't called her that name, she wouldn't have done that to me!" Toadette cried.

"Toadette, stop! Listen to yourself right now! Yes, calling her that was rude, but she had no right to hurt you like she did! What kind of best friend smacks her own friend!?" Toad yelled.

"I DON'T KNOW, OKAY!? I just feel like dirt! Ever since the shooting at the hospital…things haven't been right with me. Something is wrong with me! No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to feel anything positive…I feel like I'm numb. I feel like…all I can feel is hopelessness and darkness. No matter how hard I try, I can't get those guys nearly killing us out of my head…" Toadette said, crying again.

"Oh…Toadette…I'm so sorry…I hate seeing my little sister like this…*sniff* I know your pain has never stopped since that night but I just wish I knew what to do to fix it…" Toad cried a little too. "But…Bowser Jr. helps, doesn't he?"

Toadette looked up to him. "Wh-what do you mean?"

"Bowser Jr. I've seen you talk to him a few times. You seem more comfortable talking with him than anybody else. He must really help with your problem," Toad pointed out.

Toadette stopped crying and wiped her eyes with more tissues. "Y-Yeah, he does actually. I feel like I can connect with him more than anyone else."

Toad made a smile. "Good. Bowser Jr. seems to be good for you. I can tell he treats you kindly. But, don't forget about me, okay? I'm here to help any way I can."

This made Toadette smile a little as well. "Thanks, Toad. That means a lot. But, as for Dixie…just…leave her alone. Please. It WILL make things worse."

Toad sighed in disappointment. "Fine. But, does that mean you two aren't friends anymore?"

Toadette stood up and sighed. "You were right about what you said earlier. A friend has no business smacking their own friend. But, I messed up as well, still. I think it may actually be over between us…"

Everyone regrouped in the lobby shortly after breakfast was over for some of them. Some select people weren't present.

"Alright guys! We all ready to head to the hospital?" Mario asked to the group. Kooper raised his hand to speak.

"Uhh, I'm pretty sure we're missing some people, aren't we? Where's the koopa family and Rosalina?" he asked.

"Oh! I stopped by their room on the way down here. They still need time alone to process through what happened with Wendy and I was basically told to just go on without them and I'll fill them in on the details later today, which is understandable. I don't blame them for not going. As for Rosalina…uhh, Waluigi? Care to help on that one?" Mario asked, putting the spotlight on the slender man.

"Err, uhh, her and I kind of got into it a little while ago. I really don't want to go into the details, though, and I'm pretty sure she's not coming either…" Waluigi shyly admitted.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry, Waluigi! Was it, um, THE argument!?" Lakilulu asked, referring to a break up argument.

"…Like I said, I'd REALLY rather not talk about it now. Please. Let's just focus on visiting Tails," Waluigi demanded, putting his head down so no one sees his eyes get watery.

"But, where is she now!? She didn't wander off into the city like Goombella did, did she!?" Goombario asked in worry.

"I had a feeling something was up earlier. I just saw her in the pool area a few minutes ago, telling her that we're leaving for the hospital but she kept saying to go on without her and that she wasn't feeling well. I'm sorry, Waluigi. Arguments in relationships suck big time!" Pauline said.

"I see. Well, we'll let her know too after we get back. Sorry you're going through that, Waluigi," Mario sympathized.

"And Koops still isn't coming out of his room, so we must go without him too, unfortunately…" Vivian sighed.

"Yeah, thought that was pretty obvious there," Koopie harshly commented.

"Seriously Koopie? Highly unnecessary!" Birdo scowled.

"Alright guys, let's-a go. And don't forget, we still have the bachelor and bachelorette parties to attend tonight!" Mario reminded. The group then exited the hotel and headed towards the train. On the train ride there, not much said within the group. There was an awkward tension rifting throughout and everyone felt compelled to say something about it, but no one was sure exactly how to come out with it. Before they all knew it, the train ride stopped at their destination, and they all got off. They quickly walked into the hospital, found out where Tails' room was and sped towards his room which was a few doors down from Jojora's room.

Luigi entered in first, noticing no doctors nor nurses around so everyone could freely enter.

"Tails! Hey! We heard about what happened from Sally! We came to see how you were doing," he said as everyone surrounded his bed. Tails smiled a little though he looked a little out of it.

"Oh…that's so nice of you guys. Thank you, that means a lot! I hope you guys are doing okay too," Tails said.

"Eh…we're hanging in there the best that we can…" Pauline awkwardly spoke. No one really said anything else and Tails noted the awkward glances people gave to each other.

"Um…okay! So, Sally told you everything that happened with me then?" Tails asked.

"Yeah. We were kind of hoping you managed to remember something else from last night about the attack?" Bombette asked.

Tails shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. I remember everything that I can remember. The person who hit me seriously came out of nowhere. It's like they were waiting for me to show up so they could ambush me!"

"Yeah, it had to have been one of your friends who's been 'infected' that did it. But, it's not your fault though, so don't feel bad! We'll figure out a way to get your friends back to normal and get the gem back!" Vivian said in hope.

"Actually, Tails, we have to talk to you about something else. About the wedding tomorrow, something is definitely happening there besides Amy and Sonic just getting married, right?" Luigi asked.

Tails nodded and looked a little scared. "Yes, I know it in my gut. I don't know what exactly will happen, but you all need to be prepared for the fight of your lives, just to be safe. Sally gave me an update on everything that's been happening with you guys, too. I'm very sorry to hear about what happened to some of your friends."

"Thanks, Tails. We'll figure this all out like we always do," Mario said confidently.

"Good! Now then…I have to ask you guys…did any of you follow a person in a black hoodie to Amy's apartment?" Tails asked. That question threw everyone off, surprising them all based on the info they got from Yoshi, Birdo, and Diddy last night.

"Uhhh…us three did!? But wait, how the hell do you know about THAT!?" Diddy asked in shock.

"Good. That means my plan worked. That person in the black hoodie that you three followed was my friend, Cream the Rabbit. I'm like 99% sure she isn't infected like my other friends are. I concocted a plan to have her lead you to where Amy lives, to figure out more information on what their plan is. Now, I'm not POSITIVE that the plans for what will happen at the wedding are there, but it's worth a try. I had her do this because I was busy still getting the gem and getting it over to you guys, plus, it would be far less suspicious if I had Cream do it just in case she got caught or something, because she's not as involved with the group like I am. It was the safest thing for me to do to lead you guys to her location without me directly coming to you guys and telling you. If I hadn't done that and just went to you guys instead, I still would've been attacked! I was a little paranoid of them watching me, but it looks like I was correct since they ambushed me right before I could give the gem to you guys," Tails explained. Some of them looked impressed, but others looked confused.

"WOW! So…okay…I guess that makes sense! So, Cream led those three to Amy's apartment successfully. But, um, what do you want us to do with that information then?" Daisy asked.

"The bachelor and bachelorette parties are tonight, right? Good. So, I have another plan. I somehow sneak into Amy's purse and grab the keys to her apartment. You three, since you guys know where her place is, go to her apartment and find any information you can on what's gonna happen at the wedding or anything about this weird 'infection' thing," Tails explained.

"Huh. That sounds like another good plan to me! Alright, we'll do it then. Anything to figure out what the hell is going on. You two in?" Birdo asked to the dino and monkey.

"Well, DUH! Infiltrating an evil person's 'lair' sounds like my cup of tea! Let's do it!" Yoshi cheered.

"I'm definitely in. It'll help take my mind off of certain things anyways," Diddy cryptically spoke in an irritated manner.

"Excellent. Looks like we're good to go with the plan then!" Tails cheered.

"But wait, Tails! How are you gonna go to the bachelorette party and get Amy's keys from her purse? You'll still be stuck here for at least another day, right?" Toad asked.

"I'll figure out some way to get out of here, trust me. But, ALL of you have to be on board with this plan in order for it to go perfectly and for all of you to be more prepared for tomorrow!" Tails ordered.

"Don't worry, Tails, we're all going along with the plan! Some of us will have to distract Amy and the others while you get her keys from her purse!" Mario confirmed.

"Wait a second here! I just realized something. Tails…if Cream was the one in the black hoodie last night, leading the three to Amy's apartment, and if someone in a black hoodie attacked you…then wouldn't the most logical conclusion be that Cream got 'infected' somehow and attacked you last night?" Goombario pointed out.

"I've thought about that but…there's just no way that was her! I remember that glimpse of the person in the black hood. He or she seemed slightly taller than Cream! Plus, she just visited me right before you guys came here! She seemed completely normal," Tails assured.

"Plus, remember, Goombario? I threw the black hoodie away last night! So, unless someone was crazy enough to dig in the dumpster for some black hoodie, it had to have been one of them who also just so happen to have a black hoodie and attacked Tails!" Yoshi added.

"Yeah, that's most likely what happened. Look, I wouldn't overthink it, you guys. Just go through with the plan and everything will be fine. I'll be at the hotel around 6pm," Tails instructed. Everyone nodded to this.

Luigi entered Jojora's room. Her head turned to him and she smiled a little.

"Luigi! What are you doing here? I didn't expect you to see me again today…" she said.

"Oh, um, me and the others were actually visiting Tails in the hospital here. One of his 'infected' friends hurt him bad last night while he was delivering us the gem. Didn't get a look at who it was, but now our gem is lost," Luigi gave her the rundown.

Jojora sighed depressingly. "Great. As if things couldn't possibly get any worse…"

"But, don't worry too much! We always find a way to solve these things, don't we? Plus, the wedding is tomorrow and we've got somewhat of a plan going for it, so things could be looking our way if all goes well," Luigi assured.

"I see…that's good, I guess. All of them are gonna get what's coming to them," Jojora said with not much confidence, not even looking at Luigi as she said that. Luigi felt a little awkward.

"Uhh…Jojora, you hanging in there okay? Do you also know when you'll be released?" he asked.

"I was supposed to be released today, but I convinced the doctors to let me stay till tomorrow morning. I feel like a disaster still, Luigi. I feel like I should've died in that shower…it would've made up for what I did to Watt…" Jojora spoke, all choked up as tears ran down her cheeks.

"What? Why would you wanna stay another day here in the hospital? And Jojora…please stop saying that! There's a reason why I found you in the nick of time in that shower! You deserve to live!" Luigi pleaded.

"I wanna stay here longer because I can't bear to face any of the others just yet…knowing that the real secret hasn't been revealed…you should've told them the truth!" Jojora raised her voice.

"What was I supposed to do, Jojora!? I panicked! They asked me what happened and I didn't feel comfortable revealing to them all what actually happened! I was trying to protect YOU!" Luigi said.

"…Fine then. I guess you did what you thought was right. Whatever. You should just go now. I'll be at the hotel first thing in the morning," Jojora brushed him off and turned over on her side. Luigi sighed.

"Jojora…you HAVE to forgive yourself for this. It's the only way to truly move on. Unless…unless you wanna be stuck in that void of self-pitying and darkness for the rest of your life, then keep blaming yourself for something that was just an accident, I guess," he said then left the room. Jojora looked over her shoulder and watched him leave. His words echoed through her mind.

Everyone exited the hospital, all ready to go back…except for one person.

"Hey, guys. I'm gonna do a bit of flying around the city. I need to take my mind off all this for a little bit. It's giving me a headache," Kazooie said.

"Oh! Okay. Um, just make sure you know how to get back to the hotel then," Daisy said.

"Don't worry, I know how. See you guys later," Kazooie said bluntly and flew off.

"I feel so bad for her…losing someone so close. I don't know what I would do if I lost YOU, Mario…" Peach said.

"Well, Peach, Banjo has just been taken somewhere, he's not confirmed to be TRULY lost right now…but that means a lot. I love you," Mario said and kissed her. She smiled and responded, "I love you too, Mario."

Meanwhile, Kazooie soared over the modern city, staring at the various city streets and buildings below. It was beautiful, but it didn't stop her from thinking so much about Banjo. She began to cry a little, wanting her only best friend in the entire group back. Despite what Rouge said earlier about him still being alive, she wanted to be 100% sure that that was the case. She couldn't handle wondering about any "what-if's" or being apart from the one guy she's known her entire life. It was killing her inside, being so lonely despite being around people she'd grown to care about a lot.

As she kept staring below with tears in her eyes, she noticed a peculiar building. It was a glossy, snow-white building with an emerald-colored cross at the very top of the spiral-looking roof.

"Woah! What a gorgeous building! Wait a second, is that where the wedding will take place? Sally said it would happen in a place called Emerald Hill Church!" Kazooie exclaimed in realization. She flew down to where the building was and landed in front. The church was located on a small hill surrounded by a beautiful field of emerald-colored grass, plants, trees, and flowers. Kazooie was astounded by the gorgeous scenery and it took her mind off of her worries temporarily.

"Wow…this place is so serene! This HAS to be the place where they're getting married!" Kazooie said.

"Can I help you?" Blaze asked, appearing from the corner of the church, startling Kazooie a little.

"Oh! You…this is Emerald Hill Church, isn't it?" Kazooie asked somewhat nervously.

"Indeed it is. It's closed right now because we are prepping the wedding for Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose tomorrow, so please…go away!" Blaze snarled. Kazooie leered at her.

"I know exactly who's getting married you little twat! WHERE IS BANJO!?" Kazooie yelled.

Blaze smirked at her. "Now, if I knew where he was…then why the hell would I tell you!?"

Kazooie leaned in. "Because if you don't…I'll kill you myself."

Blaze made a scoff. "Cocky, aren't we? I'm giving you one chance to leave this place right now or else you'll be the one that will end up killed. Quit trying to be bold."

"He's in there somewhere, isn't he? ISN'T HE!?" Kazooie squealed.

"I'm not repeating myself! LEAVE!" Blaze hissed.

Kazooie calmed herself down. "…Fine. I'll go." Kazooie turned around and slowly walked away from her. Blaze smirked in victory. But, that smirk quickly went away when she saw Kazooie stop in her tracks. She quickly turned back around and yelled to Blaze, "I WANT BANJO BACK, YOU MOTHERFUCKING BITCH!" She then released a grenade egg from her mouth. Blaze screamed and ducked. The grenade egg smashed into one of the windows of the church, completely destroying the glass.

"THAT'S IT! I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!" Blaze roared and leaped towards Kazooie. She swiped at her arm, leaving claw-like marks. Kazooie screeched and quickly flew away to safety.

Rosalina exited the hotel via the parking garage so Sally wouldn't spot her leaving. She needed a walk to clear her mind from her horrible breakup with Waluigi earlier.

Rosalina walked onto the beach and just aimlessly kept going forward on the sand. She hung her head, sniffling in despair.

"I'm such a fool…my first ever true love and I blew it…how can I be meant for such things if I'm messing things up this early? What on earth was I even thinking, using that spell to mess with Waluigi's mind? God…he DID have all of the right in the world to be so hurt and upset with me…" she said to herself while occasionally kicking the sand.

"Hey Miss, are you okay?" spoke a female voice.

She looked up and saw a woman with peach-colored fur and cobalt eyes that looked slightly similar in appearance to Knuckles the Echidna.

"Oh! Um…I'm fine…I just really wanna be alone right now, please…" Rosalina said.

"Your aura says otherwise. It's so gray and it's calling out for help. I feel the pain coming from so far away and I just had to seek you out to potentially help one who is as gifted from birth as I am. My name is Tikal," she said sweetly. Rosalina perked up at this.

"Woah. Y-You have magical abilities too? I…yes, you're not lying. Your aura is so vibrant and colorful. My name is Rosalina. To explain my damaged aura, I'm just incredibly upset at myself right now. I ruined the one relationship I've ever had in my entire life and the pain I'm feeling is unbearable! I want it all to end SO bad, but…I don't know of a spell to end these horrid feelings…yet, at the same time, using spells for every little thing was what got me in trouble in the first place," Rosalina explained as more tears let out.

"Oh, my dear, I am very sorry to hear that. Heartbreak is a dreadful and agonizing experience that I would never wish on anyone, not even my worst enemy. And, it is very much natural for you to get rid of those feelings of emotional pain via magic. I know how to help you, my dear. Would you like me to show you? Would you like me to regain the strength and color of your aura and rid that emotional pain?" Tikal asked so helpfully and sweetly it made Rosalina want to say yes so badly, especially since she so desperately wanted the pain to go away.

But, something made her want to say no. She thought very deep into it and it was the fact that every single person her and her friends have encountered so far in this world besides Sally, Tails, and Vector have been 'infected' with some evil virus. She couldn't take the chances.

"Oh…um…thank you for the very generous offer, Tikal, but I'm gonna have to say no. My boyfriend, Waluigi, was right when he said that I'm using magic to my liking. I can't rely on magic for everything bad that happens in my life. If I'm as strong as I would like to be, then I must resist taking the easy way out. I'm sorry," Rosalina explained. She quickly started walking forward but Tikal grabbed her hand, which stopped her.

"Wait, Rosalina! Listen to me here. Wanting to erase the emotional pain isn't taking the easy way out. You know what you did wrong and that's enough. No sane person wants to go through all that pain and have it distract you from your mission to save your world! It's a tough barrier that takes too much time to get through!" Tikal exclaimed somewhat urgently. Rosalina gave her a suspicious look.

"Hold on a second. I NEVER said I was on a mission to save my world," she said. Tikal slowly made a smirk.

"Whoops," was all she spoke before she quickly stabbed Rosalina in the arm with a large syringe.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! STOP IT!" Rosalina screamed and blew Tikal away from her. Rosalina fell onto the sand and screeched in pain.

"O-Oh god! NO! NOOOOOOO! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!?" she yelled and began to sweat all over.

Tikal got up and walked back over to her. "Hahaha! Excellent. I seemed to have injected just enough of the virus into you so you will be just like one of us. This had to have been destiny's doing! Rosalina…I truly do have powers like you, that we discussed earlier. It couldn't have been a coincidence that you were walking out here, moping in heartbreak, and I felt your agony that I just had to take my chance to get you on our side. But, I did it! We have a witch that's more powerful than me on our team! This will definitely better our chances of our plans succeeding!"

Rosalina moved around on the ground as if she was having a seizure. "UGGGGHHHH! BUT…YOUR AURA…HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT YOU WERE EVIL!?"

"You must be off your game, sweetheart! Hell, how have you not noticed any of the other's auras being off, anyways!? Maybe you're just too weak! But, maybe this is a good thing, Rosalina. You'll be completely turned any second now and your powers will undoubtedly become stronger! Besides, let's face it, people like us that have these supernatural powers, we were NEVER meant to use them purely for good! We were born to use our powers to cause destruction and help evil reign!" Tikal said in excitement while watching Rosalina slowly fade away.

Rosalina stopped moving for a few seconds. She then slowly stood herself up and faced Tikal. Rosalina clenched her fists and stared at Tikal dead into her eyes.

"Tikal…you're right. We WERE born to cause mayhem, and I am beyond ready to begin to do what I was created for," Rosalina spoke in a deeper and more menacing voice. Tikal grinned in joy and victory at this.

"Wendy…I am so sorry for ever making you agree to that decision of keeping your rape a secret from everyone, and I'm sorry to you guys, too, for keeping it from you. I-I don't know what the hell I was doing…" Larry apologized while holding back from sobbing any more. He and his family were in their hotel room.

"You were being selfish, that's what you were doing! You were using what happened to Wendy for your own sake and didn't even think to tell us immediately in the first place!" Bowser yelled.

"Yeah! Larry, just what the hell were you thinking, holding out on us like that? Aren't we your family!?" Kammy choked up then immediately stopped talking as soon as she said that. Bowser looked at her oddly when she did that. "I…I…mean that…these guys are your family, so you should've told them as soon as you knew too…"

"Why do you say it like that, Kammy? You ARE a part of the family! You've been with us for so many years! Yeah, you may not be related to us, but you've taken care of us all this time!" Bowser Jr. said. Kammy's heart felt a little warmed from that.

Wendy wiped her eyes with more tissues then looked at Kammy. "He's right. You're better at doing your job than Clawdia ever was."

Awkward silence ensued after that. The topic of Clawdia hasn't been brought up with the kids in years.

"Oh. Um, d-dad, I'm sorry…I shouldn't have brought that up aga-"

"Don't be sorry. Clawdia was a deceiver. Kammy has done a better job at caring for you guys than Clawdia ever will," Bowser interjected. Kammy showed a tearful smile at that.

"Th-thank you, Bowser…but, um, we must get back to the issue at hand here. Wendy, the second we see Shadow, we WILL take him down, okay? We won't let him get away with what he did to you!" Kammy said.

"Even if that means killing him? Even if that means not returning Shadow back to his normal self?" Wendy asked. Despite being traumatized from the experience, she still didn't want Shadow to be killed, because that technically wasn't "him" who did that to her.

"Wow. You know, I didn't even think about that. How are we supposed to get our revenge on someone, when they had no control over what they did? Would it even be considered actual revenge to kill Shadow then?" Bowser Jr. asked.

"I have an idea," Bowser spoke. "If we're able to find a way to 'cure' those guys from whatever they've been infected with, then we'll kill the person who started the 'infection' as our revenge. If we're unable to find a cure…then we kill Shadow and the rest of those goons, which will justify our revenge. Clear?"

Silence ensued again. Bowser Jr. looked somewhat horrified.

"W-wait a second. Are we really doing this right now? Plotting to kill people? This seems so wrong and bizarre!" he exclaimed.

"Seriously, Bowser Jr.? What the hell do you expect? Shadow crossed a line that he can't come back from! Hell, they ALL did when they infected DK and nearly killed Jojora and Tails! Besides, if we can't cure them, then we can't risk them running out into the world and causing havoc to other innocent people! I know this isn't our own world, but it just feels so wrong to leave those guys here as they are!" Larry yelled, becoming angry again.

"Larry's right. We're too far in this to let this go now. We can't let them get away with what they've done! The Koopa family never lets business go unfinished," Bowser stated.

"I guess you're right. There is no other way, is there? Well…okay, I'm in then. I'll help however I can too," Bowser Jr. agreed.

"Thank you guys for being here with me. I just can't get what happened out of my head, no matter how hard I try! I really thought I was gonna die in that moment…that bastard took advantage of me…I want him to know what it feels like, to be so scared and defenseless…" Wendy clenched her fists and looked more serious and determined than ever before.

Bowser sat on the bed next to her and hugged her. Larry joined in on the hug, then Bowser Jr., then Kammy. Wendy's anger slightly subsided due to the warmth and protection from her own family. For once in a long time, she felt loved and secure.

Larry slowly broke off the hug and faced everyone else with an expression of worry. "Wait, I just realized something. If we're not able to cure Sonic and his friends of the infection…then that means we must kill all of them…including DK…"

Mona sat on the bed in her room, staring at the bottle of pills that she took yesterday.

"I wonder…will taking the pills help me remember what the hell happened last night? I was still under the influence of them when I jumped out the window and ran into those woods. I need to know what the hell I got myself into, and why some of Shadow's fur was next to me when I woke up," Mona said to herself. She wanted to give it a try, but she definitely did not want to deal with any more scary hallucinations. The last one almost got her killed.

"Fuck! This is so hard. Ugh…well…if it's the only way…" she sighed and reluctantly grabbed the bottle, opened it, grabbed a pill, and popped one in her mouth. She swallowed it and braced for the side effects to happen.

"Last time I took two…maybe it won't be as bad if I just take one…" she said and set the bottle back down. She sighed again and lied down her bed.

"And now we wait," she spoke, and then closed her eyes. She became nervous, knowing anything could happen with these dangerous pills.

Minutes went by and nothing was happening. Mona opened her eyes and sighed in frustration.

"Come on! You were working super quick last time! Ugh…I may have to take another pill then," Mona grunted. Before she even touched the bottle, she whipped her head to the right and screamed when she saw Shadow standing before her.

"YOU! No…remember, this isn't real! YOU'RE NOT REAL!" Mona screeched.

Shadow made a loud growl and then leaped toward Mona onto the bed. Mona screamed again and fell off the bed. She looked back up and saw nothing but grass and dark woods ahead of her.

"WH-WHAT THE HELL!? Ugh, not this shit again! Wait…no, I'm starting to remember from last night!" Mona gasped in excitement.

Mona stood up and ran through the woods, screaming in fear from what she just witnesses in her hotel room, ignoring all the glass cuts on her skin and the pain from landing from a great height. She kept running and running until someone running crashed into her.

"YOW! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" Mona screamed.

"I am. This isn't a coincidence that I found you right here, right now," Shadow spoke with a chuckle.

"What do you mean!?" Mona nervously asked.

"I mean…we've been watching all of you. You, running into these woods all by yourself…completely isolated from everyone else…the perfect opportunity to do something very naughty…" Shadow chuckled again.

"S-stop! Get the fuck away from me!" Mona yelled and tried to run away from him but Shadow knocked her down again on her stomach.

"Hold still now! This will only hurt for just a second!" Shadow said as he got out a syringe to infect Mona with the virus. Mona suddenly reached out, grabbed Shadow's fur on his chest area, and ripped out a bunch of his fur.

"AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!" Shadow roared in immense pain and dropped the syringe. Mona then punched him in the face and pushed him off her. She then ran away, still unknowingly holding his fur, and went deeper into the woods. She looked back and saw Shadow run off in a different direction.

Mona made a long blink. She was on the floor of her room again. She got back up and slowly turned around. No Shadow present.

"Woah…so…that was what happened then…so weird! To think I almost got infected like DK…god! How horrible! But, this gives me an idea. Shadow had that syringe in his hand with that virus in it. If that syringe is still in the woods, maybe we can somehow use that to figure out a way to reverse the infection maybe? Perhaps Rosalina or Kammy could do some magic to it and make it cure everyone!?" Mona thought this plan out loud with excitement. She decided to take the chance and exited her hotel room to go back out into those woods.

Waluigi returned to his hotel room after getting back from the hospital with the others. He saw Rosalina standing by the bed, looking at him oddly, as if she was waiting for him to come back for a long while.

"Oh! Rosalina! Uhh, me and the others just got back from the hospital. Good thing I found you here. I'll update you on what we just found out," Waluigi nervously spoke and felt a little awkward from what happened earlier.

"Actually, Waluigi, we really need to talk about us, instead. We can't avoid the subject forever," Rosalina said in a serious tone.

Waluigi sighed and slowly walked to her. "I see. Well…I'm not really sure what you want me to say, Rosalina. I meant what I said earlier. I'm still hurt from what you did. I honestly think this is too soon for us to talk!"

Rosalina rolled her eyes. "Pfft. Typical. You never took me seriously, did you?"

"What? Why would you say that!? Rosalina, you're the first woman I've ever loved! I…I'm still in love with you, too! But, I just need space at the moment. Okay? I promise you, I'm not gonna be mad forever…but you understand why I said the things I said earlier, right?" Waluigi asked.

"No. No! I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND! Look at you…Waluigi, you're nothing but a woman. Wanting "space"…feeling "hurt"…where was the man that I fell in love with? The man that didn't give a shit about anything and acted all edgy!? You are pathetic," Rosalina angrily stated. This shocked Waluigi. He never thought he would ever hear such harsh words come from Rosalina's mouth.

"Wh-what the hell!? Rosalina! Why are you being this way!? Why do you keep trying to hurt me!? Don't you love me!?" he yelled as tears formed in his eyes.

"I've never loved you, Waluigi. I thought I did, but I don't. I just felt sorry for you because no woman in this whole galaxy would ever want to be with you. I did you a favor by losing your virginity to me so now you can proudly boast to the whole world that I let you give it up to me like the cocky bastard you are!" Rosalina raised her voice with anger in her eyes. Waluigi felt like he should've been raging at this, but instead, he just felt so much hurt and devastation from her words that he felt like his heart was stomped on repeatedly.

"R-Rosalina, JUST STOP! PLEASE STOP FUCKING DOING THIS! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? IS THIS REVENGE FOR WHAT I SAID TO YOU EARLIER!? I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHERE THE HELL THIS IS ALL COMING FROM!" he cried.

Rosalina laughed at him a little. "You should be thankful I even stuck around after our first time together. You know exactly where this is coming from, Waluigi."

Waluigi dropped his jaw a bit. "O-Our first time!? Wait…a-are you saying that I wasn't…'good enough'?"

Rosalina laughed again. "I'm gonna go for a walk. Please, for the love of God, don't follow me. I've had enough of you." She then lightly pushed him aside as she exited, with Waluigi still standing there in shock. He quickly turned around just as she opened the door.

"ROSALINA! I-I love you!" he shouted.

Rosalina made no response and shut the door. Waluigi was confused, devastated, and pissed off all at once. He never had someone so close to him hurt him like that before in his life. The emotional pain reverberated throughout his entire body. He dropped his body to the bed and cried into the blankets. His heart was torn in half by the only woman he had ever loved and the only woman he imagined being in his life for the long run.

Rosalina walked into the lobby and saw Mario and Luigi talking to Sally. Luigi noticed her and ran to her.

"Hey, Rosalina! Are you doing okay? We heard about what happened with Waluigi earlier…" Luigi said.

Rosalina, with her mind, threw Luigi onto a table with a couple vases on it. Everyone in the surrounding area shrieked at this.

"ROSALINA! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE-" Mario was about to go off on her until Rosalina threw everyone else near her up against the wall, which shook the entire lobby, making various antiques and light fixtures fall and crash to the ground. More screaming was heard as Rosalina exited the hotel without a care in the world.
