Ginny sometimes wished she had never met Harry Potter. She knew it was a horrible thought but it was true. Her life would certainly be a lot simpler if she hadn't fallen for him, it would cause a lot less heartbreak. Still, she knew if she had the choice she would have met him anyway. He was intoxicating, dangerously intoxicating.

Yet as she sat across from Petunia she cursed Harry's name. Petunia was shaking as Remus placed a blanket around her. Ginny still wasn't what had happened but from what she could understand Harry had completely lost his mind and nearly killed someone. She wished she could say that it was unbelievable but she knew Harry had a dark side, one he tried so hard to repress.

Right now however she had bigger things to contend with as she left the room in search of her two eldest brothers. She found them in the infirmary, Fred had his leg elevated and George had gauze wrapped around his head. Sirius was sat beside them, filling them in. The room went quiet as she walked in however, she said nothing as she stalked towards them and threw herself on a chair. The men turned to look at her apprehensively. She took in a deep breath
"I need a holiday, I'm going to kill him, then I'm going to kill Voldemort and go and holiday, what do you say?." She asked. George chuckled
"Whatever you need baby sister" he replied. Fred tried sitting up but Sirius stopped him, telling him to rest.
"You know... When he comes back I am so pranking him!" he yelled. Ginny nodded and turned to him.
"How are you feeling?" she asked. Fred shrugged
"Well other than a shattered bone, I'm fine. It's George that's holy now!" Ginny shook her head and turned to the other twin.
"Can they fix it?" she asked. George shook his head
"No but it's okay, makes me unique doesn't it?" he asked. Ginny laughed, she then spent the rest of the night with her brothers as she tried to make sense of just what the hell happened.

As one week turned into two Ginny realized Harry may not come back. So she began searching his study, looking for any sign of where he could have gone. She kept coming up empty though as his ramblings honestly made no sense. He often mentioned something called a Horcrux which she found was an extremely dark magical anomaly. Then he had books and papers on the founders of Hogwarts. None of it made sense, she had even gone as far as to read his diary. Which both concerned her and warmed her heart. It depicts a picture of anger and violence with slithers of love added in. He mentioned a voice in his head, telling him to commit atrocious acts. Acts which Harry should have no business committing but then, every so often there were happy moments. Moments of joy with the twins, calm with Petunia and Remus and hilarity with Sirius. There were moments of sheer love and warmth with her. Ginny clung onto those entries, hoping against hope that those moments would bring Harry back.

The boy in question was 350 miles away, in an abandoned cave. He stalked into the cave, another beefy boy following suit. Together the two walked forward into their impending doom, jumping into a boat and sailing across the lake.

When they reached the other side Harry turned to his cousin, his cousin nodded and sat down. In front of them stood a pedestal filled with water. Harry looked to the other boy with pleading eyes, Dudley nodded and slowly began cupping the water. He tipped the water up into Harry's mouth and waited. When it seemed Harry was okay he poured some more water into his cousin. After a while, the water began disappearing, as did Harrys ability to stand. The more water he drank the more weak he became, Dudley wished he could stop but he had promised harry he would see it through. They had been through too much over the past three weeks to give up now. So he poured water down Harry's throat as it slowly killed him and he grabbed the locket which lay underneath.

Then as he tried helping Harry up fearsome zombies came out from the waters murky depth. Well, Dudley thought they were Zombies at least. He stalked towards him with lifeless eyes and Dudley began panicking, hitting the first one that came near him.

Yet more and more kept coming, like a swarm and Dudley mentally prepared himself for death, he knew he couldn't fight all of them and keep Harry alive. Yet just as he was about to welcome death he felt something tug in his abdomen and opened his eyes to see the world around him swirl as colours blended into one. He closed his eyes trying to prevent himself from being sick, only opening them when his feet landed on something solid.

When he opened his eyes he was in a forest with colours cast far and wide. He glanced around the forest he saw two men approaching, both holding out wands. Dudley glanced down at his cousin, desperately praying for him to open his eyes and when he didn't he pulled the younger boy behind him. He would take on two wizards for Harry, he had to.

Yet as they approached Dudely felt slightly relieved when he recognised one of them.
"Dudley?" he asked. Dudley gulped
"Get my mum, we need my mum" Lupin was about to ask who 'we' was when he noticed Harry behind Dudley.
"Sirius, get Petunia" Sirius went to protest, not seeing Harry nor recognising Dudley but Remus silenced him.
"Padfoot! We need Petunia, I am not about to fight Dudley to get to Harry and both boys need help." At his words Sirius noticed his godson lying unconscious before him and sent a Patronus to Petunia.

Remus took a step forward, Dudley took a step back.
"Dudley, we won't hurt you but I need to get to Harry," he said quietly. Dudley shook his head
"No, nobody touches Harry until I see mum!" he yelled. He and Harry had been through hell and Dudley was not about to let Harry be touched by two men. Not when men had hurt him before.

Sirius growled
"Look kid either you move or I make you!" he seethed. Dudley stiffened but refused to move.
"I don't know who you are! You could hurt Harry"
"Since when do you care about Harry!" Sirius yelled. He raised his wand to immobilize Dudley when Remus stopped him.
"Sirius stop, He was a victim too. Dudley, can you do me a favour? We'll put our wands down if you do" he pleaded. Dudley nodded.
"Can you feel for his pulse? I just want to make sure he is breathing?" Dudley did as he asked and relayed that yes he was breathing however he was breathing very slowly.

Remus told Dudley he was doing a good job and asked Sirius to get Petunia quickly. It was a couple of minutes later Petunia entered the fold, gasping in shock. It had been months since she had last seen her son.
"Dudley?" she asked. Dudley nodded
"Please mum... help him" Petunia jumped into action, ushering everyone inside. Sirius helped carry Harry and lay him on the table as Dudley told everyone that he had drunk poison.

The adult got to work on stabilising Harry, calling in for their contact at St Mungos. After a few hours, they managed to stabilise the boy.

In those hours Dudley told his mother what had happened. He had said that Harry had appeared in Dudley's dorm room and asked for his help. Dudley felt like he had to help, so Harry apparated them away. He told Dudley of his mission to rid the world of Horcruxes, they had managed to find 5 of them. The ring Harry had tracked to the Gaunt house. Dudley had then asked to visit knock turn Alley, to see how the wizards lived. In Borgin and Burkey they found the cup and a vanishing cabinet. The owner had told them that the cabinets sister was at Hogwarts. This had formed a plan in Harry's head, he could find the chamber and get a basilisk fang to destroy the Horcruxes.

So he sent Dudley back to their hotel and entered Hogwarts and emerged with the fang and the Diadem. Dudley didn't know how he found the diadem but had helped harry destroy it.

Harry had also researched Tom Riddles life history and linked him to the cave. Something to do with a class trip. Harry had asked Dudley to make sure he drank the position and then had somehow got them away to safety.

A lot was missing that Dudley didn't know but somehow the adults got the picture and just listened in awe. Of everything Harry could have been doing they never pictured him kidnapping his cousin and going on a solving spree.

A solving spree that didn't necessarily work for when they opened the locket they found a note. The note said that the real locket had been stolen and signed by someone called R.A.B.

At this Dudley began to feel sick, just who was R.A.B and why did he betray Voldemort?.
