Chapter 7

Some time later

Satsuki opened her eyes and found herself in a classroom. The Kiryuin heiress looked around suspiciously. For some reason, the class was dark and windows were bolted shut as if the people inside the building were preparing for a war. Satsuki stood up and walked up the steel that blocked the windows before trying to reach for her sword. Only to find it missing, making her rip apart the classroom she was in as an attempt to find her weapon.

"I never leave Bakuzan away from my side. Something is wrong here. Even more so, this is not Class 77." Satsuki said to herself as she went into the hallways. "Something is very wrong here. This is a completely different building altogether." she said as she looked around for anything suspicious.

The signs of suspicion were everywhere in Satsuki's opinion. Not only was this hallway practically empty with no signs of life. Satsuki remembered being in the other building where Chisa Yukizome was teaching her students prior to being demoted into helping the regular students.

"How did I end up here?" Satsuki asked herself before hearing some running.

"Hey! Wait up!" a boy yelled.

Satsuki turned around and saw an average looking boy with brown hair and a hoodie running towards her. Satsuki took a moment to study him before remembering his face. At least until she almost injured him by running towards him and hitting him in the stomach.

"No running in the halls!" Satsuki yelled.

The boy grunted and landed painfully on his back. After a minute, Satsuki helped him up and continued to study him.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'm still new to the academy, so I forgot that the rules were still active." the boy said.

"I will ignore that poor logic only for now. Anyways, I don't believe we've properly introduced ourselves." Satsuki said.

The boy gave her a sheepish smile, "Sorry, I'm Makoto Naegi. I was recently accepted through a raffle, so they call me the Ultimate Luck for that reason." he said while bowing his head.

Satsuki nodded, "I am Satsuki Kiryuin, I am a part of a type exchange program. Though with recent events, I am glad it was extended." she said.

"That's cool, so I guess we're both new to Hopes Peak then." Naegi said.

Satsuki raised a brow, "What are you talking about? I've seen you around multiple times around the school." she said confusing Naegi. "In fact, the first time we met was during my mother's fashion show as an attempt to bring both schools together." she said.

Naegi sweat dropped, "Are you feeling okay? Because I think I would remember a fashion show." he said.

"You were stitched together with another boy from the Reserve Course on accident." Satsuki pointed out.

"No, I'm pretty sure I would remember that too." Naegi replied.

Now Satsuki was suspicious, "Have you met any student from outside of your class?" she asked.

"I haven't even met my own class." Naegi answered honestly.

Satsuki remained silent for a moment, "As I predicted, something is very wrong here." she said as Naegi's confusion did not seize to end. "Do not take this as a threat, but I need you to keep this conversation a secret for now." she said.

"Um, can I ask why?" Naegi asked.

"Just be silent. As of now, you will only say that we bumped into each other just recently should we run into anyone." Satsuki said, though it sounded more like a command.

Naegi nodded, "Okay, understood." He said nervously.

"Good, now follow me." Satsuki said as she lead Naegi to the gymnasium.

There, the two found themselves meeting Class 77. In Naegi's case, it was for the very first time. For Satsuki, it was the first time she properly greeted them. At least until Kiyotaka Ishimaru spoke up in his serious voice.

"You two! How dare you arrive late and behind schedule!?" he asked in a loud voice.

Satsuki proceeded to kick him in the stomach too, "How dare you raise your voice and point at others!? Not only is that against the rules, but it is a sign of poor manners and discipline!" She exclaimed.

Kiyotaka grunted as he fell to one knee, "Understood, I can see that I have overstepped my bounds." He said, now feeling fearful.

"Good, it is not that I am admonishing you for your need to discipline the rules. I am admonishing your need to break them to enforce the rules. The system cannot maintain order through hypocrisy." Satsuki said calmly.

Yet for some reason, most of the students felt like Satsuki was threatening to execute them via guillotine.

"Whatever, who cares about the rules?" asked a familiar girl with pigtails.

Satsuki's eyes looked towards the unruly as her head started to ache. For some reason, Satsuki already loathed the girl. Not because she was laid back and clearly showed no discipline. No, this feeling made Satsuki feel like this girl is a parasite rather than any ordinary "pig" in her opinion.

"E-Excuse me, have you both woken up alone in a classroom by some chance?" a feminine looking boy asked.

"I know I did. I was really confused until I got a note that told me to come here." Naegi said.

"That's interesting, I never received a note." Satsuki said.

Suddenly a chubby student with glasses stood close to Satsuki, "Then that makes you the suspicious one." he said.

"Then should I asses you as a threat?" Satsuki asked without looking at him.

"Nope, you're completely trustworthy!" the chubby student said, immediately becoming frightened.

"I think we should keep the drama down and asses the situation." said a very muscular female with white hair.

Everyone had their own various opinions on what was happening. Some feeling suspicious that this is some sort of conspiracy, other feeling fearful and some just joking around about the situation. Regardless, Satsuki decided to get to know these students better. Not on a friendly level, but as to learn who everyone is and their speciality. Since Satsuki confirmed that this is still Hopes Peak Academy, she knew that everyone here is special and has an Ultimate Skill.

Everyone but Satsuki herself of course and she already properly met Naegi.

Makoto Naegi - Ultimate Lucky Student

That leaves 14 other students in this room with her.

Aoi Asahina - Ultimate Swimming Pro

Byakuya Togami - Ultimate Affluent Progeny

Celestia Ludenberg - Ultimate Gambler

Chihiro Fujisaki - Ultimate Programmer

Hifumi Yamada - Ultimate Fanfic Creator

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - Ultimate Moral Compass

Leon Kuwata - Ultimate Baseball Star

Mondo Owada - Ultimate Biker

Sakura Ogami - Ultimate Martial Artist

Sayaka Maizono - Ultimate Popstar

Toko Fukawa - Ultimate Writer

Yasuhiro Hagakure - Ultimate Clairvoyant

However there were two that stood out the most to Satsuki.

Junko Enoshima - Ultimate Fashionista

Kiyoko Kirigiri - ?

Satsuki held herself back as she felt a lot of ire towards Junko that she had yet to understand. As she looked at Kyoko, it couldn't be a mere coincidence that she has the same surname as the principal. If there is a time for it, then Satsuki will consider interacting with her. As she didn't want to say anything now and get the wrong attention. Especially if others listen to them if they do manage to meet under private circumstances.

And that's not taking in the possibility that someone outside of the school is watching them.

However, something else caught Satsuki's attention, "Makoto Naegi? It's me, Sayaka Maizono, we were at the same middle school together." Sayaka said.

"Oh hey Sayaka!" Naegi greeted.

"I'm feeling better now that someone I recognize is here with me." Sayaka said, causing Naegi to blush.

"Really? We didn't really talk since you were so popular back in the day." Naegi said with a nervous chuckle.

"I wouldn't say it was like that." Sayaka said with a humble voice.

"Are you two done flirting?" both of them turned to look at Byakuya. Who looked very annoyed by their socialization, "I think we need to focus on our situation at hand instead of thinking about dates." he said as the pair blushed.

As Satsuki listened to this, she felt very surprised by their interaction. Even if Naegi never spoke with his former classmate from middle school until now. The two have been within proximity as Nui took "volunteers" for the fashion show. Seeing as her own mother is famous for her designs at REVOCS. Satsuki had learned that Celestia and Sayaka are both big fans of Ragyo.

'Then this means that no one else remembers the event?' Satsuki wondered before Junko spoke up.

"Oh my gosh! This is so lame! Can someone give me back my phone already?" Junko asked in the most irritating voice.

Everyone started to scramble around for their phones. It was a typical thing for a teenager in the 21st century to carry a self phone as most are usually glued to their devices. Only now, it was more concerning as it meant they had no contact with the outside world. As everyone appeared to be missing their cellular devices.

"Did they confesicate our phones?" Neagi asked.

"Maybe they'll give it back after orientation." Yasuhiro suggested before pulling out a crystal ball. "I'm sure the facts are already foretold." he said reminding everyone of his talent.

Leon felt skeptical, "Really? A crystal ball?" he asked.

"I'm serious dude, all of my fortunes are correct 30% of the time." Yasuhiro said as Toko looked concerned by that fact.

With this talk of phones, Satsuki is reminded of an actual problem teenagers have. Where they feel like their phones are going off because someone is texting or calling or a notification for an app went off. This condition is commonly known as, Phantom Vibration Syndrome, and it's usually occurring when someone believes their phone is vibrating when it's not. A very bad habit indeed.

Sadly, Satsuki felt a different various, Phantom Blade Syndrome. Being without the Bakuzan made the girl almost feel naked as she was hardly without that sword or any sword for that matter. If any where to wonder about Satsuki's sword, they would probably imagine a young Satsuki on Christmas Day with Ragyo giving her an elegant sheath with her sword inside.

The only accurate thing about such an image would be Ragyo wanting Christmas to look beautiful since she genuinely loves her flashy appearances. Though Nonon is probably the only person in Satsuki's childhood that actually wants to be around her during the holidays.

This nostalgia of fake memories and cousins was interrupted by the speakers going off on stage.

"Testing! Testing! Can you hear me!?" Asked an obnoxious sounding individual.

Everyone looked at the speakers as someone was attempting to gain their attention. When out of nowhere came a robotic teddy bear that was colored half black and half white. Everyone was shocked by the animatronic's sudden appearance.

"I know what you're thinking and no, I am not a Build-a-Bear reject." the robot said.

"I was going to say, a discount version of Mickey Mouse. Your poor design leaves little of an impression." Satsuki said as everyone gasped at her blunt attitude.

The robot turned red from anger, "If this wasn't your first day of school! Then you would be going straight to detention!" he yelled. He then cleared his throat before calming down, "Anyways, ignoring some disrespectful comments. Allow me to introduce myself, I am your principal, Monokuma. So stand at attention and greet me properly!" he commanded.

Kiyotaka is the only one who bowed his head, "Good morning principal!" he said respectfully.

Making Toko panic, "Don't encourage him!" She yelled.

Monokuma sighed, "That is good enough." he said sounding dejected. "Anyways, before you all get excited. I want to welcome you to your new home. Well, actually it's your permanent home." he said.

Everyone immediately objected to that idea.

"You can't keep us here forever!"

"We have families!"

"Just, no!"

Celestia was one of the few who stayed composed, "Are you saying we are spending the rest of our natural lives here?" she asked.

"Natural lives, as if you can call it that. However, there is one loophole for anyone who wants to leave." Monouma answered.

"Define this loophole." Satsuki demanded before anyone else said anything.

Monokuma laughed before jumping in the air, "Murder! You have to kill someone and get away with it!" he yelled as he landed. Before dancing around, "Stabbing, strangling, beating…"

From there, Monokuma was doing his best to describe all the various ways to end a human life. Along with making up fictional ways to do the same. It was really disturbing by the end and not because of his sadistic plan taken straight out of a Saw movie. It was because Monokuma looked like someone who felt the euphoria of sex when he was finished.

"Disgusting bear, whoever created you was more concerned with their perverse fantasies than blood lust." Satsuki said, not noticing Junko giving her a death glare.

Monokuma also looked furious, "You dare insult your principal!?" he asked angrily.

"I did and you have yet to show some discipline." Satsuki replied as Monokuma hopped around angrily.

"I agree with her!" Mondo yelled surprisingly. "Maybe we should make you Victim #1!" he suggested as he bent down to Monokuma's eye level.

"What are you going to do? Stab me with your pompadour?" Monkuma asked in a teasing manner.

When suddenly, Mondo proved how seriously annoyed he was by lifting Monokuma up by the head. The biker proceeded to shake and threaten Monokuma until the machine started to feel nervous.

"I'm going to take you apart until I find out what makes you talk!" Mondo yelled.

"You can't do that! It's against the rules to harm the principal!" Monokuma yelled.

When suddenly, Monokuma went silent as his red eye started to flash and a beeping noise was heard. Satsuki's eyes widened as she immediately recognized the sounds of an explosive device going of. Thinking about it now, Satsuki wondered how one of the allegedly best schools in the country could be so lax in letting in explosive devices.

Seriously, Juzo Sakakura threatened to beat Hajime Hinata to death, but he couldn't prevent a bomb threat? Even if his job is to protect the front gate, it's on security as a whole to protect the main course buildings. Just like it's Satsuki's duty to stop this bomb.

"Throw him away!" Satsuki yelled.

"What? Why? Also, why is this thing making so much noise?" Mondo asked.

"I said to throw him you foolish degenerate!" Satsuki yelled more loudly making Mondo shiver.

"She's right! Just listen to her!" Kyoko screamed.

"Fine! You can have it you angry bitch!" Mondo yelled as he tossed Monokuma at away..

By now, anyone who has watched any action movie ever. Would recognize that such beeping noises if not a few suspicious vibrations were the common signs of an explosive device. Which is exactly what Monokuma became at this very moment. Luckily Mondo had a good throwing arm as he avoided losing his face from the resulting flames of Monokuma's explosion.

"Holy crap! That was a bomb!" Mondo yelled.

"I think I've seen enough movies to where some of us should have picked up on that noise." Naegi said with wide eyes.

"But does that mean that the teddy bear is gone for good?" Chihiro asked.

"Not even close! That was just one of many Monokuma's!" yelled another Monokuma who jumped out from the stage. "See? Now think of that as a verbal warning! Next time, it's corporal punishment!" he said angrily.

Most of the class sweat dropped at the reaction. What exactly is the difference between verbal and corporal punishment in this school?

"Anyways, you can continue the day with greeting each other. Have a happy long, but no so long, day. Then enjoy the rest of your educational year and whatnot." Monokuma said before disappearing behind the stage.

"This has to be a joke." Chihiro said, not wanting to believe this all to be true.

"A joke it might as well be and I do not have a sense of humor to fit this situation. Are we really supposed to go on without expecting someone to give into this potential murder spree?" Byakuya asked as he already distrusted everyone.

"Those with no will and live in fear can live like animals for all I care. Giving into to fear makes none of you any different from a domesticated farm animal." Satsuki said as she could already smell the fear off of everyone.

"I don't agree with how she said it, but she's right!" Aoi spoke up. "We just have to stay positive and find a way out!" she said.

Sakura nodded, "She's right, we have to work together if we want to get out." she said.

Byakuya scoffed, "You can all do as you wish, but I am going alone." He said.

"That doesn't sound like a good idea." Toko said, nervous as ever.

"It is to me. For all I know, one or more of you could be plotting my demise." Byakuya said without a hint of fear or care.

This infuriated Mondo, "So what? You're just going to walk out on us? You can't do whatever you want and ditch us!" he yelled.

"Out of my way, narwal." Byakuya commanded, unfazed by Mondo's threatening aura.

Mondo growled, "I'm going to give you a reason to be paranoid piece of shit!" he yelled as he prepared to hit Byakuya.

"You two are being bigger fools by arguing with each other." Satsuki said as Naegi ran up to them.

"Yeah guys, there's no need to fight!" Naegi said in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

"What!? You think I'm a fool too!? You and that bitch want to give me lessons on teamwork!?" Mondo asked angrily.

"No! That's not what I meant!" Naegi yelled as Mondo prepared to hit him.

Only for Satsuki to suddenly appear behind Naegi and tossed him aside. She immediately used the force Mondo's punch against him. Before tripping his leg and making him the ground and stomping on his chest. Swiftly knocking Mondo unconscious as a result of the fight.

"I think you two need to better assess the situation. Whether you are willing to go alone or stop a fight, be mindful of someone else's stress level because they become unpredictably unstable." Satsuki said.

Togami said nothing as he adjusted his glasses. As much as he hated being lectured like a child, Satsuki did remind him to be more careful. As even a few words can set someone off and adding to his caution. Meanwhile Naegi was still confused as he can't predict every situation.

"Now, someone move this degenerate away so he can recover." Satsuki said as everyone looked amongst each other.

A while later

After a series of attempts to escape. All Satsuki and the rest of Class 78 did was find the barriers to be impenetrable. It didn't help that the rest of the school was sealed off by more walls that not even someone as strong as Sakura could break. The girl is the Ultimate Fighter and she made the entire gym shake from punching one of the barriers with a lot of strength. Even worse, when the students did manage to get close to moving past the barriers.

They seemed to be armed with traps. It seemed as though Monokuma or whoever is in charge did not want them moving on or escaping. Satsuki would sigh and wish she could speak to Inamuta who would have at least given her a scan of the entire building's layout.

'Instead, I will have to work with what I have.' Satsuki thought as they all sat in the cafeteria.

Just as Mondo came in with the help of Kiyotaka, "Are you sure you feel well?" Kiyotaka asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Still, I never seen a lady hit so hard." Mondo said almost sounding impressed.

"I admit, you are more durable than expected." Satsuki said with a smile of her own.

Everyone chose to ignore that comment. Where they then decided to share the information that they learned. In a nutshell, there is no way to escape without outside help or tools and their movements are limited. While the students are accommodated with comforting dorm rooms and food that is constantly refilled based on how much everyone eats. Another thing worth noting were the hidden traps Satsuki found when helping a few students trying to move past some gated areas. Along with the fact that they are under constant surveillance.

"So we're stuck here then." Mondo said feeling annoyed.

"The only upside to our predicament is that we will be in good health during our extended stay." Celestia said.

"Hell no! I do not want to stay here any longer than we have to!" Junko yelled angrily.

"It can't be that bad. I mean, it's only a matter of time until the police find us. Someone must be concerned with long we've been gone." Aoi said trying to be optimistic as usual.

With everyone relying on hope or trying to plan out a way to escape. They decided to head to their respect dorm rooms for the night. As Celestia suggested to follow the rules of the curfew as staying up past the recommended time would stress everyone out. Making it easier for someone to get too stressed. Meaning there is the chance someone could become murderous.

Some ignored the idea, but decided to head to sleep for the night anyways.

Except for Satsuki who was confronted by someone, "May I help you, Ogami-san?" she asked.

Out from the shadows came the muscular woman, "Hello Kiryuin-san." Sakura greeted respectfully. "I was meaning to talk to you when the time was right." she said.

"Speak whatever is on your mind." Satsuki said.

"By chance, do you know a man by the name of, Ira Gamagori?" Sakura asked.

"I do, he is the Head of the Disciplinary Committee from my school." Satsuki answered.

"I see." Sakura replied.

"Do you have a close relationship with him?" Satsuki asked.

"In a way, besides my own father. He's the strongest man I know and the one I want to defeat some day." Sakura began to explain. "However, he's always been a by the book type of guy. So one day, he told me about a girl who wanted to "destroy" the structure of the school he was in. I saw that rare fire of determination when his latest goal becomes the most difficult." she tried to explain.

That brought back some nostalgic memories. Satsuki can remember the day she met Gamagori when he was a hall monitor or was it class president? Satsuki did not worry about the details, but Gamagori was still the same man back then and was having trouble dealing with popular kids who picked on the weak by using the power of their parents. In turn, Satsuki saw such power being wasted and ended up stripping the popular kids of their leverage over a boy they were bullying into jumping off a roof.

Of course, Gamagori did not like Satsuki one bit. As he saw Satsuki as another punk who believed herself to be entitled to ruling the school. Then came the day of graduation for Gamagori and he refused to graduate and leave knowing Satsuki still had a lot of influence and control. Gamagori still lost the final fight but through some persuasion and promises that were genuine. Gamagori dedicated his loyalty to Satsuki.

"So here I am, surprised that he's loyal to some "troublemaker" with too much power as he said back then.." Sakura finished.

"I see, do you have a problem with me Ogami-san?" Satsuki asked, almost as if it were a challenge.

Sakura's face maintained a look of seriousness, "No, just… curiosity." She answered. "I can't see it, but there's more to you than the voice of authority and strength to put someone like Mondo down." she said.

"If this is the request of a challenge. Then you may have to be patient." Satsuki warned.

"It's not, but if it was. I think I would have to push that back for a while. I just wanted to know is what changed in my distant cousin." Sakura said surprising Satsuki a bit.

Satsuki gave her a small smile, "You will see soon enough. Good evening Ogami-san." she said.

"Good evening to you too Kiryuin-san." Sakura said before leaving towards her own dorm room.

As Satsuki left to reflect on the new information. She heard some tapping on the wall. It was fairly loud and repeatedly going on for a few minutes. Of course, Satsuki assumed that the school became cheap on maintenance. However, a few seconds in, Satsuki could almost understand the sounds as if someone were communicating with her.

'I will see how this continues tomorrow.' Satsuki thought before hearing the same pattern again before bed.

Day 2

Everyone spent the entire day trying to find an escape again. A needed reminder was the fact that no one had any ability or resources to break the barriers that contained everyone. Leaving everyone feeling hopeless as no amount of brute force would be able break out of their prison. Of course, things did not get any better with Monokuma mocking them and trying their best to get them to commit murder.

Then suddenly disappearing once he was gone. That annoying animatronic started to get on everyone's nerves.

It didn't help that no one could keep their talks discreet. As Monokuma was listening in on them 24/7. Except maybe the bathrooms but even then, everyone had their doubts about having any privacy there. Thinking about it now, Satsuki felt concern as she attempted to remind Naegi about the fashion show which he clearly can't remember and neither did anyone else. As Satsuki was later approached by Celestia who mentioned she was a big fan of her mother Ragyo as was Sayaka.

Though Satsuki kept her professional, it was more proof that no one remembered the year the class already spent together. Meanwhile, that noise in her room was repeating itself in the morning and started to change later into the afternoon. As this happened, Satsuki moved closer to her walls as she listened closely to the sounds when Naegi knocked on her door.

Once accepted in, Satsuki gestured for silence, "Okay." Naegi said before being slapped on the head. "Ow." he whispered.

All Naegi could do was stare and wonder what Satsuki was doing so close to the wall. When suddenly, the camera above her had shorted out and hanged loosely. Along with the sounds of several other devices short circuiting.

Satsuki gave a slight smile, "I suppose we are free to speak freely now. I was afraid our previous conversation was being overheard." she said as Naegi paled.

"You mean they were listening to us when we met?" Naegi asked.

"Most likely." Satsuki answered as she took out her student ID device Monokuma gave to her and the class. "It seems as if this was a manual attack on the technology. Not an EMP." she said.

"So we're free talk about… that day?" Naegi asked.

"Yes, now then. Did you have something to report or were you here to socialize?" Satsuki asked.

Naegi scratched his head sheepishly, "I was hoping to see when it was a good time to talk about our conversation. Since Sayaka and Celestia were fans of your mom. Heck, I never heard of her before." He explained.

"I see, I can confirm that this adds to my suspicions. As those two volunteered for the fashion show, but a few other such as yourself were forcefully taken to participate." Satsuki explained as the memories were still clear in her mind.

Naegi sweat dropped, "It sounds embarrassing really. I bet I screwed up." he said while chuckling nervously.

"I did say that you and another boy got stitched together on accident. Though everyone loved it as they thought it was some artistic statement." Satsuki explained before hearing the noise again.

Once again, Naegi was gestured into silence for a couple of minutes. Before suddenly witnessing Satsuki knock on the walls in a strange pattern. Naegi was prepared to ask what Satsuki was up to. A black portal opened up and a katana came out from it. Satsuki smirked as she picked up her valuable weapon before a school uniform came with it.

"Thank you Langris." Satsuki said gratefully.

"I helped too!" said a female voice.

"Be quiet Camie." said the voice of Langris before the portal closed.

Naegi looked very confused, "What is that?" He asked curiously.

"How dependable would you consider yourself to be?" Satsuki asked.

"I try not to screw up, but I'm still clumsy." Naegi said suddenly having the urge to be brutally honest.

"Good enough, now put this under your clothes." Satsuki said as she gave him the uniform.

"What? Why?" Naegi asked before being given a scary look. Naegi saluted Satsuki, "I mean, yes ma'am!" he said before running into the bathroom to change.

Meanwhile Satsuki had to come up with an uncomfortable method to hide her sword. All the while Monokuma kicked the door open in a frenzy.

"What happened!? Why is the camera disabled!?" Monokuma asked frantically.

"Your surveillance is as faulty as your administration." Satsuki commented, with her weapon having somehow disappeared.

Monokuma suddenly started looking around every corner of the room in an attempt to see if Satsuki was hiding anything. Like a cartoon character, Monokuma defied physics as he tried looking around. Even going as far as to walk on the ceiling while looking around with a magnifying glass. When he sighed and jumped back down.

Suddenly, Monokuma heard the toilet flushing.

"Who's there!?" Monokuma demanded as Naegi came out. Monkuma suddenly had a tick mark on his head, "Why are you here!?" he asked.

"My toilet is clogged." Naegi lied as smoothly as possible.

Monokuma looked at him in silence before groaning, "What kind of Lucky Student are you? First your door doesn't work, now your toilet is broken?" he asked.

"Pretty much." Naegi said as Monokuma slapped his own forehead.

"Get out! I need to get some maintenance done!" Monokuma ordered as he suddenly had a hard hat on his head.

"Very well. Let us go." Satsuki said as the two left.

Monokuma cursed as he tried to fix the camera, "What the? This isn't even broken from the outside! Now I need to order a new camera entirely!" he yelled angrily as the pair gestured at each other in silence.

Unaware that Kyoko Kirigiri was watching the pair from a distance.

Day 3

As usual, there was still no progress on escaping the school. Even then, the class still maintained a decent level of morale. So Monokuma is still left unsatisfied with the lack of murderous intent. So he tried to confront the entire class about what it needed to take to kill each other.

"What is the matter with you people? Since when are humans civilized all of a sudden?" Monokuma asked with much frustration.

Naegi glared at the robot bear, "We are not going to kill each other Monokuma. No matter how much you want us to play your sick game. You can't trick us." he said with a voice of determination.

But suddenly, Monokuma had a new idea when he heard Naegi's words. Monkuma slapped his head as he realized he was missing the important aspect of the killing game he wanted. Sure, the setting was tense and everyone was getting on each other's nerves, but that's not enough to commit murder.

"How do I forget something that important?" Monokuma asked making everyone feel nervous. "I had everything planned, the tense atmosphere, the pressure I'm putting you all through and here I forgot the important part!" he said berating himself.

"What are you talking about?" Leon asked as he felt tense.

"The atmosphere! Everyone, report to the multimedia room for an important visual presentation!" Monokuma ordered before disappearing.

Multimedia room

Doing as the bear commanded, everyone made their way to the room where they found several computers active. All of which they had a designated student that needed to sit at them. Upon sitting, each student found a disc with their name drawn in marker. Prompting everyone to start playing their individual discs while listening to the video's audio on headphones. As Satsuki almost found herself doing the same, she quickly thought back to Monokuma's sudden excitement.

In an act of desperation, Satsuki did not risk finding out what Monokuma had in store for her. As she rubbed the back of the disc with her sleeve and doing so on the roughest part of her outfit. Making sure that the disc would be damaged by many scratches before slipping the disc inside of the computer's slot.

Doing so, the video started to play despite some frame rate and audio issues. The video started to show a mix of Honnoji Academy along with some imagery of the REVOCS building headquarters. Satsuki found this to be odd until the entire video started to act funny and showed images of a destroyed society before completely freezing. Satsuki sighed as she closed her eyes, thinking this was a fear tactic attempting to make her think someone or somewhere close to her was under attack or destroyed without her guidance.

At least that's what she assumed. Maybe a tidbit of the girl's pride did make her worry about what was going on. However, she remembered that Langris and Camie was out there and most likely Inumuta too as he was likely the reason for the camera falling apart the other day.

'Still, that leaves me concerned as to who has been manipulated.' Satsuki thought before hearing a scream.

She looked up and saw Sayaka screaming as she stood up from her computer, "I have to leave! I need to get out!" she screamed.

"Sayaka wait!" Naegi called out only for Sayaka to run out of the room.

As everyone suddenly felt fear, anxiety and overall extreme tension from watching their video. Naegi suddenly found himself feeling calm albeit a bit numb. Naegi proceeded to stumble out while clutching his head as he felt a bit lightheaded.

Satsuki proceeded to follow him while everyone else started to run out to calm down a bit. She then saw Naegi sitting by the wall as he winced in pain. The Ultimate Lucky Student pulled up his sleeve a bit and saw the sleeve Goku Uniform he had on. Where he noticed a small needle piercing his arm and releasing a small liquid.

He was about to panic when Satsuki dragged him up by the hood, "Calm down, your clothes are telling you that much." she said cryptically.

Naegi was beyond confused, but would later learn that what he was given was a tranquilizer. At least a small dosage of one or a similar tool as to calm him down. Maybe the video he saw made him get too stressed to the point that the uniform collect his thoughts.

'That wasn't a part of the original design. I'll have to ask Shiro about it later.' Satsuki thought.

Later that night

While sitting in the bathroom, Naegi looked around as best he could for cameras and other devices around him. He also decided to stay as quiet as possible as he it was suggested by Satsuki that there are hidden listening devices. If Monokuma can't SEE them, it doesn't mean he can't HEAR them. With that cautious logic, Naegi kept his movements limited as he looked at the uniform he had on.

Where he just took a few looks at the sleeves and chest area. The uniform looked pretty generic despite the massive star. Yet, it was unique and he could tell one the tranquilizer appeared and made his mind relax and his body go a bit numb. No matter how much Naegi tried, he honestly could not remember Satsuki before the first day or the fashion show she kept mentioning. With that alone, something told him that Satsuki is no ordinary girl and that was before portals started to open up and security equipment broke down.

'This is beyond weird. I almost want to say I can't trust Satsuki, but Monokuma really doesn't like her.' Naegi said as he was trying to understand Satsuki. Thinking about how convenient this all is for him to meet her, 'This suit isn't ordinary is it? I bet there's more to it than being a stress reliever.' he thought as he looked moved towards the mirror.

Naegi continued to contemplate his situation before hearing a knock at the door. Before he left, he accidentally felt down on the floor. Mentally cursing his clumsiness, Naegi picked himself up before finding chunks of the sink in his hands. Naegi looked back at the sink and realized he put enough pressure to shatter the sink.

'No way, this place has too much quality to just break down. I'm also not exactly fit like Mondo or Leon.' Naegi thought as he put down the broken sink fragments.

As Naegi quickly ran to answer the door, he was greeted with a friendly face.

"Hi Naegi, can we talk?"

"Sayaka? Sure, how are you feeling?" Naegi asked.

"I think I've calmed down a bit. Is it okay if I can come inside?" Sayaka asked. When suddenly the camera started to short circuit, "Is something wrong?" she asked.

"No, I think it was just the ventilation or something. I guess Monokuma was being cheap on maintenance." Naegi answered with a nervous chuckle.

Sayaka giggled, "Maybe." she replied.

"Come in, what did you want to talk about?" Naegi asked as Sayaka came in.

With The Rest of the group

Sakura looked at the pile of magazines with curiosity, "You sure look different." she pointed out to Junko.

Junko giggled, "I know, it's embarrassing really. My manager and his team like to edit stuff out. It's some typical celebrity stuff with digital editing." she explained. "Seriously, all the famous actors and singers do it so they can look more attractive. I guess freckles weren't on the list of things for the photoshoots." she said.

Satsuki smiled, "At least you are honest. The only thing wrong with your faults is denying them or avoid trying to improve upon them. Being a real person in reality suits you Enoshima-san." she said.

"Aw, thank you." Junko said in a sweet voice.

"Someone sounds happy." Mondo said as he rarely hears Satsuki say anything.

Even most of her speeches of encouragement are mostly filled with negativity or put down most of the class with insults. Now it felt foreign to hear Satsuki speak so highly of Junko just for admitting the fraudulence in the modeling industry.

"You are most welcome, after all. The Junko with us is much more of a pleasant person than the ones in a magazine." Satsuki said as Junko's eye twitched.

"I think I know what you mean." Junko said.

"Of course, it also helps you are not like the typical celebrities. Acting kindly for a camera and having a disgusting soul in reality. Such a shallow individual has no place among us or anywhere on this world for that matter." Satsuki explained.

'And here come the insults.' everyone thought dryly.

At least until they saw Junko gripping the table tightly, "Okay, that's nice and all. Oh would you look at the time! I'm super tired!" she said as she stood up and started walking. "Good night everyone!" she said.

"Good night." almost everyone said half heartedly.

Satsuki took a sip of her tea while studying Junko's retreating form. All the while several students wonder where the tea came from.

"She seems a bit on edge." Sakura said while also enjoying tea.

"The stress has never left my by body the moment I woke up in this bomb shelter we call a school." Byakuya said while sipping his tea. "At least the tea is good enough to remove my nerves." he adds.

"Where did all that tea come from?" Aoi asked curiously.

Back with Naegi and Sayaka

After helping comfort the idol a bit. Naegi decided to step out for a moment to get some fresh air. When instead, he was gifted with darkness as he heard electricity go out. Along with what seemed to be an explosion of some kind. Not an explosion as in a live bomb like Monokuma turned out to be, but like a loud pop followed by some minor destruction. With it being loud enough for Sayaka to come running out, looking frantic.

"What happened!?" Sayaka asked.

"I don't know, but it sounds like it came from nearby." Naegi said as he ran down the hall.

Sayaka looked around in worry before deciding to follow her classmate. When she saw him stop, Sayaka was shocked to see the cause of the explosion. In front of Naegi was a destroyed Monokuma who had released several sharp spike that were stabbing Junko's body. However, the girl wasn't as injured as she looked as she slowly pulled all of them out.

That's when another Monkuma appeared, "Mukuro you idiot! Did you destroy one of my robots for no reason!?" he yelled.

Junko winced, "It wasn't my fault, the electronics were acting up and this one…"

"I don't want to hear an excuse! Are you that stupid that you can't go and act like a normal person for at least a week!?" Monokuma asked angrily as Junko started to look nervous. Monokuma started pacing around before sighing, "Go clean yourself up! I have to…"

*CRUNCH*

Naegi cursed his luck as he realized he stepped on a broken fragment of Monokuma. Generating a loud sound that got the attention of "Junko" and Monokuma. The bear immediately started to sweat before looking around frantically. Only to bow his head at them.

"And… scene." Monokuma said as if this were the end of a play.

"Naegi, what do we do?" Sayaka whispered.

Naruto gulped as he put on a serious face, "The one thing I learned when dealing with a serious situation." he answered. When he suddenly picked up Sayaka in his arms, "Run away!" He shouted as he started running away.

Monokuma growled as his claws came out, "You want to redeem yourself. Go kill them Mukuro!" he ordered.

"Right sister!" Mukuro yelled as her wig came off and she started chasing the pair.

"Try making it look like an accident or at least make it look like some lovers suicide pact!" Monokuma yelled.

Meanwhile, Naegi was doing his best to move as quickly as possible. Only being able to move quickly enough to avoid being stabbed by the claws coming out of Mukuro's fingertips.

"Makoto, what is she!?" Sayaka asked.

"I don't know! I think Satsuki was onto something earlier!" Naegi answered.

"Satsuki-san!?" Sayaka asked as Mukuro's eyes widened.

"Yeah, I uh… probably should not have said anything." Naegi said before avoiding a claw to the back.

Mukuro glared at the two as she came closer. When all of a sudden, the gated path to the next floor opened. Naegi didn't any chances and ran straight through the opened path. With the gate immediately closing down on Mukuro's torso. Thinking they were safe, Naegi stopped halfway through the stairs.

"Is she dead?" Naegi asked.

The two students looked at Mukuro's downed form as she looked silent. Her torso was hit pretty hard by the gate and there's no doubt that alone would kill a human being. When suddenly, Mukuro started to slowly push up the gate without too fazed.

"No! Run!" Sayaka begged.

Naegi nodded, "Okay!" He yelled as he did his best to escape from Mukuro.

All the while, some of the cameras focused their attention solely on Naegi and Sayaka. The current user of this surveillance equipment started to think about the events leading up to this killing game.

The past, before waking up in Hopes Peak

With Sanageyama

*THUMP*

After a long and excruciatingly long battle. Sanageyama was able to defeat Uzu Kamakura after having been forced to use the real power of his Three Star Goku Uniform. The battle wasn't exhausting because Izuru had some way to combat the uniform in it's true form, but because Uzu himself had his pride on the line when it came to fighting him one on one.

"This bastard really is the Ultimate Ultimate or whatever his title was." Sanageyama said as he powered down his Blade Regalia.

"Perhaps you should stop slouching." said a familiar voice, though it sounded mechanical.

"What the? Inamuta is that you?" Sanageyama said as he looked around.

"I see your perception still functions well. Even after that long haired lab rat beat you senselessly after taking things more seriously." Inumuta said.

"Say that to my face and maybe I'll show you how much sense I got!" Sanageyama said angrily.

Suddenly a drone appeared in front of his face, "I do not wish to repeat myself. Regardless, I see you managed to do your job and will send the recordings after Lady Satsuki completes her mission." Inamuta said as the drone turned around. "After all, Izuru Kamakura is a dangerous foe with untapped potential. The laboratory where he was made deemed him a failure, but there is still so much to learn from him." Inamuta continued to say.

"Yeah yeah, forget about Emo Captain America. What do we do with him now?" Sanageyama said.

"We keep him in containment obviously. There is no way that those scientists were fully aware of the fact that this boy is a hybrid of both human and Life Fibers. He will need to be studied should more be made." Inamuta said as he felt suspicious of Izuru Kamakura, rather Hajime Hinata's existence.

"Fine, let's get out before that Future Foundation group arrives." Sanageyama said as several more drones arrived.

All of which fired wires at Izuru's unconscious body and proceeded to slowly take him away. Inamuta's drone also proceeded to fly away with Sanageyama himself running off towards their hideout. Leaving behind a city heavily surrounded in flames. Unaware that many electronics were still functioning and were about to release a brand new advertisement at the same time.

At Hopes Peak Academy

Now feeling some sense of retribution, Junko grinned as she saw Sastsuki tied up and on her knees. Almost waiting to hear the girl beg for mercy, but that cold stare was always present. That look Satsuki gave Junko infuriated the latter to no end. It wasn't a look of anger or superiority. It was hard to describe in Junko's head as her ability to analyze others could not pick up anything other than this sense of authority that surrounds her.

"If you expect me to plead for anything. It will be for you to purchase a reliable brand of toothpaste." Satsuki said as Junko felt angry. "If your lack of hygiene says anything about you. It may explain your need to destroy conformity." she adds.

Even now, Junko could feel the Kiryuin heiress looking down upon her. Which felt weird considering she was the one forcefully kneeling before her.

Satsuki's Law: Even if it object or individual in question is right above her head. Satsuki will look down upon it.

"You're not going to be laughing…"

"Find nothing about this situation I consider hilarious." Satsuki interrupted.

"Let me finish!" Junko yelled as slapped Satsuki's face.

Now it became more frustrating as Satsuki looked like she had been hit by a napkin than by a person. By this point, Junko might as well be talking to a statue giving her dirty looks.

"Listen here Ms. Nice and Tidy! You lose this time! You were all happy being in control! Now, all that power belongs to me now that you left yourself open to my sister catching you off guard!" Junko barks.

"This is only a temporary setback for me Enoshima." Satsuki said somewhat admitting her loss.

Junko gave Satsuki a tired look, "Oh yeah? How are you going to do it without your fancy sword?" she asked as she waved Bakuzan in front of her face. "I'm lucky that Mukuro decided to be useful for once." she said.

"Thank you for the compliment sister." Mukuro said.

"Shut up, I wasn't talking to you stupid. You're a bad listener." Junko said as Mukuro accepted another abusive insult towards her. "Now, you take our perfectionist here to the room." Junko commanded.

Mukuro nodded, "Very well sister!" she said as she struggled to lift Satsuki over her shoulder.

"As I said Enoshima, this is a setback. I control those beneath me because they are sheep with no thoughts of there own." Satsuki said as Mukuro started carrying her away. "You only seek control out of sheer pleasure and no direction." she finished.

Junko scoffed, "Like, I'm not into the leadership crap. This isn't some revolution I'm planning. It's despair, someone uptight like her doesn't seem to get the message." she said before walking off to deal with the rest of the students.

With Ragyo

"The advertisement is live all around the world, Lady Ragyo." Rei said to her master.

Ragyo smiled as she sat down on a chair with a good view of the window. Only to frown as she saw several groups of people forming a mob. Those insects proceeded to run towards the building that she was in as they saw it was still in perfect condition.

"While you are at it. Remind security to keep the "unmentionables" away." Ragyo said.

"At once Lady Ragyo." Rei said as she pushed a few buttons on her tablet.

The next things Ragyo sees is a series of individuals in strange uniforms running out and disabling the mob. Luckily Ragyo was too far away to hear the ugly screaming of the mob being beaten to near death by the security force's hands. Even worse, they somehow got their hands on a helicopter that was about to ram into Ragyo's floors.

"There's an insect hitting the windshield." Ragyo said subtly.

"I'm sorry about that ma'am." Rei said as a laser came out of nowhere and shot down the helicopter.

Causing it to crash somewhere into the ground below them. Where did such a weapon come from? Where was it even installed?

"And now your visual experience is no longer impeded Lady Ragyo." Rei said as she bowed.

Maybe it didn't matter wherever that random laser originated.

Regardless, Ragyo watched as her advertisement went live. She watched with satisfaction as she saw Junko's movie play. Instead of the normal torture porn that Junko planned in order to make everyone go insane. The film suddenly turned into a mix of a clothing and political advertisement. As the edited imagery of the film suddenly made everyone pay closer attention.

"The new and fresh line everyone envies. When life loses all meaning and your will is gone. Always look up to REVOCS." The female voice on the film said.

Suddenly, every rioter who stopped and watched the video felt some stillness. As if they had no purpose in running around and destroying society anymore. In fact, now they all looked desperate to survive and tried to huddle together.

"The sheep are finally being domesticated. That's a good sign." Ragyo said as the fighting all around Japan started to quiet down. "Junko Enoshima, so young and optimistic but naive as well. What good is despair if it's just gambling on how far back we will be set back?" she asked.

"My calculations predicted that we would be in the stone age if the tragedy Junko had planned had been successful." Rei said.

Ragyo sighed, "Humans have learned to wear clothes since we were neanderthals Rei. Did you know that?" she asked. Rei nodded, "Then you know how annoying repetition can be. Now then, make sure there is not a single providence, city or even an alleyway that does not rely on REVOCS." she ordered.

"It will be done Lady Ragyo. The film on it's own is quite a success I might add." Rei said as Ragyo laughed in delight.

"Yes, yes it is. Perhaps Enoshima has some worth, but let's see how she fares with Satsuki again." Ragyo said.

Though the Kiryuin matriarch is not completely optimistic about Junko improving and being able to defeat Satsuki. Ragyo wanted to be patient and wait out the results of her investment in Junko.

Back at Hopes Peak Academy

Unaware of Ragyo highjacking her film and completely changing it into turning the audience into mindless slaves than barbaric zombies. Junko continued to plan out the next stage of her plan. She waited for Mukuro to finish collecting Class 78 as she needed them and Satsuki for an important task.

The next Killing Game!

"What is taking Mukuro so long? She's so slow, she makes turtles look like cheetahs!" Junko whined.

"Perhaps that sister of yours is taking the time to develop a spine." Satsuki said.

While Satsuki did often insult and belittle others by claiming they lacked the intelligence to function on their own. Satsuki made sure that her own servants and subordinates such as the four divas were capable of making their own decisions. Instead of following every order like a drone or making a mistake because they were unable to adapt to the situation. Meanwhile Mukuro is the Ultimate soldier and has qualities that could rivals some of Satsuki's divas.

Like Gamagori's discipline, Sangeyama's strength and even Jakuzure's loyalty. Instead, Mukuro is a mindless puppet who sees insults as a sign of affection like a masochist. With no capability of growth on her own.

"Anyone who is around you for this long and not give into insanity deserves an award." Satsuki said giving a light smirk.

Junko's eyes started to twitch, "Big talk from the school bully. Especially since that's all you can do now." she shot back.

"I am willing to accept any challenge when you ask me to." Satsuki said, further infuriating Junko.

Junko started to take deep breaths, "No, don't let her get on your skin." she said as Mukuro arrived with the rest of Class 78. "Now Satsuki, I think you deserve a little nap." she said.

Satsuki maintained her look of seriousness and silence as Junko dragged her to some table meant for patients. Junko proceeded to mess around with some tools and devices before pulling out a gas mask.

"Don't worry, it's not as bad as my breath." Junko said sarcastically.

Satsuki prepared for the worst as she found herself unable to stay conscious for too long. As the Despair sisters continued the same process with the other students. At the corner of her eye, Satsuki saw a few threads trying to escape her outfit before losing consciousness.

It was at this point, that Satsuki would lose her memory. Originally, the girl was meant to have no memory of anything within the past year. Maybe up to the point where she arrived at Hopes Peak for the cultural exchange program. Leaving Junko unaware as to what made the memory removal stop at the beginning of the current semester instead.

Even when disabled, it appeared that Satsuki had allies and resources that seem to function on their own when she's gone. For pigs in human clothing as she calls the average person, Satsuki somehow knew how to discipline them on how to function independently when need be.

TO BE CONTINUED…

Omake #1 - Making the Despair Girls Feel Despair

Junko growled, she didn't know how it happened. It all went so perfectly and now here she is tied to a chair with a blindfold covering her sight.

"Mukuro, if this is some kinky perverted crap you are into. I am disowning you!" Junko shouted.

"It isn't me sister, somehow they got to me as well." Mukuro replied as she was also tied up.

"Oh good, then you're just useless then." Junko said sarcastically. Only to struggle in her binds, "Just who the hell did this to us!?" she yelled.

Suddenly, Junko's blindfold was removed and she looked up to see Izuru Kamakura standing over her. As Izuru removed Mukuro's blindfold and ignored Junko's questions and threats. Izuru proceeded to force the two to wear headphones as he connected a small flatscreen television in front of them.

"What are we going to do? Watch home movies?" Junko asked mockingly.

"I am going to show you my own movie." Izuru said as he played a video on the television.

"Yup, definitely going to barf. It can't be any worse than Green Lantern can it?" Junko asked.

"Or The Room." Mukuro said.

"Mukuro you dumb ass! The Room is a masterpiece!" Junko yelled as she tried to hurt her sister but couldn't due to the restraints.

"Enjoy Junko, Mukuro. For this is the most vial thing either of you can witness without breaking down and losing your sanity. To the point neither of you will be anything more than vegetables." Izuru explained as the video turned on.

The girls glared at Izuru before watching the video load up.

"Actually, you should see how Nui reacted." Izuru said as he pulled out a photo.

One where Nui impaled herself with a weapon meant to kill Life Fiber hybrids like herself. If that didn't help, Izuru showed them another photo of Nui finally lying on the ground dead.

"That's not real, like no way." Junko said denying that Izuru made Nui kill herself.

Only to hear Mukuro scream, "NOOOOOO! TURN IT OFF! PLEASE!" and thus she surprised Junko by breaking down into tears.

"Mukuro, stop screaming over… AHHHHHH! WHAT IS THIS!? THIS IS WORSE THAN ANYTHING I WOULD EVER DO!" Junko screamed as she turned pale.

Junko attempted to close her eyes and turn her head. Only for Izuru to force her eyes open and make her watch the rest. As the headphones on her head continued to play to horrible audio.

"Do you like my movie Junko? Do you feel the Despair?" Izuru asked.

Junko was already in tears, "Please stop it. I'll… I'll… I'll let you have Mukuro as a sex slave. You can have control over my Monokuma robots. There's all of those abused kids I adopted and trained to be like me, you can have them! Please… TURN IT OFF!" she pleaded.

"Ok." Izuru said as he turned off the sreen.

"I CAN STILL HEAR IT SISTER!" Mukuro screamed as Junko broke down into tears again.

"LET ME GO! THIS IS BEYOND DESPAIR!" Junko begged as she started shaking in her chair before falling to the side.

As the Despair sisters continued to weep and beg. Izuru looked at them in curiosity. So this was Desapir? Izuru nodded as he got a good handle of it. Thinking about it, the Ultimate Hope beleived Junko to be a hypocrite. How could she feel Despair? She caused it yes, but it just feels like sadism mixed with insanity. Was the ultimate goal to create insanity and anarchy?

"I am not satisfied." Izuru said as the girls continued to shake around in an attempt to escape.

For what Izuru had shown the Despair Sisters wasn't something vial. There are a lot of things in this world that make humanity look like a disgusting mistake. Ranging from murder to destruction to mental manipulation, but the one thing these girls could not handle was what Izuru came across.

A music video of an up and coming rap artist named, Miyuki Shirogane.

Mukuro sobbed in the background, "He sounds like a sea cucumber… please make him stop." she pleaded.

"I have four hours of his rap videos left." Izuru said as Mukuro continued to scream and cry. "Actually I think he's pretty good. There's a live concert that's still being planned despite this tragedy going on. I wish to bring someone with me." he said.

By this point, Junko was biting on her arm in an attempt to release herself.
