The bus impacted the webbing as it stretched and slowed. Adrian smiled at a job well done. Ladybug disabled the bus as she slipped under it after he had propped up the wheels with his staff.

"Chat," Ladybug spoke up as he retrieved his staff. "You okay?"

"Yeah, look I need to get going is there an Akuma?" He asked as he moved to check his staff.

"You've been distant," she glanced at him,

"Sorry I just need some space, with everything that's happened recently I just need some space to get myself in order." He put a smile that hopefully didn't look as pained as he felt.

"Oh we are still friends right?" She asked concerned,

"Of course I mean this with no maliciousness it's me no you and we will always be friends I just need to come to terms with that. Pound it?" He offered his fist as the relief spread on her face. With that he took off.

He got home and was hardly surprised when his dad bailed on dinner. He finished his food and walked past Natalie with out a word. It stung but he sat down at the piano.

"Ugh this is so boring," Plagg finished off his meal. His phone went off as he glanced at the text from Nino. "Can we go?" He glanced over Adrian's shoulder.

"I mean it is ice cream," He set up his phone and transformed and headed out the window.

POV shift

"Yes," Nino fist pumped as he put his phone away.

"Good news?" Marinette glanced at him her heart swelled with hope.

"Yep says he's going to be late since oh," he paused,

"What?" Alya glanced, "Nino your such a bad influence." She gave him a playful slap.

"Dude, bailed on his piano practice so he's on foot." Nino gave a slight laugh as he showed off the photo of Adrian jumping the wall.

"I hope he doesn't get in trouble," Mylène held onto Ivan's arm.

"Considering his dad I am surprised he doesn't do it more often," Nino frowned at the thought of the man.

"Well then we should point him in André's direction." Alya quickly explained the ice cream and how difficult he is to find.

"Found him I'll sent the location to Adrian," Nino smiled, as he lead the charge.

"Hey!" She recognized the voice as Adrian rushed up to them only to take a second.

"Glad you could make it," Nino greeted him as the two hugged. He gave a hand shake to Ivan and a node at the girls.

"Well I had to jump out a window but you talked this ice cream up I figured it was worth it." He adjusted the scarf she had made and the detail he thought his dad gave it to him meant nothing.

"So why the change usually you can't make it," Alya asked,

"I got turned down and Dad was being my dad so I wanted to be around someone friendly faces."

"Wait you got turned down, you asked someone out?" Marinette shook of the fog the shock probably freeing her from her normal stutter.

"Poor dear," Mylène sympathized as Ivan rubbed the back of his head.

"I feel for you, risking your feelings and all." Ivan added in as well.

"Well is that interesting," Alya elbowed her which could mean a lot of things.

"Who would turn you down?" Nino chuckled nervously trying not to be to obvious.

"Well she didn't know it was me, but it probably wouldn't have worked out the more I think about it the hard to see dad approving anyone. I think Marinette is the only person who even got a shred of approval from him."

"Really?" She squealed out which he thankfully seemed oblivious to the situation or implications.

"That hat was amazing we should probably get moving," he reminded.

"Way a head of you." Alya grabbed Nino's arm and pulled him forward as she gave her a wink.

"So, what was the girl tike, I mean like?" She continued to look at everything besides him.

"She was sweet, kind, and really put people before herself. Honestly there isn't anyone like her. But she wasn't interested so I figured it would be best to move on." He shrugged,

"You handle rejection really well." She glanced away at the path they were walking. Ivan nodded his silent approval.

"Not really, it took a good teacher to point out a few things. I was never really told no by anyone but my dad so it was a learning experience." He admitted she really didn't know what to say this. "But back on this ice cream." She sighed a bit In relief even if she brought up the topic.

"Well, given that development." Alya winced

"Match making ice cream." He repeated as André sang his song.

"It's true, even my parents swear by it," she added as her excitement built at the idea.

"Agreed I think it's really romantic," Mylène agreed with her.

"Sounds fun," Adrian answered with a slight grimace she watched only half listening to the combinations.

"... Strawberry with black chocolate chip! Blackberries for her hair, and blueberry ice-cream just like her sky blue stare!," only to notice that Adrian gave a soft smile.

"If it was meant to be, its only a mater of time" he took the ice cream. She only half listened as she glanced down to see her ice cream. Peach and mint, she glanced at him then Adrian.

"Well what do you think?" He asked,

"I am so confused," she admitted,

"Love can be confusing but life without love is a lonely life indeed." However it tasted amazing. "I take it the ice cream reminds you of her?" She asked,

"Yeah the red and black is kind of her look." He glanced at her as she sat down. "It's hard to watch," he nodded at the two couples making eyes.

"I get the feeling you would be just as bad in a relationship." She surprised herself at the verbal jab.

"Probably when I fall in love I fall hard, and it's really cheesy." He admitted he winced a bit.

"You?" She was surprised how different he seemed outside of class. She took a second to give Tiki some of her ice cream.

"Well can't make the company look bad, I always have a bit of a mask in public," he admitted "sorry am I talking to much? What?" He looked confused as she turned only to get the feeling heads of her friends turning away.

"Must have saw Ladybug or something," she waved off as he glanced behind him a very cute confused look on his face. Then his phone went off,

"Of course, well I am in trouble. It's been been fun I'll try not to wait to long before my next trip."

Hardly the most romantic end to the day but she managed a conversation without tripping over her words. He waved before he took off only the sound of screaming to erupt. "Just what I need," she frowned,

"Alya wait up!" Nino took after his girlfriend who of course was headed towards the screaming.

Ivan and Mylène clung to each other as she slipped away. "That was tasty," Tiki smiled,

"Tiki spots on!" She took off to find the source of the screaming. She spotted Arachnid standing on a building scratching his head.

"Feel free to tag in anytime!" Chat shouted as he raced around being chased by an oversized toddler.

"I am good besides it looks like you got this under control." Arachnid paused as she landed next to him.

"I am struggling to figure out why I picked you," he nearly got plucked as he slipped between the baby's fingers.

"My charming personality and rugged good looks?" Arachnid offered as she just shook her head.

"Can we please take this seriously?" She scolded he took off and tried to web up the baby's feet however it was able to pull free only slowing it down.

"This might be harder than I thought," Arachnid admitted.

"Yuck," Arachnid frowned as flicked of some of the baby drool.

"If you can't handle this maybe avoid kids." She shook her head.

"I'll handle it cause it will be my kid," Arachnid dismissed. With her babysitting she was unfazed by it all.

"All this over a lollipop." Chat chuckled as he stood up his ring gave a beep. "See ya" he took off. Marinette could hear the beep as well.

"Did I say something?" She glanced at Arachnid,

"He just needs some space he's taking rejection like a man." He tapped his chest.

"He's just a flirt, he never meant anything by it, right?" She glanced at him.

"I got the impression he was genuine, it's like the one thing he is open to talking about. Other than that he," Arachnid paused, "you know I don't think he talks about anything else."

"I need to go," she motioned to her ear and he nodded. She blended into the city.

"Something wrong?" Tikki asked as she swooped around to look at her.

"It's nothing I just get the feeling I don't know much about Chat." She glanced at Tikki.

"I have yet to interact with him. But Plagg is a horrible flirt, and doesn't take his job seriously."

"So does Master Fu choose people if their similar?"

"Well," Tikki drew out "there really wasn't a set way, usually people were chosen after a character test. Which usually worked. So Chat Noir would have only been chosen if he had done something to help a person unprompted. Just like you." She reminded,

"I never thought about it, I always just figured he was a flirt and all that and wrote it all off."

"Well Mr. Parker and others before have wondered if the Kwami subtly influence our wielders. But since I don't know Plagg's weilder I can't really tell."

"Well let's go, it's getting late," she had a lot to mull over as Tikki flew into her purse.

"This is so dull, we should be doing something." Finn flew around.

"Finn Marinette is busy," she chided him,

"The Kwami of creation defending a lack of creating what world have I reawaken to." His flippers covered his eyes.

Finn was nothing but a drama king constantly wanting her to work on things and doing them better. It was like her the chunk of her personality was given voice and was no openly sassing her.

"Little kitty on a roof, All alone without his lady," sang a voice as both Kwami glanced around in confusion.

The source was from her balcony. She climbed only to pause. "Cause it was us," he stopped as he turned around. "Oh sorry I didn't I'll go," he stood up.

"I was just surprised, why are you here?" She asked,

"Sorry it's just the smells of the bakery attracted me. It reminds me of Ladybug I think she might be a baker." He admitted before he froze. "Forget I said that," he clamped his hands over his mouth.

"No problem," she forced a smile, "crap he is on my door step. And like two dots away from figuring out my identity." She thought, "so what song were you singing?" She asked as she walked up behind him and leaned against the railing.

"My mom use to sing it to me, when ever I was feeling down to cheer me up." He admitted,

"Oh," she glanced at him, "would you like a croissant?" She offered he instantly perked up.

"Please," it didn't take much to perk him up. She gave the two Kwami a look. She leaned up against the railing and handed him the goods.

"Thank you," he unzipped his costume and she turned away. "Here," she blinked as he held out some notes. Which gave her a slight view of his chest.

"It's on the house," she pushed his hand back.

"Put it towards your craft, make the world a bit prettier. Or I can just drop it." He shrugged,

"Why do you have cash anyway," she sighed and accepted it.

"Just in case my dad's a worrier." He zipped his suit up.

"Why am I not surprised you seem like the rebellious sort." She jabbed, only to be startled when he burst out laughing.

"Out of costume nobody would call me rebellious. Although maybe Chat Noir is Me and my public one is made up?" He glanced at her mischievous look in his eye. "What about you? How would you act if nobody knew who you where?"

"Me, I don't think I would change much, I am already pretty comfortable with myself." He didn't look convinced.

"That nice, your lucky I never really gave much thought as to who I wanted to be. After being a hero though I don't think I could be anything else." He stood up. "Here that Paris Chat Noir is here to stay even with out my miraculous." The city went relatively quite.

"You are so loud," she shook her head.

"Sorry," he apologized, as he turned and sat on the rail facing her.

"Your a handful you know that," she pointed her finger at his nose almost touching it.

"Yeah," he admitted "well I better get going. It was nice talking to you Marinette." He gave a deep bow, Good night Purincess," with a cat pun he was gone.

She glanced down, she wasn't sure how good his hearing was. He might know and was just unwilling to confront her. She headed in not sure what to think. However if she accused him it would all but give it away.

The next morning was the day her dad was going to teach in class. However when she got up,

"Looks like you have a gift dear," her mom pointed out a rose on the table. She nearly spat out her breakfast. A yellow rose with a note.

"Thanks I don't get to talk to people to much, very busy I would like to count you as a friend, don't worry yellow means friendship and joy I hope you have a lot of both. Sincerely Chatton P.s call me that if you ever want to talk"

"Of course," she shook her head he would leave one identity and get interested in the other. "Cats," she muttered, only for the bell to ring.

"Hello," Her mom greeted,

"This is going to be a bit of an ask," Chloe sounded strained, "I have a party coming and I would like some catering done."

She glanced around to see the front counter. "Is there an occasion?" Her mom asked,

"Just felt like it," Chloe muttered to herself. She looked like someone was twisting her arm.

Her mom went to business mode. She remembered she walked to school and needed to move.

She headed out, however even as she was ready to run. "Your going to be late!" Chloe snapped at her.

"I know and your going to make me later." She glared back only for the door to open.

"Get in," she ordered more annoyed than anything else. Marinette hesitated, "your going to make me late too." She shouted, and Marinette complied.

"So a party?" She asked,

"If you must know, yes why interested?" Chloe glanced away from her window and glared at her. Still as unfriendly as ever.

"I can just stay quiet it's not like I work there or anything." Marinette reminded as Chloe rolled her eyes.

"I invited my half sister from New York over okay,"

"You have a half sister?" She was surprised,

"Yes, and before you ask it was an issue with a surrogate. You don't think my mom would ever get pregnant would you. Now there was a hick up in the paperwork and mom ended up with another kid. Her dad takes care off her but Mom wasn't completely disinterested. So I invited her over I plan on inviting the class so here." She handed her an invitation.

"Why?" She asked,

"Zoe is lonely okay that's why," she waved her of,

"I meant why me?" She asked,

"If I was doing this for me, you wouldn't be invited. But i don't think Zoe would mind having a group of people to hang around. So she can make her own friends. So if she doesn't like you we won't see anymore then we already do. Now get," she did her under hand shop motion as she realized they were at school.

"I don't understand you at all." Marinette glanced at her, "I don't think we could ever be friends, but it's nice to know you have a heart under all that makeup."

"I really don't care what you think, and don't mention the ride it won't be happening again." She strutted off as Sabrina gave her a look.

All she could really do was shrug. That was the most pleasant exchange she ever had with Chloe, the warning bell went off.

The party was what everyone talked about the class was unsure Rose was already giving her the benefit of the doubt Kim was over the moon he still had a torch for her. Nathaniel was much more hesitant and Alya was in the middle having the least history.

"So Adrian do you know anything about Zoe?" Alya asked, as she played with the invitation in her hand.

"Not really Chloe never brought her up until she popped up at the party with the body switching Akuma. Sorry I can't be more help."

"That no big deal, what do you think?" Alya elbowed her.

"I never known her to do anything with out a hidden motive. However she knows a lot of class are not her biggest fans so I doubt she would invite us if she was planning something mean." She was weary however if there was some cruel intent she wanted to be there in-case.

The party was interesting she still took the time, to put some touches to a dress nothing to crazy but her own creative flare. A nice short dress with a primary white that slowly shifted to pink.

"We're did you get that?" Alya marveled,

"Just something I was working on." She admitted "a bit of dye work and some simple additions. Hardly on the level of some of my other work." She smiled incapable of taking the compliment.

"Thunk" she turned around to see Adrian as he nervously waved.

"Hi," she responded that sounded a bit off even to her before she turned red. One step forward two steps back. Alya shook her head,

"You missed the best part he actually was staring at you when he hit his head." Alya whispered as she could feel her face turn completely red.

Jean greater everyone and Zoe who looked a bit like Chloe with a softer more welcoming was already talking to Rose and Juleka and getting along Kim and Max were nodding along and Chloe was sitting of to the side with a drink.

She still bristled at the sight of her but it felt less hot. Then Adrian walked up to her, then it started to warm.

However before she could get to far, Zoe walked over and gave Chloe a massive hug. Said blonde just blinked in surprise before giving a half hearted pat on the back before glaring at the room as if threatening them all with silence on the mater. "Well you are part of the family it's the bare minimum. Don't make a big deal out of it." She broke the hug and whipped her head away as Zoe wiped away at her her eyes. She groaned as her jealousy and anger dissipated.

Adrian gave her a pat on the back as she gave him a look before returning to her ignoring everyone around her even Kim couldn't get a word out of her.

"Hey you up for a dance?" Adrian asked as she blinked completely caught of guard. Her heart had just jumped into her throat.

"Go girl," Alya pushed her forward as she practically feel but he seemed to expect her week knees.

"Oh Nino was looking for you," he said to Alya. "Looks like everything going well."

"You expecting trouble?"

"With Chloe kinda, it's nice to see that she's showing of that kinder side I am more familiar with." He admitted,

"Yeah but she is still Chloe," she frowned,

"True, but maybe she could use her powers for good." He chuckled as they continued to dance. "So did you make this?" He asked,

Chloe was completely forgotten she was on cloud nine. She took a pause in the music to get something to drink. "Sooo?" Alya glanced at her, she nearly spilled the punch she needed a bit of space to get the butterflies out of her head.

"What, nothing happened, I mean it's easier to not trip over my words as much," she added,

"Nino asked him to steal you so we could dance but I do t think he really needed to." She added as she glanced over to see Nino and Adrian acting like a goof, well as much as Adrian could goof off.

"He seems different," she took a drink,

"Like different than what you expected?" Alya glanced at her confused.

"No he's pretty much the same guy. It's just I guess I stare at him a lot so his posture seems different and I think he put some muscle." she pointed out as Alya glanced back between them.

"Huh you have an eye for detail." Alya realized only to get a look from Marinette. "Right designer." She smiled at that forgotten detail. "Nino as well he slouch's less you think they started working out together?"

She almost spit her drink at the idea of Adrian working out. "Doesn't he have rock wall in his room?" She pointed out.

"That looks like trouble." Alya looked away from the boys. Sabrina sat alone and looked particularly angry.

"We should do something I don't want," she set her drink down only to realize that only Ladybug could have gotten across the room fast enough.

"Nostala! All she be as it was!" She took cover as her finger pointed the music partially covered the announcement. Chloe got hit first,

"Ugh who are you, get away from me," she pushed Zoe away however the confusion was only added to.

"We need to stay calm don't trample," Adrian spoke up only to get tagged as the calm went to confusion as he ran with the crowd. "I need to find cover,". She couldn't watch this any longer. She closed the door behind her.

"Tikki spots on, of course she finally starts to be a decent person and she gets dragged backwards." She flipped up the yo-yo. She called Chat first no response, Arachnid no response. "Ugh," of course "fine," she dialed up Mr. Parker. "Come on,"

"Wa-," he sounded like just woke up. "If this is school related everyone gets extra homework."

"I can't get in contact with Chat, and Arachnid,"

"Of course, they were chasing after a lead tonight with those thugs. They are occupied and won't be available for a while."

"Why didn't you tell me?" She demanded,

"Loud, cause I didn't think they would find anything the boys wanted to pull their own weight. So I knew about the party and decided it wasn't worth troubling you. I'll back you up I'll see you soon." He hung up.

She closed it with a huff only for the door to be crashed into. She spotted a new figure with a red and white spider costume, with black hair and a frontal mask more than a domino less than a full one.

"What did Arachnid lend his miraculous when he went out with Chatton?" She asked,

"Um," she kinda stood there clearly not sure what to say. "Well, yes that's exactly what happened, he didn't tell me my identity but they wanted to be sure you had backup just in case." She smiled at her.

"Right," she squinted at the woman. "So you got a name red?" Only for her to suddenly wince and grab her head. She grabbed her and ducked her out of the way.

"Arachnette, no Spinette? Madam web? No Ghost Spider. Wait does Spinette sound good?" She asked her.

"Priorities just pick a name, your actions will determine if it's good." She avoided another blast only for ropes to suddenly shoot at her.

"Got it," Spinette shot some webs at the rope but they are discarded.

"Hand over your miraculous everything was better before they showed up!" She ranted as she looked like some kind of mummy wrapped up in old cloth and that explained what the ropes really were.

"Well then tell Hawkmoth to retire," Spinette returned only to get tagged, "that buzzing is so distracting." She touched her head as Marinette lassoed the girl and broke out the window. She yo-yoed her way up the hotel and grappled up.

She pulled out the dissolver "good think I remembered that list." She admitted,

"Your every bit the hero I thought you were." Spinette smiled as she broke free. She offered a hand and helped the new girl onto her feet.

"Adrikins," Chloe cooed as Adrian was escorted out of the building, "What is going on?"

"Where are? what is going on?" The two paused to watch as the party guests grappled with the sudden lose of memory.

"That would be so frustrating," Ladybug frowned as she tried to recall what Nostala looked like for some clue then a small detail the hat, the hat Chloe gave here was hanging off her with all the mummy like bandages.

"I think it's the hat dangling off her hip," she looked at her substitute partner.

"What makes you think that?"

"It's the only thing that doesn't look like it belongs in a museum." She reasoned out and Spinette nodded and didn't question her on it. The villain broke onto the roof.

"Lucky charm!" She called out, as the object dropped to her hands.

"A stapler? That seems bit odd," Spinette commented,

"Actually this one feels pretty straight forward," she admitted as she quickly figured what needed to be done. The rages snaked after them, "keep her occupied that buzzing means your in trouble so move if you feel it."

"Right," she agreed,

"Hold still!" Nostala demanded as she sent a torrent of cloth at them both.

She quickly started to staple anything that got to close. Her partner did the same webbing things into place hitting limbs as well. Between the two Nostala couldn't free her extensions fast enough. Then Spinette flipped and landed were she was headed, then she moved, it happened in slow motion. Before she could land she was hit but thankfully it was the cloth and not the beams as she hit the roof rolling then off the roof. She heard the panicked scream from her partner. She palmed her Yo-yo she had only a second to get to safety only only to feel her fall slip into a swing already.

She glanced around to see Mr. Parker in his black costume swinging her to safety. "Why did my partners run off, some how this your fault," she glared admittedly not fairly but she was out of her element and really wanted to tell at him.

"Bad time to find out the weakness of the spider sense." He frowned

"I am so sorry," Spinette panicked as she landed next to them.

"No harm done," she glared at the teacher, "you couldn't bother training this one?" She thought at him as the teacher remained silent.

"We may want to move." He reminded them with a node towards Nostala.

"We don't have time I am on the clock she reminded as she pointed at her ear.

"Use mend on her ear that should give her some time back."

"It does that?"

"Mend, oh wow your back up to full spots," Spinette blinked,

"Apparently, funny what you find out when you look into it." With that he took off.

"Is he always this?"

"Annoying, yes but the other adults in the know are cryptic and actively making my life difficult. So pick your poison." She leaped back into the fight.

"Why are adults so useless?" Spinette swung after her.

This time Spinette changed up her approach webbing around Nostala wrapping her up with both webs and her own cloth. She got to the hat and while she got swatted away she tore the hat and captured the butterfly.

She didn't have time to do anything less then a "pound it," before she slipped to a side ally with enough time to hide before she reverted to herself.

She rushed to the road, only to hear some crying. "Hello?" She glanced around only to see Zoe curled up against the wall tears streaming down her face.

"Zoe?" She recognized, the shook quickly turned to anger. "Everyone is back to normal."

"Normal? I honestly thought someone in my family cared and then she started yelling at me it's just like New York, I was, better of not coming. Nobody wants me around anyway." The whirlwind of emotions she was experiencing as she flopped back down looking at her shoes that had two things written on it.

"Look Chloe was like that," this hurt to say, "but even I have to admit she is trying. That Villain turned back the clock. I am sure she is worried about you." She really wanted to punch herself for defending Chloe.

"Zoe!" Chloe cried out as she shoved her out of the way.

"No good deed goes unpunished," she muttered as Chloe fussed over Zoe then realized Marinette was there.

"Well anyway we might want to finish the party or what ever." She dismissed with a sniff.

"That was so weird, you okay Marinette?" Asked a voice as she was picked up from under her arms.

"Adrian," she realized she had just fallen down in her dress, and was probably a sweaty mess. She pulled free to try and clean herself up and straighten her hair up.

"That was really nice of you I know you two don't get along."

"It was Zoe's sake not hers." She turned to watch the sisters rejoin the party. He put a hand on her shoulder. All frustration melted at the touch.

"I figured," he smiled so brightened up her world that she was sure if she didn't look away she would go blind.

"There you are," Alya waved at them then paused, "did I miss something?" She whispered to her as they walked out. She headed back only to see the teacher talking to Roger, with Nino looking around very worried.

"Mr. Parker," Adrian rushed over as Peter nodded at him and tapped at his phone before returning to the officer.

"Alya," Nino rushed over and practically scoped her into a hug. "Everything okay I feel so bad I completely forgot about you I am so sorry," he apologized.

"How much got temporarily forgotten." She wondered as Alya waved him off as she handed him something.

"Guys I need to go, dad wants me home." He said as she turned her attention to Adrian. She mentally groaned. "Sorry it was fun," he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "Ah, sorry just forget that happened," he turned red and took off.

"Marinette?" Alya got out before she nearly dropped only just caught by her two friends. "She is going to be unresponsive for the rest of the night."

"Adrian is never going to hear the end of this," Nino chuckled in a tone that promised no end of torment.

Exactly when she got home she wasn't sure got to her room or staring dreamily from her balcony.

"I am in so much trouble," panicked a familiar voice, and with that her feet were firmly back of the ground.

She slipped inside as she saw Chat Noir leap over head seemingly oblivious to her presence. She slipped into the bathroom and transformed as her phone rang.

"Ladybug I am so sorry," she could practically see his pleading face.

"It's fine, Parker told me what happened. I honestly can't believe he sent you off with Arachnid. I swear do you get any personal time?" She asked only to get silence.

"Right, I got an idea, I'll get a couple of burner phones so we can talk outside of costumes." He offered, "Sure but it's a bit late so we can meet up another day." She sighed more amused by his concern then anything else. Nothing could really be said or done that would ruin her mood tonight.

POV shift

Adrian hung up the phone that went better than expected. "What was I thinking," he frowned he impulse kissed Marinette on the cheek. Oh she was probably going to kill him. "Or worse," he sighed, as he called up Nino.

"Yes," Nino answered,

"I am sorry it was my fault," Alya defended,

"It's fine it's not my miraculous so I don't make the rules. I am just touching base you were with me I was in my spare costume and we were on a stake out. Costumes were off do to them sticking out. Also since Alya knows you might as well let her learn how to use Silkk in case something comes up. She was already on the short list anyway." Adrian explained,

"Oh why keep Ladybug from knowing? She seems trustworthy." Alya pointed out,

"Just the fewer people that know the better, give her the list and it's hard to get the cat back in the bag." He explained, as Alya giggle at the turn of phrase.

"Oh no," Nino realized what happened,

"Oh we are going to get along purfectly," he smiled as he was more turn up his puns.

"Don't encourage him," but Adrian could hear the amusement in his voice.

"Just making sure that if anything pops away off your safe. Anyway I got a few more cat calls to make so I'll talk to later." Alya tried to stifle her amusement.

He headed out as the cheer drained away. He called up Mr. Parker.

"Thanks for covering, however if you keep this up she's going to kill you." He felt bad that his teacher without asking took the hit when it was his own fault for getting tagged.

"Accidents happen, your like fifteen if you had a perfect hand on this you wouldn't be a kid."

"I let her down it feels like no mater what I do I screw up like I can't even be a decent partner anymore." He wanted to bang his head against a wall.

"We'll keep learning and improve, beating yourself doesn't get you anything, trust me." He chuckled, "Anything else or are we calling it a night?"

"If I provide the phones could you make them untraceable?" He felt bad asking for more from the guy.

"No problem at all, opening up communications a bit more?" He asked,

"That's the idea I have a few old phones probably best to link up with Nino." He plays with his chin.

"Sounds good to me. You know where to find me." The teacher hung up as Adrian glanced over at the hotel.

"Sounds like you had a clawful day," he waited until Chloe was alone.

"Where we you!" She rounded on him with her fiery temper.

"Sorry," for once he felt her anger justified. "I was out of the city for the evening."

"I don't want Zoe to get the wrong impression, she might move here." She glared at him, "So make sure you don't go running off to far next time." She jabbed him the chest.

"Well then I guess time to pull your own weight. Here." He handed her a phone plus the cap he pulled it over her head.

"I'll call if we need you, and make sure you practice. I'll talk to Stingg on occasion. I feel you earned this one, welcome to the team."

"So do I just listen to you?" She asked,

"Kinda, I guess it's more you're my responsibility. But I hope you will get along with everyone. I don't want to deal with arguments with Paris on the line." He let the subtle threat hang. "See you around." With that he headed home.

"This is weird," Marinette said as she heard Chat answer.

"Sorry in the middle of some exercise something up?"

"Just testing the phone why are you exercising?"

"The habit stuck, we tested out an idea that didn't seem to really work, but I find it helps keep me distracted. It's not like I can't watch tv while I do it." Chat explained,

"Why is something interesting going to be on?" She asked,

"I always keep the tv on just in case," he admitted,

"You take this a lot more seriously than I thought," she admitted as she wondered if she misjudged the guy.

"Oh I think a friend of mine is going to be in tv. I'll talk to later. Good bye."

"Goodbye ," she glanced at the phone as she turned it off. "So much for watching the news, wonder who is friend is." She glanced at Tikki who just shrugged her little limbs.

"Let's try to get through this day without something crazy happening."

She headed down to watch the set up. She stood next her mom she look nervous the most concerned with the idea, even if Marinette felt it would be good advertising that they didn't even have to pay for.

Her dad went from a nervous stiff to the point that he and Jagged too get along. She had already talked to Penny she had that look she half expected to see on herself when thinking of Adrian.

"Flour, eggs, and Butter," the two sang Alec being dragged into it as well. "This is the bakers rock and roll." Sang Jagged and her dad.

"Yo, Marinette! My favorite little lady, come over and rock out with us!" He encouraged, she took a step back only for mom to motioning her forward.

Jagged went on as she clinched to her own mental image as he gushed over her work. Thankfully Alec moved past it as her dad took back over.

"Um how about chocolate croissants? Marinette could you grab that bag of flour."

"You are dragging me on screen on purpose," she thought at her dad only to trip and Jagged got covered in flour.

"Hey, look! I look like a ghost! Rock and Boo-Hoo!" He laughed as they cut to commercials.

"Sorry Jagged," she apologized

"No, sweat Marinette," he smiled as her dad patted Alec on the back.

"Could you tell me where the bathroom room is?" Penny asked her she pointed her in the right direction.

POV brief shift

"Oh look another admirer." Plagg pointed out,

"She wants to be a designer," he blinked at his Kwami. Who blinked back green eyes met green eyes. The innocent bean went back to his tv as Plagg shook his head.

POV shift back

"No,no,no," she raced up to her room of all the places she could have

"Marinette?" Mom questioned

"Keep calm it will be alright," Tikki tried to calm,

"This is a disaster, I told everyone to watch this show at school, including Adrian. If he sees this he will know I am I love with him!"

"Isn't that what you wanted?" She offered,

"Not like this!" She burst into her door. "What are you doing here!"

"Sorry we couldn't find the bathroom, Penny apologized,

"I don't believe you should be filming here," her dad stepped past her, "the show is down stairs.

"Do you want me to sign this," Jagged asked only for her dad to round on him.

"Not the time, if you had any kids, you would know they like their privacy." Jagged looked ready to say something but everyone seemed to realize just how big her dad was. Alec, Jagged, the cameraman everyone headed downstairs.

"Thanks papa," he headed down,

"probably would have been a bit slower if I hadn't talked to Peter." He admitted as she blinked, "Just talking about kids," he admitted as they headed down.

"I mean it," they showed back up after everyone was good and scolded.

"I'll be a laughingstock at school, online, all over town! And worst of all, Adrien will never talk to me again! This is a disaster, a disaster, a disaster, a dis," she flopped onto her bed feeling miserable.

"Marinette breath," Tikki advised, only to be cut off her Chat phone went off. She glanced at it

CN: sensor went off will be out on patrol ready

"Oh no," her first thought was it was coming after her.

"Ghost!" Jagged shouted from under the floor. She realized that she might not be the one targeted. A small comfort.

She turned on the tv to see a punk terrorize the kitchen. "Penny I get the feeling she had had a rough day. Tikki spots on," she ordered,

POV shift

Adrian dropped down, "get some distance this is not safe." He looked at the camera as the bakery looked locked up. Well he doubted Troublemaker was going to let him pick the lock. First move was to pry it open only for the skull themed villain to faze out out.

"So you wanna play rescue? No one is being rescued today." She moved to grab him but only after she exited the wall. He was only slightly shocked when a web struck the poor woman.

"Gotcha," Arachnid whooped only for the thread to go limp.

"Try harder," she decked him in the face as he dented an abandoned van.

"Ah," he shrieked before landing on his feet next to ladybug and Arachnid. "That's what I get for letting my guard down."

"Right on time Chat Noir. You too Arachnid," she acknowledged Nino who was crouched down on the railing something Peter did in costume.

"This one might be tricky," he admitted "but I think she returned to inside the bakery."

"I already got Marinette safely out of the way." She brought up,

"How is she doing she looked upset," Nino looked at her,

"I wouldn't appreciate anyone being in my room either," Chat figured,

"She's fine," Ladybug had a very forced look to her face.

"Well she had," Arachnid started only to fall forward.

"Her passion for designing shown off?" Adrian finished as his two partners shared a look. "What she wants to be a designer why wouldn't she have pictures of a model in her room?"

"You," Arachnid started only for something to grab his leg and pull him down into Marinette's room.

"Chat!" they both shouted at the same time. He was pinned down as someone grabbed at his ring.

"I am not that easy," he planted both feet and kicked her off.

Arachnid made a dive only to stop as she retreated into a wall.

"This is frustrating what do we do wait til she picks us off one at a time?" Arachnid glanced back.

"I keep hearing a clicking, there has to be something I am missing." Adrian felt like he was just short of the answer.

"Well standing around just mean she can keep trying," Arachnid pointed,

"Oh crap!" Arachnid jumped out of the way he spun to find the source as needles went flying. He charged as what sounded like mattress being pulled up. Then suddenly being slapped down his staff hit a parasol. He was right about to land an attack when she vanished into a wall.

He suddenly saw a chest being tossed however Ladybug was on it the yo-yo passed threw troublemaker as she vanished into the floor.

"We need a plan, maybe go dark I have night vision?"

"Wait her power if we can't touch her she can't touch us, we need to bait her out." Ladybug realized as Arachnid nodded,

"That makes sense your amazing bug-," he stopped as he mentally caught himself.

"Come on," Ladybug lead the way down, they headed down back to back to back.

His phone suddenly went off.

S:need help? You guys seem to be taking your time.

"Dude," Nino glanced at him,

"It's nothing," he caught the sound of sudden movement. He avoided a punch as he ducked down as he quickly texted back.

CN:Not sure if we could fit another hero tight fit. Give us ten min then come in.

"Chat now is not the time!" Ladybug shouted only to knock troublemaker away as she had almost pinned Ladybug."Miraculous Ladybug!" She called on her lucky charm as a broken plate dropped to her hand.

"Well I got nothing," Arachnid blinked only to leap from the wall but he wasn't fast enough and was pulled out of the room.

"N, Arachnid," he moved to go help only for Ladybug to grab his wrist,

"We are the target," she reminded him, she grabbed onto some glue.

"Sorry buddy." He whispered

"I need you to go check on him," she suddenly encouraged as he realized the game plan.

"I coming buddy," he headed towards the room.

"Be quick I only have a plate to defend myself."

The worry more or less dissipated when the villain got stuck to Ladybug. "It's moments like these that really take the wind out of Hawkmoth's sails." Arachnid sighed as he shook his head. The wave hit the group "pound it." They all connected their fists as he headed off.

"All good," he texted when he got a text from Peter,

MM: I need you to swing by my cat's pad furball

"Well so much for heading home." He chuckled he would need to touch base with Chloe he could tell she wanted to help but he really wanted to keep her secret til an emergency, and to keep Nino away from her he wasn't sure if either could stop from antagonizing each other.

He knocked on a window, as Peter opened the front door. "That should be unlocked," he opened and dropped inside.

"So what was so important," he blinked as there was a Chat Noir suit only geared to the teeth. "Um,"

"Well it seems like something got incorporated and others didn't. While I can't boost up to your full abilities I think if something bad happens this will be extra protection. So even if this doesn't work with the miraculous I want you to still use this."

"This crazy," he, the suit had a half mask it covered his eyes with a green screen with a black helmet with cat ear like bumps to it. The suit primary black with green claw marks on the upper shoulder. It had claws on both hands and boots with grey coloring. It had a belt that hung kind like a tail. He could see what looked like a silver cylinder on the left hand the rest of the belt had pouches. It looked seem less the only separation was the helmet and the suit. It lacked a few things like the bell but he could live with out it.

"Want to try it on?" He asked as Adrian could only just contain his excitement. Peter tapped on the watch and suddenly the suit suddenly rushed off the manakin he took of the watch and tossed it to him.

"Oh," he caught the watch as he looked at it.

"Hello I am Scarlet you personal AI pleased to meet you Mr. Agreste." Said the watch,

"Adrian is fine," he said

"If you say so," the face on the watch which was a green set of eye mouth winked at him.

"You did this on purpose," he glared at Peter, who shrugged his shoulders.

"Claws out," he said as the suit suddenly raced over his skin he realized he had a full cowl on. He gave the suit a light tap it just felt like his normal outfit. "It doesn't feel that durable it seems very flexible."

"Brace yourself," Peter warned as he walked closer and swung a jab at his chest. The hit landed but instead of soft material it impact sounded like it hit some kind of armor.

"It's a form of unstable molecules, it will react to impacts. It can hold up against low caliber bullet but you will be feeling it so try not to get shot, hence why my fighting lessons lean on not taking a punch and how to take one with out being hurt." He explained.

"This is so cool, so I even get a staff?" He pulled out the weapon but he noticed Peter had a calm smile.

He flicked it out and it looked like his staff just limited. Then suddenly the end crackled with green energy. He nearly dropped it, Peter grabbed it separated the staff into two and both ends cracked with green electricity.

"Oh," he looked at it,

"All non lethal, of course feel free to rename Scarlet if you want to and she can talk you through the extra stuff."

"Thanks," he looked over the suit,

"I have a few fail safe thing however they are turned off. Tell scarlet it's an emergency and it will activate a few things a tracking system being the big one. Talk to Scarlet I won't know anything unless you let her send information my way. I know everyone deserves their privacy, unless your vitals drops off a cliff or something along those lines the ball is in your court."

"Good to know." He glanced at the gloves as he retracted the claws. "There has to be something I can do to pay you back." He looked Peter dead in the eye.

"One I didn't pay for this, so unless you want to owe a thief a favor don't and two if you want to do something to repay me. Don't get hurt come home safe and sound. That's what all of this is for to keep you safe." He felt both hands on his shoulders as he felt his body well up.

"No, no problem," he pushed it down,

"Now then let's let Plagg come out to play and let's see what he makes his own.

"About time all this was getting to sappy for me," he sniffed only for Peter to pat him on the head. "Don't patronize me, I could destroy you," he threatened,

"And I will always know if you mean it or not ," Peter sat down.

"Plagg Claws out!" He transformed as the new suit was overtaken by the classic Chat Noir look. However nothing seemed to change. He flicked out the staff and it charged but it looked less like electricity and more like his cataclysm.

"Ah," Peter seemed to realize something. "Toss me the staff," a second later it was in his hand however nothing happened he couldn't seem to get the staff to do anything. "I wondered why the translations said the Cat and Bug were the most powerful but seemed to struggle against the Butterfly."

"What?" Adrian had his staff,

"How did you activate the staff? There are no buttons, there is no current no way to indicate how." He pointed out.

Adrian stopped as his mind tried to catch up, "Your ability is distraction, but don't look at the idea as black and white think of it beyond simple explosions. " he snapped a webbing, "destroy the webbing's properties." He instructed.

"You sure this will work," Adrian paused,

"Believe in the me that believes in you." He said in English Adrian hesitated the willed the properties destroyed and then the webbing went slack.

"Oh shit," he clamped his hands over his mouth. "What does this mean what can I do?" He asked as he only then noticed a glint in the man's eye.

"It means that that book isn't complete there are things that could make the Cat and Bug the most powerful, I think maybe you might be able to make your suit untouchable, if you can you might be able to create a field that would snuff out any butterflies around you. So long as you could keep it up you could be the only person in Paris who can feel negative emotions with no concerns. Theoretically of course and only in the suit. I wonder." He went silent as Adrian looked at the webbing he had never considered the possibilities.

"So if I can destroy things like this what else can I do?"

"I want to test something, Burry eyes open," he transformed into the familiar out fit. Break the connection between me and the miraculous." He ordered.

Adrian concentrated and then he was looking at Peter with his regular clothes. "That was unpleasant," Burry got out before suddenly vanishing into the belt. Peter touched the belt as Blurry spiraled back out. "Very unpleasant,"

"That actually hurt a bit," Peter admitted "but I am guessing that it just takes a touch to re connect, I wonder if a permanent severing is possible."

"Yeah wouldn't Tikki be able to recreate a connection?" Adrian asked,

"That would make sense maybe that would be the only Plagg couldn't do since Tikki would just create maybe?" Peter frowned in thought. "Well unless worst case happens it doesn't mater. But keep this in mind when you get with in swing distance of Hawk moth even if he escapes you will know his identity and that's the hard part."

He looked at his phone, "So if my limits are what I can think with what does that mean?"

"I can only show you the paths before where you go is up to you. You might want to get moving don't want to be late." He tapped at his wrist as Adrian looked at his watch.

"Crap," he took off he had places to be. He stepped out only to stop to see Miss Hardy.

"Here," she tossed him a small pack. "I want to see if that incorporates with suit. He opened it up to see a lock picking set. She was already in the room with Parker the door closed.

POV shift

Pp: need to give you something

"Of course," she headed up to see a box

Pp: new toys you want details met me up at Falicia's place

A location popped up, "Just what is this crazy American up to this time?" She figured he found another Miraculous. "Come on Tiki let's go."

She dropped down on the roof and headed via a balcony. "Don't you think that Reed might say something using some of his technology?" Falicia said,

"He's more than welcome to take me to court." Parker dismissed,

"I can't get over this, I always knew you were smart but these suits, you could give a super soldier a run for their money."

"I should have had these built a lot sooner."

"It wouldn't have," she started,

"We don't know even if it was seconds it could have made all the difference. I'll be damned if we don't give them every luxury." He talked over her with a stern but not harsh tone. "Do leave the boy alone the poor kid doesn't need you getting him into more trouble. Don't think I didn't notice."

"Oh come on it would confirm your theory," she said a sing song voice.

"Ahem," she cleared her throat is she walked in,

"Really stick in the mud this one." Falicia eyed her no longer the friendly teacher but a critic.

"Lay off teenage girls have enough issues." he glanced at her, "Okay so not really sure what I can add, to your suit however this is going to be good second... that is pretty much everyone.

"Pleased to meet you my name is Jarvis, feel free to rename me as you desire," the watch went.

"Thanks," she felt kind of bad for suspecting him over all she had been a bit hard on him.

"No problem, just stay safe," Peter smiled, "now then anything breaks or anything let me know."

She took off and glanced at the watch she hadn't messed with the suit. She wasn't to interested it felt another layer of protection but I was also another link to her identity. She shut it down and put it in her purse where Tikki usually resided, probably for the best not to go running around with it.

The next day she was a bit surprised to see Adrian laying on his desk. "You okay?" She asked tempted to poke him.

"Huh?" He shot up as he looked tired, "sorry just long night weird dream last night." He apologized as he relaxed.

"Oh," she really didn't have answer she had plenty of scenarios in her mind this was not one of them. "Do you need to go to the nurse's office?"

"Hmm," they nearly jumped as Peter poked his head in. "Nurse, you look rough, late night studying?" She stepped back as Peter knelt down to eye level.

"It's fine , just rough dreams," he dismissed, "I am fine." Peter glanced at her and they both came to the same conclusion he wasn't telling them everything.

"Okay but if you need to talk you know where to find me."

She shot him a look but class started up and she really couldn't add to it. Even the idea of joining him in his fencing classes really distracted her. Well for the most part.

She nearly dropped the helmets thankfully her reflexes had improved and each one was caught. "You got this Marinette." Tikki supported,

POV shift.

"Something wrong Spider?"

"Yes, I finally managed to translate that book."

"Well that's a good thing."

"Kinda I took him and Chloe to see strange and they both saw things. However something Adrian mention popped up, he was worried about not being human. I think his memories have faded since he hasn't mentioned it since. But one of the Miraculous mentioned a Sentimonster. If I am right that means he has two, but we know they fuse so why not use it?"

"Broken in some way or maybe dangerous side effects." Felicia figured as he nodded,

"Both are possible they intentionally leave details vague, and there are ways to repair them. A lot of these things are vague a tear of happiness? Magic," he frowned in annoyance.

POV Shift

"Seems like your looking for someone?" Adrian snuck up on Marinette,

"Yeah, I thought Adrien was here. You know, a boy this tall," she motioned to about his height, "Blonde, Nice,"

"Hold up," he interrupted as he took off his face mask. "Didn't know you were interested in fencing."

"Adrian, Nice to fencing," she paused, "Kinda I wanted to try it out see if it's a good fit." She admitted,

"Well good place to start," he admitted as Armand ordered them into position. He worked with Marinette she had good reflexes and was really quick study. He was sure she would make a good hero even if Alya would be next.

He explained the dinner points on how the point system worked when a new figure in red walked in.

"Hey, you! Are you Mr. D'Argencourt, the fencing master? I wanna join your team." That paused the class.

"Only the best are admitted here, you knave," Armand boasted as Adrian playfully rolled his eyes the man had his pride but he took on people of all skill if they showed promise.

"And I was everywhere I went." She boasted the voice sounded familiar like

"There is always someone better," Adrian whispered however if she was as good as she claimed it ignited his competitive spirit.

"Which one of you is the best combatant?!" She stepped forward as he relaxed Armand was the best technically.

"Adrien, please give our visitor a lesson in chivalry." Armand pointed at him.

"I shall master," he slipped the helmet everything was set up as they faced off.

"Prêt... allez!" He announced

The rapiers clashed she was easily the toughest peer he had ever met in the ring he felt the hit just as he connected.

"Simultané! Par un toucher!"

He walked back to his starting position as he felt a fire erupted inside of him. He was training to be a hero he was putting more into himself then ever he was not going to loose.

The next time he redoubled himself but so did his opponent he continued to grit only for the buzzer to go off in unison.

"Uhh... Abstention!" Armand judged as Adrian rolled his shoulder and bounced on his heels.

"Wait. I request that we do it the old-fashioned way. We'll be much more at ease without the machine." She insisted before anyone could ask he had taken the plug off.

"En garde... Prêt... allez!" He shot forward as she fell back he was pushed back as they both left the mat and continued to push each other as the rapid series of strikes and deflections.

They fought up the stairs as she nearly pinned him against the railing but he was hardly that unaware of his surroundings. The two never paused outside of small readjustments to keep going. Even as the two continued to dance he had never met someone so close to his own skill and if he hadn't redoubled and training and superhero work she would have been his better.

"Let's finish this off!" She announced, the final push and he felt the tip but only a few seconds after he tagged her.

"Who won?" Armand,

"Um, Adrian," Marinette answered however Adrian felt something he wasn't sure but he could feel the change in the air and he was confident that this was bad. He got to caught up in sport,

"That was fun we need to do that again," he urged as he shook hands. No response wrong thing to say?

They walked off as he ignored everything as she stabbed her saber into the ground. "That was the best match I have ever had I want another match so I can improve!" He blurted out,

She took off her helmet showing short black hair and a stern face. He recognized her from the hotel incident. "What's the point in my family there are no second chances." She shot a look at him and she shut the door.

He spotted his car still no sign of an Akuma he got into the back of the limo "fallow that car!" He quickly scanned over his phone to track down any information that might help. Only to recognize the family line. Then the car got caught in half he grabbed the sword he had taken with me as the villianized fencer stood before him.

I am taking you up on that offer of a rematch," the silver clad warrior stared him down.

"Okay cheater, Scarlet partial transformation." He ordered as the fake suit spread under his fencing uniform.

The two blades clashed in the middle of the road. "Where you holding back?" She glared at him,

"Nope I am cheating right now," only for a Riposte's blade.

"Don't mind if I cut in do you?" She asked, as Ladybug pulled her away. That moment distracted him and pain.

She kicked hard into his ankle as he fell to the ground in pain. Thankfully it felt injured not broken. He watched as Riposte tried to skewer ladybug as he tried to get moving. He settled for tossing Ladybug the sword.

"Are you hurt?" Ladybug asked, as she put herself between him and Kagami.

"I am good, we need to stop meeting like this." He smiled through the pain, "wait no flirting, wait Adrian doesn't know that crap what do I do,"

"I need to get you out of here," she held him close and swung off.

"Get back here!" Riposte shout as as Ladybug picked him up bridal style.

"Ah," he grabbed around her neck as Ladybug raced along the roof top. He glanced back to see Riposte catch up,

"I am slowing her down." He realized as he moved to break free only to be held firm. The blade was brought back as only to be caught of guard as she jumped the blade connected with chimney and stuck firm.

"Where are you Chat?" She asked as she kept moving to find some place to hide.

"It's a big city and this just started," Adrian reminded as he really wished he could run on his own.

He got a soft smile and he was doing everything in his power to not act on it he was told no and damn it why?

"He is mine!" Shouted Reposte broke free of the chimney.

"Got your back Bug!" Arachnid swung it knocking Riposte away.

"Perfect," she smiled confidently as she swung towards the museum.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked as he looked at the sarcophagus.

"Something wrong?" She asked well how could she know.

"It's," he took a deep breath, "okay," he did his best not to panic

"I am sorry but at least you'll be safe." She looked apologetic.

"Please be careful," he urged as she took off.

POV shift

"Swords suck," Nino sighed as he chased after Reposte into the museum any attempt to slow her down was cut away.

"Where is Adrian!" She shouted at Ladybug with a red Rapier.

"Safe," she answered, Nino sighed in relief as Riposte took a swing at her.

"Your fights between us," as the usual threats were shared.

She targeted ladybug however Nino was hell bent n immobilizing this one Adrian in danger definitely brought his full focus.

"I'll have you for this," Riposte's frustration went full force after the third time she had freed herself.

"Catch me if you can," he responded.

"Chat Noir!" Riposte noticed as Chat dropped down,

"A fencing tournament at the Louvre? How come I wasn't invited?"

Ladybug ducked a thrust as the saber hit a painting. "Late again, get stuck at the groomers again?"

"Some girl was smothering me from one extreme to another." He joked as Ladybug paused. Nino hit both webs on Riposte and yanked her back she hung for a second before she freed herself.

"That's nice," she glanced at him,

"Nothing serious just a friend," Chat pointed out.

"Just a friend," Nino groaned internally at the phrase. "Wait," he thought only for his extended vision to warn him of the incoming blade.

"Lucky charm!" Ladybug announced as a radiator dropped to her hands. She scanned the room,

"I need some webbing!" She told him, and he quickly provided as Chat was tagged in, he spared a glance as he realized Chat was holding his own in their little fencing match.

Ladybug paused after she was ready. "Any time would be great guys." He pleaded only to get kicked in the leg. "Ah," he hissed in in pain.

"Gotcha," Riposte posed to stab him only to be intercepted by the radiator.

"Welcome to my parlor," Nino smiled under the mask as Ladybug snapped the sword.

"Pound it!" Nino and Ladybug paused to realize Chat was missing.

"What happened, wait the butterfly, I should have known," she sighed,

"I need to go find someone," Ladybug retreated,

"Hey I saw you fencing you were amazing, I know Adrian it's rare to see him that interested even if you don't get in he would make a perfect sparing partner."

POV shift

"Adrian?" She called as she rushed back

"Hi, sorry I don't like being locked up." He apologized

"Probably for the best," Marinette was unsure what to do next.

"Did Chat Noir show up?"

"Yeah big city," she echoed, "I," the ear rings beeped,

"You better get going," he gave a kind almost sad smile. "Thank you," he said to her back.

Something felt off like she was missing something. She reverted back to herself. She ducked outside as the all clear was given.

She saw The girl from before " I'm at the Louvre. Come when you can." She hung up her phone.

"Excuse me," Adrian approached her,

"Oh," she gasped, "listen I,"

"Not the first time I got chased across Paris." He joked

"You won that match fairly," she looked away. "I shouldn't have gotten upset."

"You can learn more from failure than success. Or so my master says."

"Armand?"

"My tutor actually sorry Adrian," he introduced.

"Kagami," she answered,

"Armand would love to have you, but the choice is yours." He held up the red rapier.

"I lost you keep it," she pushed it away

"Anything worth having is worth fighting for." He insisted, she slowly took it.

"I don't plan on loading next time." She gave him a smirk,

"Wouldn't have it any other way,"

"I feel like I missed something," she glanced at Tikki

"Sorry Marinette but he has a life we only get to see parts of it."

"I-," she paused, how much did she really know about him.

AN: Sorry day late but I wasn't sure if I edited this properly between checking my work and writing new chapters its kinda making it hard to keep track of what is actually happening, Next up is a nice little two part-er think of it like a season finale. I am currently finishing up chapter 13 but after chapter 11 I am going to go on a break to get some extra chapters written out as a bit of a buffer.
