"Woah… this is fast…." Shirone said as the buildings zoomed past outside her window. After leaving the busy streets of Kuoh, we're currently traveling inside a bullet train heading to another part of Chiyoda. "I think this is faster than Lord Sirzechs's car…"

"You're right. I think the trains in the Underworld aren't as fast as this." I said while looking at a map that I got at the station earlier. "And by the way we're going, we should reach our destination within an hour or so."

"Where are we going anyways, sister?"

"A very fun place, Akihabara."

The train eventually stopped in Akihabara Station. When the train doors opened, people began to flood the doors trying to get off of the train while some people managed to get on.

"Geez, I've heard that this place is full of people, but this is insane!" I yelled while trying to go through people just to get on the station floor.

"Sister! Help me!" Shirone screamed out. I couldn't see her because of the amount of people here, but I can sense her ki. She was still on the train, being shoved around by the people.

"Shirone! Just stay where you are, I'll come to you!" I told her before I submerged myself back into the sea of people. It was difficult going through it with people elbowing you and having to stop just to apologize for getting in the way of others, but eventually I managed to get Shirone and pulled her off the train before it departed. "Man, wasn't that scary–oof!" I was barely able to speak due to Shirone hugging me all of a sudden. "Shirone?"

"...Thank you…for saving me back there…" she said to me.

"Well of course. I'm your older sister, after all," I said while rubbing her head. "Come, there's a new world waiting for us upstairs."

"...Ok." She replied as she let go of me. "Let's go."

When we walked out of the station, there were people everywhere. I think that there's more people here than all the entirety of Kuoh. There were also tall buildings that showed advertisements for their stores on gigantic . People wearing different types of outfits and cosplays. And the different types of smells coming from the restaurants and cafes is immense.

"Woah… This place…" Shirone said as she looked around in amazement.

"I've only heard of this place from Rias and from some kids in school, but this is beyond what they said…" I said. "It's like we went into a different world." And to be honest, with the amount of people wearing different types of costumes, I think I can relax for a bit. I decided to adjust my skirt a bit so I can let my tail out from it before letting my ears out. Shirone looked at me with a curious look.

"Sister, your ears and tail are out," she told me.

"I know," I said.

"Would it be bad if someone sees you like that?"

"Don't worry about it, Shirone. For the most part, people would think that they're part of a costume I'm wearing."

"Costume?"

"Exactly, like what those two are wearing over there." I said, pointing towards two girls wearing maid outfits in front of a cafe of some sorts. "We'll be fine as long as there's nobody that can't sense chi or demonic power. Understand?" She slowly nods her head in agreement with what I said. "Plus, today's a day for us to relax. And I don't see any better way than to walk around in our actual forms for a little while."

"I see… then I shall join Sister as well!" She exclaimed as she also revealed her ears and tail. "So what shall we do first?" She asked me.

"Hmm…That's a good question…" I said as I began to look around when my nose began to pick up a savory scent. I began to walk slowly to follow where it was coming from. "Follow me," I said to Shirone, which she does. We walked down the streets of Akihabara for a while, going through different street corners and alleyways until we arrived in front of a ramen stall.

"Is this where the smell is coming from, Sister?" Shirone asked me.

"I'm pretty sure. It smells the strongest here." I then lifted up the sign slightly to see the inside of it. It has a long counter with multiple stools placed in front of it. Behind the counter is what looked like a couple of burners and a long metal pot. The place even has a small T.V. installed on the wall. "Hello, is anybody here?" When I said that, an older looking man basically appeared from behind the counter. He was wearing a white apron and a small chef's hat.

"Ah, a couple of customers. How may I help you?" He said with a smile on his face.

"Oh uh… you see, I smelt something from around here so I decided to see where it was coming from to be honest…" I told him.

"My, then you must have a good nose," he said as he pulled out a towel from under the counter and began to wipe it off. "I had a couple of customers just here not too long ago. It was some kid with two older women. One of them was wearing some kind of witch's outfit so I guess they came here for some kind of cosplay event. Anyways, come inside. Both of you take a seat." Shirone was the first one to walk inside and took a seat on one of the stools. I decided to follow her and sit next to her. The old guy placed two menus in front of us along with a pencil, paper, and two glasses of water. "Take as much time as you need."

After some time looking over the menu, Shirone wrote down her selection and handed the paper back to the chef. "Ah, this is quite a lot.. Are you sure you're going to finish all of this?" He asked her.

"I'm quite capable in my appetite," she replied.

"But still…even then…" he tries to comprehend.

"I wouldn't underestimate her," I told the chef. "She may be on the small side, but she literally has a black hole for a stomach. As for me on the other hand~". I handed him my meal ticket. After he looked at it, almost all of his color left his body.

"Y-You two have some insane appetites huh?" He asked us nervously.

"It's run in the family, nya~"

"Well, it's going to be a while for me to finish all of this, so make yourselves comfortable. Don't mind helping yourself for the T.V. neither," the chef said as he began to fill up the pot full of water. He began to chop up different types of vegetables before sliding them off of his cutting board into the pot when he asked us something. "So, where are you two from? Anywhere nearby?"

"We're from Kuoh," I told him. I couldn't tell him that we're from the underworld. Not that he would even believe us, but it's just to be on the safe side.

"Ah, quite a long trip," he said. "I've heard that one of the high schools is becoming co-ed. Thinking of trying to make my kid take the entrance exam there."

"Well, if it's anything like junior high, then I think they'll like it,"

"You're a student there?"

"Third year."

"Ah, then I guess you've heard about what happened to the students at Ryoukuu High School then?"

"About what happened on that cruise ship? Who hasn't by now?"

"True. I've heard that some of the families had moved to different parts of Japan so that none of the news reporters would bother them about their child."

"Not like that would stop them…" I said from previous experiences. "They'll do anything in their power to make sure they get what they want."

"Yeah, that's true," he said as he began to plate up everything in front of us. "But apparently, someone said that there might be some survivors from that accident still living in Japan."

"Survivors?"

"I know, sounds unbelievable right? But anyway, rumors are just rumors until proven true, am I right." He then finally finished setting the plates and bowls in front of us. It took up the entire counter space. There were so many different types of noodles and side dishes displayed all at once. "I hope that both of you enjoy your meals," he said as he bows towards us. I then directed my attention towards Shirone with a fun idea in mind.

"Say Shirone, wanna do something fun?" I asked her.

"Something fun?" She asked.

"A little race. Whoever finishes their food wins!"

"Wins? Wins what exactly?"

"Hmm…good question…" I begin to think about the answer myself. Shirone hasn't been on many jobs since her first one. But that's when something came to mind. "You know how sometimes Akeno bakes a cake for the club, right?"

"You mean the strawberry one?!" She sits up in her seat, leaning in towards me.

"I'll give you my slice if you win against me." When I said that, her entire face glowed up in excitement. It was sort of like her first time meeting Rias.

"I-I won't lose to you!" She declared to me as she picked up her chopsticks.

"Then get ready, set, go!"
