Waking up from being knocked out was Hiccup. The last thing he remembered was seeing that white dragon before everything went black. The first thing he notices is that he is sitting in a chair. The young man also realizes that his wrists and feet are tied to said chair. Panic starts to fill him up immediately. He had to find a way to escape from here. He tries to break himself out of his bonds, but sadly, he was not strong enough to break the ropes. "I would advise against that if I was you. Unless you want to cut yourself. If that's what you want, then go right on ahead and I won't stop you." Hiccup had heard an unknown voice warn him.

Hiccup looks towards where the voice came from. The auburn haired man could hardly see in the barely lit room. Hiccup asks, "Who are you?"

"I got to hand it to you. I didn't think you would get on this ship without your pet Night Fury, Dragon Master. Or should I address you by your real name, Hiccup Haddock?" The unknown voice responds to Hiccup's question. Then the stranger came closer towards the tied-up dragon rider so he could see him more clearly. That is when Hiccup figured out that this stranger is Grimmel.

That is when Hiccup also realized he did not have his armor and helmet on. He figured that they must have confiscated them while he was unconscious. "Hiccup is just perfectly fine with me," Hiccup replies to the Night Fury killer.

"You and I aren't so different after all. We're both in a world where it favors brute strength, while the both of us had to use our heads to defeat our enemies. Though, we both took different paths to get where we're at now," the older man told the dragon rider while pouring himself some wine, taking a drink from his cup before he would add to his statements. "While I did the right thing and killed the first of many Night Furies I've caught, you, however, decided that freeing your Night Fury was for the best for whatever reason. But it's not too late for you to do the right thing and hand me the Night Fury. And I promise no harm will come your way or the people you love. You're a smart lad, so do the right thing."

"Thanks for the offer, but no thanks," Hiccup politely turns down the offer. He just could not live with himself if he handed over Toothless to this man. He still believes that he might still save this man from the dark path he took. Because he believes everyone deserves a second chance.

"Foolish boy! The world that you seek can't exist where dragons and humans living side by side as partners peacefully together, because we as humans are superior to those wing demons. Now your father had the right idea. Wanting to destroy all of the dragons, so that you could live in a world without those blasted beasts to terrorize innocent people. But since you want to be a stubborn mule, take him away and do whatever you want to him, but don't kill him. We need information out of him," snapped Grimmel as Hiccup was freed from the chair and was dragged away to a new room by Alvin and Viggo.

Meanwhile, back on Berk where we left off with Astrid. "Oh, no. Hiccup," Astrid cried while she ran towards her dragon. Before she could make it to Stormfly, she was stopped by some of the villagers blocking her way. "Um, guys, could you please move out of my way?" asked the dragon rider impatiently. She just had to get to the love of her life. She just cannot imagine a world without him being beside her. He needs help and she was going to be there for him no matter what.

"What do you mean Hiccup is in trouble? How do you even know?" Snotlout, who was one of the ones blocking her path, asked her. He was just very curious about how she would know that. He was also generally worried for his cousin's safety if this was true.

"Sweetie, let us help you," Hilda requested, not wanting to lose her daughter just when she had got Astrid back.

"If Hiccup is truly in trouble, Astrid, we could help you out. Besides, we'd all like to get revenge for what they did to our home," said Stoick. Even though his son had turned his back to the Viking ways, he still loved and missed his son deeply. So, if Hiccup was in trouble, Stoick was going to do everything in his power to save him. Plus, the chief of Berk wanted revenge for how his people were treated by their captors.

"Alright, you guys can come," answers Astrid. The young woman knows they do not have a lot of time right now. She knows that it would be difficult to convince them to stay in the cove, so she might as well bring them with her. It would not hurt anyone to have some backup if need be.

As Astrid leads the Berkians back to their village, Alvin and Viggo were finishing up torturing Hiccup. Alvin is throwing Hiccup's bloody body like a rag doll in the cage next to a certain white dragon. Hiccup's back hit the bars hard before falling to the ground with a sickening thud. Coughing from the wind being knocked out of his lungs from the impact of the floor. "I hope you're comfortable in there. It's made for a future chief of Berk," Alvin mocked the former heir sarcastically while he closed the door before he locked it. Once that was done, the chief of the Outcast tribe left laughing.

All of this noise woke up the white dragon from her nap. Seeing the battered human, the white dragon growls. If it was not for the muzzle she was wearing, she would have blasted the injured human. She does not trust any human because all humans she had come across have been nothing but cruel to her. Like the two humans that caught her six months ago. In those six months, the evil humans would beat her while she was chained down and unable to defend herself. They would barely feed her just enough to prevent her from dying. But deep down, she was terrified that she would never be free. That she would die a prisoner to these humans.

Hiccup crawls with the little energy he has left to the furthest side away from the white dragon. The dragon seemed to calm down when he was not close to it. The dragon rider did not take it personally that the white dragon was hostile towards him. He figured that it might have been scared of him. But the state of the dragon had worried him deeply. It looked it was malnourished. It was then that he promised himself that he will get the both of them out of here. To do that, he knows first he has to get some his energy back to have the strength to save both of them. So, he closes his eyes and let sleep wash over him.

As this is going on, back with Astrid with the Berkians, they had made it back to the village. Running through the village is Astrid and the villagers. With each step she took, the more worried Astrid became for Hiccup's and Toothless's well-being. The both of them just have to be alright she hoped. When they did run into dragon hunters, they were immediately taken care of.

When the group came to the docks, they heard Heather comfort a very worried Toothless. "It's going to be okay, Toothless. We'll get him back. I promise." The second the Night Fury's eyes land on the blonde rider, he runs towards her. Seeing the black dragon quickly heading towards them causes the Berkians to pull out their weapons, ready to attack the unknown dragon that was heading towards them. Stopping his run is Toothless when he sees the Vikings pulling out their weapons. The dark scaled dragon growling while bearing his fangs. Toothless's back arched upwards and his pupils are dilated into slants. Charging up a plasma blast. A warning sign to whoever dared to attack him, would meet that plasma blast head on.

"Everyone, put away your weapons now!" Astrid screamed her demands so all of the Berkians would hear her. Luckily, just before any villagers could make a fatal mistake.

"No! That unholy devil was about to attack us, Astrid!" Stoick replies with agreements from his people. Being called and I quote 'unholy devil,' Toothless growls louder while turning a glare towards the chief, with that charged up plasma blast still in his mouth, ready to shoot at the man. Astrid shakes her head in frustration at them. Honestly, she did understand that from their point of view, it looked like Toothless was attacking them. Now, she has to explain to a group of stubborn of Vikings that the Night Fury was not attacking them.

"Toothless wasn't going to attack you. He was most likely running towards me. Now, would you all please put away your weapons?" Astrid explains while trying to keep everyone calm. It felt odd to her being the voice of reason. That job was mostly done by Hiccup. That left the Berkians in a state of shock. This is what Night Furies looked like? All of the Berkians were a little disappointed about the size of the dragon. They thought that Night Furies were a larger size due to their fearsome reputation. Still, they all put their weapons away like Astrid asked of them. All of the villagers were keeping a weary eye on the dragon.

The moment the last Berkian put away his weapon, Toothless cancelled the charged blast. Toothless's back went back to normal while his pupils widen back to their normal size as well. Toothless walks towards Astrid, cautious of the villagers with her. He trusted the woman to keep them from attacking him, but he did not know any of these villagers. When he reached Astrid, he rubs his snout against her stomach while whining worriedly for his missing best friend.

After Toothless left Hiccup on the ship, the Night Fury was attacked by a large group of dragons in the air. At first, he tried to use his alpha influence on them, but surprisingly that did not work. So, he had to try to fight them off. Unfortunately, there were too many of them to fight at once. There was only one thing left he could do. That was to made a quick retreat before he faces serious injury, or even death. It took a bit of time, but the black dragon had lost them. While he was flying away from the dragons, he wished Hiccup was with him because his human was always quick with ideas to help them out. When the nightly colored dragon had lost the rogue dragons, he headed back to the docks where the ship was last seen at. When he had made it back to where he left his human, he was shocked to see that the ship was not there anymore. He then shoots a special plasma blast to get some help to save his human.

"Toothless, where is Hiccup?" asked Astrid, worried. It was rare for her to see Toothless without Hiccup. Most of the time when you saw Hiccup, his Night Fury was not far behind. Toothless lifts up his tail so Astrid could see the automatic prosthetic tail-fin, knowing that his rider's mate would notice the tail fin immediately since she is the only human besides Hiccup who knows about the tail fin. And the dark dragon was right about Hiccup's mate recognizing the tail. "The automatic tail fin," Astrid states worriedly.

She knows that the Night Fury despises that certain tail fin. If Toothless was wearing it, then Hiccup was in serious trouble. Where was the missing dragon rider at right now? That is also the moment Astrid had realized that the ship she saw earlier was now gone. Everything started to make sense to the young woman. She had thought that Hiccup had changed his mind about going to their enemies alone too easily. At the time, she just thought that Hiccup was just trying to keep his promise that he made three days ago. The promise that they would start to do things as a team rather than alone.

He must be on that ship and now she is as determined to save Hiccup, and once he is safe, her love of her life was going to get the a** chewing of the century before she punches his arm as hard as she can. If one of those b*** had the gall to harm the love of her life, they would face her full wrath. "Toothless, why did you let Hiccup go alone on that ship? You know full well how reckless he could get if you let him," questions Astrid, disappointed at the dragon. She knows yelling at Toothless, who was already regretting whatever caused the dragon to agree to Hiccup's plan, would not help them. It also would not solve anything about Hiccup's whereabouts.

"The automatic what? Hold a Thor minute, Astrid. Toothless had a tail fin that allowed him to fly on his own. When did brother Hiccup create that?" Dagur asked his fellow dragon rider, confused as to when Hiccup built that tail fin. With that being said, the villagers all were left stunned by the deranged heir showing up to Berk. None of them have heard or seen anyone from the Berserker tribe in a few years. It was like that whole tribe had disappeared completely from the face of the Archipelago.

"Hiccup created it almost six years ago. Back to the first Snogglelog we celebrated together. That's when we learned dragons had their offspring around that time. Hiccup was feeling guilty because Toothless couldn't join the others. So, he spent the whole night creating the tail. But unfortunately, Hiccup figured it out that Toothless didn't like it. Toothless destroyed the original one, but Hiccup convinced him to not destroy this one only, just in case he was in trouble and Toothless needed to get help," answered Astrid as she took off the prosthetic. Once it was off, she picks it up and heads towards Hiccup's saddle bag to return the tail fin. She comes to the bag and takes Toothless's normal tail-fin out and puts back the automatic one back in the bag. She then proceeded to put the tail fin back on the Night Fury, so the both of them can go and rescue Hiccup. The second the tail fin is on the dark dragon, Astrid would get in his saddle.

A few years ago, Hiccup had taught her how to use Toothless's prosthetic, in case something ever happened to him. Once she was settled in the saddle, she asks, "Stormfly, would you please track down Hiccup's scent for me?" Before she and both dragons could take off a voice cried out.

"Wait! Astrid, I'm coming with you, just in case it's a trap!" Heather called out. She did not want Astrid to be caught in a trap like Hiccup might have been. Also, it would not hurt to have some back up in the likelihood that something went terribly wrong.

"Okay, let's do this," Astrid said, ready to save Hiccup.

No not another cliffhanger how evil of me. But all joking aside I do hope you all are enjoying this story so far. Originally the plan for the Light Fury was she ran into Hiccup and Toothless while they were flying. The reason I didn't was because one what was the odds of that happening. Second I thought that it might have changed some of her characteristics. Because without the implied cruelty of humans towards her. She might not have that same distrust she was showing in Hidden World towards Hiccup. Also I think over all this was a far better idea. I don't know if any of you wanted to know that. Anyway I would like to thank everyone who have reviewed, follow, and favorite this story so far. I hope you all have a wonderful day, stay safe out there, and hopefully I'll have the next chapter next week no promise this time. :P
