The woman had a look at me, a very good look. Then she said to me, "This is no walk in the park young lady, someone could see you." I then said, "Well I'm not sure if I can trust you like I don't trust Xanatos. He's not the one to trust." The woman smirked at me and she said, "Don't go hard on me since I heard about you being an outsider and I know that you're not."
I gasped. I learned her name is Elisa. I asked her, "How did you know?" She said, "Your mother told me." I got my eyes wide. My mother told her? Before I had time to ask, we heard a low growl. I then got brave and took my grandfather's sword out.
Elisa got her gun out and she said, "Ok pal. Let me see you, nice and easy." I then shouted, "Come on you pesky coward, come on out and let me see you. I command you to let the woman see you nice and easy." Then what we saw was a gargoyle beast.
It snarled at us. Elisa and I gasped. Elisa said, "Marina, help me with this." She learned my name from my mother. Just as she was about to shoot the beast, a scary claw like hand grabbed her gun. I got my eyes wide and Elisa gasped. We saw a lavender gargoyle! I remember the gargoyle from the stories that my father, grandfather and uncle told me. It looks like the one from the story they told me. I got suspicious with that creature. The claw like hand smashed Elisa's gun. I got a brave look on my face. I didn't notice Elisa backing up and then I heard her. That caused me to turn around and saw her falling! I got my eyes wide.
I looked down. I also took notice of the lavender gargoyle going after her. I hope that Elisa would be ok. Then a few moments passed and I saw Elisa. She's ok. She took a few deep breaths before she gasped.
I looked and said with a jump, "Whoa!" The gargoyle beast. Elisa and I forgot about that. Elisa said, "I forget him." I got my grandfather's sword and said, "Don't worry Elisa, I'll scare that thing away for you." However I heard a deep voice that said, "He won't hurt you." I looked and got my eyes wide. The gargoyle can talk? This couldn't be real, the gargoyles can't talk.
The lavender gargoyle looked at us and asked us what are we doing here and told Elisa to not fall off the building this time and it looked at me and said, "As for you, put your sword away please." I nervously giggled and put my sword away. I then got my eyes wide when I heard it's name was Goliath.
I then said, "The story is true, a thousand years ago, you and your kind that's barely were betrayed by the one human you trusted your whole life and you and your kind were put under a deep sleep that would last until the castle would rise above the clouds. Also you were named after the Philistine giant that fought David."
Goliath nodded and said, "You're right." I can't believe the stories my father, grandfather and uncle told me were true. Elisa then asked if anyone else knows about him. Goliath then said that only Xanatos, he brought them here. I sighed and shook my head. Elisa saw the look on my face. She asked me, "What is it?" I said, "Xanatos is not the one to trust. My family doesn't trust him mostly." I then got my eyes wide.
I saw more gargoyles. I got suspicious. Something's not right. Goliath said that there's barley his kind. I don't know what is going on.I then decided to get my grandfather's sword out. After that though, my father's helmet, top part fell off and landed on my face.
This is getting annoying. I fixed my helmet. Elisa then said, "This can't be happening." I still have the brave look on my face. Then I backed up when the red gargoyle sniffed me after it sniffed Elisa.
The red gargoyle asked Goliath if we are new friends and Elisa said, "Boy I hope so." I added saying to her, "I agree with you." Then I heard a female gargoyle saying, "Oh don't worry, we don't bite… that much." I got my eyes wide and pointed my sword at the female gargoyle.
The female gargoyle got her claws up and she said, "Whoa, whoa, easy." I then said, "Don't you DARE hurt this woman while I am here. Submit the power I have, BE GONE! GET AWAY!" The female gargoyle started to say before I shouted at her, "Wait! I would never…" "Go away!" The female gargoyle glared at me and said, "I would never harm her or you."
I groaned in anger and said, "Get away from us!" Elisa stopped me when she said, "Ok Marina, I think she's had enough." I took a deep breath to calm down. Then I began to realize the sun is about to rise. I then said, "I can't stay, I have to go." Elisa then asked me just as I was about to leave, "When will I see you again Marina?" I turned around and looked at her.
I answered her, "Oh I don't know, that might depend how busy you are." Elisa asked me, "How busy I am?" I then said, "Well maybe on one of your days off." Elisa then said that tomorrow is her day off and that is perfect.
I left before anyone discovered me.
