Warning: Utter nonsense

A/N: If I say anything, it'll give it away. So, I'll just say it's a bunch of nonsense. :)

And concerning my other stories, I'm just going to leave them blank until I get my love for Atlantis back, lol. I guess the wait for the new season and the few episodes I didn't find… interesting kind of killed me, lol. But I loved the recent ones to death so the wait might come to a close… hopefully…

Anyway, enjoy the story!

'It's just a simple reconnaissance mission.' John kept telling himself, feeling a wave of uncertainty flood over him as he stepped through the gate. He didn't like this feeling because usually this feeling lead to trouble. Or some strange incidents that aren't planned but they're so precise, that it has to be planned.

He really, really didn't like that feeling…

The gate behind him shut down and he and his team were faced with forest. They were just going to check out the area after receiving high energy readings from the MALP and get some soil samples. "Okay McKay, get your samples and let's get this over with."

"Well someone's a bit on the edge." he snapped at John.

"I dunno I just have this funny feeling…"

"Maybe it's gas." he suggested bluntly.

"Let me see… no." John said in disgust and walked further into the forest.

There was a light snap of a branch almost unnoticeable to everyone but Ronon. He raised his hand and stopped in his place. "What is it, Ronon?" Teyla asked raising her weapon up at her chest, ready to fire.

"Something's here."

Snap!

Rodney, Teyla, Ronon, and John looked around; every one of them alert was. Ronon stood his ground, took out his gun and held it low.

Snap!

They spun around again. "What the heck is going on?" Rodney hissed. Ronon held up his hand signaling silence.

"Oh, don't tell me too…"

Snap!

"Over there." Ronon said and sped ahead, the rest of them closely behind. He fired his gun twice and was about fire it a third time when suddenly he stopped in his tracks. Teyla and John had their weapons raised but lowered them when they finally caught up with him.

"Wh… what was that?" Rodney said out of breath but finally saw what the rest of them were starring at. "Oh my God, is that…"

"What is that?" Teyla asked.

"It's… it's…" Rodney stuttered, still out of breath.

"It's a turkey." John finished, obviously shocked. He sighed heavily and ran a hand through his unruly hair and walked back towards the gate.

Nope, he really didn't like that feeling at all…

Fin.

A/N: lol, I told you it was a bunch of nonsense. Review, please!
