Coco: Hello, hello! Tis I Coco and I'm back with another chapter for One Piece since it's still dominating my mind as of late...Sorry to my other stories. I know I'm neglecting you DX

Any who, this will be the last chapter of the filler arc with Zenny and his loveable goats. You ready to get started? You are? Well, then let's get into it!

Wren sat next to Robin at the table while watching the others laugh and enjoy themselves as they ate. Many fae were with them and enjoying themselves as well as Sanji made sure they got their fill.

"Gramps, you really are just like a pirate," Nami said after refilling his cup. "You sure drink like one."

Zenny, who took a long swig from his glass, laughed as he turned to the navigator.

"Nami, do you think that I'm a pirate?" Zenny asked.

"Well, it would explain how you can afford to have such exquisite glassware, right?" Nami replied.

Robin appraised said glassware as the wine glass in her hand did look as if it was made of crystals.

"It does look like it's from a treasure-trove," Robin commented.

It was shiny to say the least. Wren's glass appeared to be made of silver and it had green gems along the rip. She never really understood why humans thought it a good idea to decorate their eating and drinking utensils in such a way. Why did something you drink from have to be so sparkly?

"I see," Usopp spoke up as Nami poured Zenny more wine. "You're trying to get the old man drunk, so you can make him tell you where he keeps the treasure? Is that it?"

Nami turned to frown at the sniper as Wren chuckled. Well, if that was the plan, Usopp just basically ruined it.

"Well, don't spell it out for him!" Nami hissed.

Usopp pouted at being scolded as Luffy, who was eating a large chunk of fish, turned to Zenny.

"So, old goat man, do you have a hidden treasure?" Luffy asked. "Huh?"

He then proceeded to shove that entire chunk of fish into his mouth as Nami looked even more frustrated.

"Didn't I just ask you guys to keep your mouths shut?" Nami demanded. "The least you can have is a little respect for the process!"

"You really wanna know?" Zenny asked.

Nami, who forgot all about her idiot crewmates, turned to Zenny while nodding her head.

"My treasure is what I've shared all joys and sorrows with," Zenny said. "My beloved goats."

Said goats bleated back at Zenny while looking as if they were actually smiling.

"What a beautiful story," Luffy sniffled.

Zenny just laughed saying he was joking, which had Nami leaning towards him.

"Oh, come on, Gramps," Nami said. "Please, tell me."

Wren shook her head while finding amusement in how sweet Nami could be when she really wanted to be.

"Okay, you asked for it." Zenny said. "Out of all the great pirates who have sailed the Grand Line, I was known as…the only money lender who would do business with them."

Wren's brow quirked at that. Though the old man being a money lender made more sense than him being a pirate. He always had that abacus with him. He could calculate money at an impressive rate and he disliked pirates.

"Money lender?" Luffy repeated.

"I'm Zenny the Money Lender." He said. "Not Zenny the Pirate."

Nami's expression fell at this news because she had been so certain he had to be a pirate.

"You are?" She questioned.

"Well, that's too bad, huh, Nami?" Usopp asked.

Nami gave the sniper a look as the boy had a large amused grin stretching across his face.

"He may not be an actual pirate, but it must have taken a lot of brass to lend money to them," Sanji said. "Right, old man?"

"Why is that?" Luffy asked.

"Hey, use your head," Usopp scolded. "Do you think most pirates are gonna take out a loan and then pay it back with a smile? Not to mention all the interest."

Luffy frowned still not seeming to get it, but Usopp decided not to explain it any further.

"Your friend is right," Zenny said. "Every one of those seafaring serpents tried to bilk me out of my money. They all broke their word. Went back on their contracts and did their best to betray me when it finally came time to collect."

"Wow, Gramps, I guess it's true." Nami said. "You really do hate pirates."

Not that she could blame him. Not many pirates were like their crew. She knew how vicious and deceitful they could be.

"If I had just sat back and taken it from them, my business would have been wiped out in no time at all." Zenny said. "Every time I went out to collect a debt, I had to fight against pirates at the risk of my own life."

"It certainly is a tedious task trying to get money from them," Wren said with a sigh. "Especially when they decide to use violence to try and get themselves out of their deals."

—FLASHBACK—

"They refuse to pay?" Wren repeated the report given to her by Gladius. "And we were so kind to extend their deadline. Pity."

"I'm going to explode that stupid hat off his head!" Gladius said. "His brains will paint the walls."

Wren motioned for the man to try and calm down because she'd rather not have the explosions start now. She then stood up from her seat while grabbing her sword to place in her holster.

"Let's see if we can handle things without too much blood this time," Wren said as she also grabbed her mask to place over her face. "My favorite pair of boots are still ruined with blood. Not even Baby 5 could get it off."

"But, Corazon, that bastard Gelatino needs to pay!" Gladius said. "We'll make an example out of him!"

Wren just sighed because she'd rather not go through all the trouble. The two then left the lounge Wren had been waiting for Gladius in to find Gelatino and his men at their usual stomping ground. Once they stepped outside the bar, Wren could feel at least four dozen or so people inside.

Nothing they couldn't handle, but it would certainly leave a mess behind. Wren stepped up to the door and pushed it open. As soon as she poked her head in, a gun was fired with the bullet grazing across Wren's arm to draw blood. Wren sighed looking more annoyed than scared.

"I was hoping we could handle things civilly, Gelatino-san," Wren said as she stepped fully inside the bar. "I will ignore that assault just now if you pay what's owed in addition to the late fee and we'll add another 50 million as compensation for the blood your man just drew from me. That seems like a fair trade."

"Like hell I'd pay that!" Gelatino snapped. "Go to hell, Donquixote trash! Fire, men!"

His men prepared to fire with Wren simply turning to Gladius who was stepping into the bar behind her.

"Gladius, you may proceed with that paint job you mentioned," Wren said to the easily angered man.

Gladius didn't have to be told twice as he jumped forward to do exactly what he said he was going to do. As the first explosion went off things became chaotic as Gelatino's men tried to fight back. Blood flew like Gladius said it would and when some fell on Wren's shoes, her brow twitched.

"Not again," She complained.

—END OF FLASHBACK—

Wren frowned just thinking about those poor shoes. It was like she was cursed to the point she wasn't allowed to have cute footwear.

"Hmm, by the sounds of it, you know what it's like personally, missy," Zenny said. "Does your crew lend money to other pirates?"

"My former crew have a lot of on the side business," Wren said. "I was in charge of handling a lot of those transactions, so I can relate with you a little, Zenny-san. It didn't happen often, but when some of our business associates didn't want to way, they didn't play around when trying to keep their money."

"You can say that again," Zenny said. "I lost count on how many times I've gotten into fights with pirates."

Wren could only imagine. The old man certainly had some gumption to stay in the money lending business with pirates. Once the family had gotten well known, not many people wanted to cross them. Most of the money disputes with rival groups happened when Wren was younger.

"So, in order to stay in business, you'd have to be stronger than any of them, wouldn't you?" Zoro asked.

"Were you strong like that, old goat man?" Luffy asked.

"Hell no," Zenny said. "I was weaker than a kitten, but back in those days, I had a dream."

His young guests looked at him curiously as he took another long swig from his drink.

"I may have been weak, but back then I had a dream to fight for and fight for it I did." Zenny said. "No matter what the risk."

"What was your dream exactly?" Usopp asked.

"Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted the be a pirate." Zenny said. "A real pirate! The King of Pirates!"

He drank more of his wine as pirate and fae alike continued to listen tell his story.

"That's why I first got started in the money lending business." Zenny said. "But instead of realizing my dream, I ended up getting ambushed by a bunch of pirates out for revenge and marooned on this deserted island fighting for my survival. That was twenty years ago."

Marooned or not, Wren doesn't think she'd mind living on an island like this. It was peaceful here with no one else around to bother you. Just some sweet neighbors and cute goats to keep you company and the resources you need to survive. Didn't so bad to her.

"Are you telling me that you've been making your grave that whole twenty years?" Sanji asked.

"At first I planned to build that ship near the sea," Zenny said. "But I realized rather quickly that hauling the lumber down from the mountain was too much. But I wasn't going to give up over a little thing like that. Instead, I built it in the mountains. It was going to be a great adventure, but somewhere along the way I wised up. Before I knew it, I was too old to set sail for the Grand Line. It's funny how time can sneak up on you like that. So much for my dreams of being a pirate. Well, dreams are just dreams."

He gave a laugh to lighten the mood, but Nami looked at the man sympathetically as she knew it had to bother him. She couldn't image having to give up her dream.

"I don't understand why you gave up, old goat man," Luffy said over the food in his mouth. "Age doesn't have anything to do with it. If you wanna be a pirate you should just do it."

He then proceeded to shove more food in his mouth as Wren gave him a look. His manners were just as bad as his older brother's, and it was irking her.

"He has a point," Wren said. "The oldest member of the crew I had once been a part of is sixty-eight years of age."

"And compared to me, you're a spring chicken," Havel added. "I'm…well, I lost count in the 400s but even that was a long time ago."

Chopper gawked at the feline since he had no idea Havel was so old. Cat didn't even had strand of gray on him.

"Now hold on, you three," Usopp said. "What are we gonna do if he starts taking you seriously? Remember a pirate needs a ship, and this guy's ship is a coffin sitting up halfway up the side of the mountain!"

Luffy, who had gotten more fish from Sanji to munch on, turned to look at Usopp.

"Then all we have to do is haul it down, right?" Luffy asked.

"Don't say that like it's gonna be easy!" Usopp snapped. "And don't you add anything!"

He pointed to Wren, who had opened her mouth, so the halfling just held up her hands in a placid manner and closed her mouth.

"That's true," Zenny murmured. "There's still time."

"I warned you!" Usopp said to Luffy and Wren. "He's taking you two seriously!"

"Nonsense," Nami said then leaned against Zenny. "He's just a little bit drunk, aren't you?"

She asked this with an amused smile and Zenny, who had finished off more wine, laughed.

"That's right," Zenny said. "I'm drunk, honey. Hahaha! This Straw-hatted kid has got me absolutely intoxicated and not just with wine. So, here's looking forward to the day when the Zenny Pirates finally set sail!"

He raised his glass with the others laughing and raising their glasses as well as Wren shook her head in amusement. This old man was certainly entertaining at least.

Wren sat in the field by the stream as her sword was resting in the water. The undines were swimming around it and embedding their magic into the blade. Cleansing it and blessing it for Wren. It had a light glow to it as they worked. They had insisted on gifting the halfling by placing their own magic into the blade before she left with the others.

She figured today would be the day they set sail, so she came to the stream before first light to say her goodbyes to the fae. Mostly the undines since they have been so kind to her. And Usa-chan, of course, too. Though he was back at Zenny's home and sleeping in between Luffy and Usopp. The púca has definitely taken a lighting to the pirates. Next to Wren, Havel let out a yawn as he stretched out his body all the way down to the tip of his tail.

"I wonder when the others are going to get up." Havel said. "The sun has risen already. I can't believe I'm saying this considering I hate water, but I'm ready to head to sea again."

Wren could share that sentiment. She was used to staying in one place for periods of time considering she lived on Dressrosa for the longest time. However, she was ready to move onto the next island.

"They should be up soon," Wren said. "However, Luffy might decide to stay longer for all we know."

Havel grumbled not wanting to stick around because that old man kept using him to catch mice. He shuddered just thinking about it. He and Wren then perked up when hearing unrecognizable voices and people moving around not far from them. Wren frowned wondering who else came to this island. The most likely answer was the marines.

"It seems as if trouble might have caught up with us," Wren said as the footsteps got closer. "Havel."

The feline climbed into her lap and Wren quickly cast a cloaking spell over the both of them. Soon marines came through the foliage, and they weren't alone as they had Usopp as a hostage.

"I thought I saw someone here through the trees," One of the men said. "A woman."

Wren narrowed her eyes at the marines while staying completely still. She didn't want to alert them of her presence just yet. She motioned for Havel to crouch low and go around and the feline nodded. He left her lap thus leaving her cloaking spell. However, he stayed low with the marines not seeing him thanks to the tall grass.

"You were probably just seeing things." Another one said. "Come on, one Straw Hat as a hostage will be enough to make the rest of them cooperate."

They turned to leave. However, all froze when Havel, who grew into his larger form, stalked towards them with a snarl leaving between his teeth.

"What the hell is this thing?!" One of the marines shouted.

Havel just hissed at them as he barred his teeth threateningly, which had them flinching.

"That, gentlemen, happens to be a cat sithe. Though gentle by nature…they can be very vicious as well."

The marines whirled around and Usopp looked even more relieved when seeing Wren, who had gotten her sword from the stream, standing there.

"Now, if you would release my friend, I would greatly appreciate it." Wren said. "Refuse…and well, I won't be having to feed Havel for a while."

The marines paled as they glanced back at Havel who licked his chops. It didn't take long for the marines to drop their weapons and surrender, and Usopp took no time to run behind Wren for safety. Wren looked to Havel who moved all the weapons safely away from the marines. Her attention then returned to the marines.

"Now, sit." Wren ordered as she pointed towards the ground.

There was some grumbling involved between them, but the marines did as they were told. Once they were seated, Wren looked to her crewmate.

"Usopp, care to explain what is going on?" Wren asked.

"Some marines came to the island." Usopp said. "Some guy named Minchey told us he was going to let us go if we just let them survey the island. It all seemed fishy, but I came to get our things. Not to mention you, Havel, and Robin. But then those marines jumped me. The others are down at the beach. I'm sure those marines have some other kind of trap set up for them. So, we need to hurry back."

Wren, who sheathed her rapier, hummed in understanding before looking back to where some of the fae were peeking at the scene curiously.

"I'm afraid this is where we say our goodbyes." Wren said. "Thank you all for taking care of us during our stay."

"Yeah, thanks!" Usopp added with a smile. "We won't forget you guys."

The fae smiled and waved at the pirates as the marines gapped at the sight of them; never having seen such a sight.

"Let's get moving then." Wren said. "Havel, please herd the marines along. I'd hate for one of them to get the foolish idea to try anything."

Havel did as he was asked with the marines quickly moving along. Flinching even when the cat sithe got to close for comfort.

"The marines thought they could spring a trap on us." Wren said. "Let us turn the tables, shall we?"

Sanji frowned as he and the others prepared to fight this Minchey guy and his men. They were definitely in a pickle considering the fleet of marine ships just waiting for them. Even if they did take down Minchey, their fight wouldn't be easy.

"Usa-chan, you should probably head back into the forest." Nami told the small puca. "Things are about to get crazy here."

Usa-chan frowned. Obviously not wanting to leave behind the pirates as they've become his friends. However, something seemed to catch his attention as he turned his head towards the path leading up into the forest. The others looked as well seeing Wren walking down the hill.

"Well, well," Wren said as she was twirling a marine cap around her finger. "More guests. I hope you're better mannered than the ones I just ran into."

"Wren!" Luffy and Chopper exclaimed.

Behind them, Minchey lost all color in his face as Wren carelessly threw the cap in front of her onto the ground.

"There were more marines, huh?" Zoro asked as he turned to look at Minchey with a glare. "A landing party we didn't know about. That's it. Bring it on."

He placed his sword into his mouth while drawing his other two swords as well.

"W-wait, it's just a misunderstanding!" Minchey tried.

"So, your men roughly apprehending our sniper was a misunderstanding?" Wren questioned. "If I hadn't handled them, who knows what they would have done with Usopp. Now, I suggest you stop trying to deceive us and take your men before I decide not to be so kind."

She stepped to the side as Havel was herding the marines down the hill with Usopp on his back.

"Usopp, are you okay?" Nami asked.

"Yeah, I am thanks to Wren and Havel," Usopp replied.

"Wren, my sweet, you're so amazing~" Sanji swooned. "We can always count on you."

Minchey's jaw just clenched as he realized the situation is getting far out of hand. He wasn't sure if he could salvage this situation. Though he did have one more card to play. As Wren was telling Usa-chan to head back to the others, Minchey motioned to one of the men behind him. They looked unsure but passed along the silent signal to the cannoneer. A second later the cannon fired and its target…

"Wren!" Sanji called in worry.

Wren acted quickly as she drew her rapier. Zoro and the others watched with the swordsman's eyes widening when he saw Wren didn't cut the cannonball but use her blade to gently dance the large object off the flat end of the blade before redirecting it towards the air above. It exploded above them as the marines on the beach and Straw Hats flinched away from the explosion. Wren looked to Minchey as his eyes widened.

"Would you like to try that again?" Wren asked with her expression turning dark. "Though I warn you, if you don't manage to kill me during your second attemt, I will make you regret it."

Though before she could do anything, everyone was distracted by a loud noise coming from above. Everyone looked up towards the mountain to see Zenny's pirate ship coming down the sheer side of the mountain towards the sea.

"Drop sail!" Zenny ordered as Minchey exclaimed his surprise. "Zenny Pirates attack! Hit them hard!"

"Old goat man!" Luffy cheered.

As Zenny's ship hit the water, Wren sighed as she cupped her cheek in her hand.

"This can't possibly go well," She said as Chopper was fretting over Zenny.

The old man seemed fine, however, as he was cheering alongside the goats over their success of finally becoming pirates. Wren was happy he was getting to live his dream and all, but he picked a bad time to do so.

"Yay, old goat man!" Luffy celebrated.

"We told you don't encourage him!" The others scolded him.

"He's a sick old man!" Chopper added.

Wren just shook her head as she was wondering if she'd just head back to the ship. This was all a bit too ridiculous for her. As Usopp told the old man to be careful and that the marines were here for his treasure, Havel, who decided the marines on the beach weren't much of a danger anymore, went over to Wren's side. He too looked very done with the entire situation.

"Call me when or if things actually become dangerous," Wren said as she started heading back to the ship with her familiar. "I don't have the patience for this nonsense."

Zoro sweat-dropped though guessed he could see where she was coming from. This situation was pretty ridiculous.

"Nami, go with her and bring the ship around." Zoro said.

"I'm on it," Nami said. "Come on!"

She said this to Sanji, who didn't like Zoro giving orders, Chopper, and Usopp with the three following after the navigator quickly.

"Sergeant Minchey, the Straw Hats are up to something!" The Corporal called out. "Call Captain Moore for backup!"

"Shut-up!" Minchey ordered then shot at his fellow marine.

Everyone paused to look between the two in surprise. Even Wren's brow rose in mild shock. Though she supposed she actually shouldn't be surprised. This Minchey was obviously a greedy person. They tend to do whatever it takes to get what they want. Even hurting people meant to be their allies.

"I told you that you'd get your cut of the treasure, didn't I?" Minchey asked the corporal. "Keep your mouth shut. We can't let the captain know what's going on."

Wren shook her head at the man as Zenny sat on his ship using his abacus to do some figurations.

"Yes…I figure you must be paying your men off to take on this side project," Zenny said then grinned mockingly up at Minchey. "That must cost you a pretty penny, eh, Sergeant?"

Minchey growled in anger towards the old man as he was quickly becoming annoyed with the situation.

"You smelly old coot." Minchey said. "You're going to pay for this if I—!"

"Shut your stinking mouth!" Zenny snapped shutting the younger man right up. "A worm like you has got a lot of nerve thinking you can swipe my treasure. Come and take it from me if you can!"

He laughed as he crossed his arms in a defiant manner. Though Wren, who could see Luffy had grabbed onto his ship, had a feeling Zenny wouldn't feeling so cocky here in a few seconds. She was proven right as Luffy helpfully got Zenny into a fight with the marines by slinging both ships together, which sent both ships sailing to the other end of the bay where they crashed into a large rock.

"Moron!" The others—besides Wren and Zoro—shouted at Luffy.

Luffy just grinned thinking it'd be good for the old man to get into a fight with marines like a real pirate. However, his grin dropped when Zoro pointed out something very important.

"Does he have any weapons?" Zoro asked. "Because I don't think he does."

The two then watched as Zenny challenged the marines with his abacus and his herd of goats.

"Oh, he's got his abacus," Zoro said.

"…and the goats." Luffy said before gasping. "Ahhh, hang on, old man! I'm coming!"

Luffy stretched out his arms to go after the old man to help him out. However, his rescue mission went south as he soon needed the saving after falling into the sea. Wren watched all of this happen as the others were preparing the ship to leave.

"How do we even find ourselves in these situations?" Wren questioned. "I suppose if I want to put all of this behind me, I need to start sinking some ships."

She looked at the fleet still waiting to attack. Leaving that ship with that greedy Minchey to the others shouldn't be a problem. However, once all that is over, they'd still have a bigger problem to deal with.

"Nami," Wren called getting the navigator's attention. "I will be back shortly. I have a few pests I need to take care of. I do not appear to be needed here anyway."

Nami blinked looking confused, but before she could ask, Wren disappeared in a blink. Havel jumped onto the railing to watch as an explosion came from one of the awaiting marine ships.

"Hmm, she must really be annoyed," He commented casually.
