Hello everyone before we get to the story there is something I would like to say. First, I want to apologize to you all for the delay of this chapter. I told you guys that I would have this chapter out with the goal of this story's few chapters edited within a week or so. Obviously, it has been a month with no updates. I just had been going through a lot of personal stuff recently. Sadly, life is not easy for anyone. Sometimes we go through things that seems unfair. That we all struggle with what life throws at us. That is what I have been through the past month or so. I do not want to bore you guys with my struggles in life anymore. Lastly, I would like to thank corbinace. As I was going through my personal hell of a month corbinace had helped me with editing all the chapters to this story. I really appreciated all the help. Anyway, let us get on with the chapter, shall we?

Making their way into the cove are Astrid Hofferson, Snotlout Jorgenson, Fishlegs Ingermen, and both Thorston twins. It does not take long for the five young adults to spot Hiccup Haddock sleeping peacefully by the shoreline of the lake without a care in the world. Then an idea came to the two Loki followers at the exact same time. But as fast as the idea of frightening Hiccup awake came to them, unfortunately for the twins they were stopped by Astrid. "Don't you two even think about it?"

"Aw man you're still not fun Astrid," Tuffnut complained disappointed that their moment to Loki the former heir was ruined by Astrid.

"Indeed, brother nut Astrid still isn't any fun after all this time," Ruffnut complained alongside her brother. Astrid gave both of them a chilling glare. "Oh, come on Astrid? Let us have a little bit of fun?" The female twin begs hoping to convince the blonde hair dragon rider to allow them to prank Hiccup.

Astrid rolls her eyes at the dramatic twins. "Let's go you two." The group are meters away from the slumbering auburn hair man. Astrid wonders why her betrothed is resting in the cove rather than in the village. It did not take long for her to figure it out on her own. She knows Hiccup would not want to be around his own father for the time being. She figured that Hiccup might not have been too comfortable with staying with her in her parent's house. It was not a secret that Hiccup was not close to his cousin and uncle, so that left staying with them out of the question. 'Why not stay with Gobber rather than here?' Astrid thinks to herself. Surely it would be much more comfortable to do that. Getting beside Hiccup, dropping down on her knees, before gently shaking Hiccup's shoulder while saying, "Hiccup wake up."

Stirring in his sleep before slowly opening his eyes to see Astrid with a warm smile. "Astrid what are you doing here?" Hiccup asked as he rubs his tried eyes, while he sat up.

"It's been a few hours since I last saw you babe. I just wanted to check to see if you're all right."

"Yeah, I'm doing much better now." The former heir than notices that he was not alone with Astrid. "Milady what are the others doing here?"

"They just wanted to ask you something important. Also more importantly why were you sleeping out here?"

"Oh well you see…I was enjoying the beautiful view of the lake in the cove before falling asleep." Hiccup half told the truth because he did not want to worry his future wife. He gives her a nervous smile as she gives him a hardened glare. Astrid already knowing Hiccup is not telling her the full truth.

"Hiccup don't make me ask again?"

"Okay fine you win. You always win. I was planning on staying here until we head back home."

"What!? Hiccup why won't you stay with Gobber?"

"I don't want to a burden to Gobber." All the blonde hair woman did is shoot him with a glare. That answer was not good enough for her to allow an injury Hiccup to stay the night in the cove. Everyone knows that Berk is well known for the freezing temperatures, especially during the night hours. The last thing they need is a sick Hiccup on their hands.

"You won't be a burden to Gobber. In fact, I bet you he would love for you to stay over."

"Astrid I just don't think that I can ask anyone from the village anything after disappearing for six years. I cannot just go to Gobber and ask him, 'Hey Gobber I know I've been gone for six years but could I crash in your home?' It's very rude to do something like that Astrid. I don't feel comfortable doing that."

"Why not stay with my parents with me instead of being out here?" Astrid questions not wanting him to stay out here, knowing that the temperature would be freezing at nighttime. The last thing he needed now was to get any illness while he is still injured.

"I'll be all right Astrid. Besides, I don't want to interrupt your time with your parents. We both know how much you have missed them over the years." All his betrothed did was give him a glare that told him that she would not take no as an answer. "Alright. I'll stay with you and your parents for the time being." Hiccup decided to give Astrid the answer she wanted to hear.

Astrid smirked arrogantly and teasingly at her love of her life before replying, "It looks like I won again dragon boy."

Rolling his eyes before he was about responded to Astrid teasing. But he is sadly interrupted by the twins making their way in between the loving couple. "Oh, please teach us how to train the deadliest dragons, Hiccy?" Tuffnut asked as he dropped on his knees. Ruffnut had gotten on her knees beside her brother too.

"Hiccy?" Hiccup questions as he wore a confused expression. Astrid let out giggles amused at the nickname the male twin had gave the auburn hair man. Hiccup groaned knowing that his girlfriend would never let him live this down.

"Please Hiccup teach us how to train dragons? Just imagine of all the chaos and destruction we could pull off with trained dragons," Ruffnut pleaded with Hiccup with an innocent smile. The idea of the twins with dragons sent shivers down Hiccup's, Astrid's, Fishlegs's and Snotlout's spines. Especially with the innocent smile that the female twin has on her face freaked Hiccup out even more.

"I'll teach you guys. But there is going to be strict rules you two need to follow. Rule one: do not even attempt to kill each other. Rule two: do not destroy the village, the villagers, and nor anybody else. Rule three: there will be no Loki anyone. Last rule: if you break any of these rules? I'll take your dragons away. Understand?" Hiccup said not sure if he could fully trust the twins with dragons. He just hopes that they would not have him regret his decision. He hoped that by a miracle that the twins listened to him for the first time ever. Both twins reluctantly nodded their heads. Disappointed there were some rules that they were tempted to break. Maybe when Hiccup was not looking, they would break those rules?

"Ruff! Tuff! What did I tell you guys should do before asking Hiccup anything?!" Astrid shouted annoyed at the twins for rudely begging her love to help them train dragons before even apologizing first. During when Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, and the twins were heading towards the cove. The blonde hair woman had pacifically told her former friends that they should apologize to Hiccup first before even asking anything from the auburn hair man. Why was it so hard for them to say sorry to the person they had wronged for fifteen years? Astrid then gave them her infamous death glare that promises harm if the twins do not apologize this instant. Getting her axe ready to have the twins get the point.

"You told us to do something?" Asked Tuffnut as confused as he had ever been. To no one's surprise neither of the twins had listened to Astrid.

"What did you say again?" Ruffnut asked the female dragon rider.

"You guys were supposed to be apologizing to Hiccup for being assholes to him." Astrid reminded both.

"It's all right Astrid. They don't need to apologize for what happened." Hiccup said in the hopes of not starting an argument between the twins and his lover. Besides, he did not want them to apologize to him when they were forced to do so. He would much rather that they apologize when they were genuinely sorry and not because they were forced to do so.

"Of course, they need to say sorry for all the wrongs they did to you." Astrid says passionately. She does love Hiccup for his amazingly pure golden heart that would forgive anyone that had wronged him. But she felt that all of Berk needed to say those two simple words to her soon to be husband. They had wronged him for most of his life and now that he was helping them with their current situation. The least they could do is admit that they were wrong about the former heir and apologize for their past actions.

"Fine Astrid. We're so sorry Hiccup for how we treated you. Will you ever forgive us?" The twins said in their most sincere tone, at the exact same time. Truth be told both did feel remorse for their actions towards Hiccup. If they were given a second chance? They do whatever it takes to right their wrongs.

"I forgive you two." Hiccup response with a warm smile. In which leads the two Loki followers to bash their heads together happy that they were forgiven.

"Also, Hiccup are you we should allow the twins to train dragons? They are destructive enough without dragons. Maybe it would be better if we don't allow them access to training dragons?" Astrid voices her concerns with the idea of the twins with dragons.

"I'm not fully sure that this is a clever idea. But we must at least give them a shot. Who knows having a dragon would be a remarkable thing for them? Besides, with what is about to go down with our enemies. We are going to need all the help that we can get. Tuffnut and Ruffnut can be valuable assets to the team." Astrid nods her head to reply while Hiccup's words sink in her mind. Hiccup in a way is right in that they will need all the help they could get for the battle ahead of them. She silently preys to all the Gods that the chaotic Thorston twins would not be a liability.

"H-hiccup I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to be your friend back then. I feared that if I were your friend back then I would have been bullied too. I know that I do not deserve your forgiveness. But if you could find it in your heart to forgive me for all the times I sat back and watched you get ridiculed by everyone in the village? I promise I will be a better person to you. Maybe we could be friends if you'll allow it?" Fishlegs begs for forgiveness. With every word he spoke his tone got softer. The large Viking had been looking down to the ground in shame and disgust at his past behavior. The nerdy man had felt extremely guilty after Hiccup and Astrid had disappeared. Now with Hiccup and Astrid back he could finally apologize for all the mistakes he made.

"It's all right Fishlegs. I've already forgave you all years ago." Hiccup comforted Fishlegs as he made his way towards the larger man. The auburn hair man could tell that Fishlegs was terribly sorry for what had happened. There was no reason to make Fishlegs feel even worse than he was now. Immediately Fishlegs crushed the former heir in a tight bear hug. Thrilled that he was forgiven.

"Thank you Hiccup! I promise I will not take this second chance for granted!"

"You're welcome Fishlegs. Do you mind letting me go now? Kind of hard to breathe now." Hiccup could barely let out as his cheeks started turning purple from the lack of oxygen. Quickly and gently setting the dragon rider down so to not harm him even further.

"I'm so sorry about that Hiccup. I was so relieved that you forgave me." Fishlegs told Hiccup as the dragon rider is trying to catch his breath. Hiccup catches his breath before saying.

"It's alright Fishlegs." That is when Snotlout made his way towards Hiccup. Truth be told the heir of Berk was hurt deeply by Hiccup's decision to disappear. The black hair man would not ever admit that to anyone. Once in front of his once to be thought dead cousin he felt mixed feelings about Hiccup. One of the feelings is relieved because of the fact Hiccup is still alive. He never wanted his cousin dead. The other two feelings were anger and sadness. Angry because his cousin had made their family surfer with the thought that the fishbone of a boy was dead, when Hiccup was alive and well all this time. Did Hiccup genuinely care that Spitelout, Stoick, and himself suffered thinking Hiccup was dead? No matter what the situation was? Faking your death was not something to take lightly. Snotlout's sadness was from the realization of what Hiccup did. Never in Snotlout's life had he wanted to punch someone in the face well also wanting to hug someone.

Without thinking of the consequences of his actions, he punched Hiccup between his eyes. Immediately Hiccup hit the ground with a loud thud. The blood started to gush out of the former heir's nose, while he is temporarily blind from the contact of the punch, with a splitting headache. Astrid proceeded to pounce on Snotlout like she was a lioness hunting her prey. "What-," Snotlout tries to reason with Astrid but is cut off by a punch to his jaw. The punch had enough force to draw blood and a tooth was lost in the process. That did not stop Astrid from continuing her assault. Her fists hit the black hair man's face with such deadly accuracy and force. The young woman did not care that she is hurting Snotlout because he had the gall to harm her Hiccup. No one had the right to harm her Hiccup.

"How dare you harm my Hiccup like that?!" Before she can do severe damage to Snotlout's face, Hiccup is there to pull her off the young Jorgenson man.

"Wow Astrid. You can calm down now I'm all right." This moment remembered he the night Viggo put a bounty on his head and somehow two bounty hunters sneak into his hut. The two bounty hunters had successfully kidnapped him and took him into their ship, but what they did not expect is Stormfly's excellent sense of smell to track them down. He may have not known what exactly happened when Astrid got her hands on them do to bring in the lower deck of their ship. But he could still hear their cries of pain even years later. That day was when Hiccup learned that Astrid tends to be a bit overprotective of the small amount of people close to her, especially Hiccup. "Did Snotlout really deserve that?"

"Yes, he does."

"I did deserve that one Astrid. I mean we did disappear for six years and made everyone think we were dead after all." Astrid starts to calm down enough for Hiccup to let her go when she heard the reason for why Hiccup was attacked. But that does not mean that she is not going to give him a warning, of what she would do to him if he so much as lay a hand on Hiccup.

"Okay fine babe. But if he even tries that again I will gut him up with a rusty old dagger. Are we clear Snotlout?"

"Yes, we're clear Astrid. Did you not care how your father, my father, or I felt when you decided that you should leave Berk, Hiccup?" Snotlout says as he is getting back up from being on the ground.

"I'm sorry that you were hurt by my decision to leave. But I felt like nobody would even care that I was gone. I did care about my family here and I honestly thought that you all would've been better off without me. I mean you and the rest of the villagers weren't too fond of me back then so what was I supposed to think six years ago."

"Well, you were wrong in thinking that. I'm also sorry too Hiccup that I made you think that. I've spent the past six years with guilt that I couldn't save Astrid and you from dying that day. Do you have any idea just how much we all suffered Hiccup? Of course, you don't because you don't because you were running around with dragons without a care in the world. While we all thought that the both of you guys were dead. You didn't know how much I wished that I could go back in time and redo everything with you." Snotlout in a rare moment showed himself being hurt. Normally he was too prideful to show anyone when he was hurt. But the whole situation with Hiccup was just too much for him to pretend to be not hurt. Who would have ever thought that Hiccup and Astrid were going to make the villagers think they were dead for six years?

"I forgive you Snotlout. I hope you could forgive me someday." Hiccup says with a guilty tone. He never wanted to hurt anyone with him leaving. Now hearing from Snotlout's perspective. He didn't know that his usually prideful cousin that was also his childhood bully wouldn't care what happened to him. He felt like his cousin at times had hated him. So, he thought that leaving would be better for the young black-haired man but I he didn't know that behind that tough exterior Snotlout did care. He just hopes that his cousin could forgive him and maybe they could fix their broken relationship.

"Alright I forgive you. Just don't ever do something like that again? Anyway, now how do we even train dragons." Snotlout getting to the point in his usual confident tone of voice. Hiccup smiled truthfully; he didn't believe that nobody in Berk would even want to train dragons. If he is lucky enough? The other villagers would see that dragons weren't mindless beast that destroyed everything in their direction. Maybe there is a chance in changing the villager's view of dragons? He had a feeling that he would need all the help he could get for the upcoming battle that is in the horizon.

Meanwhile on New Berserker Island Eret had just got done explaining what happened on Berk. Everyone there that was waiting for the wedding of Hiccup and Astrid to start are disappointed that the long-awaited marriage of Hiccup and Astrid had to wait. But they understood that there are somethings more important than a wedding when the groom and bride's families were in danger. "Alright I'll sent out Terror mail if something else goes wrong." Eret said as he got on Skullcrasher. Eret's orange Terrible Terror is beside the former dragon trapper and his dragon.

"We'll be on standby until you guys give us the word. Tell Hiccup we're welling to help him when the time comes." Mala told the former dragon trapper before Eret had taken off in the air. Heading back to Berk to give any assist he could give Hiccup and Astrid.
