The Story

Tell him goodbye! That is what Elspeth told Daffyd to tell me- goodbye.

And the armband. He gave me her armband so I believed him. Elspeth didn't tell him the true meaning of her giving him the armband. Whenever the leader of a guild gives up their armband is when they are dying and there is no chance of them surviving. I haven't told anyone else about it. God- I can't bare to think about it, it hurts too much.

Good-bye.

I didn't even get to say good-bye to her, I never will. I will never get to tell her how I truly feel about her.

Good-bye.

I love her. I lover her I love her. I will always love her and she will never know.Even though I loved her it is unlikely that she would have loved me in return, though we do have some kind of connection it will only be friendship on her part. Good-bye; not I love you.

Good-bye.

I truly can't believe that she is dead. She can't be! I refuse to believe it even though I know it must be true. If I knew this was going to happen I would of told her how I felt, even if she didn't feel the same way. If she did I would have made sure we bonded.

Good-bye.

I am no longer how I used to be, I'm so… so heartbroken. The other people living at Obernewtyn know something's wrong just not what. The suspect it is to do with the news that Daffyd brought with him- that the soldierguards are planning on investigating my claim that Obernewtyn was destroyed by a firestorm. At the moment Dragon is practicing her illusion to fool the soldierguards for when they come; if they do.

Good-bye.

When they asked for news about Elspeth, Daffyd just told them that she was coming, but taking awhile because of her feet. He also told us about Jik's death even though Maryon had predicted his death not long after they left. I suppose I'll have to tell them the truth about her sometime soon, they deserve to know the truth especially Ceirwan.

Good-bye.

Just the other day I heard people talking about her. Even though I haven't told them that she is dead they think she will be before long, caught out in the snow and cold unless she found shelter. She won't survive out there for much longer. It has already been three days since the pass closed over.

Good-bye.

Good-bye Elspeth. I love you and always will.
