Limping into the Great Hall for supper were the villagers of Berk. All of them feeling pain filling them to the cores of their souls. After Stoick had given control of Berk over to Grimmel the night before, the people of Berk had been forced into slave labor. If they refused to do the work, the Dragon Hunters would give punishment to them whether it be beatings, being whipped, or anything that would inflict pain to those Berkians that refuse to work. They all wished that this was all just a nightmare, but sadly it was not.

Slowly sitting down at a table was four twenty-one year old adults. Their names are Snotlout, Fishlegs, Tuffnut, and Ruffnut. All four of the young adults are wearing shackles around their wrists and feet like the rest of the villagers. "Ow, I'm hurt. Very much hurt," complains Tuffnut while he

takes his seat at the table with his friends and sister.

"Yeah, no kidding," agrees Ruffnut while she also takes her seat at the table. Ruffnut and Tuffnut are twins that are loyal followers of Loki. So, it was not to anyone in the village's surprise that the twins would be the ones to receive the most punishment for not following orders. The two Loki followers barely followed Stoick's orders let alone their captors.

Fishlegs is beside himself with fear while sitting in his chair. Fishlegs prides himself for his dragon knowledge and not for his warrior skills. "We're so doomed," Fishlegs cries in panic. The other three rolled their eyes at the statement of their friend. The three young adults know that they had more courage than Fishlegs. The three adults also had more faith that they would get out of this mess more then Fishlegs did.

Snotlout just sat in his seat lost in his thoughts about if Hiccup and Astrid are truly alive. The heir of Berk just could not figure out if Grimmel is telling the truth about Hiccup and Astrid. He felt mixed emotions about this. On one hand, if it was true Hiccup and Astrid were alive, he was glad. He never wanted his cousin and crush to be dead. On the other hand, if Grimmel's telling the truth that Hiccup and Astrid did betray the Viking way, he would be disappointed that they not only turned their backs to the Viking way but also their village as well.

Just when Snotlout was going to speak, the doors of the Great Hall slammed opened, and two Dragon Hunter guards came in dragging two strangers into the front where their leaders are. The two strangers are wearing odd armor that appears to be made out of discarded dragon scales and leather. Once they are a few feet in front of their leaders, the guards throw the strangers closer to the leaders. "We've found these two dragon riders roaming the outskirts of the village," one of the guards told their chief.

That shocked the villagers that dragon riders were on their island. What were these dragon riders doing on Berk? That was a question the citizens of Berk were asking themselves. "Well, what do we have here? A couple of dragon riders far from home," taunting Grimmel.

The dragon riders' eyes widen when they see Grimmel, Johann, Viggo, and Alvin. The two dragon riders did not know who Grimmel was, but they did know he was bad news as well. The both of them had been hoping that they would not run into Johann or anyone else that the trader allied with. Now the both of them had to find a way out of this mess they found themselves in.

"Where are Hiccup and Astrid hiding at?" asked Alvin, wanting to get to the point. When the chief of the Outcasts found out that the feared Dragon Master is the son of his archenemy, he knew that it would make his revenge on the two Haddocks even sweeter. He just could not wait to make the two Haddocks suffer for all the wrongs they did to him and his tribe.

"We're not goin to tell ya that," Forde replied confidently. If these enemies think that Forde and Harold would release that information to them, they had another thing coming if they truly thought that.

"I guess we've to beat it out of-," threatened the chief of the Outcasts, but before he could finish, he was interrupted by the Night Fury killer.

"Now, Alvin. Let's not resort to violence, because I've got a better idea. You two spies can go back to wherever you came. Once there, tell Hiccup all about what you saw and tell him that Grimmel would like a word with him. Don't forget to tell him to bring that Night Fury of his as well. If he and his dragon don't show up here, the people of Berk will pay for his actions," says Grimmel with an evil smirk. He knows little about Hiccup but what he did know is that he would not leave these people to suffer. Now, all they had to do was wait for the former heir to show up and try to save his former people.

The two quietly and quickly left the room, leaving the Berkians even more surprised. If these dragon hunters were right about Hiccup and Astrid, then that would mean that Hiccup or the Dragon Master's dragon is a Night Fury. The story of the Dragon Master is that his dragon is as dark as the night sky. A dragon that most did not know what species it was.

Everyone who was old enough to remember recalled that Hiccup had a bit of a fascination with hunting down Night Furies. In fact, most of his inventions were meant to hunt down Night Furies. Most remembered the former heir, weeks before he vanished, claiming to have shot down a Night Fury in a dragon raid. 'Okay, but I hit a Night Fury.' Hiccup's words ran though the minds of most of the villagers of Berk. In that moment, Stoick figured out why Grimmel was hell bent on finding Hiccup. He wanted to kill the Dragon Master's Night Fury. But it still did not make any sense to Stoick about Hiccup being the Dragon Master. If Hiccup truly did shoot down a Night Fury, why did he not kill the dragon when he had the chance? Why did he choose to befriend and fly the unholy offspring of lightening and death? These were the questions that most of Berk wanted the answers to.

Things are starting to look interesting for the Berkians. Are Hiccup and Astrid truly alive? Will they show up to save them from this hell? Would they answer all their unanswered questions around all this mess? Now they have to wait and see if both of the missing teens could save them. Maybe then they would have all of these questions answered.

The next day on New Berserkers Island, we find Hiccup waiting outside of Ingrid's hut. Ingrid is the healer of the Berserker Tribe. Astrid and Hiccup had gone to Ingrid's hut to check if Astrid could bare any children. All Viking weddings had to have the bride check to see if she could get pregnant. Both Astrid and himself had no doubts that she could bare children. Walking out of the hut with a smile is Astrid and Hiccup could tell that she was healthy. Hiccup is running towards Astrid and once he is in front of his girlfriend he picks her up, and starts to spin her around with a big smile on his face. While Hiccup does this, Astrid lets out a giggle just as happy as her boyfriend is. A second later, she stopped and pretended to not have let out a giggle. Hiccup knew not to bring up that she giggled because he did not want to be punched in the shoulder. The two of them are glad that they could make a family of their own in the future.

The both of them wanted to have their own family in the future. The both of them also wanted a least two kids because they both were only children in their families. They knew how lonely they have been growing up on Berk being only children in their families. They did not want their future children to be as lonely as they were. But before they have kids, the young couple knew they needed to stop the Dragon Hunters for good. They wanted their children to grow up in a world where humans and dragons were at peace with one another.

Stormfly and Toothless were watching the scene. When Astrid went to Ingrid's hut, the both of them were worried because they know that humans go there if they were sick or hurt. Seeing that their riders were very happy melted the worry away from the dragons as they too join in the little celebration. All was good in the world for the two dragons and their riders.

A few hours later, the young couple are walking towards the village center for their wedding rehearsal with their dragons following behind them. The young couple were still over the moon about the future they will share with each other and the family they will create together. Hiccup just could not stop smiling because he was going to have a family, he was a part of. Growing up without his mother who left his father and him for dragons, and his father being more concerned about the village over his own son had made Hiccup feel like he did not fit in anywhere in Berk. Hiccup had always wanted to be in a family where he could belong in, and to be accepted for who and what he was. Now he finally has the chance to be a part of a family he belongs in.

When the two dragon riders and their dragons made it to the center of the village, they see that Dagur, Heather, Eret, and their dragons are waiting for them. "Well, let's begin with the rehearsal," Heather says with a warm smile. Just when they were about to start the rehearsal, they heard yelling.

"Chief Dagur, we're back with some troubling news about Berk!" Harold shouted as Forde and he ran towards the five dragon riders and their dragons. Yesterday, Heather had asked them to check on Berk and the both of them agreed and a few hours later they made it to Berk. Leaving their dragons in a cove in the forest that Hiccup told them about. What they've seen was that Berk had been taken over by the dragon hunters, but unfortunately, they were caught by some guards. After the leaders of the dragon hunters let them go, they went back to the cave for their dragons to take cover in. Once in the air, the both of them landed in an uninhabited island to not only sleep for the night but also to make sure they are not being followed. Grateful that they were not being followed, they rested on the island. Once morning came, they were back in the air heading back home to deliver the news.

"What happened?" asked Dagur, alerting the other four dragon riders beside him as Harold and Forde came to them.

"Berk has been taken over by the dragon hunters," reported Forde. Dagur, Heather, Eret, Astrid, and Hiccup's eyes all widen in shock. Shame, guilt, worry, and horror filled the two former Berkians. This was what they did not want to happen to their former home. Astrid is very worried about her parents. She had always felt guilty of leaving them behind on Berk but now they need her back. She was now determined to save them.

"Oh, my Thor. Did anything else happen?" Heather asked, horrified of the news they received.

"We learned that Johann had joined forces with Viggo, Alvin, and some guy named Grimmel," Harold answered. Hearing the names of some of their toughest enemies on Johann's side shocked them to their cores. Hiccup, Astrid, Heather, and Dagur did want to know who this Grimmel character is. Eret's eyes widen even more when he heard Grimmel's name. If Johann did have Grimmel on his side, they were in some serious trouble or walking into a trap. He just hopes that he does not know about Toothless.

"Excuse me, but did I hear you say Grimmel," asked Eret nervously. The other riders are looking at the former trapper confusedly. They wonder how Eret knew of this Grimmel person.

"Yeah, he seems interested in Hiccup and Toothless," answered Harold truly. Hiccup and Toothless looked very more confused when hearing this information. Who was this Grimmel man? Why is he interested in both Hiccup and Toothless? Astrid, she had given a hard glare when she heard this information. She may not know who this Grimmel guy is, but she would be damned if she lets him harm Hiccup or Toothless. Eret looked even more nervous and horrified with this information out.

"That's what I was worried about. Hiccup you have to tread cautiously," warns Eret as he looks at Hiccup worriedly.

"Eret, who is Grimmel?" questions Astrid to the former trapper. She did notice that Eret looked at Hiccup worriedly and that raised red flags in her mind. Why was he warning Hiccup to be careful? Was Grimmel really that dangerous to Hiccup and Toothless?

"Grimmel is one of the cleverest dragon trappers known in the northern region. Old man Grimmel is also known as the Night Fury killer. He is the reason you don't find Night Furies flying around. My guess is that Johann required his help to take down Hiccup and Toothless. I mean who better at knowing how to take down a Night Fury than him," replies Eret. Once he heard of Night Fury killer, Toothless growls very livid. The nightly dark dragon knows that Night Fury is what humans called his species. So when he heard that this Grimmel had killed his species, Toothless was not a happy camper to learn that the reason he has been alone for most of his life was because of this man named Grimmel. The other riders now know why Eret warned Hiccup to be careful. This Grimmel had committed genocide on the Night Fury population.

Now he knows of Toothless and he wants to kill the dragon. Hiccup was not going to let that happen. He would rather be killed than to allow that to ever happen. "Bud, I'm not allowing Grimmel to kill you. He'll have to go through me first," promised Hiccup to his best friend. Toothless rolls his eyes at what his rider says, because he has a feeling that he would have to save his reckless human best friend.

Astrid grabbed Hiccup like her life depended on it and said, "I'm not even going to let him get his hands on you or Toothless." She meant every word because she just could not lose the love of her life or the adorable Night Fury.

"Did anything else unusual happen as well," Dagur seriously asks.

"The weirdest thing was that somehow the hunters have dragons on their side," Forde answers. This leaves Hiccup, Astrid, Heather, and Dagur shocked to hear. Did the dragon hunters have an alpha dragon now? How did the hunters even get their hands on alpha dragon in the first place? Eret has a feeling how this is happening and Grimmel's name is written all over it. "Grimmel also said that if Hiccup and Toothless didn't show up, Berk would pay the consequences of that action," Forde reported.

"Hiccup this is obviously a trap," Eret states. Trap or no trap, Hiccup was not going to let Berk suffer for his own actions. Astrid could tell what Hiccup was thinking of doing, and she was going to stop him from doing something reckless.

"Hiccup don't," Astrid ordered, hoping to stop her boyfriend from doing what he was thinking of doing.

"Hiccup, at least tell us if you have a plan first," requested Heather, also knowing what Hiccup is thinking on doing.

"Here is what we're going to do. Astrid and Heather, I need you to find the Berkians and free them. Dagur and Eret, I need you guys to keep their dragons' attention on you guys. I'll keep the attention of Grimmel, Johann, Alvin, and Viggo long enough to pull this rescue mission off." Astrid did not need to reply to this with the glare she sent to Hiccup's way. It was clear that she did not support this even in the slightest. Hiccup also knows that an angry Astrid was very bad for his health. "Come on, Astrid. Everyone on Berk would listen to you over anyone else here." Astrid was still glaring daggers at him. "Besides, don't you want to see your parents? I know that you miss them deeply so." Hiccup tries to get Astrid's support on this and fails once again at it. She is still glaring at him, not amused. Hiccup laughs nervously while also smiling, knowing full well that he lost to his girlfriend who he was marrying tomorrow.

"Brother, remember this because it'll save you in the future. Your wife is always right, even when she is wrong," Dagur advises while laughing at Hiccup's misfortune. He knows that no matter how much better at fighting Hiccup gets, Hiccup will never beat Astrid at fighting. He remembers a time when Hiccup put his foot down when Astrid was temporary blind. Even blind Astrid still kicked his ass.

No not another cliffhanger how evil of me do something like at after returning my week break. All serious guys I'm sorry had to take a break last week. The last chapter I kept running into writer's block so one of reason for the short break was to think of some ideas for this story. One of those ideas was how to bring Light Fury into the story. In which I do plan on doing within the next few chapters. Also ideas of a future chapter only forcing on Toothless and Light Fury I was thinking about. Still not have an idea for the Toothless and Light Fury chapter. Anyway there other reasons but they're personal so I wouldn't share what happened. Anyway I do want to thank everyone for their follows, favorites, and reviews on this story so far. I do hope you all are doing well and are staying safe out there. See you guys hopefully with another chapter in this story and have a wonderful day. :D
