Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I've been here, I know. But I'm hoping to change that. So, without further ado, here's a little treat for y'all ;)

Guilt.

That's what Harvey felt ever since he saw Donna leave the firm. The sad, overwhelmed, "I made a mistake" look on her face had haunted him ever since he watched her disappear as the elevator doors closed.

He knew that not firing her himself was a mistake the moment Jessica suggested it, but he didn't think that it would affect her this badly. Ever since that day, she ignored every message, every call that he has left. She even ignored the messages his temp left her.

Which meant that she wanted nothing to do with him.

It was the most lost he has ever felt up to this day.

When he got home that night, he was met with an empty home. No sign of her whatsoever. As he got to his dresser to retrieve a fresh pair of pajamas, he was met with a note in her handwriting.

I'm sorry.

Two simple words that felt like a knife shoved into his heart. Not knowing what to do, or how to cope, Harvey spent the rest of the night sitting in their bed, thinking.

Everything was crumbling down and he wasn't okay with that.

Once he got back to the firm, he noticed a sudden change. No, it wasn't that awful substitute for a secretary that Harvey wanted to kill just because he took Donna's spot.

Sitting in his chair, working on something, Harvey was used to just looking up and seeing Donna whenever he wanted. She would always just roll her eyes and tell him to get on with his work without even turning around. He was used to just saying something without pressing the intercom and she would hear it. He was used to her because she got him.

And he missed that. He missed her a lot.

It felt like he wasn't complete anymore.

And that's why he was determined to get her back. Yes, he needed her at the mock trial, to win the real trial, cause it's the only way he would ever get her back. But he also needed her by his side...

After a few unsuccessful tries, Harvey decided that it was time to visit her.

Just like he expected, Donna didn't want to even speak to him. She even got a lawyer to defend her. A lawyer that was not him or anyone else from the firm — he would know if it was someone they worked with.

Driving to her old place felt somehow nostalgic to him. Ever since they got together, her place was mostly used for when her parents visited, or when his brother was in the city. But this was different. She was mad at him.

Maybe to a point where she would want to divorce him.

Shaking those thoughts away, Harvey leaned against his car once he arrived at his destination and waited.

Seeing her exit the building, Harvey's heart skipped a beat. She was beautiful as ever.

There she was, looking like a vision in a white flowy dress, her hair in a ponytail, and as his eyes traveled towards her fingers, he was glad to be met with the rings he put there all those years ago.

She's still wearing them.

Feeling hopeful, Harvey tried his luck and struck a casual conversation that ended with them revealing what was left unsaid throughout this mess. It was when she uttered her concerns, that Harvey decided to be bold. He kissed her.

And thank God he did. Because they made up. And, even though there's a lot they needed to work on, Harvey was glad to have her by his side again… Yes, he still hoped that she would show up to the trial in a few days... For her. For them.

"The plaintiff would like to call Miss Donna Paulsen to the stand."

Harvey didn't really think that Donna would come to the mock trial. After all, she said that she wouldn't. After they reconciled, a small part of him hoped that she would be there. Yes, she was a crucial part of the trial, and it just didn't seem like they would be able to win without her, but she was also the person that was by his side at every trial. And he didn't want to break their tradition.

Not now. Not ever.

So when he heard Louis call Donna to the stand, he expected to see Rachel. As they had planned.

And that's why, when he heard the whole library break out in whispers, his gut told him that she had indeed come to the trial.

Seeing her walk up to the stand, Harvey slightly drifted off.

Was he the one who convinced her to come in? Did she come in because of Mike? Why did she come, when she'd insisted that she wouldn't? Why would she change her mind all of a sudden?

He didn't have time to think about it further, because suddenly he heard Louis ask, "Do you love Harvey Specter?" and his whole body stiffened as his head shot up. He looked at Louis and right after at Donna, who was as stunned as he was by the looks of it.

Waiting to hear her reaction, Harvey thought that Donna would say something or deny it. But she didn't. She just tried to change the subject as soon as possible.

It made Harvey wonder a little. Why didn't she say anything? Was there a chance that she didn't feel anything anymore? Could that be it?

Thinking about all the possibilities made Harvey's heart pick up a beat or two and his blood started boiling in his veins. What made it even worse, was Louis proceeding to ask more questions. Disturbing questions. Questions that he shouldn't have asked. Questions that made Harvey jump to her defense.

He knew that he shouldn't have done that. Fight her battles for her. He couldn't help it though. It was who he was. And there's also the fact that if he didn't, she would have been pissed at him — just like she was when he wasn't the one to fire her. When everything went to hell.

This time, though, he might have gone a little too far — judging by the way she looked like a deer caught in headlights.

She was embarrassed. And ready to disappear from everyone around her. Which she did.

Without wasting another second, Harvey followed her to the elevators, ready to stop her and talk. But she surprised him by rushing into his office instead. Harvey followed her silently and closed the door behind him.

He looked around his office and spotted her sitting in his chair, facing the window. Harvey walked closer to her and sat down beside her. He could see her being close to a breakdown at the library, but now? Taking a closer look at her features he can clearly see the tears silently streaming down her cheeks.

"Do you want me to kill him?" It didn't matter that Louis is his coworker, he would destroy him if it meant that she would smile again. Harvey hated seeing her upset.

Donna cracked a little smile and rolled her eyes. "I have to go back there, Harvey."

"You're not going in there again."

A frown appeared on Donna's face as she raised one eyebrow at him. "And why shouldn't I?"

Harvey hesitated which made Donna's patience grow thinner.

"Harvey?"

"I don't want you to go through that again," Harvey said as he grabbed her hands and threaded his fingers with hers.

"But I have to testify either way! And we both know that they will be way worse than Louis just was."

Harvey didn't answer right away, his mind racing all over the place until a realization struck him. With eyes wide and a grin on his face, he looked at Donna and said, "Maybe you don't have to testify at all..."

"What do you mean?"

"Maybe there's a way..."

"No," Donna refused straight away. "I'm not using spousal privileges, Harvey!"

"Why not?"

"Because everyone will find out!"

"And?"

"I'm not ready for that yet…" Donna trailed off.

Hearing that, Harvey sighed. Then he rested his head on her knees as he wondered out loud, "What am I gonna do with you?"

"Love me?" she teased, then added, "Despite—"

Which Harvey quickly interrupted. "There is no despite. I love you." He pressed his lips to her palm. Then added, "Always."

A few days after the trial Harvey was on a train back home from Boston. Just like the years before, he went alone. For the first anniversary he had wanted Donna there with him, but she told him something that had warmed his heart despite the pain he'd felt.

"I would love nothing more than to be there, Harvey. But I know that this is something you need to do by yourself. Just like the games you've had, this can be something you share with your dad, too."

Even now, a few years later, when he was mourning his father's loss in the midst of everything that was happening at the firm, those words brought a sudden rush of warmth to his insides whenever he'd thought about it.

A buzz coming from his phone brought him back from his thoughts. Checking his phone, he found a text from Jessica that he was needed. So, as he departed the train, the firm was the place he headed to first. While he drove through the streets of New York, his mind kept flashing to a memory he had almost forgotten about….

Listening to his father's records, Harvey took a sip from his tumbler as he stared at the view from his office.

Promotions, birthdays, anniversaries, and many more things he wanted to be happy about but couldn't. Not when the person he wanted to have by his side wasn't there. Two years' worth of happiness he traded in for grief.

Two years since he came into his office and was met with Donna's tearful eyes.

"Your dad. He had a heart attack." A sentence that changed his happiness to grief when he saw Donna nod as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. Not being able to do anything at that moment, Harvey just took a deep breath and uttered that it was okay, reassuring them both.

Yet they both knew that everything was far from okay.

He'd just lost the person he'd admired the most. The person that taught him everything he knew. And the person he turned to for advice whenever he needed it.

Not being able to crumble and fall in his wife's embrace, Harvey just turned away from her and whispered, "Oh my God" while he took everything in.

The days leading up to the funeral were spent in limbo.

Once they got home that day, they immediately made plans for the train ride and packed their bags. The next day they were off to Boston.

If it wasn't for Donna, Harvey knew that he'd be a mess. But it was her loving eyes and reassuring squeezes that held him above the breaking point. She was there, supporting him in every way he needed.

She was his compass. And he was goddamn lucky to have her.

Even a year into their marriage, he counted his blessings that she was still there for him.

She was his strength. And he didn't want her to see him crumble with weakness. Which is why he's been going to his father's grave alone on the anniversary of his passing.

He stepped off the train, bought a couple of bottles of his father's favorite beverage, and spent his day at the grave. Then, when it was time, he went back to the station and boarded a train home.

Before he reached the destination, a young boy passed by him holding a baseball mitt. Smiling softly to himself, Harvey's thoughts drifted and he was suddenly overcome with grief.

Looking out of the window, he saw that they were reaching the station, so he grabbed his things and headed towards the exit.

Closing the doors behind him, Harvey placed his coat on the nearest surface as he looked for Donna. Usually, he wouldn't be this clingy after a few hours apart, but this was different.

"Donna?" he wondered out loud as he looked around their new condo. Almost immediately came her response.

"On the balcony."

Following her voice, Harvey was met with Donna's sparkling hazel eyes and a smile that always managed to cure everything for him. Closing the distance between them, he wound his arms around her waist and brought her closer to him as he kissed her.

"Hi." Donna smiled as they parted.

Tucking her hair behind her ears, Harvey returned her smile. "Hi."

"How was it?" Donna asked.

"Good. Missed him…" Harvey trailed off. A moment passed before he took a deep breath and looked at Donna with teary eyes. "Donna…"

"I know." Seeing Harvey's eyes gloss over, Donna didn't waste another second. Closing the distance between them she enveloped him in her arms, resting her head on his shoulder while her arms wound up squeezing his back — bringing him closer.

Feeling his tears falling on her shoulder and then his head falling into the crook of her neck, Donna brought her lips to his neck. Peppering soft kisses, she softly whispered, "It's okay. Let it all out."

"I miss him."

"I know..."

"How'd go yesterday?" was the first question out of Jessica's mouth as she entered his office.

"Fine." Harvey smiled briefly, took a sip from his tumbler, and looked at Jessica as he wondered, "Mike pull it off?"

"

Yep."

Harvey grinned. "He suspected you were in on it?"

"Nope." Jessica shook her head. A moment passed before she tilted her head to the side slightly and looked at Harvey with a knowing look. "But I didn't come in here just to talk about that, Harvey…"

"Donna…"

Jessica noded. "You two okay?"

"Yes." Harvey sighed. "At least I hope so…"

"What do you mean?"

"We made up. But I'm not really sure if she would want to work here again."

Jessica frowned. "Harvey…"

"I know that she was fired but…"

"Harvey shut up and let me speak for once."

"I've known you for a long goddamn time. Before I shaped you into the lawyer you are today, you were like a lost soul parading through the mailroom. But when you met Donna? It was like something had switched inside of you. It's one of the reasons why I allowed you to bring her here. And while I don't have a problem with married couples working here, you two had decided to keep it under the wraps. Despite every struggle you have faced, she was there. By your side, no matter what…"

Jessica paused, looked at Harvey, and sighed before she continued. "If you're not sure if she wants to work here, then you have to talk to her about it. Just don't lose your marriage over this."

A few moments later, Harvey suddenly stood up.

"Where are you going?" Jessica wondered out loud.

"I'm getting Donna back." Not waiting for her input, Harvey left the office.

Ever since they made up, Harvey was glad that Donna had moved back into their place. That way they didn't have to alternate between places, and he wasn't sleeping without her anymore…

As he exited his car and made his way towards the building, Harvey was surprised to see Donna walking towards him… with grocery bags in her hands.

Frowning briefly, he closed the space between them. "Want some help with those, Mrs. Specter?"

"Harvey! What are you doing here? I thought you were in Boston…" Donna trailed off.

"I was, but I decided to take the earlier train home..." Harvey smirked.

"Why?" Donna wondered.

Still smirking, Harvey decided to change the subject. "You didn't have to go to the store."

"If I didn't, we'd have nothing to eat!"

"We will starve if you're the one that's cooking," he quipped.

Raising her eyebrow at him, Donna asked, "Are you gonna mock my skills or will you help your wife?"

Without replying, Harvey took the bags from her hands and led them to their condo.

They cooked, teased each other, ate, and once everything was cleaned up, they settled on the couch with Donna snuggled into Harvey's embrace as her legs were resting on his.

"Donna?"

"Huh?"

"I love you, you know that, right?"

"I love you, too." Shifting her head from his shoulder, Donna pressed her lips to his in a little peck.

Once they parted, Harvey could see her eyes twinkling. He smiled. Then, he squeezed her closer to him.

"Babe?" Donna furrowed her eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

"You know, in all the years that we've been together, I never had to wonder, or be scared of losing you. But this? You leaving me for a few days? I never want to experience that again..."

"And you won't," Donna interrupted him.

"What I'm trying to say is… I need you."

"Need?" she asked, confused.

"Need." Harvey nodded. Because this he was sure of. After everything they went through lately, keeping Donna by his side was way too important.

"But what about our rule? After all, you made it seem like I love you before everyone we know at the firm…"

"But you do love me… Do you remember that one time?" Harvey winked.

"That I do, but I'm not really sure if I will be able to handle getting my feelings for you questioned again."

"You won't."

Donna gave him a look, which stopped him from saying anything further. Instead, he said, "I can't be me without you, Donna. No matter where I am or what I do. You complete me. In more ways than I like to admit sometimes. And I can't imagi—"

His words got swallowed by her lips as she leaned closer and interrupted him with a kiss that slowly turned into a heated one.

Once they parted for oxygen, Harvey could see Donna smirk as she said, "You really do need me, huh?"

Taking that as an answer, Harvey leaned in and resumed their kiss.

The next day Harvey was standing in his closet, getting ready for work. Putting on his cufflinks, he looked himself over in the mirror before him and smirked. Wearing a three-piece black suit paired with a gray tie, he was sure that this day would go by smoothly.

That was until he strolled out of his closet and looked at the sight before him. Seeing Donna wearing that dress, he couldn't help himself but frown.

"What's wrong?" He heard Donna ask.

Closing the distance between them, Harvey wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her closer to him. "You have to change."

"Why?"

"I'm pretty sure that a V-neck is not appropriate for the office," Harvey deadpanned.

"And?" Donna raised her eyebrow.

Trailing a path of kisses down her neck, Harvey noted, "Your boss might have a problem with that."

Way too preoccupied with his task, Harvey didn't notice Donna's playful smirk as her eyes followed his movements.

"It's a shame. 'Cause I'm wearing it for my boss."

Stopping in his trial, Harvey moved his head from her neck and looked at Donna with a smirk. "Oh really?"

Donna nodded.

"Well then, your boss must be very lucky."

"You have no idea."

Securing his arms around her waist and bringing her closer, yet again, Harvey smiled as he leaned down to kiss her. "That I do."

Kissing him again, Donna adjusted his lapels. "We have to go."

"Why?" Harvey frowned.

"Wouldn't want to be late on my first day back. Who knows what my boss would do…"

Seeing that devilish smirks and those teasing eyes, Harvey chuckled. "I think I have a few ideas…"

He was finally able to breathe again when she agreed to his offer — even if it was under a few conditions. Making his way back to the firm, Harvey was ready for the day ahead of them. Because he knew that Donna, being Donna, would make an entrance. It was the actress in her that loved all the theatrics.

And he always liked that about her.

Even though he expected it, seeing it play out before him, made Harvey struggle to keep himself from bursting with laughter. Instead, he made a remark about how Cameron was a floating temp and that he would be on someone else's desk by the end of lunch. As expected, it pushed Donna's buttons. Seeing her sit down, Harvey made his way towards his desk and sat down himself. Then, he winked at her.

He might have seemed normal on the outside, but on the inside, he was feeling relieved, excited, and way too happy about her return.

She was finally back by his side. And everything felt right. Just like it was supposed to.

When he'd suggested that they go out for drinks, he didn't think that he'd find himself seated at a booth far enough from everyone, but close enough that he could hear his wife.

All week Mike had been moping around Harvey's office, talking about how he screwed up with Rachel — how this was the end of their relationship.

By Friday, Harvey had enough.

When he heard yet another comment about how miserable Mike was, he suggested that they go out and unwind. Because what better way was there to unwind than with a few drinks?

Though, unbeknownst to the younger associate, Harvey had other intentions, too. The bar they were having their drinks at was the same one his wife had a girl's night with her best friend. And Harvey, being the good husband that he was, waited in the corner booth until Rachel went home to take his slightly intoxicated redhead home.

Which, judging from the things he heard, wasn't that far off…

Seeing them seated at the bar near his booth, Harvey could hear them go on about lawyers, paralegals, and closers. Despite them spending their time together all day, Harvey couldn't resist the urge to smirk at the way Donna was different whenever she had a few drinks.

"...Specter."

His amusement quickly faltered when he heard his name drop from his wife's mouth. Raising his eyebrow, he looked at his watch and saw that Mike was in the bathroom longer than expected. So, as any man in his situation would do, he stood up and made his way to the bar.

"Jake? I think she's had enough…"

Chuckling with the bartender he was familiar with, Harvey turned to his right with a smile as he waited for Donna and Rachel to notice him.

"Hi. How are you?"

It didn't take long for the redhead to notice that they had company. Seeing a smile that almost matched his own, Harvey could see Donna turning towards him, ignoring her friend.

"Better now that I'm next to you." Harvey couldn't help himself. The atmosphere of this bar. The one where they met coupled with the way his wife looked — he felt as if he was transformed a decade ago...So he flirted. How could he not?

"Oh really?" Donna smirked as her eyes traveled all over him. "Do you use that line often, Mister?"

"That depends. Is it working?"

"I don't know. Is it?" Donna raised her eyebrow, challenging him.

Chuckling to himself, Harvey leaned closer to Donna and whispered, "Let's go home and I'll show you…"

Turning to Rachel, Donna sighed dramatically as she said, "I guess, I have to go... See you tomorrow, Rachel."

Once they exchanged their goodbyes and hugs, Harvey led Donna out of the bar and into his car. After making sure that she was alright, he got in himself and drove them home.

Sitting in his office, his new office, Harvey was struggling to keep himself calm. After the vote Hardman had him moved to the 46th floor and Harvey hated everything about it. Not only was the office smaller, but everything about the floor felt strange to him. Just like Donna said to him, he didn't belong with the bowties.

But here he was.

Not only was he forced to move, but he had to switch his office with Paul Porter. No matter how much time had passed, that idiot still didn't believe in technology.

Whenever he was in his old office, Harvey didn't have to push anything on the intercom to make Donna listen to him. But here, it was hopeless.

"Donna..." No matter how many times he pressed the buttons, Donna didn't hear him.

"Donna?" Cursing everything internally, but mostly Hardman, Harvey had enough and let go of the intercom. Instead, he decided to shout for her. Which paid off in the end, because not even a minute later, Donna was strolling into his office.

"Sorry, but apparently Paul Porter doesn't believe in technology," she deadpaned.

Without even looking away from the computer screen Harvey said, "I need the employment survey."

"Yeah, I'm working on it."

"It's not done?" Harvey wondered out loud.

"It's a survey of all 50 states."

"You gotta get on this. Mike could've done it in his sleep..." he trailed off.

Donna raised her eyebrow and then countered, "I'm sorry I don't have a photographic memory, but my brain is already too busy being awesome!"

At that Harvey smirked. "Only your brain?" Ever since she stepped into his office, his gaze focused on something other than the papers before him.

"Of course not, but those skills are no use in an office." Without missing a beat, Donna winked at him.

"Well," Harvey scooted away from his desk, stood up, and walked towards his wife, "your boss appreciates them either way." Looking around to check if someone was looking Harvey tried to sneak a hand up her leg but she took a step back.

"If you continue this, you might as well kiss the survey goodbye."

Harvey raises his eyebrow, challenging her, as he leans closer to her. His lips near her ear as he whispers, "And here I was hoping to kiss this pretty redhead."

"That would work if we were at home, but we're not." Seeing him roll his eyes, Donna smiled as she continued. "So, I'm gonna go back to that survey and you're gonna walk your pretty self to your desk and continue with what you were typing..."

"You could join me…"

"Harvey." This time it was Donna who rolled her eyes.

"I'm serious, Donna. I don't want to yell across the whole room for you again just because someone doesn't believe in technology. And this seems like a great solution. So, what do you say? Wanna come work on my desk?" Harvey asked with a slight smirk.

"That line is just as shameless as it was the first time around…"

"I didn't hear an answer…"

Donna rolled her eyes as she walked out of his office without saying anything, leaving Harvey standing there, still smirking.

Seeing Harvey's neck vein making its presence, Donna knew that he was more than pissed off after Louis left the office. Watching him throw that vase only confirmed it further.

So, a few minutes later, after she saw that he was still tense, she decided to step in.

Uncrossing her legs, she slid further into the desk and started trailing her foot up his ankle.

"Donna…" she heard him trail off, but she ignored it as she moved her foot higher up and put on an innocent look when she saw him raise his eyebrow.

"What?" she asked, sheepishly.

Harvey looked past her pointedly. "We're at work."

"So?" Donna raised her eyebrow. "There's no one here."

Seeing him sigh and relax his shoulders, Donna grinned as she continued with her task.

"Somebody give you a promotion?" Harvey asked once he entered his office and saw Donna sitting in his chair, facing the window.

"Somebody should." Donna smirked as she slowly turned around and Harvey could see that she was holding note cards in her hands. "Lopez buyout delayed. Phillips merger closed…" she started as she looked at him with a teasing twinkle before she continued, "Oh, and Zoe Simmons called. Which is odd, because I don't remember ever placing a call to Zoe..."

"So, that's why you're sitting at my desk."

"I wanted to be in a position of power when I toyed with you." Donna leaned over his desk.

"Let's get one thing clear. I'm not Charlie Brown, you're not Lucy, and that's not a football." Harvey leaned down and then whispered, "But those are two melons," as his eyes fell on her chest.

Donna couldn't help herself as she grabbed his arm. "Let's get two things clear. I don't remember ever placing a call to Zoe, but her message said she was calling back."

Noticing that she ignored his comment, Harvey furrowed his eyebrow. "I called her. For business."

"What kind of business?" Donna wondered.

"That is a surprise…" Harvey trailed off, grinning.

"Harvey…"

"Donna…"

"Don't make me use your full name," Donna threatened as she held his gaze.

"Okay. What are you, 12 years old?"

"That would make you the one robbing the cradle here." Donna smirked.

"I'm not robbing anything. You and I are the same age."

"So, you admit it." Donna tapped her fingers on the desk as she stood up and crossed the distance between them. "Just out of curiosity, who is Zoe?"

"She's someone I'd called when you were home…" Harvey trailed off.

Seeing that no one was in the hallway, Donna put her arms around Harvey's neck, came closer to him, and whispered in his ear, "Who is she, Harvey?"

Harvey grinned. "She's the receptionist at that place you wanted to go to in the Hamptons…"

Donna was speechless and wide-eyed.

"Don't tell me I don't know how to surprise you."

On Friday before their trip to the Hamptons, Harvey came back into the office after his meeting that ran a little late. The elevator dinged and opened to reveal Donna waiting there.

"You going home?" Harvey asked.

"Unless there's something pressing?"

"No, I was just gonna, uh—" he started, but Donna interrupted him as she pointed to the wall before them. "Hey, what happened here?"

"What are you talking about?"

"It's off."

"Looks fine to me."

"It isn't." Donna looked at him briefly as she walked to the name sign on the wall and touched the 'H'. "Wait a second. Your eye for detail? One record askew, and I don't hear the end of it for a week. "

"You scratched my Miles Davis!"

"That's why you brought it home?" Donna raised her eyebrow.

Ignoring her question, Harvey smugly said that it was him who punched the wall.

"What were you thinking?"

"I was pissed."

"You're so emotional." Donna chuckled.

"I lost my cool."

"You shouldn't have done that."

"I know."

"I shouldn't have hit Hardman." Donna revealed.

"You didn't." Harvey's eyes widened.

"I did."

"When?" Harvey asked.

"Right before Jessica's depo."

"Closed fist?"

"Open palm."

"Bitch slap!" This time, it was Harvey who grinned.

"Damn straight."

"That's my girl!" Harvey smiled, proudly. "How'd it feel?"

"Good enough that I did it again." They both laughed as they heard footsteps approaching them. Harvey looked behind Donna and saw Jessica dressed to the nines. "Look at you. You're beautiful. Do you have a date?" What he didn't see was how Donna's smile disappeared with his comment.

"As a matter of fact, I do. Bitter and barren, my ass," Jessica said as she pressed the button for the elevator.

"Someone special?" Harvey wondered.

"You never know. Could be the one." Jessica mused as she looked between the pair. The elevator signaled its arrival and she walked in. But not before she asked them to take down Hardman's name off the wall.

Harvey grinned. But then his grin disappeared as Jessica said "You're in trouble, Specter." which made him frown and panic slightly. But then he looked at Donna's raised eyebrow and sighed. He's in trouble, alright...

Walking closer to her, Harvey softly brushed her lower back as he said, "She might be beautiful, but you are breathtakingly gorgeous."

After Jessica left, Donna found a box for the letters and they slowly took them out of the wall. When they finished, Harvey closed the box and sighed.

"Now what?" Donna asked, looking at the semi-empty wall.

Harvey joined her. "I have no idea."

"Do you think there'll be another name on that wall?"

"Probably. Pearson…doesn't have the same ring."

"Pearson Paulsen sounds pretty good."

"How about Pearson Paulsen-Specter?" Harvey suggested.

"You didn't tell me that you were married!" Donna gasps, mockingly.

Harvey rolled his eyes. "It's been 7 years. You were the one in white..."

Weeks later, Harvey found himself talking to Mike at a gala the firm threw in celebration of their merger with Darby. While he hated black tie events with a passion, he knew that his attendance was important because it was a chance to score new clients.

It also didn't hurt that it was a black-tie event, which meant that Donna would go all out with her outfit.

Speaking of…

Usually, they would arrive together, mingle with potential clients and their co-workers. While it was odd for some of them that he'd bring his secretary as a date, Harvey didn't mind. He'd just say that it was them working together. But he knew better than that.

Events like these allowed him to be somehow open with their relationship. He'd joke around saying that he has to go and find his date when he didn't want to participate in a boring conversation with someone he was sure Louis would snatch in a blink. Instead, he'd just make an excuse and find his favorite redhead.

Though, this time was different.

This gala fell on a day he had a long meeting, so he suggested that Donna go to the event without him and he'd find her when he wrapped things at the office.

Arriving at the venue, dressed in the black three-piece Armani suit he donned at the office, Harvey got stopped by Mike, who asked him about the case.

While he talked about the case, his eyes followed the fiery redhead across the room. Ever since he stepped into the building, and found Donna, his gaze followed her everywhere she went.

He couldn't help himself when she was looking like this.

She was wearing a black strapless dress with an asymmetrical hemline with the skirt gathered at her left hip, leaving her thigh exposed. She was way too beautiful.

The flash of skin in contrast to her right side, where the hemline sat at her knee made him want to just run his fingers against the exposed skin. But he had to wait.

For now, he'd just settle on thanking his lucky chips because this breathtaking woman was somehow his.

"Harvey?"

Without taking his eyes from Donna's figure, Harvey asked Mike, "Yeah?"

"You're trying to score a date? Or is that how you score clients with her?" Mike smirked.

"Mike…"

"What?" Mike feigned innocence.

Seeing Scottie approaching and talking with Donna, Harvey rolled his eyes at Mike and strolled towards them. Once he reached them, he heard Donna say his name.

"What about me?" he asked with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Nothing important. We were just talking about how you're gonna cry now that I'm joining the firm…" Scottie smirked as she raised her eyebrow, challenging him.

"I wouldn't worry about that, Scottie," Harvey mused.

"Well, I guess I'll leave you to it…" Scottie said as she left

Once she left, Harvey turned to Donna and smirked.

"What?" Donna asked as she raised her eyebrow.

"Nothing…"

"Harvey…" Donna insisted.

"What?" He leaned closer to her and whispered, "You look stunning."

"Don't I always?" She grinned.

Harvey nodded, a smirk still plastered on his face. "You do. Especially naked in my bed."

"Not the time, nor the place, Harvey!" Donna chastised.

"But is it time for me to ask you to dance?" Harvey asked as he extended his arm. Which Donna took without hesitation.

As they made their way to the dance floor, Harvey saw someone looking at Donna from the corner of his eye. But he brushed it off, and instead took his wife into his arms, danced, and enjoyed the feeling of having her in his arms..
