Sometimes they didn't need words,

just a quite commitment to sit

beside each other,

and spend even the quietest time together.

And sometimes all they have are the little moments,

early day off of work,

paperwork neatly finished up and off to the side,

and a large courtyard to walk through together,

until beneath tall trees,

they have a picnic together.

Sometimes Zen will stop by,

and Shirayuki will take his hand,

and they'll go grow some plants together,

ones that aren't for work,

and they'll chat usually about the plants,

as Shirayuki shares her passion

with two bright green eyes,

that sparkle with enough joy

to lift both their hearts up.

And sometimes it's sneaking around together,

as if a festival is a place for an incognito prince,

or if a quick journey through the courtyard's forest

are the right places for two people to go together,

until even the thrill of it is masked

by two people happily in love and happily together

embracing life in stride by each other's sides.

And somehow it's all of their little excuses

to go and see each other,

and all of these hard won moments

that end up meaning the most.
