Ginny had managed to fall asleep next to Harry after a healer had been and seen to Harry. She, like the rest of them, was gobsmacked that he had spoken but said it was due to trauma. The healer had said that it was probably best to keep Ginny near Harry because he responded well to her. The adults had been cautious but the healer had said Harry had hurt every one bar Ginny which meant he had some control. Which meant Ginny could sleep next to Harry for the night.
Ginny couldn't remember having such a peaceful night sleep, for the first time in nearly eight weeks she felt relaxed. Like everything was going to be okay.
When Harry woke up, he found the red-haired beauty with her arms wrapped around his torso. He smiled at her gently, how was it that someone so beautiful could exist? How was it that even when she had drool running down her face and her hair stuck to the pillow, she still managed to radiate safety and utter beauty? Harry thought it wasn't fair. Suddenly her arms tensed and Harry gasped as pain shot through his torso, he stiffened and tried to push Ginny away. She only gripped closer which made the pain worse, as he held in a scream, he gently shook Ginny away. Ginny for her part woke up and jumped backwards.
"Oh, My Merlin, I am so, so sorry!" she said quickly. Suddenly she stopped and stared at him with wide eyes
"Wait... You're awake. YOU'RE AWAKE. Oh, My Merlin-" she gushed. Harry winced
"Stop" he whispered. Ginny however seemed not to hear him as she rambled.
"Oh my, Harry, you had us so worried! I need to get the others" but as she turned to shout for them Harry shouted
"NO" Ginny froze in place. He sounded terrified, she whirled around as he shrunk back into the bad, almost afraid of his own voice. Then before Ginny could react, he started hitting himself in the face as tears streamed down his face.
Ginny launched into action, she grabbed his hand and stopped him, whispering soothing words, asking what was wrong. Harry merely looked at her and cried even harder, she pulled him into a hug, rocking him backwards and forwards. Slowly his breathing evened as he stopped crying, when he did Ginny pulled away.
"Harry, it's okay, you're not with him anymore you are safe." Harry shook his head and began imitating a pen a paper. Ginny pulled some from her back pocket.
Hurt you
Ginny sighed and looked him in the eye, gently she leaned forward and kissed his forehead
"You didn't hurt me harry; I fell off the bed. It's okay."
I left for weeks. I left you when I said I wouldn't
"It's not like you had a choice. You were kidnapped Harry; I don't blame you. Besides look at you, you came out worse!" as Harry looked at himself, he conceded that maybe she had a point. His ankle was strapped up, his none writing hand was bruised and a throbbing pain was shooting down his side.
"Harry, you know I'm going to have to call them. The healer needs to look at you" she persisted but Harry shook his head.
Just you Ginny, you're safe
Ginny melted at the statement and walked towards Harry. She grabbed his healed hand and placed it on her chest
"Harry..." before Ginny could stop him, Harry, in a show of strength he shouldn't have pulled her into bed with him. She tried moving but Harry gripped tighter. Ginny sighed.
"Fine, five minutes Harry but then I am getting that Healer." She could feel Harry chuckle, yeah, she knew that she wasn't getting away that easy as she began falling asleep again.
