Naming
Part 1: a wonderful opportunity
When Pansy Parkinson wrote her book 'The war undercover' about her role as a spy for the order of the Phoenix during the war, she never expected it to be such a hit. The response to her book was everything she dreamed about. So when she got an offer to do a tour in the States to present her book, everybody expected her to accept immediately. But she actually considered declining the offer. For the sole reason that she didn't want to leave her husband Ronald Weasley.
During the war she had fallen for the redhead. And after he saved her life during the final battle, they finally admitted their feelings for each other. Since that day they became inseparable. And it was only three months later that they got married.
Many people didn't agree with their marriage because of several different reasons, not all too clear to her. Some didn't trust her because she was a Parkinson, some because she was a Slytherin... Frankly she couldn't care less, as long her husband believed in her and their marriage.
And that was the only thing she feared losing when she went to the States.
She knew it was his wish to have children, but she had told him that there was no way that that would happen. It wasn't like she didn't like children, heaven knows how many times they looked after his nephews and nieces, she just didn't see herself as a mother. Or at least that was what she told him...
Ron had accepted her veto, simply because he didn't have any other choice, but she feared that this was the one thing that could break up their marriage. And she was afraid that other people would use this against her while she was in the States. So she decided not to go.
But for once Ron didn't listen to any of her vague explanations about why she wasn't going to go. He merely asked if she was completely mental and stated that there would not be any discussion because she was going. He didn't want her blaming herself for letting this opportunity go. So she left for three weeks and Ron stayed home.
