Clem gives the guilt ridden soldier a sigh, looking her in the eyes. "I can't just forgive you now. Not when you've done nothing to prove you'll never hurt me or my group again. If you want my friendship, you'll have to prove you're worth trusting first."
Bonnie gives a brief chuckle, glancing at Luke. "Where'd you find this one? She's so sharp."
"In the middle of the woods, starving. They're survivors, her especially." Luke answers.
She looks back at Clem and smacks her lips together. "I don't doubt it. And I'll try. I swear to you I'll never hurt you or your group again."
Obviously, Clem has her doubts, but it's an inoffensive enough thing to say that she decides to just continue reloading magazines, for now.
Bonnie's radio clicks and Tavia's voice comes on. "Hey, Bonnie, is Clem still there with you?"
She picks up the radio. "Yup."
"Great, I'll be right there." Just like that, her voice disappears. Clem looks at Luke, asking about six different questions with her eyes. He shrugs.
"Sounds like Tavia's coming down for you." Bonnie says.
"Great. More of his people." Clem says with a roll of her eyes.
"You slept in a bed, brushed your teeth and got to relax for a night because of him." The pale skinned woman tries to argue. Luke sighs.
"And I got to be in his prison for the night, freezing my ass off while worrying about my people. Quit defending him." The three stay silent and continue working, Bonnie opening her mouth to talk back only to have the door open. Tavia comes in with a box. Her gun is holstered to the side of her hip.
"Hey, Bonnie, Luke. Clementine, I have something for you." She places the box down on the table separating Clem and Luke. She looks weirded out, narrowing her eyes suspiciously.
"Ooh, look at that, a welcome present?" Bonnie enthusiastically asks, a hand on her hip.
"Something like that." Tavia replies, opening the box.
"Uh.. okay. Show me." Clem says. A few seconds later, Tavia pulls out a puffy blue jacket with an odd multicolored symbol accompanied by a sun on the chest. It looks like it's never been worn before, but that's no wonder with how ugly it is. The eleven year old can't help but cringe, and neither can Luke.
"It's a jacket, about your size according to Carley. It's gonna get cold out soon; you want it?" Tavia questions, still holding it out.
Clem hesitantly speaks. "It's.. kinda.."
"It's pretty ugly." Luke finishes.
"Luke!" Bonnie hisses.
Tavia raises a brow. "So? Who cares?"
"I'm just saying." He replies.
Bonnie lets out a 'tsk'. "Well I think it's cute. Go on, take it. It's gonna get real cold soon, you don't wanna be left without some sort of coat when snow starts to fall."
