Everyone flew their arwings back towards their planet, now getting within radio range to get in contact with Mushroom Corps.

"Hello, Kylie? You there? Please respond!" Daisy said.

"Yes, hello!? You guys got the gem!? How did it go?" Kylie questioned.

"Well, good news is, we got the gem, but the bad news is...a few of us are in bad condition. Long story short, that 'anomaly' you were talking about before was indeed some evil interdimensional thing that kidnapped all of us and put us into some jail building near the planet, where we also found a guy named Toadim and our friend Gekikara had been kidnapped by him too. He then took Yoshi, Waluigi, and Rosalina hostage into a separate room. He nearly boiled Yoshi and froze Waluigi to death, but we got there just in time to save them! Our friend, Gekikara, had sacrificed herself to distract that interdimensional guy and we saved everyone, but Mario ended up getting bit in the shoulder by those Octoomba things and he's bleeding pretty badly…" Daisy explained everything in brief.

"O-Oh my! Wha...uhh...okay, you all need to get here as fast as humanly possible so we can get Yoshi, Waluigi, and Mario treated properly at the hospital! Are they still okay? Are they breathing?" Kylie asked in fright.

"I'm with Waluigi right now, he's still breathing and moving a little. Unfortunately, I can't use any magics to help the situation because I'm still weakened by that bastard…" Rosalina harshly swore, something she rarely did.

"Yoshi's doing ok too, but the only reason why Mario got bit by those Octoombas is because of that Toadim asshole that pushed him out of the way so he could save himself!" Birdo exclaimed.

"YEAH! As soon as we get back to the planet, we're gonna execute him, medieval 17th century style!" Fire Bro yelled.

"PLEASE STOP IT! I SAID I WAS SORRY! I PANICKED AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! PLEASE JUST DON'T KILL ME! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEAAAAASE!" Toadim begged.

"He's with you guys? A-And he really did that!?" Kylie said in shock.

"Yes. I...ugh...have a plan for what to do with him...as soon as we get into the planet...you all...fuck...you all head to Mushroom City whereas I'll have Peach fly us somewhere else…" Mario spoke weakly and in pain.

"Huh!? Mario, what are you planning, exactly!?" Toad asked, a little scared.

"NO NO NO! Mario, you need to come directly to Mushroom City! In fact, those of you who have Waluigi, Yoshi, and Mario in your arwings need to come directly to the hospital and park the arwings near the courtyard behind the building. Everyone else needs to go straight to Mushroom Corps. Mario, if you're losing blood, I can't have you risk going somewhere else by the off chance that you end up losing too much by the time you get here," Kylie demanded.

"Mario, she's right. Whatever plan you had in mind for Toadim, you need to either rethink it or get rid of it all together because we're not letting you die on us!" DK stated.

"They have a point. But...I don't know if I want him staying with us at the hospital after what he did to you, Mario…" Peach said in concern.

Mario huffed and stared out into the galaxy. He felt weak and angry still, but knew that everyone was right. Going all out with his original plan wasn't going to work with his current condition.

Mona opened her eyes and her vision slowly unblurred as she quickly realized she was in a hospital bed, surrounded by Diddy, Jojora, Wario, Pauline, Goombario, Bombette, Parakarry, Bow, Lakilester, Lakilulu, Koops, Koopie, Flurrie, Spike, and Vivian.

"Oh good, you're awake! How are you feeling, dearie?" Flurrie asked.

"I...wh-what happened to that guy? The Koopatrol!?" Mona suddenly shrieked.

"You don't remember? I killed him! I told everyone here what you told me, that you were being chased by a bunch of rebel koopatrols in a monster truck who were trying to take over the city!" Bombette recalled.

"I still can't believe we have to deal with more threats against us. Is this shit EVER going to end!?" Lakilester grunted.

"Ok...yeah, I remember now. What did you do with the body, though? You didn't just leave it there, did you?" Mona asked.

"I got a few people to help bring him into the morgue. Don't worry, I think we're gonna be okay for now," Bombette assured.

"You seriously think that!? These bastards we have to deal with now chased Mona down with a fucking MONSTER TRUCK and one of them got very close to the hospital! If those guys find out where we are, it's gonna probably be like when Tatanga and his army found us and tried to shoot us all down!" Goombario frantically pointed out to everyone.

"Fuck. He's right! Do you guys think they saw you kill one of their buddies? Because if they did...FUCK! We'll have nowhere else to go if they actually invade this place!" Wario yelled in fear.

"I-I don't know if they were watching! I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings when it happened! Don't you dare start to blame me if they actually come here!" Bombette got on the defensive.

"No one's blaming you! You did what you had to to save Mona's life. It's just that...if they saw what happened or, hell, even find this place and see that it's full of people, they might just be cocky enough to storm on through anyway!" Spike said.

"Well, wait a second here, how many of them were there anyways? Was it about the same amount from Tatanga's group at the other hospital?" Parakarry questioned.

"I think I saw only 6 or 7 of them, but there could've been more! I didn't really stick around that long to see how many there were," Mona said.

"That's it!? Well, defending ourselves from that small of a group should be a piece of cake! We totally don't got anything to worry about, you guys!" Lakilulu heartily scoffed.

"Well, it would help things a little more if Mario and the others came back very soon…" Pauline said.

"Soooo what the hell are we supposed to do then? I don't think I can continue wandering around here and acting normal, knowing that more of Tatanga's lackies are out there, possibly planning to infiltrate this place!" Bow exclaimed.

"Maybe that's just what we have to do. Act like everything is normal and keep a lookout for any suspicious activity. If we tell everyone else here what happened, there'll be mass panic and there's no way we'll be able to control that," Diddy said.

"Kinda gonna be hard to act normal considering the last time we were found out by Tatanga's guys they shot up the place…" Koops pessimistically commented.

"Well, just try, okay!? Unless you wanna go out there and find those guys yourself and kill them, then stay put and stay calm. We'll deal with the problem if the time comes like we always do!" Diddy stated in frustration.

"He's right, those guys are actually probably the least of our concerns since we already have an untrustworthy maniac in our own place…" Koopie snarled.

"What? Who?" Mona asked, surprised.

"Fire Bro. We found out something about him while you were gone. He's not who he says he is!" Koopie revealed.

"Oh! That actually doesn't surprise me," Mona replied casually, catching some people off guard.

"Really? Why do you say that?" Pauline asked.

"He...ugh, okay, I need to tell you guys this. Three years ago, when I started that fire in Bowser's basement, the story that Grunty told you all, I escaped through one of the windows. Once I got out, I saw two people in the distance that looked like Fire Bro and Tatanga, who were talking to each other. That night itself was really hazy, but after seeing Fire Bro more and more, it started coming back to me in my memory recently.

I confronted Fire Bro about this, to see if he really WAS there that night with Tatanga, but...he turned into a completely different person. He became so serious. He backed me up against the wall and threatened me to leave him alone. I think I knew then that Fire Bro was up to no good," Mona explained. Her story creeped everyone else out, but didn't totally shock them because of what they already knew about Fire Bro.

"HOLY SHIT! So, not only is Fire Bro an imposter, but he may have worked with Tatanga in the past!? And he still could be working for him, like a fucking mole!? Does this shit ever stop!?" Wario angrily groaned.

"Well, this just fucking proves it then! Fire Bro isn't to be trusted at all and we need to exile him somehow as soon as he gets back with the rest!" Jojora demanded.

"Wait a second, you set fire to Bowser's basement!? Damn, you're a lot more hardcore than I thought!" Lakilester laughed a little, not being there for when the story was told.

"Yeah...damn, Mona. I know Bowser used to be an asshole, but I don't know if he deserved that!" Spike was taken back by her actions, also not being there for when the story was told.

"Wait, Wario, why did you say 'imposter?' Is there something else about him I don't know about?" Mona asked.

"Yes, there is. We'll tell you everything we found out about Fire Bro recently, and we also have a plan for him once he gets back. But, with what you told us now...I think I'm gonna have to alter the plan a bit," Koopie said.

Tadano and Mimi were approaching Northern Knight's Castle as Tadano was telling Mimi his life story.

"...So, in complete summary, I was locked in an insane asylum for many years. My family visited me once all together but that was it. My brother turned into some mega villain, my dad died in a fire that Tatanga started and my mom left to who knows where. My life would make for a good and tragic family drama movie, wouldn't it?" Tadano spoke in a deadpan tone.

"WOW! God, all of that happened to you? I am so sorry, Tadano. You went through so much hell that no one ever should have to go through!" Mimi said in sympathy.

"Thanks, but I'm mostly over it now. In a way, though, it wasn't TOO bad because I got away from my abusive father and I found a friend that's been so loyal and kind to me ever since I got sent to that place! Her name is Toadie, she's been such a saving grace to me!" Tadano gleefully spoke.

"Aww, that's good! I'm glad you had someone to be there for you while in there. People like that just show that the world isn't COMPLETELY fucked up," Mimi giggled.

"Yup! She's so kind and caring, she's always with me no matter where I go! In fact, she's here right now! I'll have you meet her eventually, she's just really shy and right now probably isn't the same time because we're almost to the castle!" Tadano said in the same cheery manner. Mimi almost stopped in her tracks, feeling a little disturbed by his words about this "Toadie."

"Um...r-right...yeah, it definitely wouldn't be the right time to meet her right now…" Mimi awkwardly replied, but she didn't want to say anything that would come off as rude because she figured it was some kind of imaginary friend that Tadano had conjured up to help him through staying at the asylum.

The castle loomed before the pair. Many parts of it were smashed or blasted open, leaving rubble and debris all over the surrounding area, due to the rescue attempt at everyone who was imprisoned by Tatanga and his army days ago.

"Feels weird coming back here. To think that this is where it all started…" Mimi said, getting a little chill down her body.

"See, this is why castles just don't work if you're doing an evil plan to ruin the world. They can easily be blown away by missiles, bombs, tornadoes, hurricanes, and like a thousand other different things! My brother sure is a dumb villain!" Tadano childishly spat.

"Yyyyeahhh….well, uhh, it's safe to say that he had this entire thing planned out, though. The island he's on right now is where his actual weapon is, I think this place was just a front so no one would think to check anywhere else if the castle was destroyed," Mimi said as the two entered into the main floor.

"Hey, Mimi, can I ask you something? Why are you trying to talk to Roy, a guy that you don't know all that well? Wouldn't it be better to just let that go instead of putting your life at risk for him?" Tadano asked as they headed to the basement door. Mimi felt discomforted by that question.

"Well...I mean...okay, you're right, I don't know him too well. But, Roy led himself into something so horrible and destructive. His family treated him like crap and he accidentally killed my friend, Nastasia, and...a-and I pushed him away because I blamed him for her dying! I think that was what broke him. I was the only person in his life that treated him decently and when he saw that I didn't want anything to do with him...well, I'm guessing he had enough of everything and went to Tatanga to join him," Mimi got a little emotional as she explained it to Tadano.

"Oh wow! But, Mimi, you sound like you're blaming yourself for what Roy did! You shouldn't! Roy made his own choice by joining my brother, and I heard from people at the hospital that he killed someone named Dry Bones in order to officially join my brother's group. An accidental kill is one thing, but purposely killing someone...he knew what he was doing and what the consequences were going to be! You really think there's any point in talking to him now?" Tadano reasoned with Mimi which made her feel a little more upset and even started to think twice about why she came in the first place.

"I...Tadano, I-I know what Roy did to Dry Bones was inexcusable. But, if I can save him from going down this path he's on, it might put a damper in Tatanga's plan. Roy could do some sabotaging and then escape in time, giving the heroes more time to craft out a plan to infiltrate Tatanga's island. Look, I was there in Roy's shoes many years ago. I was a part of a group that was hellbent on doing almost the same thing Tatanga is doing right now. I got so deep into hurting people and being loyal to someone who was pretty much a lunatic that I lost who I was. That wasn't me. That was someone who wanted to take their issues and project them out into the world. That was someone who just wanted to be a part of something big and feel special for once because I never felt like I was important to anyone before that in my life.

So, that's why I'm doing this for Roy. If I can't get him to come to his senses, then nothing will. But I have to try, don't I? I just...I would feel horrible for Roy if he got sucked in further and further into this mess to where he would have to hurt his own family. But...by that point...he'd be too far gone to save. He would have to die. Do you see where I'm getting at?" Mimi explained further.

Tadano looked at her for a full minute, taking it in but creating a bizarre silence among the two. Mimi felt uncomfortable again and had no idea what he was thinking about everything she said.

"Okay," was all Tadano said and then turned around to head into the basement. Mimi was confused by his odd response but tried not to let it get to her and followed him down.

In the basement was a bunch of dust, cobwebs, medieval-looking weapons and supplies, a bunch of documents, and other generic knick-knacks. The pair made their way through the junk and found what had to be the teleportation machine in the far corner of the room. The machine looked similar to the one in Rogueport Sewers that connects to the moon.

"YES! THIS HAS TO BE IT! So, uhh, I guess we just stand on there and let the wonders of science do its thing!" Tadano giddily yelled. The pair got on to the device and a flash of light wrapped around them for a few seconds along with sounds of wind gusts. The sounds and flash disappeared and they were in a similar-looking room, but clearly different as the room was more clean and the textures of the wall were different.

"Wow, that was...uhh...interesting. I swear, it felt like I blinked and then we just ended up here!" Mimi exclaimed.

"Haha! Gotta love science! Now let's see what's outside this room…" Tadano cheered and ran to the door on the opposite side of the bare room.

"Hold on! There might be koopatrols right outside! You gotta be careful!" Mimi yelped.

Tadano slowly opened the door and poked his head outside and gazed in both horror and awe at what loomed before him. It was what looked like hundreds of koopatrols building a giant, white, torpedo-looking weapon that must've been at least 100 feet tall. The 'room' they were all working in had no ceiling so the weapon can stick out above the fortress.

"Holy cow! Do you see this!? That must be Tatanga's weapon!" Tadano shrieked.

"Yeah...I'm not too shocked by it, though. I figured Tatanga had to have something like this in order for him to take over the world," Mimi said.

"I wonder if I can somehow trick all those koopatrols to stop working on it...they'll all still think I'm Tatanga!" Tadano said.

"That might be too risky! Look, let's just first do what we originally came here for. We need to find out where Tatanga and Roy are at, and we need to do this very subtly!" Mimi demanded.

"Okay okay. I think I have an idea, but I'm gonna have to pretend to be Tatanga though," Tadano said.

The adventure crew returned to the planet without any more troubles. Birdo, Rosalina, and Peach flew their arwings and parked them near the hospital courtyard to get their respective significant others into the hospital to ensure they would be okay, whereas everyone else parked their arwings at Mushroom Corps and made their way back to the hospital.

Once the injured members were settled in, Peach, Daisy, and Luigi dragged Toadim to the front of the hospital.

Luigi tossed Toadim a small duffel bag. "In there is some food, water, and a first aid kit. You can't stay here so be on your way now before it gets dark."

"S-Seriously guys!? I said I was sorry! Also, I live in Sarasaland! How the hell am I supposed to get there without any money!?" Toadim cried.

"Well, you should've thought of that before you almost got two of our friends killed," Daisy stated in a strict manner.

"By Moonview Airport, there's a harbor where they do ferries to Sarasaland. I put enough coins in the bag to pay for the toll. You'll figure out a way to get there," Peach stated, crossing her arms, holding in her anger.

"Wow...and you two call yourselves princesses? What the hell kind of leaders are you? No wonder why the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland gets attacked all the time!" Toadim spat.

"GO! Before we change our minds!" Luigi yelled, getting in his face.

"Fuck you," Toadim coldly responded and walked off into the city streets.

"Just another egomaniac that needs to check himself. I swear, if Mario ended up dying or if Toadette actually fell off...I don't even know if we would let him walk away like that," Daisy said.

"I'd rather not think about that. He's gone now, and everyone is alright, and that's all that matters," Luigi said, holding Daisy's hand to help calm her.

"I wonder though, what was Mario's original plan with Toadim? Do you know, Peach?" Daisy asked.

"He told me right before we got here that he wanted me to fly to a random spot in Sarasaland and throw him out there as a type of payback for what he did, and that he would find his own way back home," Peach said.

"Oh wow. Uhh...well...I'm not trying to give the guy any sympathy or anything like that, but don't you think you could've done that after you dropped off Mario here?" Daisy suggested.

Peach shook her head and huffed. "No. The arwing was going to run out of gas anyways and...I really don't know if I could handle being stuck with that guy for another second after everything that happened. He almost killed the love of my life! And he almost killed Toadette...someone who I've known since she was a baby. I hate him for what he did."

Luigi put his hand on Peach's shoulder, hoping to calm her down a little. "You didn't do anything wrong, Peach. Don't overthink it. He's gone now so we can finally let this all go. Come on, you two. Let's go back inside and visit everyone."

"Flowers, anyone?" Pauline cheerily asked as she entered the room where Yoshi, Waluigi, and Mario were being treated in, bringing in three vases of lilies that she took from the courtyard. Mona, Peach, Daisy, and Luigi followed right behind her while Birdo, Rosalina, and Wario were already in there.

"Oh, that's very kind of you! Thanks, Pauline," Mario said happily yet tiredly from his bed.

"Yeah, thanks for that. So, I'm guessing you guys handled Toadim alright?" Waluigi asked.

"For the most part. He was still an asshole about the whole thing, but not to worry, we won't be seeing him again!" Daisy assured.

"I still can't believe you guys ran into someone like that out there...how the hell can someone be so selfish to want to save their own life by trying to get others killed!?" Wario asked dumbfoundedly.

"Some people just want it to be all about themselves. I don't think any of us will ever understand egomaniacs like that nor do I think we would ever want to!" Mario scoffed.

"So, from the looks of it, you all are gonna be alright? No major concerns from the doctors?" Mona asked.

"Yeah, pretty much! My shoulder wound wasn't as bad as I thought it was and the nurses didn't find any infection from the bite, so that's good, but it'll take a long time to heal all the way," Mario said.

"And we saved Waluigi just in time, all of the blood flow to his organs are normal, but they attached some kind of heart-lung machine to apply extracorporeal warming to get his body temperature back to average," Rosalina informed.

"Awesome! But, what about Yoshi? Is he still unconscious?" Mona asked, noticing that Yoshi looked completely knocked out.

"The heat stroke made his body exhausted, but the doctors assured that he'll be okay. They had him drink a cold fluid with electrolytes right after he got in. I just...god, if we were there only a minute later...I don't know what I would do without my Yoshi!" Birdo cried a little which made Peach come over and give him a hug.

"Don't think about that. We're all okay now! We got the gem and we escaped that monster! It may not have been as smooth as we wanted it to be, but we still got through all of it together," Peach said in hopes of cheering her up.

"Yeah. As messy as it got, we all made it out alive. If it weren't for Gekikara...well, like Peach said, let's not think about that. We owe Gekikara huge gratitude!" Luigi exclaimed.

"KNOCK KNOCK! I hear crying! Is everything okay!? Did someone die!? Who's watching the princess!?" Toadsworth panickedly chimed in the room.

"Really, Toadsworth? I told you like 5 minutes ago that we're all okay...and the 5 minutes before that as well!" Waluigi said and playfully rolled his eyes.

"Well, good grief, after seeing what happened to the lot of you after this mission and, well, every other mission before this one, I can't help but be cautious and aware of anything else bad happening! Especially to the princess!" Toadsworth said in defense.

"Welcome to the life of saving the world, Toadsworth. Not always clean and smooth like we would want it to be," Daisy stated.

"Like I told everyone else that visited us a little while ago, we can take it easy for a little bit. We're all here now, we got the seventh gem, so there's no need to stress about anything for right now," Rosalina assured.

"Hey, wait a second...Mona? Why are you in hospital clothes? Did something happen to you while we were gone?" Peach asked.

"Oh! Um, I'll explain it to you all later. I don't want to put any more on your guys' shoulders with what happened to me, so I'll just tell you all when we've gotten some rest," Mona said.

"Why, what happened!? Did you get hurt by someone!?" Mario frantically asked.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

Everyone turned back to the knocking noise and was surprised to see Bowser standing there.

"Hey...is it okay if I come in? Are you guys having an important meeting?" he asked.

"Oh, no. It's all alright. Come on in, Bowser!" Luigi gestured. Bowser walked in and couldn't help but notice the atmosphere get a little silent and awkward once he arrived.

"You three doing okay? How bad was it?" Bowser asked.

"It got a little bad, but we all made it out alive and are gonna be okay," Birdo answered.

"Good. So...next time...we're getting the whole group together again, right? I feel kind of bad for not trying to go with you guys!" Bowser admitted.

"Yeah, we definitely are not gonna take chances of just doing us 14. If we had our regular group like as usual, then we wouldn't have gotten captured so easily and probably wouldn't have gotten these injuries!" Daisy exclaimed.

"And why would you even feel bad about that? We all foolishly thought that it was going to be a breeze because it was a place close to us and familiar with. I think we just really badly wanted this mission to go a lot easier this time around so we tried convincing ourselves and everyone else that it was gonna be a cakewalk!" Waluigi explained.

"Wow, that got a little psychological there!" Mona giggled and so did a few others at her remark.

"I guess that makes sense. Well, let me know...I mean, let the rest of us know when you're going onto the next mission and we'll be there! Later!" Bowser said and walked out of the room.

"Uhh...did Bowser just talk to us like we were his buddies?" Birdo asked, slightly confused and discomforted by Bowser's change in personality.

"Yeahhhhh, that was kind of weird. I mean, I think I'm glad that he's becoming a little nicer with us, but it just feels so odd for Bowser to talk to us like that. I'm so used to him yelling at us and making crude remarks!" Wario pointed out.

Mario smiled a little. "I don't mind the change at all."

A few hours had passed since the arrival of the 14 came back and the sun was close to fully setting over the horizon.

"Koopie, now that they're all back, do you wanna get started on the Fire Bro situation right now or should we let things cool down first?" Jojora asked as they sat on the grass of the courtyard.

"The thing is...I can't find Fire Bro anywhere. The second I heard that they're all back, I began to look for him but he's nowhere to be found! I even asked around and no one says that they've seen him," Koopie said.

"Wow! So, uhh, do you think he knows about our plan then? Do you think he's hiding away because he knows what we're gonna do to him?" Jojora asked.

"There's no way that he knows, he was gone when we made that plan up, remember? But, he has to be up to something. The second I find him is when we'll finally get all of this cleared out of the way," Koopie declared and sighed in annoyance.

Bleck and Tippi were in the courtyard next to the small woods, secluding themselves from the other people that were doing their own thing outside.

"Blumiere, you still haven't really told me why you think the Star Spirits sent you that vision. I mean, to me, it honestly makes no sense! From what I've read about the Star Spirits, they don't do stuff like that, do they? They just grant people's wishes and have certain powers that can counter enemies or heal wounds," Tippi said.

"Timpani, for some reason, my mind and gut keeps pointing to the Star Spirits as a potential answer for all of this. Not only that, but just think about everything with Tatanga...why are the Star Spirits not helping us in this situation? Are they powerless against Tatanga because of his magic scepter? Or did someone go to Star Haven and attack the Star Spirits, leaving them incapable of helping?" Bleck questioned.

"Oh wow...you know, I never really thought of that. Do you think it's possible that Tatanga went to Star Haven and attacked the Star Spirits? But wait...if that's the case, then why doesn't Tatanga have the Star Rod instead of that scepter? Surely the Star Rod must be more powerful than that thing! Or, perhaps, just as much powerful, which means he would keep both! But, I've only seen Tatanga with the scepter…" Tippi pointed out.

"That's my theory right now. Timpani, I've done a lot of thinking about this, but, while things are settling down now that they're back from their mission, now's a perfect time to go. I can use my magic to transport us to Star Haven and we'll see what we can find," Bleck said, ready to get this mystery solved immediately. Bleck did his chanting and the two disappeared in a bright flash of light.

"Waluigi, are you sure it's ok for you to walk around out here? If your body hurts, then don't force it!" Rosalina cautioned, holding onto his shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'm fine! I just didn't want to be in that room all day because I'd get bored and cranky. Plus, the nurses approved it, soooo...yeah," Waluigi said, walking with his lover towards the woods where they could see the light from the setting sun shine through and between all the trees, creating a heavenly glow in the vicinity.

"You know, Waluigi, I was so worried about you back there...I have no idea what I would've done if he actually killed you…" Rosalina began to cry a little. Waluigi lifted her chin up to face him.

"But I'm alive! That's all that matters, right? So, don't think about that. Just focus on the fact that we're still together," Waluigi spoke sweetly in encouragement and kissed her. Rosalina immediately felt calm as her heart burst with joy.

Meanwhile, Luigi and Daisy walked out into the courtyard and noticed Waluigi and Rosalina from afar.

"Aww, look at that! They're having a special moment. Isn't it so cool how those two fit together so well?" Daisy laughed a little.

"Yeah! Who would've ever thought those two would just click!? Man...this reminds me, when this is all done and overwith, we're gonna go somewhere far away and exotic together, no one else!" Luigi stated. Daisy looked at him with excitement.

"Really!? That's what you wanna do!? I mean, well, HELL YES! Plus, we deserve some kind of reward for everything that we're doing!" she squealed in glee which made Luigi laugh.

"Yep, I'm being completely serious! I love you, Daisy. I want to spend a vacation with just you and I," Luigi exclaimed and held her by the waist.

"Oh, I love you too, Luigi!" Daisy continue to glee and kissed him.

"YUCK! I would tell them to get a room, but I think they're all taken...I mean, unless some people are into watching others get intimate and stuff," Boshi spat as he walked by the kissing pair.

"Do you always have to make a dumbass comment about everything?" Birdo tiredly asked as she was sitting on the staircase steps to the courtyard.

"I can, because last time I checked, this was a free country!" Boshi arrogantly replied.

"Whatever. Just go away, I'm so NOT in the mood to deal with you right now," Birdo said.

"The hell is up with you? And why aren't you with your boytoy?" Boshi asked.

"I visited him earlier, I just wanted to step outside for a few minutes to get some fresh air. Plus, my mind just can't help but think how close he was to dying, I've never seen Yoshi look so defeated before! I don't know how my life would be without him," Birdo cried a little as she rubbed her temples.

"Hey...look here, Yoshi's a tough guy. He'll make it through pretty much anything. Don't stress about it. It's all done. You guys are free from whatever the hell attacked you all. Don't think about 'what ifs' and shit like that cause it'll give you more anxiety," Boshi said, softening his attitude a little bit.

"Yeah. Easier said than done, but...thanks...I guess," Birdo reluctantly spoke, not looking at him when she said that.

"It's whatever. But, hey, if you need anything from me...and I mean ANYTHING...don't be afraid to talk to me!" Boshi said with a wink and put his hand on her shoulder. Birdo looked at him in disgust and swiped his hand away.

"Just go already! Screw off!" Birdo yelled. Boshi rolled his eyes at her and went inside.

As Waluigi and Rosalina stopped their kiss, Waluigi made a loud gasp of fear when he saw a figure behind Rosalina. She turned around quickly and made the same gasp when she saw the pale man standing there, looking as if he was ready to kill for blood.

"Y-YOU! H-How did you…" Rosalina stumbled on her words in total shock.

"Your plan to kill me failed, you worthless creature! I've had enough. I'm going to make you suffer so much that you will eventually give in and beg me to kill you. BE GONE!" the pale man angrily yelled and unleashed a bolt of lightning from his hands that struck through Waluigi's chest and out, like a bullethole. Blood splattered all over the place and Rosalina stood there frozen in horror at what just happened.

The pale man shot another couple of magic spells into the air. One was a yellow beam that hit Luigi, electrocuting him, another one was a purple beam that hit Birdo's head, knocking her unconscious, and the final was one a green beam that blasted a hole open on the second floor of the hospital, sending concrete and debris flying out everywhere onto the courtyard, landing on a few people.

"OH MY GOD, LUIGI! NOOOOOO! SOMEONE, HELP, PLEASE! WE NEED HEEEEEELP!" Daisy shrilled and cried as she collapsed down to Luigi. He was barely breathing and needed care before it's too late.

"HOLY SHIT! She's unconscious! OUT OF THE WAY, I'M BRINGING HER IN!" Boshi yelled, and put Birdo's arm over his shoulder and dragged her in to the hospital.

Rosalina fell to her knees as she stared in horror at what that monster had just done to her lover.

"Wa...Wa...luigi…" Rosalina could barely speak as tears fell from her eyes, still shaking from the horrific event.

Waluigi turned his head slightly to Rosalina and gurgled up a little blood that came out of his mouth. "Ro...salina...I...lo…ve…"

He then stopped moving and breathing. His eyelids closed. Time was frozen in that moment. Rosalina's heart shattered into a million pieces as the only man she had ever loved in her entire life was taken away from her in an instant.

Rage quickly followed the shock and sorrow as Rosalina tightly gripped the grass in her hands, nearly ripping it. Her eyes turned black.

EOC.

Sorry for anyone who shipped WaluigixRosalina, but this is the kind of story where ANYONE can die! Especially now, as the story heads into an even darker direction, so expect some of your favorite characters to die in the future. Plus, it moves the story forward into a whole other territory. Next chapter, Mimi and Tadano sneak into Tatanga's quarters but not without some kind of consequence, and all hell breaks loose when Rosalina goes after the pale man...but will Rosalina end up going TOO far?

Also, the character list should be 100% correct right now. I forgot to add Jojora last chapter but I edited her in a few days after I published it, so it should be all precise now. See you guys next time and thanks for reading!
