A/N: Hello everyone!
So I could never get back into my original account, angelflutest, so I decided to rewrite my old stories and update them and reupload them onto this account.
As always I don't own anything except my original character and parts of the plot not original to Hansel and Gretel.
Please enjoy!
Crouching low I watched from my position in the trees as the witch hunters passed below me. It had been three weeks and they hadn't noticed me yet, or the witches I was sending their way to direct them towards my master's land. The smirk on my face falling to a frown as the male looked up and made eye contact with me. With no hesitation he aimed his gun and fired, causing me to jump to the ground, dodging bullets as I ran. A single thought crossed my mind as my feet pounded against the forest floor.
'My master is not going to be happy about this.'
Spotting a low hanging branch I moved to jump to grab it only to be pulled forcefully back to the ground by the woman. Growling I kicked her in the stomach before rolling over and jumping to my feet and taking off, feeling bullets wiz past my head, just as I moved to jump back into the trees an arrow tore through my ankle and I was pulled backwards until I was sitting in front of the hunters.
"Well, she's not a witch."
The male stated watching as I kept trying to get the arrow out of my ankle.
"Who are you?"
The female asked aggressively.
"I'm not telling a witch hunter anything."
The female smirked before kicking me in the head causing me to see stars for a second. Shaking my head I quickly weighed my options, either tell the hunters and maybe they won't kill me, or not to tell them and my life would most likely end right now.
"My master told me to trail you two."
I mumbled, causing the male to look at the female before looking back down at me.
"Who is your master?"
I flinched at his tone.
"He…He's a warlock, he was wanting me to lead you two into his lands."
"Why?"
The female interrupted me.
"You're a threat to him, for how many witches you have killed, and he wants you both dead."
I explained, unable to hide the bitterness in my voice that did not go unnoticed by the hunters.
"What's your name?"
I looked at the male with caution.
"Alice."
He nodded while kneeling down to untie and pull the arrow out of my ankle.
"I'm Hansel and that is Gretel."
I reached for my ankle inspecting the wound while nodding my thanks.
"Let's make a deal."
My eyes darkened at that.
"What kind of deal?"
He smirked.
"You lead us to your master, and."
"We won't kill you."
Gretel finished with a smirk.
"Ok."
I sighed, a feeling of dread in my stomach.
I hope everyone enjoyed the first chapter rewrite and I will see you in the next chapter
