Before this chapter begins, I'll like to thank corbinace for helping me with the ideas in this chapter. All credit goes to corbinace for what goes on in this chapter. Because as you guys know I was having the worst type of writer's block for this chapter. The kind where you try to think of an idea and you cannot think of anything. The dragon's dialog will be in italic format. Anyway, I don't want to bore you guys with this author's note anymore, so further ado I present you guys chapter eleven of HTTYD The Dragon Master and Mistress.

"Wait!" Toothless yells out to the retreating Light Fury as he runs after her. He just could not let her get away. Spending most of his life with the thought that he was the only one of his kind really left the usually curious dragon lonesome. Now, with the knowledge of the Light Fury, he was determined to get to know everything he could learn about this gorgeous dragon. He was just so captivated by the beauty of the albino dragon.

The white scaled dragon slows down so the Night Fury could catch up with her. "Could I help you?" Light Fury asked the Night Fury. She was curious about the dark scaled, dare she say handsome, dragon. Her blue eyes meeting his green eyes as she felt butterflies in her stomach. Her heart had felt like it had skipped a beat while staring into Toothless's eyes. It was like she could spend the entire day staring into his eyes. She also felt a nauseous feeling. The colorless scaled dragon wondered what she was feeling.

"I-I was wondering, um, if you would like to have some company?" the dark dragon nervously replied, as embarrassed as he had ever been in his twenty-one years of life. Was this what Hiccup felt the day he started to date Astrid? If that was the case, he promised he would never tease Hiccup about that day ever again.

"Sure, uh, I would love some company," the white dragon answers, embarrassed, as both dragons awkwardly broke their staring into each other's eyes. It was at that moment, Toothless had a place in mind that he would love to take her to.

"I know of a place that we could go to. That's if you want to go there?" Toothless requested the Light Fury. The place he wanted to take her to was the cove. The cove had some of Toothless's most prized memories. Like the memories of how Hiccup and Toothless became best of friends was one of few memories made in the cove. Maybe taking the white dragon to the cove would bring even more irreplaceable memories for him to make, but this time it would be with this pretty dragon.

"Well, lead the way, Night Scales," the albino dragon replied. Toothless rolls his eyes as he took the lead. In the dragon society, they did not give their offspring names. The idea of giving your offspring a name was foreign to them. Instead, they would call another dragon by the color or colors of their scales. That could sometimes lead to many confusing conversations.

About an hour and a half of slowly walking through the forest later, the two dragons made it to the cove. The sun was just starting to rise. The white dragon thought that the cave was a breathtaking sight to behold. Toothless just gives his famous gummy smile as the wonderful memories of the cove came rushing through his mind. "We're here. What do you think of this place?" Toothless announces to the shell-shocked Light Fury.

"It's so beautiful," the albino dragon answered honestly. That is when she remembered that she had been meaning to ask him about his red tail fin. It was just not natural for his tail to be like that. "I've been meaning to ask you about something, Night Scales. What ever happened to your tail? It shouldn't be red like that," the colorless scaled dragon asked the Night Fury, concerned about his tail.

"Well, you see that's a funny story actually," Toothless states very nervously. The Night Fury really did not want to tell her the story of how he lost his tail fin. He knows she would not hesitate to attack Hiccup, based on what he already knows about her. The Light Fury had given the Night Fury a glare that told him that she wants the truth and nothing but the truth. "Six years ago, my human Hiccup had shot me out of the sky," he told her reluctantly. But before he could say anything else, the Light Fury screamed.

"How dare that scaleless being do something like that?! I've half a mind to go and give him a piece of my mind! Why didn't you kill him already for what he had done to you?!" The white dragon was not pleased with the strange human she met on that blasted ship. Turning around, she was about to head back to the human nest, to make that strange human pay for grounding this poor dragon. Before she could make it out of the cove, Toothless blocked her path.

"Please don't hurt him. I've already forgiven him years ago. There's no reason to make a fuss about something that happened in the past, when Hiccup had already helped me regain my ability to fly again. If there's anyone to blame for me losing my tail fin, it would be Hiccup's father that should bare most of the blame. He was the one that made Hiccup feel the only way his own father and nest mates would care about him was to hunt a Night Fury. So, please don't be mad at him for what the human society had forced him to do," Toothless explains on why Hiccup did what he did.

"Oh, alright. I won't harm him for now. Besides, I still owe him for the kindness he had shown me on that hellish ship," Light Fury replied to the dark scaled dragon. If the Night Fury could not hold a grudge against the kind but strange human, then so could she.

Toothless then gets another idea when he sees a stick on the ground. The idea came from one of the earliest memories of the his time in this cove. The day was when Hiccup and Toothless started to become best friends. He remembered waking up from his nap as the former heir was drawing the Night Fury in the sand. It motivated the dragon to draw Hiccup in the sand too.

Grabbing the stick with his mouth, he proceeds drawing the Light Fury. Light Fury watched amazed at what she was seeing. She had never seen anything like that before. Once he is done with his drawing of the beautiful albino dragon, he sits back to admire his work. Toothless poured his heart and soul into drawing the white dragon to the best of his abilities to wow his company. He felt a sense of pride at the drawing. Accidentally stepping on the portrait of herself is Light Fury. As she does that, Toothless cried out, "Hey, don't step on that."

"Oh, I'm so sorry," the white dragon apologizes when she notices how sensitive Toothless was about the portrait of her. Making her way towards Toothless while she was careful to not step on the picture again. The moment she was beside the male dragon she sat beside him. "What did you do to the sand with that stick?" she asked as curious as she ever been in her life.

"It's what the humans call 'drawing.' Hiccup taught me that in this very cove," Toothless answered her question fondly at the memories of his time with Hiccup. This human called "Hiccup" just keeps getting more interesting to her. Just when she was going to ask more questions about Hiccup and his relationship with Toothless, Hiccup appeared seemingly out of nowhere. He was carrying a big basket full of fish.

"I finally found you, bud. I brought you two some food. Just in case you two were hungry." Hiccup says as he sits the basket down before he quickly wipes his tears away. He did not want his overly protective dragon seeing him crying. Unfortunately, Toothless had seen the tears in his human friend's eyes.

"Hiccup, are you alright?" Toothless asked concerned for the human's well-being, as he made his way towards the human. To Hiccup, Toothless's question sounded like a concern cooning. The Light Fury, when Hiccup shown up, had taken a few steps back. Sure, she knows Hiccup was most likely not going to harm her, but she still could not lower her guard yet.

After spending so much time with Toothless, Hiccup has a great understanding in what Toothless is trying to tell him. "I'm alright now, bud. Besides I don't want to ruin your date with the Light Fury," Hiccup comforts the dragon while emptying out the basket of its fish on the ground so both dragons could eat. "Also, I was going to switch your tail fin. So, if the two of you want to go flying, you could do it without me," Hiccup quickly added. With that being said, Hiccup makes his way towards Toothless's saddle bag. Once he is by the bag, he opens it, takes out the automatic prosthetic tail-fin, and quickly as possible switches the tail fins.

After having his tail fin swapped, the Night Fury gives a lick to his face, before he would give his human friend a hug. Ignoring the sharp pain shooting through his broken ribs is Hiccup, so he would not worry his best friend. "Look, White Scales, we could go flying after breakfast if you want to," Toothless says as he is breaking from the hug to show the Light Fury the tail, before going back to eating some fish. The Light Fury had watched all of Toothless's interactions with Hiccup, intrigued. In the short time she had known Hiccup, he had shown her that there are good humans in the world. Like when he had given her his own food so she could eat. Or when those cruel guards took the liberty of beating her. Hiccup had stood up for her, when any other human would have turned the other way and let them keep whipping her. Now she learns that Hiccup had helped a grounded dragon be able to fly again. Sure, Hiccup was the one that caused Toothless to lose his tail-fin. But it seems that he had done whatever it took to fix his mistake. Now he not only came to them with fish, but some tail fin that did not need Hiccup. She did not know what that meant. She will be sure to ask Toothless after breakfast. Maybe there were good humans out there. She just had not found any until now.

Hiccup had already made it to the other side of the cove. That way it would allow Toothless and the Light Fury to have some needed privacy. Another reason he was at the cove was because he felt like he had nowhere else to get some needed rest. After his heated argument with his father, sleeping in his former room was now not an option. He did not want to be a burden to Gobber, so that was not an option neither. He was not going to ask to stay at Hilda and Gunner Hofferson's home. For two reasons: the first reason is he wanted to leave Astrid alone with her parents to spend some needed time with them. Reason number two is that he felt uncomfortable around them. Sure, they were supposed to be become his in-laws today. Even back when Astrid and Hiccup were young children, he never felt comfortably around them. To be fair, he did not feel comfortable around most of the villagers of Berk. He recalled when he made Astrid's axe after her uncle passed away, and he had to drag the axe all the way to her house. When he made it to the hut and knocked on the door. When both Hilda and Gunner opened the door, he felt fear consume his tiny being. He remembered he almost fell over from the weight of the axe. He heard them laughing at him. By then, he was used to everyone making him the butt of their jokes. It still hurt the young Hiccup deeply. Now he was marrying their daughter without their blessing. It would be a very awkward situation to be in. He felt like it was best to avoid it all together. He was not going to ask both his cousin and uncle to crash at their place. He did not hate neither of the two Jorgensons. He just felt like they both did not really care about him with all the grief they both have given him. So the cove was the only place he could stay at.

While the two dragons continue to eat their delicious breakfast, they were not aware that the both of them were eating the same Icelandic Cod. With the both of them reaching the middle of the fish at the exact same time as one another, both of their lips touched. Immediately, Toothless backed up, extremely embarrassed at what had transpired. Then he turned his sights on his rider, who was trying not to laugh at what the human had witnessed. He gives Hiccup a glare, knowing full well Hiccup was not going to let this go anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the Light Fury was wearing a confused expression on her face. Why did the dark scaled dragon back away from her like that? Did it have something to do with their lips touching? What caused him to appear embarrassed? These were the questions running through her mind at the moment. At seeing the confused expression on the white dragon, Hiccup could not help himself any longer and burst into a fit of light-hearted laughter.

"Don't you even dare laugh at us, Hiccup Haddock," Toothless demanded, trying to stop his best friend's laughing.

"Why is he laughing at us?" the Light Fury asked Toothless. To say she was not amused was an understatement. What did they even do to warrant this type of behavior from the human?

"It was because of our lips touching each other," Toothless answered her question, which only leads to the albino dragon to even more confused. Why was it funny to Hiccup that their lips touched? Noticing the dragon's confused expression Toothless would explain further. "Lip touching or what humans call 'kissing.' It's a mate ritual humans do. To be fair, I did tease Hiccup a bit when him and Astrid became pseudo-mates."

"Pseudo-mates? What the hell does that even mean?" Light Fury asked, even more confused than before.

"Pseudo-mates are when two humans are dating each other but aren't fully mates yet. Like, for example, if we were pseudo-mates, I would be your boyfriend and you would be my girlfriend," Toothless explains to Light Fury. In the dragon society, you were either mates or not. The concept of being pseudo-mates was also foreign, just like giving your offspring names.

"Oh, I get it now. Humans have some weird mating rituals. I mean why not become mates immediately like us?" Light Fury replied to Toothless.

"Yeah, humans can be a little strange at times. I do feel bad for both Hiccup and Astrid," says Toothless while he watches a relaxed Hiccup trying to fall asleep.

"Why do you feel bad for them? Did something horrible happen to them?" asked the Light Fury as she too took a look at the strange human. The Light Fury also had a guess on who this Astrid was. She guessed she was the blonde haired woman that had took off the Light Fury's muzzle and chains.

"Today they were suppose to be married. In other words, become mates for life until those assholes ruined everything," Toothless answered. It was not supposed to go like this. This day was supposed to bring joy and happiness to Hiccup and Astrid for the rest of their lives. Now it was all ruined by the greed of the dragon hunters and trappers.

"Well, that sucks," the white dragon says, feeling sorry for the kind human.

"Yeah, it truly sucks for them. But on the bright side of this, we got to meet you," Toothless responds, trying to look at the bight side to all of this. Sure he was still not happy his best friend's wedding was ruined. He was just trying to take the positive in this situation. Learning that he was not the last of his kind was a big positive in his opinion.

The colorless scaled dragon looked the other way shyly. She was blushing from the statement Toothless had given her. The butterflies in her stomach from earlier had returned with a vengeance with their assault. Her heart had once again skipped several beats. What is going on with her feelings? Why did the Night Fury make her feel like this?

The two dragons then resume eating the fish until there was one fish left and Toothless took it. But before he could even eat it, he decides to give the female dragon the fish. It was rare for Toothless to share with other dragons. Most of the times he had shared were with Hiccup and sometimes Astrid. Usually, he would not even share with any other. But he wanted to show Light Fury how much he does care about her. The Light Fury shyly murmured as she takes the fish from Toothless, "Thank you." After the Light Fury ate the fish, both her and Toothless took off in the air.

As the two dragons are flying in the morning sky without a care in the world, the Light Fury decided she should not wait any longer for asking what did Hiccup mean when he said Toothless couldn't fly without him. "Night Scales, what did Hiccup mean when he said that without him, you can't fly? What did he mean by that?" Toothless looks in her blue eyes before he would answer her questions.

"Normally, Hiccup would ride on me so he could control the tail fin. This tail fin is special because it allows me to control it like it was my real tail fin. If I could make a guess, Hiccup must've known you wouldn't want him flying with us. So, he swapped the tail fins so we could fly together without him being there to give us some privacy. Also please call me 'Toothless.' I don't like being called 'Night Scales.'" Toothless just could not look away from her eyes. It was like they have casted a spell on him by forcing him to be staring at the beautiful eyes.

"Toothless? Why be called Toothless when you have teeth?" The Light Fury asked the male beside her, before she would giggle at the harmless name. Hearing the white dragon's laughter was like the sweetest music to Toothless. He just wanted to always make her laugh.

"Toothless, was the name Hiccup gave me. I just prefer to be called that over anything else." Toothless answers before he joins Light Fury in laughter. Laughing and enjoying each other's company. After both had to be force to believe that they were the only ones of their kind for all their lives. It felt blissful to know that they were not only ones anymore.

"Well, Toothless, can you do this?" the Light Fury challenges once she was done with her laughing fit. She shot out a plasma blast before she flew into it, then would seemingly vanish into thin air before Toothless. The black scaled dragon watched in amazement. He did not know his kind could do something like that. As fast as she vanishes, she would reappear beside Toothless. Toothless would give it a try, but unfortunately, he did not vanish like Light Fury did. "I know you can do it, Toothless," Light Fury encouraged Toothless. She did not want him to be upset with himself for not doing the camouflage technique on the first time. Digging deep inside himself not realizing that he was starting to glow blue. Lighting started to come towards him before he shot out a plasma blast. Then quickly flying through it before he vanished. The albino dragon was amazed from the power the Night Fury shown before he did the camouflage technique. Fast as he disappeared, he reappeared above her. Proud that he had done it but sadly it did drain a lot of his energy. He was about to fall out of the sky before Light Fury catches him from below.

"I got you, Toothless," the Light Fury says as both dragons fly to the closest island. Once on the island, they flew into a cave. Then when the both of them land, they lay down next to one another. Then it felt like a sleeping spell was casted on them. Both dragons falling asleep, purring in delight. Content with each other's company as they fallen asleep snuggling together.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I just hope I didn't rush Toothless and Light Fury's relationship. I'm going to make this a two-part chapter. I think it would help develop their relationship better. The next chapter would be mainly forcing on where we left off in the last chapter. Anyways as some of you might've notices that I've started another fanfiction. So, my updating for this story is going to change because I don't want any of my stories on the backburner for a long time. I'll now try my best to update every two weeks. This also gives me some more time to think of ideas for future chapters. I would like to thank everyone that has followed, favorited, and reviewed this story so far. I hope you all have a wonderful day and stay safe out there. I'll see you guys in the next chapter.
