Mona was in one of the patient rooms all by herself, staring at the bag of Quick pills on the bed across from her that she stole from the hotel from the previous world.
"These pills are so weird. I've never thought that a drug like this could have such crazy effects. And that hallucination about Tatanga and Fire Bro…no…it can't be a hallucination. It's a memory. There is something up with Fire Bro, other than him being crazy. I have to find out what it is!" Mona spoke determinedly to herself. She heard footsteps out in the hallway and looked out the door to see that it was the one and only Fire Bro walking past her room.
"Speak of the devil!" she whispered and ran after him. "Fire Bro! Wait up!"
"Yes? Oh, hey Mona! You're looking as flawless as ever I see!" Fire Bro chuckled.
Mona raised a brow at him uncomfortably. "Uhh…thanks, I guess. Look, Fire Bro, I have to ask you something very important and I need you to be honest with me, okay? I'm not accusing you of anything, I just need to know."
"Oh boy, this already sounds like an accusation! Go on, do your worst!" Fire Bro excitedly yelled, which weirded her out even more.
"Uhh…right…so, you remember Grunty's quiz thing, where she revealed that I was the one who set fire to Bowser's castle's basement three years ago? Were you…um…also there that night?" Mona asked somewhat nervously.
"What? Man, just because I have a fire ability doesn't mean I want to set fire to everything in the world! Stereotyping is NEVER cool, you know! Don't they teach you that at liberal arts colleges!?" Fire Bro pouted.
"Okay, first off, I went to a REGULAR university. Secondly, that's not what I meant! What I'm trying to say is…were you outside the castle that night I set fire to the basement?" Mona reiterated.
"HUH!? Outside the castle!? Why do you think I was outside the castle on that night!?" Fire Bro shrieked in surprise.
"Because, uhh, I-I think I remember something now. After I escaped through the basement window to the outside, I remember seeing you…o-or someone that looked like you talking to Tatanga…or someone that looked like him!" Mona admitted more nervously, refusing to reveal the real reason why she 'remembered' in case it made her look unreliable.
Fire Bro's suddenly turned cold and serious. Mona took note of this and became even more nervous. She had never seen him look like that before. She knew what she asked must've triggered something inside of him to look like that.
"Listen to me, Mona. Whatever you THINK you saw that night, you didn't. You went crazy that night considering you almost burnt a castle down. Hell, you're probably crazier than you want people to know! You need to let this go or else you're going to regret it," Fire Bro harshly stated while stomping towards Mona which made her backup against the wall in fear.
"Don't you fucking dare step any closer to me!" Mona threatened.
"Why? Afraid that I'm gonna hurt you? Hahaha. Consider this your ONLY warning," the maniac stated and then walked off.
Mona calmed herself down as she watched him walk down the hall. "Okay, there is definitely something up with him. Whether or not he was there that night, he can't be trusted at all. I'm gonna have to keep my eye on him."
She turned around and went back into the patient room only to find a young toad boy digging through the bag of Quick pills.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH! What the hell do you think you're doing!?" Mona yelped in panic and snatched the bag away from him.
"Hey, I was just getting some Ibuprofen pills for me! My stomach is hurting like crazy, lady! I think the broccoli wasn't cooked right or something cause this is definitely food poisoning I'm feeling!" Toado Nomaki exclaimed.
"Well, uhh, these aren't it! Haven't you tried looking for any doctors or nurses around to help you out?" Mona asked.
"They're all busy right now! I need something to help the paaaiiiin! And if those aren't Ibuprofen pills then what are they?" Toado whined.
"They're…uhh…pills specifically for girls! Menstrual cramps! Yeah, these pills help ease the pain a lot when I get my period!" Mona lied.
"Eww! I didn't need to know that! Gross, lady! Is there anything in this room that can help me at least?" Toado said in disgust.
Mona huffed in annoyance, but then remembered something. "Wait! There's a pharmacy located at the end of this hallway, to the right, by the exit doors. Go there, tell them your problem, they should give you something."
"More walking? Great…thanks, I guess…" Toado groaned and slowly walked out. Mona made a sigh of relief and plopped on the bed.
"Sorry kid, but this stuff is way too dangerous for you…" she whispered.
As Toado walked to the pharmacy and held his stomach, he dug into his pockets and looked at the Quick pill he snatched. "At least I managed to get one pill. That girl, Toadessa, was whining about getting cramps earlier. I guess I can be a nice boy and give her this to help with it. Maybe she'll end up liking me if I do!"
Vivian walked into a waiting room and saw Goombella sitting by her lonesome reading some kind of magazine about wondrous geographical locations of the world.
"Hey Goombella! Mind if I sit next to you?" Vivian asked cheerily.
"Of course not! Sit. I'm just reading about beautiful destinations in foreign countries and wishing I was in those places instead of here…" Goombella dreamily sighed.
"Oh! I see. That does sound relaxing. But, um, hehe, I can't help but feel kinda giggly right now! Something really good happened to me a little while ago," Vivian said with a bright smile.
"Really? Well, spare the suspense!" Goombella exclaimed.
"It's Koops. He kissed me! A-And it felt so nice! I'll be honest, I've been crushing on him for the longest time but never acted on it because he was with Koopie and I wanted to respect that. But now, since he's not with her anymore…oh gosh, I just can't help but feel excited about this!" Vivian cheered like a school girl and blushed like crazy. Goombella's excited expression slowly faded away.
"Oh…he…kissed you? Um…not to rain on your parade, Viv, but don't you think it's too soon? I mean, he literally broke up and had a meltdown about Koopie a couple days ago!" Goombella pointed out.
Vivian's happy expression also faded away. "Oh! I didn't even think about that. So…w-what does that mean then?"
"It means that I highly doubt Koops is fully over Koopie yet. It takes longer than a couple days to get over someone you've been with for years, Viv. I think he's using you to mask his pain," Goombella stated. Vivian looked at her in horror.
"What!? You really think Koops would do that!? That's kinda harsh to say, don't you think!?" Vivian shrieked.
"Look, I'm not saying Koops is a bad guy, I'm just saying that it's too soon for you guys to be romantically involved! Plus, remember how cruel he became after he was told that Koopie cheated on him for Kooper? I've never seen that side of him before. It was honestly a little scary!" Goombella said.
"He acted like that because his own lover and friend betrayed him! I understand his pain! How come you can't?" Vivian asked.
"Come on Viv! I'm not saying he wasn't in pain! I'm just saying that you both should give it some time to let things cool down before getting more serious," Goombella spat.
"Goombella…your rude tone of voice says otherwise! Are you sure you're not saying this because of what you went through in that cell? Maybe you're acting harsh because of YOUR pain?" Vivian guessed. Goombella gave her a look of disgust.
"EXCUSE ME? What the hell does that have to do with anything!? I told you before I didn't want to talk about that!" she raised her voice.
"Well, maybe you should! Keeping it all to yourself is clearly affecting your attitude!" Vivian also raised her voice.
"Thanks for the tip, didn't realize you were a clinical psychologist. I'm gonna get some chips. Don't follow me," Goombella said then threw her magazine to the floor and stomped off. Vivian sighed sadly and buried her head in her hands.
Wario was sitting by himself on the steps to the courtyard, deep in thought about what he did in the previous world. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't get that awful memory of him being forced to torture Goombella out of his head. It made him suffer inside. It made him want to cry. It made him want to fall into a deep sleep and never wake up so he can stop thinking about it. He felt so horrible about the entire thing, but he couldn't get the courage to tell Goombella the truth nor anyone else for that matter. He saw how Goombella reacted to DK after telling her the truth about how he was faking being infected, who knows how she'll be when he tells her who ACTUALLY did the torturing of her?
"God…I need something to make this go away! Get out of my fucking head! PLEASE!" Wario yelled to himself and cried a little as he tugged at his hairs. He looked back up and saw Lakilester wandering through the courtyard and drinking from a large flask. Wario suddenly got an idea. He wiped away his tears with his sleeves and ran over to the lakitu.
"Hey, you! Lakilester, right? You got alcohol in that thing?" Wario yelled while quickly approaching which caught him way off guard.
"Oh! Wario! Uhh, n-n-no! It's just water! I, uhh, couldn't find a bottle to fill water in so I found this flask and…aww fuck it, yes, there's alcohol in this!" Lakilester gave up the act.
"I see. Don't worry, I'm not gonna tell. Just curious, where did you get the alcohol from?" Wario asked.
"There's an abandoned store directly across the street from here that sells alcohol and a bunch of other stuff. I figured no one would like it if I brought the actual bottles with me in the hospital so I got a flask and poured some vodka in it. I'm surprised that store hasn't been raided yet!" Lakilester explained.
"Interesting. Can I have some?" Wario asked. Lakilester gave him a slightly uncomfortable look but ended up handing him the flask anyways.
"Uhh, sure. Why the sudden need for alcohol though? You okay? I mean, I need it cause I'm not okay! Lakilulu is flat out ignoring me, none of my other paper friends seem interesting in talking to me, and that Fly Guy freak keeps trying to hit on me even though I told him I'm not gay! I'm all alone, man!" Lakilester cried as Wario took a few big gulps of the vodka. "WOAH, MAN! Damn! Don't you think that's enough? Okay, now I'm REALLY curious to know what's up with you!"
Wario handed him back the flask and held his neck, being in discomfort at the very strong and hot taste crashing down his throat.
"I just…I need SOMETHING to cope with, with all this chaos, you know? I kind of don't have anyone either. Everyone else is pretty much hanging with their significant other or best friend now. I don't like it," Wario said.
"Ah, I feel it. Sorry to hear that, buddy. I hear your brother and that space chick are pretty serious now too, so that's gotta suck," Lakilester said in sympathy.
"Not too much, I'm happy for the both of them, but still…it gets lonely. Anyways, uhh, I'm gonna go to bed now. It's getting late," Wario said and started to walk off.
"Late!? It's like around 8 o'clock right now! You don't strike me as the person to go to sleep that early!" Lakilester yelled in disbelief. Wario ignored his truthful observation and went back inside. His intention was to get to that store that Lakilester was talking about. He wanted more. He walked into the hospital and felt himself stumbling a little. He made it halfway through the hospital, attempting to walk as straight as he could, till someone impeded his progress.
"Hey, bro!" Waluigi called out from the stairwell and ran over to him. "Been looking everywhere for you. You okay?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Just wandering around aimlessly," Wario shrugged while looking everywhere else but at his brother.
"Ooookay then. Here, I want you to come with me. I wanna show you something," Waluigi replied and led him back into the stairwell. Wario reluctantly followed him, being disappointed inside because he really was craving more alcohol but he didn't want to reject his brother and upset him.
The brothers went upstairs and exited the stairwell to the main hallway. They walked down past a few rooms and entered a Day Room. Next to the door was Rosalina, Parakarry, and Jojora sitting down together in a triangular fashion.
"Oh! What's this all about?" Wario asked.
"Hi, Wario. I had Waluigi bring you here because I wanted to try a meditation exercise. I think it'll help calm our nerves and minds after everything that's been going on. I've done this myself a few times but never with others so I think it'd be a good experiment. Plus…it's a good way to recharge myself, especially because it's been so long since I've done it," Rosalina explained.
"Uh-huh. Okay. You brought Jojora and Parakarry here too?" Wario asked, a little weirded out by the situation.
"I actually came to Rosalina myself. If anyone knew how to get my mind and emotions to settle down, I think it would be her. I NEED this. If I'm gonna deal with people looking at me like I'm some criminal after what Peach did, then I at least want to find some kind of inner peace so I won't have another meltdown," Jojora said.
"And I'm just tagging along with Jojora for this ride! Come on Wario, sit with us! Don't be a hipster!" Parakarry half-joked. Wario smiled a little at him and sat down with the group.
"Just so you know, Jojora, I heard about what happened with Watt. I know it was just an accident, I know you didn't mean to purposely let her die," Wario said. Jojora smiled at him as her eyes got a little watery.
"Thanks…that means a lot," she whispered.
"Let us begin now. Everyone, join hands," Rosalina said and so the group did. "Alright…clear your mind of everything. Close your eyes. If a negative thought enters your mind, don't reject it. Don't react to it. Just acknowledge that it's there and try to remove it from your mind.
Breathe in deeply.
Breathe out slowly.
Do this a couple more times."
Wario followed the procedure and already started to feel a little more relaxed. Although, that could be just the alcohol doing the trick too.
"Okay. Now…imagine, in your mind, some place completely peaceful. Some place that fits you perfectly. I'm not going to describe a specific place exactly, because I know everyone's version of a 'peaceful place' is going to be different, but just think of a setting that makes you feel at ease. Somewhere that you feel protected and content."
Wario's peaceful place in his mind was a house out in the sunny country. A house made specifically for him. All for him. He envisioned himself sitting out on the front porch on a swinging chair, staring out into the sunset while drinking a cold beer. Everything was still and quiet except for some nearby birds chirping. Wario felt himself smile a little. This was the place that made him feel truly at ease and, for a moment, he forgot all the craziness that was happening with the world's potential impending doom. It was as if everything he was worried about just disappeared almost immediately. He became so immersed in his fantasy that he drowned out Rosalina's next words.
Wario looked around him. Nothing but green hills and tress all around him, a house that he adored, and a valley stretching miles ahead of him leading towards the sun. This was living.
Wario got up to go towards the sun. But, as soon as he walked forward, he tripped over something big and landed on the porch. Wario groaned in pain and looked back at him to see what it was. It was a brutally beaten Goombella. Wario screamed. She looked exactly like how she did when Wario was forced to torture her in that cell.
"NO! GOOMBELLA! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Wario screamed again in horror.
Wario opened his eyes, fell over on his back and started to hyperventilate.
"WOAH, WARIO! WHAT'S WRONG!? WHAT'S HAPPENING!?" Waluigi cried.
"I…I…AGGGHHH!" Wario screamed again and ran out of the Day Room. He ran back into the stairwell, down the stairs, entered the first floor, and kept running past objects and people till he reached the front entrance of the hospital. He ran down the steps, across the parking lot, and over to the liquor store Lakilester mentioned earlier. He leaned against the door and slid down it to the ground as he cried. He tried to escape the pain, but he couldn't. He felt like it was going to consume him and break him down, piece by piece, for the rest of his life.
Peach and Daisy visited Pauline again in her patient room.
"Well? Any news, good or bad?" Daisy asked.
"Both. The doctor took an x-ray of my skull and also did something called a neurological examination. He said some stuff that didn't make any sense to me and then he ended up doing an MRI scan as well. Basically, in plain English, there was evidence of my blood vessels being slightly damaged in my head which caused a pressure buildup in my brain. As of right now, he says that I have to take this medication called diuretics which will help release some of the pressure, and Tylenol to help with the pain. He also says that I will have to wait a few days to see if the symptoms improve or get worse. If the symptoms get worse, then I have to get surgery done on my skull. I really REALLY hope it doesn't come to that!" Pauline explained.
"Wow. I am so sorry you're going through this, Pauline," Peach said while holding her hand.
"Don't be sorry. It's not your fault. I chose to save you, remember? I don't regret it at all," Pauline said with a smile. Peach and Daisy looked at her in deep appreciation.
"Well, at least you are in very good hands, Pauline! Even if it comes to doing surgery, it looks like you'll be just fine. You're a tough woman, you can make it through this," Daisy said in encouragement.
"Thanks. But, both of you are pretty tough as well! I saw the way you guys kicked ass back at that church. What would this group be without us?" Pauline chuckled and so did the princesses.
"That means a lot! And yeah, well, not just us, but this whole group kicks ass. I'm sure Tatanga can't say the same for his team!" Daisy laughed.
"All his team has is guns and magic powers. But us? We've got it all! No way are we losing this battle. I refuse to accept a loss!" Peach declared.
"Wait…oh my god, it's them! They're back! Mario, Luigi, and Bowser!" Daisy exclaimed, pointing out the window to the parking lot. Peach rushed over to the window and indeed saw the trio get out of a black van at the lot.
"Yes! They all made it back alive! We need to go see them!" Peach jumped for joy.
"Wait! Pauline, we don't wanna just leave you!" Daisy yelled in concern.
"No no, you guys go! I really don't mind! I'll catch up with what happened to them later," Pauline urged. The princesses nodded and then ran out the room as quick as they could and down to the first floor. They saw the Koopalings up ahead of them rushing to the entrance as well. The big group got outside and ran over to the trio. Peach embraced Mario, Daisy embraced Luigi, and only Bowser Jr. embraced Bowser.
"Oh my god, dad! You've been shot! Are you okay!?" Larry pointed out.
"Ugh…no…take me to the ER please!" Bowser pleaded.
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, and the Koopalings stood outside the ER, waiting for info on Bowser.
"Well, tell us what happened! You guys must've saw everything, right?" Morton asked.
"Not everything. Bowser managed to make a hole in the force field with Kammy's backup wand. That's how he and us got in. He said he almost killed Tatanga but he's still alive. There was also a whole mob of Koopatrols chasing after him and I saved him just in time," Mario explained.
"Wait! HE had Kammy's second wand!? So, he stole Kammy's wand and then…but wait, that doesn't make any sense. It couldn't have been him who made Kammy feel weak with the wand back at the hotel. It had to have been someone else!" Larry said.
"So, someone stole Kammy's second wand then I'm guessing lost it and then Bowser somehow found the wand, kept it for himself, and used it to fight Tatanga," Daisy said.
"Okay, look, it doesn't matter right now WHO stole the wand at first! What else happened back there, Mario!? There has to be more than that!" Iggy pleaded.
"You'll have to talk to your dad to get the full story. The only other thing he told me was about Roy. Bowser said he talked to Roy when we got there. He gave Roy the chance to come with him or stay at the island. Roy chose to stay," Mario said. The Koopalings looked at him either shocked or in disappointment.
"Seriously!? How could he just…WHY!? WE are his family, not them!" Bowser Jr. cried.
"Yeah, but Roy doesn't see it that way anymore. We made his life torture. He hates us for what we put him through and now he's gone down the drain forever…" Lemmy said with watery eyes.
"That still doesn't give him the right to join Tatanga's team! Sure, we fucked up with Roy, we should've treated him better, but it's no excuse for what he's doing right now. He's losing the only people that still gives a crap about him!" Wendy exclaimed.
"Maybe it's time to just let Roy go now. It's clear that this is the life he wants now. We have to accept that and let him go," Ludwig said, also with watery eyes and finally getting rid of his accent.
"That's what I told Bowser as well. Roy made a decision to kill Dry Bones, an innocent being, and join the people who are trying to destroy this world. He can't come back from that. Many of these villains are given too many extra chances to turn over a new leaf when they just wind up doing the exact same thing as before. That can't happen again," Mario said in a strict manner. What he said sent chills down the Koopalings' spines and made them a little more upset.
"As much as it kills me to say it, you're right. Roy can't come back from this. We're not ever gonna be able to look at him the same way again if he does somehow come back," Iggy added.
The door to the ER rooms opened and out came a nurse toad.
"Hello! You may see your father now! Follow me to his room!" she said.
Everyone was about to go in and see him until DK arrived and shouted Mario down.
"Mario! Thank god you made it back! I need to show you something!" DK yelled.
"What, DK? Is it bad?" Mario asked, stopping the whole group in their tracks.
"Uhh…well…kind of. Something bad happened while you and Luigi were gone. Don't worry, no one is killed or hurt, but I just need you to see this!" DK urged.
"Oh gosh, what possibly could've happened now!?" Peach huffed, tired of all the bad things happening.
"Okay! Uhh, you guys go on ahead and see your dad! We'll see him later!" Mario said, then DK led the four the opposite direction while the Koopalings went in to see their dad.
"How is he, nurse? How bad is the wound?" Wendy asked.
"Well, the good side is that there's an exit wound, so we don't have to take a bullet out nor are there pieces lodged into his veins or arteries that we would also have to take out. Another good thing is that the bullet didn't strike through any major arteries or veins. All your father really has to do is keep the wound covered and take the medication given to him. Your father is very lucky…the wound could've easily been ten times worse had the bullet struck his arm just an inch up from its original spot," the nurse explained as she brought them to the room. They saw their dad lying on the gurney, with all kinds of tubes and wires hooked up to him. The kids entered and surrounded his bed.
"Hey…look everyone…I know you're furious with me. I did a stupid thing. I was so angry and vengeful that I just wanted Tatanga to die already because he was the cause of everything that's happened so far," Bowser tiredly spoke.
Bowser Jr. shook his head and cried a little. "Y-You old fool! You left without saying ANYTHING! You could've died! What would we do if that happened, huh!?"
"I know. I am so sorry, son. I'm sorry for being such a mess of a father. I wanted to so badly make things right that I took matters into my own hands without even saying a word to you guys," Bowser cried a little as well, seeing his own son get upset like that.
"Mario told us about Roy. Is it true? Did you really offer for him to come with you and he refused?" Iggy asked.
Bowser nodded. "I wanted to give him another chance. I wasn't a good dad to him either. I wanted to make up for every single fucked up thing I've done…"
"You can't, dad. You just can't. Not every single mistake you make has to be made up for. Quit trying to put it all in your hands! Roy…he…he made a choice to be with Tatanga and he has to live with that choice," Larry said.
"Yeah…so…Roy…what do you guys think? Is it really too late for him to come back?" Bowser asked. All the kids slowly nodded their heads. Bowser let out a great sigh. "So, Mario was right. There are some people that you just can't save. There are some people that are just gone forever, and Roy is one of them. I'm sorry for everything, kids. I really am. With Kammy being gone, I just don't know how to continue like this. I don't know how to protect you guys anymore, because I really don't want anyone else in my life to leave. No one. Too many have left and I don't know if I can handle another one being gone."
Bowser Jr. gave him a sympathetic smile and hugged him. Everyone else eventually joined in on the hug except for Morton once again. This time, though, he looked at his dad with a little more appreciation than usual as of late.
DK led Mario, Peach, Daisy, and Luigi back next to the room where Banjo almost shot Diddy. He opened the door to reveal Banjo sitting on a patient bed with his head down with Flurrie right next to him.
"So, to put it plainly, Banjo kinda went insane and almost shot Diddy. From what I was told, Banjo thought that Diddy was the one who shot Kazooie because Banjo said something about how all the people we were fighting against were on the main floor and Kazooie was in the basement. I know, it makes no sense, but that's what happened," DK explained.
"What!? Geez, poor Diddy. And poor Banjo too. His head isn't in the right place after Kazooie died. Can't blame him for that," Luigi said.
"Had he actually shot Diddy, though, he would've suffered the consequences. No excuses," Daisy stated.
"Hello, everyone. I've been here with Banjo ever since we found him with Diddy. He hasn't said a word since then," Flurrie said.
"What should we do, Mario? He didn't actually hurt anyone and he's going through a great amount of pain right now. But, if he's a danger to us all now…" Peach worriedly spoke, feeling horrible for the bear.
Banjo slowly rose his head and looked dead straight at Mario. "Mario…you're here…"
"Yeah. Banjo…I know you're going through something terrible right now and I can't imagine how much you're suffering. But, accusing people of killing Kazooie and threatening to kill them isn't going to help a thing!" Mario exclaimed.
"I know. I'm sorry. I was…um…hoping I could talk to you alone, actually. I need to tell you something important," Banjo said.
Mario looked at the others concernedly, not seeing this coming. "Uhh, okay. Yeah, we can talk alone. Could you guys give us some time, please?" Mario nicely said. Everyone else obliged and left them in the room. DK grabbed Mario by the shoulder before he left.
"Mario, if he tries anything…don't be afraid to fight back," he whispered. Mario nodded immediately, knowing that the right thing had to be done if came to that. Mario shut the door and looked to Banjo.
"Alright, Banjo. What's this important thing that you have to tell me?" he asked.
Banjo stood up and sadly sighed. "Kazooie and I came here for an actual reason, Mario. It wasn't just to get away from our home, like we said to you back at the hotel."
Mario's expression turned to surprise and he became a little nervous now. He had no idea what to expect.
Flurrie walked into the ladies' restroom and went to the sink. She stared at herself in the mirror for a good while, checking her whole face out.
"My, what on earth am I wearing all this makeup for exactly? Who am I trying to impress? I'm on a life-or-death mission right now practically. There is no need for all this superficiality…" Flurrie said to herself and turned on the sink to wipe her makeup off.
"Ohhhhh god!" yelled a male voice from one of the stalls which made Flurrie jump in fright.
"Ah! Who's there!? Hello!?" she shrieked.
"Shit…they're everywhere!" yelled the same male voice.
"Um, e-excuse me? You do realize this is the ladies' bathroom, correct? Are you alright?" Flurrie asked as she slowly crept to the stall where she thought the noise was coming from.
"I feel so unstoppable right now b-b-b-b-but why are these things all over me!? WHY WHY WHY!?" yelled the voice again.
"HELLO!? CAN YOU HEAR ME!? WHAT IS GOING ON IN THERE!?" Flurrie raised her voice.
The stall door slammed open and out came Boshi screaming for his life. Flurrie screamed as well as Boshi knocked her to the floor as he ran to the opposite side of the restroom.
"HAHAHA! I ESCAPED THE SPIDERS AND…OH SHIT! THEY'RE COMING THIS WAY! AAAAGGGHHH!" Boshi panicked while flailing his arms.
"WHAT SPIDERS!? THERE'S NOTHING THERE! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!?" Flurrie yelled.
Suddenly, a bag of white powder fell from his pockets as he was running around all over the room. Flurrie screamed again in horror.
"OH MY GOODNESS! ARE YOU ON COCAINE RIGHT NOW!? WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" Flurrie screamed at him and started to cry.
"YOU HAVE TO HELP ME, LADY! THERE'S NO DOOR TO GET OUT OF HERE! NO DOOR TO GET OUT OF HERE! NO DOOR TO GET OUT OF HERE! SHIT! FUCK! FLAAAAH!" Boshi screamed in her face and dropped to the floor.
"You fool! How could you do this to yourself!? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF!? I'M GETTING RID OF THE BAG!" Flurrie snatched the bag, threw it in the toilet, and was about to flush it until Boshi tugged her away from it.
"WHAT THE FRICKETY FRACK KNICK KNACK PADDY WHACK ARE YOU DOING!? THAT'S MY SAVING GRACE RIGHT THERE! IT HELPS ME FEEL SO FINE ABOUT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE AND EVERYWHERE AND EVERYWHATEVER!" Boshi cried while shaking the wind spirit by her shoulders.
"GET OFF ME YOU ABSOLUTE MENACE! DON'T EVER COME CLOSE TO ME AGAIN!" Flurrie pushed him off and hightailed it out of there. She busted out of the bathroom and kept running as far away as possible aimlessly. She didn't care where she was going just as long as she very far away from that freak.
She stopped to catch her breath and backed up against the wall. Her body was shaking so much from that experience and she couldn't stop herself from crying uncontrollably.
"G-GOD! Please…no…not again…not again…why must this show up in my life again? Why must all these bad things happen!?" Flurrie spoke to herself and slid down the wall to the floor. She covered her face into her hands and let out her emotions right then and there as she got flashbacks from similar events long ago running through her mind for the first time in ages.
EOC.
Next chapter will have Banjo's reveal, Wario going further down the drain, Kooper figuring out a potential truth with Fire Bro, Tadano finally arriving at the hospital, and, of course, much more! See you next Friday!
