Alright boys, chapter forty-six is here, hopefully a whole lot quicker than the last one. Made a promise I would stop waiting a month between each chapter, so hopefully I keep it (Spoiler: I didn't). Response to last chapter was great, glad y'all liked it so much. Was definitely one of my favorite fights so far, let's see if Zane vs. Luke can top it. Anyway, before we begin, let's get into some reviews.
Mr. Reader: "Okay, a lot to unpack in this chapter.
Hyperion and Zane rematch. Zane destroyed Goku knows how many universes. Oh, and he just spawned in front of Percy, man must have been flabbergasted. 10/10
Side-Note - Dude, have you ever thought about writing your own story? Like you have the writing-skills and could totally implement the concept of aura into your power system.
Can't wait for the next chapter."
Response: Thanks for the review, man. Yes, Zane destroyed literally hundreds of realities and you'll see just how strong he is after I post the VsBattles profile for Zane in this arc. And yes, I want to write my own story one day, just need to save up enough money to send it to a publisher because self-publishing usually doesn't work. Anyway, enjoy this chapter, man.
Echoxenvy: "Man this was mind blowing. The fight took up nearly the entire chapter, as it should. I also really liked the first part, and how Zane and Percy confront old enemies. It really shows how far they've come and how powerful they've gotten. Scenes like that, and callbacks are awesome.
Now the Hyperion fight was great, definitely one of the best now. It was really destructive, probably the most so in the story, and it really shows just how much damage these characters can cause, and would cause in a fight. Glad you showed that in detail and didn't shy away from it.
Yeah man, awesome stuff. This was great, and I seriously don't even know how Zane vs Luke can top it."
Response: Yeah man, I put my all into the fight of last chapter, was something else in terms of sheer cosmic destructiveness. Still doesn't top Matt, Old Man Matt and Zane vs Ouranos and Luke, or Matt vs Zane. Easily a top five, though. And I'm glad you liked the callbacks, the chapter was full of them and this is no different. And don't worry, Luke vs Zane will absolutely top it. I promise you that.
FabulousOutlaw58: "Dude this chapter was like a mindtrip. Completely blown away by the fight between Zane and Hyperion. This really feels like a war, just like Rick wrote it, if the character was even more OP than curse Percy. Zane destroying his old enemies was golden, and man you've never described his destructive capabilities this well. Basically took a chunk out of the universe, that's crazy. I love it. I still think Zane vs Prometheus is the best, because of how personal and gritty it is, but this is definitely up there, and definitely the top in terms of power and scale. Love it. Also was NOT expecting that ending. I dont' want to spoil, but I really thought you know who was dead, and Zane's face scene...wow, that was intense. Didn't expect your gore scenes to come back, but it's the war arc, so it really should be present the most in this one. Can't wait for more, please update soon!"
Response: Thanks for the review, man. And I'm glad you liked the fight. I really put my awe into it, wanted to showcase just how powerful they are outside of statements and give them more legitimate feats. I'm glad you like the callbacks and still think Zane vs Prometheus is the best, which I agree it's the best in the main story. And hell yes, gore is coming back full force in this arc, as you'll see a LOT of later on. Sorry this took so long, had a few rough times but it's here. Hope you enjoy it.
Merrik69: "What a chapter. Some good callbacks, character moments, and ofc a mind bending fight. It was the best out of the Zane vs Hyperion trilogy, and technically, it's not over yet. Don't want to spoil, but wow, that's a brutal injury Zane took. Hope we can expect the usual violence that this fic brings, especially in the "war arc."
Personally, I think all the little Zaylor moments are leading to a big moment between them. Perhaps the first time? You mentioned that there would be more lemons, and it's about time for one with Taylor.
Loved the chapter, but if I had to complain about something, it's excluding Percy on the Hyperion fight. Judging by the ending of the chapter, it could still happen, so I may be wrong. If Percy is considerably stronger and faster than Zane in Thunder Form, then that at least puts him in between its power and HTF's power. That could've helped greatly in the fight. I get Zane wants to keep him safe, but the best chance at quickly killing Hyperion is to team up, so I just was curious. How much stronger is HTF Zane than Curse Percy? If there even is a gap at all? Is your Percy stronger than Current Matt with Master Bolt Red Aura? Is Zane stronger than Master Bolt Red Aura?"
Response: Thanks for the review, man. I'm glad you and everyone liked the fight, was definitely one of my favorites to ever write. I like how you like how the violence is returning, as I said above. All the Zaylor moments are leading to something, as you'll see very, very soon. I'll answer your questions on the power scale at the end of the chapter, as it contains spoilers for the beginning lol. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter.
SaUvE ViPeR: "Incredible! What a mindblowing fight!
I hope Percy can get in on the action, because we really haven't seen exactly what his curse can do just yet now have we?
So epic! Can't wait for more!"
Response: Thanks for the review bro, glad you like the fight. And don't worry, in this chapter and beyond you will see a LOT of Percy in fights. Anyway, here's the chapter and sorry it took so long.
Zutama: "Damn good shit bro.
I'm pretty speechless right now, that fight was insane"
Response: Thanks lol, put my all into it.
Alright, enough with reviews. Let's blow this pop-stand.
(DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything portrayed here (Except the OCs). If the fact that this is on a Fanfiction site didn't tip you off, you're fucking retarded.)
(LEMON WARNING IN THIS CHAPTER. BUCKLE IN, BOYOS.)
(000)
Hyperion, the Titan of Heavenly Light, stood above me, his golden aura coated spear primed for my forehead. I was completely screwed. I was out of stamina, so Heavenly Thunder Form was completely out, not like it would help considering how injured I currently was. My jaw was hanging off my skull, hanging on by only the right side, curtsy of Hyperion's spear from out of nowhere.
But back to the situation at hand. How in the ever living fuck was Hyperion still alive? I hit him with enough force to kill my father at his full power, the blast having been powered with hundreds of Heavenly Thunder Form equivalents. Yet here was Hyperion, just as injured as he had been before I shot the blast. Did he avoid it somehow? These thoughts were barely coherent even in my own head, as the whole 'burning from the inside' thing was happening where half of my jaw used to be.
Hyperion noticed my complete confusion, before chuckling slightly. "Wondering as to how I'm still alive, Williams? Well, considering you're about to die and there's nothing anyone in the universe can do about it, I'll tell you." Hyperion then smirked once more, his handsome face still covered in cuts and dripping with ichor. "My dimension is something I can create on the fly, even after it's been dispelled or destroyed."
My eyes widened at the words. He must have entered his dimension before the blast had hit him, escaping it entirely. That was…completely bullshit, like Luke being able to stop time bullshit. Hyperion laughed again. "I see you understand my meaning. Yes, I avoided your blast by entering my personal reality before it hit. Just in time, too. I doubt there's a being in this reality who could have survived that attack."
Hyperion had let his spear down during the explanation, leaving him open. I grabbed the hanging half of my jaw, before quickly bringing back to it's rightful place on my face. I pumped aura and energy through my jaw, speeding up the healing process immediately. My jaw had been healing while Hyperion yammered, but it full reconnected to the side of my face, leaving only a massive blood splatter on the side of my face.
I grabbed Thymos, ready to push myself into Heavenly Thunder Form once more, no matter the drawbacks on my body. But before I could even flare the weapon's aura, an insurmountable force slammed into my torso, instantly sending me skidding through the ground, creating massive mini craters as I travelled through. Thymos flew from my hand, completely out of sight. Blood erupted from my mouth from the force and all of the wind was knocked from my lungs, killing my opposition.
I groaned from the destroyed earth, almost completely unable to move. Hyperion had struck quicker than I could even perceive, as my base form could only move a few thousand times faster than light. Hyperion's strike had slammed right into my armored torso, creating enough force to shatter my spine into pieces. My entire vertebrae felt like a bunch of gravel.
Hyperion appeared above me, slamming his massive golden boot on my chest. My sternum instantly shattered, now feeling very much like my spine. More blood and globs of spittle erupted from my mouth, sending me into a coughing frenzy. My armor was untouched, as normal, but it didn't stop some of the force from traveling through and hitting my body. Without it, I'd already be a paste of blood and gore on the ground.
Hyperion laughed as he stood on top of my broken and shattered form. "Despite being beaten, you still continue to try and resist! HAHAHAHA! No wonder my lord hates you so much." He reached down faster than I could blink, grabbing me by the neck and hoisting my shattered form in the air. "I, however, love it. Keep fighting me, keep resisting! It'll only make it all the more satisfying when I finish you off."
I could feel my shattered spine and sternum knit themselves back together, but Hyperion had broken them so thoroughly that it would take minutes to reverse the damage completely, minutes I didn't have. Not to mention the lack of stamina was making the healing slower. I was essentially a complete sitting duck for an amount of time Hyperion could kill me infinitely in.
Hyperion seemed to notice this, and his handsome face soured. "All tuckered out, son of Zeus? No more grand power ups? No more momentous blasts? No more cheesy one liners? Hm." Hyperion threw me to the ground harshly, creating another crater in the already crater filled ground. "Disappointing. Perhaps, if you were a god, you'd have the constitution and stamina to keep up with me. You as you are are no more than a broken demigod who's bitten off more than he could chew."
Hyperion stood over me again, his spear primed for my neck. I glared at the battle-damaged Titan, blood running from my mouth. "If I were a god, Hyperion, you wouldn't have lasted ten seconds against me." Hyperion's sour face only turned more so, causing me to smirk. "And this so called 'broken demigod' completely destroyed you. I didn't even have a visible wound when the fight was over."
Hyperion's face had twisted into a dark glare. "Well, you're about to have one now. Goodbye, Zane Williams." As soon as the words left his mouth, Hyperion was hit in the face by a blast of sea-green energy. The blast did nothing to hurt him, however I could see it served as a distraction. Before I could even blink, I was thirty feet away from the Titan, being carried by blue, fluorescent rocky arms.
Percy. The son of Poseidon held me like a sack of potatoes, my weight absolutely nothing to him. He put me on the ground, almost gingerly as to not hurt me. "Are you alright, Zane?" Percy was already in his Earthshaker form, his power far greater than my own Thunder Form, easily by five times. His sea-green aura was blazing around him, symbolizing his power.
I glared at the son of Poseidon. "I told you not to interfere, Percy. I said I'd handle him alone." I didn't want Percy to die, and I knew he stood absolutely no chance against Hyperion, despite having the Curse of Achillies. The Titan was simply too powerful.
Percy just smirked at me. "Yeah, I know. I just decided to ignore you and save your life." He handed me a piece of ambrosia. "Eat this and stand back. Hyperion's mine now." I didn't say anything and simply downed the divine food of the gods, feeling my shattered spine and sternum instantly reform, as well as refueling my stamina completely. I stood up from the ground, calling Prometheus' sword to me via telekinesis. Thymos was behind Hyperion, and I doubt he would just let it come back to me.
I dropped into a fighting stance, duel wielding Prometheus' sword and Keravnos. "Alright, fine. We take him together." I was about charge Hyperion, despite being much weaker than the Titan currently, however Percy put a strong hand on my shoulder. I looked back at him, confused. "What?"
Percy shook his head. "I'll take Hyperion alone, now. Go make sure the others are safe." What the hell was he thinking? I knew he was stronger than me now, but Hyperion was in another league. If he fought the Titan by himself, he'd get massacred, Curse or no Curse.
I shook my own head, much more vehemently than Percy had. "No! Percy, you can't be serious! Hyperion was equal to my in Heavenly Thunder Form and even though he's injured, he's still leagues beyond both me currently and you! We have to team up and get Thymos somehow! It's the only way we'll win!"
Percy simply sighed. "Zane, if you try and fight him now, he's just going to kill you immediately. He knows how dangerous you are with Thymos, and he won't let you even touch it now. I'm the only one who has a chance now, now go to the others." I looked at him like he was crazy and he smirked. "Trust me, Zane. I have something up my sleeve. Something a little extra the Styx gave me."
I battled with myself in my head, my pride and worry unwilling to let me let Percy throw his life away to save mine. I looked over at Hyperion, who was simply standing with his golden spear in his hand, as if waiting for our move. He could effortlessly kill me, and he'd eventually find a way to kill Percy, too. But Percy was confident, more confident than I'd ever seen him face off against a foe. What did he have up his sleeve?
Eventually, I sighed. "Fine. You can fight him alone, but the second I can grab Thymos without Hyperion being there to stop me, I'm jumping in, understand?" Percy nodded, taking the cap off of Riptide, immediately coating the blade in his sea-green aura. Percy started to walk forwards, facing down the Titan of Heavenly Light. "Percy." The son of Poseidon turned his head back to me, his eyebrow raised. "Don't die."
Percy smirked at my words. "Don't worry, Zane. Even if I do die, it didn't stop me back then and it won't stop me now." With that, Percy blurred from my sight and the next thing I knew, I was nearly sent to my knees from the force of a shockwave. I followed the source, finding Percy and Hyperion clashing weapons. Percy was struggling with all his might, yet Hyperion was seemingly putting in no effort holding the son of Poseidon back.
The two were dozens of meters away from me, so I had to use my enhanced sight and hearing to continue to view the battle. Hyperion smirked at Percy's effort. "Ah, Perseus Jackson. The former Child of the Prophecy. How does it feel to be demoted to number two by your immensely more powerful cousin?" Before Percy could even answer, Hyperion's aura flared, instantly breaking Percy's guard and leaving him open.
Hyperion brought his spear back quicker than either more or Percy could even blink. "I guess we'll never know." Hyperion coated his spear in his fiery golden aura, before slamming it directly into Percy's unprotected neck. Instead of piercing through Percy's throat and immediately killing him, the weapon simply blasted Percy back, sending him ripping and sprawling through the destroyed ground. Hyperion's golden eyes widened. "What the…?"
Percy immediately stood up, completely unharmed by the attack in the slightest. The place where he had been struck shined a bright golden color, the same color his skin had briefly become when he exited the Styx. Percy smirked at Hyperion's confusion. "Thanks for the boost." Boost? What the hell was Percy talking about?
Before I could even have another thought be processed by my brain, Percy's sea-green aura erupted around him, far stronger than it ever had been before. My eyes widened, as did Hyperion's. What the fuck!? Percy was ten, no, one hundred times stronger than he had been not ten seconds ago. I thought the Curse was just supposed to make Percy stronger and invulnerable, not this.
Hyperion looked at the son of Poseidon, shock written all over his face. "You…have the Curse of Achillies. Growing stronger whenever an opponent strikes you, absorbing their power permanently." Hyperion's face twisted and he glared at Percy. "Guess I have to find your weak spot before you even the gap."
Percy's smirk deepened as he dropped back into a fighting stance. "That's not going to happen. But you're welcome to try." Both Percy and Hyperion blurred from sight, and thousands of shockwaves suddenly erupted from the sky, further damaging the already nearly leveled Manhattan and sending me to the ground. I looked up at the air, trying to follow the fight, but all I saw were blurs, flashes of movement and of course, thousands of shockwaves.
I felt nearly frozen in place, unable to look away from the titanic fight. Hyperion clearly had the advantage at first, as I could feel his aura throw Percy's around for a good twenty seconds as the planet shook from the fight. However, Percy's aura kept rising. And rising. And rising. And rising. And eventually, it started to close the gap. The fight become more even and much more destructive, forcing me to the ground. The pressure made me completely unable to move. Was this what it was like for people to watch me fight a powerful threat?
Luckily, Percy and Hyperion's aura left the planet, likely in fear of destroying Earth. I suddenly felt the weight of a thousand suns leave my shoulders, and I was finally able to stand. I used my aura sense to track both Percy and Hyperion, finding they were fighting a battle much like my own with the Titan of Heavenly Light. They battled across the cosmos, Percy's power coming closer and closer to Hyperion's by the second.
I broke myself out of my own stupor, immediately racing towards the closest familiar aura with my own speed. I appeared in front of the aura, thankfully finding my friends all alive. Annabeth and Arthur were tending to some wounded soldiers, both campers and Olympian Forces. I saw Thalia and Zoe looking up at the sky, no doubt following Percy and Hyperion's fight themselves with their own aura sensing. Lastly, I saw Taylor and Young Matt sitting on a nearby chunk of rubble, talking between themselves.
Everyone immediately perked up at my arrival, and Taylor practically blurred in front of me. "Zane! Thank fuck, you're okay!" Taylor brought me into a hug, one I quickly returned. Everyone else quickly jogged up to me, relief clear on their faces. "I though Hyperion killed you when he surprised us all. Percy said he was going to get you out of there and left us here."
I nodded, still slightly in shock from Percy clashing with Hyperion. "He certainly did get me out of there." I glanced at Annabeth, already feeling the question of where Percy was on the tip of her tongue. "He's fighting Hyperion." Everyone instantly looked shocked, with Annabeth immediately looking more worried than ever.
"Why did you let Percy fight him alone!? You're the only one who can actually fight Hyperion and not die immediately! Why is Percy fighting him all by himself!?" Annabeth was practically hysterical, as expected when her boyfriend was going toe to toe with one of the strongest beings in the universe. Normally she would think logically and not explode like she did, but this was not one of those times.
I quickly looked at Annabeth with a serious expression. "Percy asked me to let him fight alone." Annabeth looked shocked, but quickly her angered look faded, being replaced by one of worry. "I didn't want to, but he brought up some valid points to let him. And he was right." I pointed at the sky, out to space. "Percy's winning." Everyone's shock dialed up to eleven from my words, their jaws basically on the floor.
"He's right." Thalia spoke up, looking at the sky. "I can feel it. His energy has been continuously rising ever since they started fighting and now it's nearly equal to Hyperion's in terms of strength. I don't know what he's doing or if he was just holding back a lot, but Percy is clobbering him." Thalia spoke true. Despite being slightly weaker than Hyperion's at the moment, Percy was dominating. His invulnerability, combined with his seemingly infinitely growing strength made him a nearly unstoppable opponent.
"I think I know what's happening." I spoke up, prompting everyone to look at me. "When Percy got hit for the first time in the fight, his aura strength increased one hundredfold. Hyperion seemed to recognize what happened, and he stated Percy was absorbing the strength of his enemies' attacks and permanently increasing his power. His aura grows stronger every time he takes damage, but at a diminishing rate. I can feel it."
Zoe agreed with me. "Yes. Zane speaks truly." I looked at her, as did everyone else. "Back when Achillies first gained the Curse, he told people he had two options when he was submerged within the Styx by his mother. Be given the ability to absorb the strength of his foes or reflect it back on them with an actual attack. That was why he was so unstoppable, even to the gods. He was near invincible, except in his mortal spot."
I smirked at Zoe's words. "And Hyperion doesn't know where Percy's is. And Percy isn't exactly giving him a chance to find it." I smiled at everyone, most notably Annabeth. "Don't worry, everyone. Percy's got this in the bag." My eyes narrowed, noting I was still missing Thymos. "Although, giving him some help wouldn't be bad."
I closed my eyes, using my aura sense to search for Thymos throughout the practically destroyed city of Manhattan. I searched for the specific chaotic energy the weapon gave off, very quickly finding it. I brought out my outstretched hand, using my telekinesis to summon the weapon to my empty hand. In only the timespan of a couple seconds, Thymos erupted from out of nowhere hundreds of feet away, slamming into my grip.
As soon as the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar touched my hand, I instantly transformed into Heavenly Thunder Form, careful to completely control my transformation as to not kill all my friends. My stamina had been returned, thanks to that piece of ambrosia Percy had given me before he started to swap hands with Hyperion, making it easy to ascend. I opened my eyes, the organs now glowing a sapphire blue all throughout. "Show time."
In my fully stamina Heavenly Thunder Form, I was now stronger than Hyperion in his current wounded state and still more powerful than Percy, who was now Hyperion's equal. Percy's strength had mostly stopped rising, and only increased in tiny increments, although he was thoroughly beating Hyperion's ass. I could feel the fight much more easily, even being able to track their actual movements.
I felt Percy and Hyperion's aura start to return to Earth. I smirked. "Guess Percy doesn't need the help." Everyone, not bewildered at all by my divine transformation, looked at me confused. "Look." I pointed at the skyline above Manhattan, and not a half second later, both Percy and Hyperion's massive aura slammed through the clouds, instantly smashing into the ocean. Percy erupted from the water, carrying Hyperion by the neck.
Percy threw the defeated Titan into shoreline of the ruined city, careful to control the force of the throw as to not destroy the planet. Percy dropped down on the shoreline, standing above the Titan. I smirked at Percy's clear victory, before appearing beside the son of Poseidon in a burst of speed. Percy saw me coming, looking at me with a smirk as I stopped beside him. "Took you long enough."
I slapped Percy on the black, chuckling at his words. "You didn't even need my help, Perce. Got this sorry lightbulb right here pretty much on his knees by yourself." I looked at Hyperion, taking in his appearance. The Titan was in even rougher shape than before, his golden cuirass completely gone, likely shattered by Percy. His face was even more cut up, and his entire frame was practically covered in ichor. He was on his knees, leaning on his golden spear, breathing heavily. "Bite off a bit more than you could chew, Hyperion?"
Hyperion, despite being completely defeated, actually audibly chuckled at my words. "Well, I fought two, immensely powerful teenage demigods back to back, nearly died to one multiple times and finally was defeated by the other. And now, I sit here exhausted on my knees, completely at your mercy. Yes, I would say I've 'bitten off more than I could chew.'" Hyperion started to laugh again, before it turned into a coughing and wheezing fit.
Hyperion's dry and almost unconcerned words rubbed me the wrong way. I glared at the Titan of Heavenly Light, before appearing in his face. I instantly knocked his spear away, sending the golden weapon into space. I grabbed Hyperion by his neck, lifting him in the air while I floated off the ground. Hyperion gurgled at my grip, completely unable to escape. "What's so fucking funny, Hyperion? We have you completely defeated and dead to rights. Don't you realize you're about to die, permanently!?"
Hyperion simply laughed again, although I cut him off by tightening my grip around his throat. "W-What's….so….f-funny….is…." I loosened my grip slightly, allowing the Titan to speak. Hyperion coughed a bit, ichor flying from his mouth and onto my arm, before he continued. "What's so funny is, that you can stay here and kill me…" He pointed behind us. "Or save your friends."
Both my head and Percy's immediately whipped back around to the destroyed city of Manhattan behind us, seeing a massive sphere of golden fiery aura above the city. My eyes widened at the sight. How the fuck did Hyperion create that without us noticing!? Hyperion grinned and with a simple downward movement of his finger, the golden sphere rocketed towards Manhattan at a near impossible speed. My eyes widened even more. Hyperion was about to destroy the entire planet.
Faster than I could even think of anything else, I let my grip on Hyperion's throat loosen and I blasted off towards Hyperion's energy sphere, moving nonillions of times faster than light. I felt Percy trail behind me, no doubt intent on stopping the blast. I reached out with my telepathy, connecting my mind with Percy's. 'Make sure everyone is okay by putting up a barrier around the rest of the city! I'll deal with the blast.'
I didn't expect a response, considering Percy didn't have telepathy and couldn't project his thoughts. However, that didn't seem to stop him now. 'Wait! Why shouldn't I just tank the entire blast? That would be easier than whatever you're about to do!' I quickly pushed down my shock at Percy actually responding telepathically to my earlier message, as this wasn't the situation to point it out. I could ask him about it later.
I shook my head. 'That's too dangerous. If you just tank the blast, the sphere could submerge you and completely cover your body. Your weak spot, wherever it is, will get hit and you'll die. Not to mention the force of the blast colliding with you could rip apart reality likely on a planetary scale, if not even greater.' I could feel Percy's uneasiness and hesitation before he even projected another thought. 'Don't worry, Percy. I got something that'll deal with that blast real quick. Just make sure the planet is fine just in case I fail.'
Percy finally relented. 'Fine. Do what you have to do.' Percy appeared on the ground where the blast was about to hit, immediately creating a sea-green energy shield. The shield quickly encased the entire ruined city, before expanding as far as the eye could see in the blink of an eye. The planet was safe in the event this doesn't work. Good.
I blurred down towards the impact point where the blast was just a few meters from colliding with Percy's shield, appearing right in front of the sphere's trajectory. I was only feet away from both Percy and the blast. My eyebrow's furrowed and my eyes narrowed. Only had one shot at this. I took Thymos from my belt, holding it up in the air and right in front of the rapidly approaching energy sphere.
Rather than create another barrier and try and fight the blast, I did something else. Something unorthodox. I let the sphere touch several of the spikes of the Heavenly Diamond Morningstar, feeling the energy conduit through the weapon as I closed my eyes. I seeped my own, chaotic energy into Hyperion's blast, using Thymos as a conductor. Hyperion's blast started to become less and less golden and more dark sapphire, as well as getting smaller.
I continued to corrupt Hyperion's energy practically converting his aura into mine via sheer aura control, the action requiring every ounce of skill, experience and careful concentration I could possibly muster. And it worked. Hyperion's near skyscraper sized sphere shrunk more and more, being absorbed into the weapon and dispersing near immediately. Eventually, all of Hyperion's sphere entered Thymos, completely dispersing and vanishing.
I let out a deep breath, finally dropping the concentration state I had unconsciously entered absorbing the blast. Percy's energy shield also sputtered and blinked away after a few seconds, Percy and all my friends crouching on the ground. They all stood up and Percy let out a sigh of relief. "Didn't think that was going to work for a couple of seconds. What the hell was that?"
I dropped Heavenly Thunder Form and placed Thymos back on my belt. "I absorbed the blast into Thymos and dispersed the energy, nothing crazy. Just the way I did it was particularly difficult and dangerous, as to minimize damage to the planet." I looked back to the shoreline where me and Percy had surrounded Hyperion, my gaze darkening. "He's gone, isn't he?"
Percy nodded, an exasperated look on his face. "Yep. Vanished into thin air literally as soon as you let him go." I nodded at Percy's words, doing my best to keep a growl of frustration in my throat. Hyperion must have entered his dimension, again. Percy dropped his Earthshaker Form, placing the cap back on Riptide. "Well, since he ran away and his army is gone, guess we can call that a victory, right?"
I smirked at Percy's words, glad to have him around to see the silver lining for everything. "Heh. Yeah, I guess we can." My smirk immediately faded, looking around at all the destruction. "Not much of a victory, sadly. Manhattan is basically gone, and Hyperion's force was likely nothing more than a vanguard. How many mortals managed to survive the battle from the safe spots we placed them at?"
Silence was my only answer, as none of my friends said anything. I sighed, my aura sense telling me all I needed to know. Millions dead and that was just the prelude to what was coming. Hyperion wasn't even dead, likely haven run back to Luke with his tail between his legs, so he could show up again and make things worse. "Dammit." I felt worse than I already did. I had already accidentally killed untold numbers of people, I had also failed in protecting the ones on my own home turf.
I rubbed my face, before turning to Annabeth and Arthur. "Gather what's left of the army and form another camp. A singular one this time. No point in splitting up to protect the city anymore. Form around the Empire State Building." I pointed up to the entrance of Olympus, noting it was one of the only buildings currently standing. Must have some magic or something protecting it.
Annabeth and Arthur nodded, breaking off to gather the legions. I turned to Percy. "Percy, take Matt and search for any survivors from under all this rubble. After you find them all or if…you can't find any, clean the rubble up, try and make Manhattan spotless by the time Luke and the rest of his army get here." Percy took, motioning for Young Matt to follow him.
Speaking of the young son of Hercules, he had a thousand-yard stare on his face. This had been the first time he'd seen real combat outside of monster attacks, and by the look on his face and the blood all over his arms and torso, he'd seen a lot of it by now. I felt horrible, having sent a twelve-year-old into what was probably the harshest combat the universe has ever seen, but I couldn't dwell on it. If I didn't, more people could be dead.
Percy and Matt blurred from sight, leaving me alone in the rubble with Taylor, Zoe and Thalia. I turned to the two members of the Hunter. "Thalia. Zoe. Take the Hunt and scour the city, make sure there's no stragglers either in the form of monsters or enemy demigods. I don't want anyone in our forces to be taken by surprise."
Thalia nodded, with Zoe doing the same. "Right." My half sister let out, before also vanishing before my eyes in a burst of speed, the daughter of Atlas quickly following behind her. I was finally left alone with Taylor, who was leaning up against a large boulder of rubble, looking thoroughly exhausted. I felt the same, more mentally rather than physically, on account from that ambrosia Percy had given me.
I sat down beside the son of Ares, breathing out a deep sigh. Taylor didn't say anything, and neither did I for a good while. I simply sat down in silence, watching the soldiers in my army begin to work. "That was something else, am I right?" I finally said, cracking my fingers with a small shockwave.
Taylor chuckled lightly, before leaning his head on my armored shoulder. "You can say that again." We sat in silence some more, simply enjoying the peace and somewhat quiet for once. "How many died in your fight with Hyperion?" Taylor asked, his tone solemn.
I was silent for a few seconds, the memory of Heavenly Judgement destroying hundreds of realities playing through my mind. "Too many. Definitely a number that couldn't be counted for millions of years." Determination filled my face and I turned to Taylor. "I'll make sure each and everyone of them are returned to life. I don't know how, and I don't know when, but I will fix everything. All the damage, all the deaths, all of it."
Taylor had also turned to look at me, dark bloodstains and ash covering his beautiful face. "I believe you." Taylor said, a smile plastered across his expression. I looked at him in surprise, expecting him to tell me about how 'I couldn't save everyone' or 'I was still part human' or something, but no. "You're Zane Williams, the demigod who has battled gods, slain Titans and even traversed the multiverse. You can do anything."
I felt my cheeks warm and my heart sore at Taylor's word, completely shocked about his belief in me. Taylor thinks I can do anything? I…didn't even know what to say to that. That had probably been the greatest compliment anyone had given me in my entire life, and trust me, that was saying something. "Taylor, I….thank you."
Taylor shook his head with a small grin, waving my words off. "No, airhead. Thank you." He pulled me into a kiss, this one lasting significantly longer than the other two. I returned the kiss immediately, feeling an uncomfortable tight feeling in my groin. Once the kiss broke, Taylor grinned at me again. "You certainly are even better at kissing."
I smirked at Taylor's words once more. I had definitely had a lot of practice in that regard. "Could say the same to you." Taylor laid his head on my shoulder again, leaving us in a comfortable silence. I didn't really know where to place our relationship. Were we back together again? I mean, we certainly weren't just friends anymore. We kissed each other a little bit too much for that. "You know, we should probably get up and go help everyone get the camp together."
Taylor sighed, but it was a content sigh. "Yeah. We should probably get on that." Taylor pulled himself off the ground, using my shoulder armor to get up. Taylor held out his hand, a smile on his face. "After you, Mr. 'Commander of The Grand Army of Olympus.'" I scoffed at Taylor's words and took his hand, allowing the son of Ares to pull me up.
I cracked my neck and started to walk towards a group of a mix of campers and Olympian Soldiers clearing away some rubble. Right back to work.
(000)
(Several hours later, at Sunset)
I watched a group of a mix between soldiers and campers complete the final part of the wall around camp, which looked like some sort of citadel fortress rather than a simple military camp. The walls around the camp and in turn, The Empire State Building, were massive. Nearly one hundred feet tall complete with dozens of strengthening enchantments, as well as the wall having been made from pure titanium, made it virtually invincible. Even I'd probably have trouble breaking through, at least in base.
I floated in the sky above the wall, looking out on the charred and crater filled landscape of what used to be the city of Manhattan. All of the rubble and destroyed buildings were gone, curtsy of Percy and Young Matt clearing all of it within twenty minutes. There had been very little survivors from the battle, only numbering under twenty very lucky mortals who had miraculously lived, although they were still slumbering.
I felt terrible about the millions of people that were dead, as well as the untold amounts of sentient life throughout the multiverse I had destroyed fighting Hyperion. If I could have just controlled my power better when firing that blast and made sure I angled all the blasts and attacks away from Earth, maybe all of those people would still be here.
However, I pushed it from my mind. I couldn't dwell on all the innocents that were erased by my hand, otherwise they might not be able to come back. I would revive all of them, somehow, but if my focus was broken, I could lose this war and all those people would stay dead.
I floated back down to the camp, noting all the several hundred tents and several dozen buildings that numbered through it. Several buildings for blacksmiths, quartermasters and more had been erected, all for preparation of the real final battle. Thousands of Olympian soldiers and nearly two hundred campers worked themselves to the bone, knowing that the next couple of days could be their last.
I walked through the camp, my eyes darting from soldier to soldier as to make sure they were doing things right. I eventually saw Annabeth in the middle of several quartermasters and inventory managers, barking out orders and listening to reports. I walked up to the daughter of Athena, the Olympian quartermaster who was giving his report immediately pausing and looking at me.
Annabeth looked at the quartermaster expectantly, before following his gaze and finding me. "Oh, Zane. I guess you want a basic report on the general wellness of things?" I nodded and Annabeth looked at the people around her. "Return to your posts and keep working. I need to speak to the commander, although I will summon all of you back as soon as I'm done. Dismissed!" All of the quartermasters immediately saluted and cleared out with such discipline it would have made the Marines jealous.
I smiled at the daughter of Athena, grabbing a nearby crate and placing it behind me, giving myself a seat. I plopped on top of the box, looking at Annabeth. "I see you've taken to a leadership position very well. You think you may have a future in this kind of business."
Annabeth returned my smile and shook her head. "No, I much prefer working on architectural projects, although this is very similar from a certain point of view. This is just for the war, nothing else after." Annabeth's face became serious, and she pulled out a clipboard. "I take it you want that report now?"
I nodded. "Just the general affairs of things, nothing to in detail. I have you and everyone else here to worry about that." Annabeth nodded and begun to explain everything, although a brisk version. She begun to talk about next formations, new weapons and new strategy for the upcoming battle, as well as any issues in the camp. Nothing out of the ordinary or anything to worry about too much.
Annabeth eventually ended the brief report. "And that covers just about anything. Anything you want to change or speak your judgement on?" Annabeth clipped the clipboard to her belt, looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
I shook my head. "No, everything seems to be in order. Continue everything as it is, we have a war to win tomorrow." Annabeth nodded, and she looked like she was about to call all the quartermasters back, but I held up a hand. "Wait. Do you know where Percy is? Haven't seen him since he and Matt cleared out of the rubble."
Annabeth looked over in the direction of the left half of camp. "He and Matt both are over in the training area. They're overseeing drills and weapons training." Annabeth smiled over towards where Percy and Young Matt were. "Tell Percy I said hi."
I nodded at Annabeth with a quick chuckle. "Will do. Carry on, Annabeth." I quickly sauntered off towards the direction of whatever they constructed for training, whether it was an arena or a simple cleared field.
I made it to the training ground in less than a minute of walking, noting it was just a cleared field with several formations and a couple of fighting squares. There was several small, metal sheds likely containing practice weapons and armor, although I didn't personally make sure. The grounds were filled with hundreds of soldiers and dozens of campers, all of them being instructed by Percy.
Said son of Poseidon was in front of all the formations of soldiers and campers, overseeing all of their drills and combat training. "This technique I am about to teach you all is very difficult. I've had this used on me before, both in training and in actual battle. Today, I'm hoping each and every one of you will be able to do both."
Percy uncapped Riptide, before holding it up in front of all the campers and soldiers to see. "This technique here is all about using the momentum and strength of your opponent against them." Percy started to look between the soldiers and pointed at one at random. "You. Attack me and I'll demonstrate."
The Olympian soldier immediately looked nervous, as he no doubt knew just how powerful Percy was. However, he eventually found his courage, drawing his xiphos from its sheath. He charged at Percy at full speed, trying to cleave his head off with his blade. Percy effortlessly brought his sword up, quickly using the same disarming technique Luke had taught us both years ago. The memory flashed through my mind and my brows furrowed. Luke had been so different back then.
The soldier was instantly disarmed and Percy immediately knocked his shield away and kicked him lightly in the chest. The soldier went flying back to his platoon, knocking over several other soldiers. Percy looked completely unperturbed and turned to all of the soldiers and formations. "Now it's everyone else's turn. Pair up and practice the technique. I'll be going from group to group to make sure everything is going right."
Percy immediately started to walk through the soldiers and campers, surprisingly not helping or analyzing any of them. No, he simply walked over to me, no doubt having sensed me arrive. "Everything to your liking, Mr. 'Commander of The Grand Army of Olympus,' sir?" Percy asked me, a grin on his face.
I shook my head, before quickly fist bumping Percy. "Quit it with that shit, Perce. Taylor already gives me enough of it." Both me and Percy chuckled, and I looked in the direction of the training soldiers. "I see you taught them the same technique that Luke taught us all the way back when you first showed up at camp. Really brings back memories."
Percy smiled and nodded. "Yep. Can't believe I somehow managed to disarm Luke with very little training. Guess my dormant powers helped me then." Percy's face turned serious, and he quickly looked at me. "Zane. Be honest, how many of them do you think are coming home?"
I was silent for a few seconds, almost not wanting to answer the son of Poseidon. "They're all going to die." I said somewhat quietly and softly, as so the soldiers and campers wouldn't hear. Percy's eyes widened at my words, and he quickly turned and looked at the campers.
Me and Percy fell into silence, but I then continued. "Luke is too strong. And Hyperion is likely back with him. And they're coming back with an army probably ten times the size of the previous one. No matter how hard our men fight, they don't stand a chance between Luke and Hyperion. Hell, whenever we fight them again, the battle will probably kill almost everyone here. Honestly, whatever army Luke brings is just going to be a show of force. Me, you, Luke and Hyperion are going to me doing the decisive fighting."
Percy didn't answer for a few seconds. "So all this here, this training and even having them here, is useless?" I nodded and Percy's brow turned downwards, symbolizing his anger. "Then why are they even here? Why isn't it just us two fighting everyone? Did we just bring them along to die?"
I shook my head. "No, Percy. All these men and our fellow campers helped in the previous battle, making sure the enemy army didn't destroy or overwhelm Manhattan. They want to fight, they want to protect the world from Luke and his army. So I say let them." Percy looked like he was immediately about to argue, but I held up a hand. "If they die, they won't stay dead forever. I have a plan to bring them back, just like everyone who was killed when we fought Hyperion."
Percy's anger dimmed and he looked back at the training formations once more. "We should send them home. Whatever is coming in this final battle, Luke, Hyperion, more titans, another army. It's too much for them. You're right, they don't stand a chance."
I shook my head again. "No. Despite how in the grand scheme of things they can't do much, we do need them. They will help take care of the Titan Army and distract the enemy. They'll also be capable of interrupting any Titan plans, especially if the enemy uses magical rituals and such to try and hurt our efforts."
Percy sighed at my words, before nodding. "Fine. I'll do everything in my power to make sure they hopefully don't die." Percy took a deep breath, before changing the subject. "Anyway, I think I've finally caught up to you in strength. This Curse is really something else." Percy said with a smirk.
I scoffed at Percy's claim, good naturedly of course. "Pfft. Sure. You might be in my league of power now, but I'm still about…hm, twenty percent stronger than you. You only managed to match Hyperion after he was weakened after I beat his ass, not you." A smirk crept up on my face, my competitive battle spirit starting to awaken a bit.
Percy's smirk widened. "So what? Even if you are still stronger than me, we both know with the Curse's ability, I'd win in a fight. I grow stronger every time you hit me, so I'd eventually surpass you regardless." Hehe, sure bro.
I scoffed once more. "Heh. Except I know how your little Curse works. If I don't hit you, you don't grow any stronger. Just gotta fight defensively and we both know I'm a better fighter than you." Percy shook his head with a smirk and crossed arms. "And plus, if it were a real fight Thymos and the chaotic energy of Heavenly Thunder Form would bypass your curse. A single hit and you're finished, Curse or no Curse."
Percy looked like he was about to play argue again, but I kept talking. "I could also create a telekinetic barrier around every single atom in your body and telekinetically crush all of them. That would mean your weak spot as well, wherever it is."
Percy's eyes actually widened, as if he hadn't considered I count legitimately do that. I wasn't actually joking, I really could do that and easily, too. Percy's surprise quickly faded and a smirk appeared on his face. "Heh, never really thought about that. Guess I need to make sure the power of the Curse doesn't get to my head."
I nodded. "Arrogance is something I often take advantage of in battles, so if you fight me, you'd better." I decided to change the subject again, thinking about how Percy was able to telepathically respond to me when I spoke to him via my own telepathy. "So, you're a telepath too now? I heard how you actually responded with your thoughts rather than just feelings."
Percy smirked and I felt a presence brush up against my mind. I knew exactly what it was and let the son of Poseidon enter my mind, feeling his very presence within my own head. 'Damn straight.' Percy spoke telepathically. 'I'm fairly certain I was able to unlock it thanks to the Curse. It likely removed any limiters I have left, so telekinesis and your teleportation ability are now in the realm of possibility. Maybe even healing.'
I chuckled at Percy's words. 'Maybe I should have taken that Curse after all. If it did this for you, just imagine what it would have done for me.' I sent back to Percy's mind with telepathy of my own. Telepathy was pretty weird. It's like that small voice in your head that speaks all your thoughts, but you can speak in other people's heads as well. 'Speaking of telekinesis, give it a try. It should feel similar to telepathy, as they're the same principle but different power.'
Percy nodded and held his hand out, facing a rack of training xiphos' and spears. His eyebrows furrowed in concentration and one of the spears slowly levitated in the air, quickly flying towards Percy's hand. Percy caught the spear and smiled. "Amazing." Percy spoke aloud this time, his smile ear to ear. "Felt like a pulling feeling from the mind instead of the gut. Am I going to be able to fly now like you?"
I smiled at Percy's question. "Yes, actually. Once you get more practice with telekinesis, you'll be able to focus it on yourself and control your own momentum and leverage. And my father can't physically strike you from the skies now, considering you're nearly legitimately invincible. Look's like flying now on the horizon for you, Perce."
Percy grinned. "Let's try it now, then." Percy closed his eyes, no doubt focusing his new telekinetic abilities on himself. His brows furrowed and nothing happened for a solid twenty seconds, before he slowly started to ascend in the air, seemingly being kept up by nothing. He opened his eyes, floating nearly two feet of the ground and he grinned. "This is so fucking cool."
I shook my head with a smirk. "Sure is." I looked off in the distance through the camp, following Arthur's aura. "Well, I need to go check up on the rest of the others. I talked to Annabeth before and she told me to say hi for her."
Percy smiled and shook his head as he floated back down to the ground. "Too caught up in work to come down and tell me herself, eh? That sounds like my wise girl." Percy turned around and started to walk towards the training campers and soldiers. "I'll get back to whipping all of them into shape. Gods know they need it. Take care, Zane."
I nodded at Percy's retreating form, turning around myself. "You as well, Perce." With that, I continued my march through camp, intent on making my way to the son of Helios, wherever he was.
However, before I left the training ground, I looked for Young Matt's aura, intent on making sure he was okay after the particularly violent first battle he had. His aura was easily detectable, due to his massive strength compared to virtually anyone else except my friends. And just as Annabeth said, he was here, at the training ground.
In a nearby one on one fighting square, I found the young son of Hercules sparring with someone else. He was in almost the same exact outfit Matt wore, as I had Hephaestus cabin forge the same exact cuirass that the original Matt used when I had seen him, along with the brown cape. He looked like a mini, younger version of Matt without the chin scar. I felt pride seeing him in his full battle attire, seeing the imagine of Matt over Young Matt.
On the opposite side of the fighting square, stood someone I'd seen only a couple of times before, but wasn't exactly surprised to see. It was Alternate Harper, or I guess Young Harper if I'm going with the same naming scheme for Young Matt. Young Harper wasn't dressed similarly to her counterpart, now wearing a very textbook Greek style armor, just missing the helmet, allowing her dark long hair to be on full display.
The two were encircling each other, their weapons drawn and the two of them in fighting stances. Young Matt had his shark-tooth spear while Young Harper had her twin daggers, and both of them looked a little winded, although Young Matt looked as to have a very clear advantage. He was trained by me, after all.
The two then charged one another, appearing like blurs to most demigods who would view the battle, so obviously not me. They skillfully clashed with one another, trading swings, swipes and stabs. Young Matt was clearly winning, his superior strength and very even skill allowing him to easily overwhelm Young Harper. Young Harper could only parry and avoid most of Young Matt's, having nowhere near enough strength to fight such a powerful opponent straight up.
Eventually, Young Matt stabbed hard enough that when Young Harper tried to deflect, her daggers were sent flying from her hands. Before she could even react, Young Matt practically appeared in front of her and judo-flipped her to the floor. Young Matt quickly got in full mount, sitting on top of Young Harper and pinning her arms to the floor.
Young Matt's face was slightly tinted red as he restrained Young Harper. "Yield." I picked up with my enhanced hearing, hearing the slight nervousness in his voice. I nearly laughed hearing that, finding it hilarious that even in this Universe, there's a Matt that likes a Harper.
Young Harper kept trying to escape, before groaning and giving up. "Fine! I yield." Her face was slightly red, too, but at least she kept her voice level. Young Matt got off of the daughter of Nemesis and held out a hand to help her up. Instead of slapping the hand away like I thought she was going to do, she took it. "How the hell are you so good at fighting? And how are you so strong?"
Young Matt chuckled a bit, before his eyes trailed to me with a smile, no doubt finding me with his aura sense. "I had a pretty good teacher." I gave the son of Hercules a smirk before giving him a thumbs up as well. He's grown so much in only a short six months, even becoming equal to his fifteen-year-old self on the Cursed Island in Matt's universe. "Who taught you how to fight?"
Before Harper could respond, I turned around and walked away, leaving the two obvious lovebirds to talk between themselves. I had a son of Helios to talk to.
It only took a few more minutes of walking, something that was surprisingly not boring as I kept my brain active by analyzing our defenses and watching my soldiers complete their duties. Eventually, I found Arthur at the archery range, giving instructions to campers and soldiers alike on how to shoot or throw a javelin. Arthur quickly noticed me approaching as he was correcting a camper's shot, immediately separating himself from them and walking up to me. "What's up, Zane?"
I shook my head. "Not much, Arthur. Just walking around our little fortress here and making sure everything is running smoothly. How are things over here in your neck of the woods?" I turned my gaze over to the campers and soldiers, noting how most of them were near crack shots with their bows and javelins. I had never been much for ranged weapons, as my powers had taken care of that, so I didn't exactly know the intricacies of archery.
Arthur looked at the soldiers and campers with a smile. "Well, almost everyone here actually knows how to shoot, although they definitely proved that in the battle." His face then became serious, and he looked up at the sky. "That battle you had with Hyperion…you said that your battle destroyed hundreds of realities. What is your plan to bring them all back?"
I sighed, knowing someone would eventually ask that. "I don't know yet." Arthur looked at me in surprise, my words having contradicted my previous statement when I returned after defeating Hyperion. "Like I said, the multiverse is infinite. After this is all over, I'll search it for something for fix all the damage and return everyone to life."
Arthur was silent for a bit, turning his gaze back to the soldiers and campers practicing their ranged combat. "What exactly happened? In the multiversal realm you described? You said what happened was your fault. What went down?"
I grunted a bit, following Arthur's gaze. "Was charging a blast to finish Hyperion off, had him in this dead universe with no life. I put way too much energy in the blast, and when I fired it into the dead universe, it exploded and the power destroyed hundreds of other nearby ones. I channeled probably around two thousand Heavenly Thunder Form equivalents into it, which ended up being way too much. I just wanted to make sure he was dead."
Arthur put a hand on his forehead, almost overwhelmed by the explanation. "I…can just barely even believe you're that powerful. Seeing all that," Arthur pointed to the sky, where all the sapphire and golden energy filled the night sky with new constellations. "…was crazy enough. But hearing you destroyed countless realities? It's just insane."
I chuckled a bit, almost bitterly. "Well, Arthur, by this point in our lives, insane is just normal. Especially for me. Multiversal stuff and universe destroying power is just another Tuesday for me now." Out of the corner of my eye, I caught several members of the Hunt enter the archery range, including Thalia. "Alright, keep training the campers and making sure they know how to shoot. They're going to need it with what's coming soon." Arthur nodded, before marching back to the camper who had trouble shooting.
I walked up to Thalia, my thoughts becoming a little anxious. What exactly do I say to her? I know I told her I wasn't mad at her anymore before the battle, but how do I apologize for going off on her so hard. Apologies weren't my strong suit, and now that I think about it, neither are feelings in general. They made your thoughts cloudy and unfocused. Fighting powerful opponents is always much simpler.
Thalia turned her head to me, no doubt feeling my massive aura compared to hers with her own aura sense, an ability that Big Three children and somehow Matt Beckett only have. The other Hunters looked at me with a mix of the classic Hunter resentment, along with a healthy dose of fear and apprehension. Thalia had none of that, however. "Zane." She greeted with a smile and a nod.
I returned the smile. "Thalia." My eyes glanced at the other Hunters. "Can I talk to you? Alone?" The group of Hunters looked like they were about to form a circle around her, before she waved them away. They looked reluctant before following her orders. Before she could get another word out, I pulled her into another hug. "I missed you, Thalia."
Thalia chuckled before she returned the hug, having trouble fitting her arms around my armored torso. "I missed you, too." She exited the hug and looked at me, her expression partly disbelief and a grin all at once. "Gods, you're so different than you used to be. My little brother isn't so little anymore." She looked me in the eyes. "Tell me everything that's happened to you in the past couple years."
And so I did. I told her immediately after she left that I had crossed over to an alternate universe that's pretty much also the future, met a demigod named Matthias Beckett who was on par with me and fought Hyperion again. She didn't belief me at all at first, but after I showed her my memories from the events, she knew what I was saying was legit.
I continued to explain the rest of the story as well. The whole events with the Labyrinth, Prometheus, Percy dying, me cheating on Taylor and Nico, all of that. She couldn't understand why I would ever cheat on my boyfriends at the time, but I explained my reasoning, which had been grief at Percy's death. Still inexcusable, but it happened.
Then I explained what happened with the whole multiverse chase thing, how Luke had entered Matt's universe and tried to fuck shit up. I told her about Aposynthesi, Meek Zane, Insano, King Matt and even Sinister Zane. I told her of the final battle and me accessing nearly untold power to do battle with Ouranos. That was only a year or so after she left.
I then explained everything that had happened so far. My dream about Luke nearly killing our father, all the shit and drama in the Underworld that happened with Hades and Nico, my battle with Hyperion and now Percy even gaining new powers. Thalia had to absorb so much information all at once and it was difficult for her to keep up.
That's why I told her straight up instead of just transferring all of the memories and knowledge into her head. Her brain would probably melt and honestly, I also just wanted to talk to Thalia, rather than just use my powers to make everything super-efficient. "And that's pretty much everything. What have you been up to?"
Thalia chuckled, almost embarrassedly at my question. "Well, compared to you I haven't been doing jack shit." A snicker escaped my mouth at Thalia's words and she continued. "But for real, mostly it's just been a simple life in Artemis' camp. I got promoted to co-Lieutenant shortly after I joined and have been working with Zoe ever since. She's actually alright once you get to know her."
I laughed out loud a bit at Thalia's words. "Well, that's ironic, considering the two of you hated each other's guts with a burning passion of a million suns." I waved my little joke off myself. "But go on. Besides camp life, what have you actually been getting up to?"
Thalia smiled at my trashy jokes and continued. "Like I said, not much. Ever since the war kicked off, we've mostly just been either hunting down powerful monsters so the Titan can't get their hands on them or been taking place in small skirmishes we've been nearby." She shrugged. "Relatively simple, but it's fine."
We fell quiet for a few seconds, the one big elephant in the room not addressed from before. I quickly decided to take the initiative. "Thalia, I'm sorry that I went off on you so hard when you joined the Hunt. I didn't even give you a chance to explain your reasoning and just left. I just…felt so angry about you leaving. I thought you just wanted to leave the prophecy behind and abandon us to figure it out by ourselves. I'm sorry."
I looked off to the side. "Not to mention you're more or less the only family I have left besides our father, and that might not even be true soon enough. Even back then, I thought you leaving me would just make me alone again, like how I was when I first visited camp. I don't want to go back to that ever again."
Thalia shook her head with a smile. "Zane, it's alright. You did exactly what ever other fourteen-year-old kid would have done whenever their own family leaves them, especially when they don't understand why." Thalia sighed. "As for the real reason I did that? Well, I wasn't worthy enough to be the child of the prophecy."
My eyes widened at the confession and I immediately went to deny her words. "Thalia-!"
Thalia held up a hand and shook her head. "No, Zane, whatever you're about to say, whatever reassurances you're going to try and give, they're wrong." Thalia looked at the ground. "I'm too weak. If I was the child, then I would have let everyone down. Hell, today when you fought Hyperion, you just cemented that even more to me. I wouldn't have stood a chance against him in a million years. You or Percy would have been perfect for the job, and you are perfect for it. I made the right choice to join the Hunt."
I shook my head. "Thalia, do not say that. You're plenty powerful and you have the exact same potential I have. You could have unlocked the same powers and abilities I have. Hell, all this armor and these weapons could have been yours as well. There's no difference at the foundation between me and you. I've just trained a lot and for a long time."
Thalia raised an eyebrow. "That's just it, Zane. I didn't have that time. I was turning sixteen the next morning." Thalia words shut me up real quick, making me pause. My brows furrowed, unable to dispute her logic. Why the hell did I tune that Council Meeting out? I should have listened and maybe then I wouldn't have gotten so pissed at Thalia for her choice.
Thalia continued to speak. "I have no doubt I could have gained the power to defeat Luke and the Titans, especially if you were the one training me, but the circumstances were just not in my favor. Hell, joining the Hunt was more or less my only option, as being the Child of The Prophecy at my level of strength was just going to doom the world. You or Percy were the only real options."
I stood in silence, unable to find any counter argument. Thalia was…right. She was far too weak at the time to actually be a formidable Prophecy child. She didn't even have Thunder Form, which she might still not have, and I'm over here struggling with even further Evolutions of Heavenly Thunder Form, which I decided to name Power Stressed Heavenly Thunder Form, as I had to stress my body with even more chaotic energy.
I sighed. "Okay, Thalia. You have a point, but don't you ever be calling yourself weak by any stretch of the means. You could still probably defeat Nico, if just going by your aura." Thalia smiled at my words and shook her head. "Heh, you might not believe me but it's true."
Thalia laughed a bit. "Yeah, yeah. Sure." Thalia looked as if she suddenly remembered something, something important. "Oh, yeah! Now I remember. Taylor said he was looking for you and wanted to talk, if you weren't too busy. He said he was in your tent."
My eyebrow rose at Thalia's words. Taylor wanted to talk? That was…somewhat anxiety inducing, while also making my stomach feel like butterflies were in it. Hopefully he wanted to talk about the first thing that came into my mind. "Alright then. Well, it was good talking to you again and catching up, Thalia. And I'm still sorry for overreacting."
Thalia shook her head and waved me off. "It's nothing. Now go talk to the love of your life before he comes down here to murder you for making him wait." My cheeks immediately turned red at Thalia's words, yet I didn't bother to rebuke them. I shook my head with a chuckle and walked off in the direction of my tent.
(000)
Night was beginning to fall, which only made the sapphire and golden energy in the sky much more apparent. Hell, it wasn't even dark outside anymore, the energy illuminating the sky almost as much as the sun. The sun was no longer in the sky, yet the lighting barely changed. I looked at the sky for nearly a minute, almost entranced by the new, energy constellations.
Eventually, I was able to pull myself away from the awesome sight in the sky and march back to my tent. I felt a bubble of nervousness in the pit of my stomach, wondering what exactly Taylor wanted to talk about. This could go either really, really well or the complete opposite.
I eventually made it to my tent, briskly walking rather than just using my super speed to travel to my tent in an instant. I walked inside, finding the son of Ares waiting for me, leaning up against one of the wooden posts that kept the tent up. Taylor's eyes quickly found me, and he smiled. "Hey, Zane."
Taylor was, as always, drop dead gorgeous. He was wearing his Celestial bronze armor, sans the helmet, and had his spear on his back, along with his enchanted shield. His normally completely feminine outfit was nowhere to be seen, as Taylor had forgone wearing it during the battle. I didn't care about that fact. As Taylor pulled the badass warrior look off almost as well as I did.
I returned the smile with a nod. "Taylor." We stood in silence for a good thirty seconds just staring at each other, before I was able to finally pull myself out of the trance that looking at Taylor usually pulled me into. I coughed awkwardly. "Sorry, just looking at how beautiful you are makes me lose myself." I flirted shamelessly, with a huge grin to boot.
Taylor's face immediately turned red, and his expression morphed into a grin as well. "Oh, shut up, you stupid airhead." Taylor punched me on the shoulder, although I didn't feel even a tickle thanks to my durability and the armor. "Looking at you does the exact same for me, so I don't really blame you."
I chuckled as my face turned red again, not at all embarrassed. I held Taylor by the shoulders and kissed him on the forehead, prompting the son of Ares to let out the cutest giggle. "Thalia told me you wanted to talk to me." I said with a smile, looking Taylor in the eyes. "I think I can guess what it's about."
Taylor didn't seem at all bothered by my hands sliding to his waist, holding him affectionately. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders, being forced to crank his neck to look up at me. "It's not exactly hard to guess now, is it?" Taylor smiled at his rhetorical question. "'What exactly are we?' That your guess?" Right on the nail.
My face turned red and my smile grew wider. "Yeah, that was the first question on the tip of my tongue." My face became slightly serious and my grip around Taylor became strong, as if this would be the last time I could hold him, prompted everything went wrong right here. "What are we, Taylor? We are definitely way more affectionate than just friends, yet you said you wanted to start over when we made up back at camp. What changed?"
Taylor's face was hesitant for a few seconds, which made me really nervous for a little bit. "Well…it was you, Zane. I just love you too much." Taylor finished with a big smile, which made all the nervousness in my gut evaporate. "I've loved you for years. Even after…what happened a year ago, it never diminished. If anything, it only grew stronger."
Taylor moved one of his arms from around my neck to my face, cupping my cheep with his hand. "After I spent all that time away from you, and what I learned from Matt seven months ago, just reinforced those feelings." His smile faded slightly. "it just took me awhile to act on it. What happened was horrible, even you said it yourself. I guess I just finally got the courage once you reached out to me back at camp."
Taylor steeled himself, taking a deep breath in my arms. "I love you, Zane. You made me who I am today and just meeting you changed my life. Because of you I've been able to go on all these crazy adventures, see all these insane sights. Life without you would be like not living at all, and I can't handle that. So despite what you did, I don't love you any less."
I stood speechless after Taylor poured his heart out to me, literally having no words. I…just couldn't even comprehend the lengths Taylor just said his love went to and that love being all for me made my soul jump for joy. As I couldn't say anything that came even close to Taylor words, I brought my lips to his, unable to contain myself any further.
Taylor welcomed the kiss instantly, kissing me with even more hunger than I did for him. Our make out sessions started to get heated, something that was new to me with Taylor. We'd made out before, yet it was always controlled or slightly subdued. As if Taylor had been waiting for the right moment, unlike Nico, who made out with me like this all the time.
Several chairs, a table and a couple of drawers were knocked over as me and Taylor kissed, our movements becoming hungrier and more heated with every second. I roughly, although not roughly enough to hurt Taylor, grabbed him by the waist. I quickly moved Taylor on the bed so nothing else ended up knocked over or damaged.
I laid Taylor out on the bed and immediately got on top of him, continuing to press my lips up against his. Taylor started to moan as I started to dominate the kiss, my tongue being much stronger than his. My left hand started to feel up his lithe, yet firm and athletic body through his armor, although it was getting in the way a lot.
Taylor eventually had to break the kiss, only to come up for air. Forgot he actually still needed to breath air, unlike me. Taylor was breathing heavily and his face was beat red. His breath was visible, as if it were freezing outside, although the temperature was over seventy, even at night. I smiled at Taylor's completely flustered form underneath me. "So does this mean we're back together now?"
Taylor laughed at my dumbass question and pulled me into a hug. "Yes! Yes, you complete airhead!" He laughed again until it turned into a content sigh, and we just laid there for a good twenty seconds. Taylor then brought his head down to my ear. "Take off your armor. And all your clothes."
My eyes widened at Taylor request, and I pulled myself up on the bed a little bit to look at him. "Taylor…you don't mea-" His face morphed into a grin, his cheeks and face completely red. My face turned the exact same color as his hair, and I felt a certain tightness in my lower regions. "A-Are you sure? Isn't this a little f-fast?"
Taylor shook his head. "We're going to be fighting the deadliest fight in our entire lives in the next few days, even more deadly than today. We may not have time to take it slow." Taylor's grin returned full force, being even more shameless as the last one. "Plus…I want this. I don't care if it's considered fast or loose or any of that shit. I. Want. You. Right now."
My face was stunned for a split second, before it also morphed into a grin matching Taylor's. If that's what the son of Ares wanted, it was exactly what I was going to give him. "How do you want it? Rough or gentle?" I was pretty experienced with both, on account of sleeping around during the past year.
(LEMON WARNING: It's time, motherfuckers. What you've all been waiting for.)
Taylor smirked at my question. "Whatever comes natural to you, Zane. Now get all that invulnerable armor off. I want to see you." I nodded at Taylor's command, no longer at all caring about how fast this was. Although, technically it wasn't, as this was five years in the making.
I started to unclip my armor, removing my greaves and gauntlets first. I dropped them to the floor and kicked them away, not at all caring about where they ended up. I unclipped my leg armor and the upper arm pauldrons, leaving me only in my cuirass. I slid that off as well, leaving me in nothing but a pair of athletic, black colored skintight tights that I wore under the armor.
My raging bulge stuck out through the tights, something that Taylor eyed hungrily. "Get that off, too." I immediately obliged, pulling off the tights and purple underwear beneath them, leaving me completely naked. Taylor looked at me all over, his eyes completely wide. "Woah." He breathed out, looking directly at my fully erect penis.
My face was completely red and I felt my erection get even harder underneath Taylor's hungry and awed expression. "Well, what do you think?" Taylor didn't even bother to respond, as he quickly grabbed my arm and tried to pull me into the bed. I didn't bother to fight Taylor's grip and let the son of Ares pull me under him.
Taylor immediately pulled me into a deep, hungry kiss as he grabbed my erect member. He very quickly started to jerk it up and down, causing a shot of energy to flow through my body. My bright blue aura suddenly erupted around me seemingly on instinct, but Taylor didn't seem to notice or care. He switched up from jerking me off to feeling my body every few seconds, something that made my brain go crazy.
To my knowledge, Taylor had never done anything sexual with anybody, yet he seemed like a master as his hand pumped up and down on my dick. It felt better than anyone else I'd ever been with doing it, including Calypso. Taylor broke our heavy make out session, which had been happening while he was feeling me up and jerking me off, only to lick my torso, starting from my abs and continuing all the way up to my chest.
My breath hitched and I felt a pressure build up at the base of my erection, causing Taylor to grin. He increased the speed of his hand. "I forgot how hot you were. And this monster right here," Taylor motioned towards my fully erect cock, which was nearly eight inches at full mast. "…only makes you even hotter." Taylor spoke in a sultry, almost seductive tone, which only made that pressure feel even tighter.
Taylor's grasp started to become faster, literally igniting the air around his hand. The pressure at the base of my dick reached a maximum, and I knew I was going to burst at any moment. "T-Taylor…you might want to m-move…" Taylor looked confused for a second, then he looked down at my cock and realized it was also coated in my bright blue aura.
Taylor pulled his torso out of the way of my glowing cock at the last seconds, as I finally stopped holding the pressure back. A thick, white stream erupted from my dick in a single line like a rocket, ripping through the tent ceiling like paper and being shot into orbit with a small shockwave. Taylor looked at the semen blast with his jaw on the floor, like he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
I breathed a little heavily once my ejaculation ended, slowly recovering from the amazing experience. Taylor's eyes still bugged out of his skull. "You…just shot a cum blast…into space." Taylor looked at the ceiling of my tent, the hole that was created having been burned through. "Would that have cut me in half?"
I chuckled a little bit. "Probably. And maybe a planet or so in the next several decades if it continues to travel." My erection hadn't disappeared at all, my near limitless stamina on display. "I'm good on continuing, if you are." I hoped I hadn't terrified Taylor with my planet shattering ejaculation.
Taylor smiled and nodded. "Obviously. The fact that you said you could maybe destroy planets with your cum is probably the hottest thing I've ever heard." He looked a little nervous. "Uh, what happens if you do that while inside of me?" My cock twitched hearing Taylor's words and my cheeks became even more red.
I smirked a little. "You'd probably die. Horribly." Taylor eyes widened and I held up a hand to placate him. "Don't worry. I have a little trick up my sleeve to avoid that." Taylor looked like he was about to ask a question, but I interrupted him. "And no, it's not a pull out game." Taylor no longer looked like he was about to ask a question.
I continued. "We'll have to probably take the tent and the bed out of the fortress…actually no, we'll probably have to leave the planet. If we have full on sex with the trick I mentioned…well, Earth probably won't be here."
Taylor at first looked at me like I was absolutely insane before he started laughing. "I forget all the time how my life is actually this crazy and it's not some story." He looked at me with a hungry grin and red cheeks. "Where are we going?"
At Taylor's question, I used my aura sense, searching for nearby, habitable lifeless planets throughout the universe. Many, many planets were destroyed when I fought Hyperion, and even more were lost when Percy fought the Titan of Heavenly Light. However, several dozen light years away, I found a good candidate. Lifeless, earth sized planet with oxygen to boot. As to how I sensed the oxygen, even gas particles have tiny amounts of aura, just need insane sensing abilities to feel it.
I opened my eyes, looking at Taylor with a smile. "Found a planet that's perfect. Let's go." I held out my hand for the son of Ares, which he immediately took. Small storm clouds materialized beside us and bright, blue lightning struck mine and Taylor's form, teleporting us directly to that empty planet.
Me and Taylor appeared several dozen light years away on the empty world in an instant. Every where the eye could see was a dark grey rocky landscape, complete with a green sky with blue clouds. Taylor looked up at the sky, mesmerized. "It's so beautiful..."
I chuckled. "The universe often is." I looked at Taylor, barely able to contain myself any longer. "Are you ready now? I have something that will make us around equal power temporarily so I don't accidentally kill you."
Taylor returned my no doubt hungry and horny look with one of his own. "Absolutely." He raised an eyebrow. "Equal power? You can increase my strength temporarily? How?"
I began my very simple explanation. "Like this." I transformed into my Thunder Form, my bright blue aura erupting even more around me, along with my signature bright, glowing blue eyes and lightning cage. "I can give you a small amount of my Thunder Form's aura, making you strong enough to have sex with me." Taylor's eyes were wide looking at my form, with drool actually coming from his mouth. "Taylor? You good?"
Taylor broke himself from his trance, his face redder than his hair. "You look like a god." He motioned at my naked, Thunder Form transformed body. I looked down at myself, noting the incredible definition and size of my muscles, as well as the lightning, aura and power, complete with a raging hard erection. I probably did look like a god from the myths.
I chuckled a bit at Taylor's words. "I…suppose I do." My cheeks turned just as red as Taylor's and I felt my anticipation to get this on the way. I held out my hand and focused my aura around Taylor. "Here." Taylor suddenly became surrounded in bright, blue energy like mine.
This process was difficult. It required me to transform my aura into Taylor's. It was very similar to me absorbing Hyperion's death ball with Thymos, just even harder because I didn't have something to channel the energy through to change it. I had to do it on my own. Luckily, I knew Taylor's aura like the back of my hand and transfiguring my aura into his was made much easier by that.
I had to slowly forcibly take small control of Taylor's own energy and let it merge with mine, as well as changing my aura into his via aura contact. It was a very, very difficult ability to pull off, but I did it. Taylor's bright blue aura turned into a dark crimson, the same aura as his father's. Only he was almost equal to my base form now, easily millions of times stronger than before.
Taylor looked at his aura coated hands in surprise, his eyes as wide as dinner plates. "Whoa." He channeled his aura into his forearm, causing the appendage to light up with dark red energy, creating a thick cloak of pure aura around his arm. "I-I could destroy a planet right now…"
I smiled at him as I detransformed. "Yeah, you could. But don't be expending that energy now. It's only temporary and I'd have to refill it manually, and it took a lot of effort the first time." Taylor nodded and stared at my erection, licking his lips. I grinned in return. "Ready to have some fun?"
Taylor's almost lecherous grin widened. "Always." With that, the two of us practically attacked each other with our lips. We resumed making out, the prep and all the talk now finished. Taylor's hand immediately went to my cock again, grabbing it with a pressure I could legitimately feel. "Oh goodness, it's even harder now."
I licked the side of Taylor's neck, sending a shiver throughout the son of Ares' entire body. "Obviously. I'm with you right now, aren't I?" I bit Taylor's neck and he let out a moan. "Now…take all this off." I motioned to Taylor's armor, which he still wore.
Taylor giggled as I started to suck his neck, breathing a little heavily. "Of course, Mr. 'Commander of The Grandy Army of Olympus.'" Taylor practically tore his armor into pieces, unable to control his new, temporary strength. In less than two seconds, Taylor was just as naked as I was.
Oh, it was an absolutely heavenly sight. Taylor's naked form was lithe, yet there was some slight muscle definition here and there. His body was soft looking, but not weak. His skin was pale, in between the color of my skin and Nico's. His nipples were perfect, not too big or small and the perfect coloration. In between his legs was his own erection, hanging a solid six inches at full attention, precum already dripping from the tip.
I knew for a fact I drooled like a fat man looking at a donut. Taylor's beauty was absolutely divine, greater than anyone I'd ever seen unclothed combined, including Calypso. Taylor smirked at my stunned reaction, his face redder than before. "Well, what do you think?" Taylor asked, his words a perfect copy of my own from earlier.
My response was the exact same as Taylor's had been. I practically tackled Taylor to the rocky ground, our immense durability making us not feel it, practically smashing my lips against his. Taylor responded in kind, and we both began jerking each other off while making out like a couple of horny teenagers. In between the breaths Taylor had to take while we made out for several minutes, I whispered, "Let's have sex now."
Taylor licked my neck and breathed out, "Of course. Get on your back." Taylor literally pushed me down on my back, standing over me. I drooled at the sight, seeing both Taylor's beautiful body and raging erection from an upward view. He crouched down and knelt close to my cock, gripping it with his slender, smooth hands. "Get ready, airhead."
Before I could even question what he was about to do, he immediately swallowed my dick in one go in his mouth. I felt energy erupt through my body, and my blue aura surrounded me again. Taylor didn't care one bit and slid up and down, my erection firmly in his mouth. I moaned as Taylor licked the shaft while it was in his mouth.
Taylor popped my cock from his mouth and licked it like it was an ice cream cone, grinning at my moans and grunts. "Someone getting all hot and bothered?" Taylor asked in that same seductive tone, which sent even more energy through my body, causing my aura to intensify. Lightning slightly sparkled from my aura and frame, as I nearly transformed into my Thunder Form out of pure instinct. Taylor laughed at my reaction and once again plunged my cock into his mouth.
Taylor started moving up and down at an increasingly fast rate, pumping the bottom half of my dick with his soft hands. The air started to ignite around Taylor's head, yet neither of us gave any pause. Eventually, the pressure underneath my cock started to return, this time with a greater intensity than before. I started to moan like a whore, mixed with grunts of exertion. "T-Taylor, I'm about to-!"
Taylor didn't bother to move this time, keeping his mouth around my dick as I released my load. The ejaculation came out even harder than last time, literally spurting from Taylor's mouth in a near instant. Taylor's head was knocked back a little, however he still kept his mouth on my ejaculating penis, despite all the semen that spilled out of his mouth.
When it was over, Taylor spat what little of my massive amount of semen that came out into space with his enhanced mouth from my aura, breathing heavily as he did so. "G-Goddamn…" Taylor breathed out, sounding like he had been waterboarded or…cum-boarded. "I mean, I saw how much came out last time, but that was insanity!"
I laughed at Taylor's incredulity of how much I could ejaculate, shaking my head. "It is a phenomenon, isn't it? I wonder how my father had full on sex with all those mortals back in the day, considering he'd probably kill them with his semen blast." I grinned at Taylor, my erection still at full mast. "Speaking of full on sex…are you ready, Taylor?"
Taylor, not at all bother from being nearly drowned with my semen, grinned in response. "Fuck yeah." Taylor grabbed me by the shoulders and pushed me to the ground again. He crouched down again, sitting on his knees over my cock. He licked his lips, grasping the shaft. I felt the same, near electrifying energy wash over me.
I felt my hands unconsciously go to his waist and he inserted my cock inside of him. Both of us gasped at the sensation, having to pause for a few seconds to gain our mental bearings. However, Taylor quickly recovered and started to move up and down, immediately making the same sensation come back with a vengeance.
However, Taylor didn't stop this time. No, he kept going, moaning and shivering just like I had earlier when my dick was in his mouth. I started to thrust up as well, not content on letting Taylor do all the work. Shockwaves started being produced from the force of my waist hitting Taylor's ass, creating cracks throughout the landscape as far as I could see.
I grabbed Taylor's ass as I started to thrust a little faster, that electric feeling throughout my body being more intense than ever. My aura was blazing around me, as was Taylor's crimson one. If there were any inhabitants on this planet, me and Taylor would look like two gods having sex.
As my thrusting got harder and faster, I groped and grabbed Taylor's ass even more, starting to lose my mind a little. Taylor's behind was like the perfect mix between of male's and a female's. It had the soft, supple and smooth feeling of a woman's, as well as the tightness and strength of a male's. His hips were wide, yet not overly so. Seriously, Taylor was the hottest person I'd ever seen.
I couldn't control myself anymore and flipped mine and Taylor's position. Taylor was now on the bottom, on his knees and his ass in the air. I was on my knees behind him, thrusting into him with my hands on his waist. I started to lose all form of mental inhibitions, thrusting as hard and fast as I could in my base form.
Me and Taylor were pretty much fucking like rabbits, both of us moaning and grunting as the two of us started to completely give in to the pleasure. Our sex was starting to produce even more shockwaves and the planet itself was starting to feel it. The landscape was starting to be completely upheaved and parts of the planet were being lifted into orbit.
I felt that familiar ejaculative pressure build up underneath my cock again, but this time it was stronger than the other two combined. My aura erupted around me once more, growing larger and larger. I was at my full power in my base form, with my aura expanding around me for nearly five meters. Taylor's did the exact same, growing in size and intensity, only stopping a few inches from the size of mine.
My thrusting became faster and faster and faster, the force started to tear the planet apart piece by piece before finally, I couldn't contain it anymore. I let out a roar that created its own, massive shockwave before I released my load inside of Taylor. Taylor practically screamed in pleasure, releasing his own load that hit me like a punch to the gut, but I ignored it.
The planet literally crumbled apart into millions of pieces of rocks with my final thrust and ejaculation, what was left of the planet all being torn apart at once. Once my heavy breathing stopped and my mind became unclouded, I looked at all the new asteroids our sex had created from destroying a planet. I smirked a little. I doubt my father had even done anything like this.
A tap on my shoulder brought me out of my thoughts, prompting me to turn to Taylor. His face was purple and blue, and he pointed at his throat. My eyes widened, as I forgot Taylor still had to breathe air. I quickly materialized storm clouds around the two of us and willed bright blue to strike me, teleporting both me and Taylor back to Earth.
Me and Taylor appeared on my bed with a strike of lightning, both of us pretty much sprawled in the bed in exhaustion. Well, at least for Taylor. I could have gone for days, hell, probably weeks. But Taylor was completely done, heavily breathing on the bed. I pull my still erect cock out of him, causing semen to spill out of Taylor's entrance and all over the bed. I didn't care as I controlled the blood flow in my body away from my dick, causing it to soften and return to its normal length.
(LEMON END: That was crazy, y'all. Made myself horny. Hope everyone enjoyed that.)
I sighed contently as I laid beside Taylor, who was still heavily breathing and somewhat out of it. "Well, that was absolutely incredible." Taylor nodded wordlessly, still completely out of breath. I grinned at Taylor's exhaustion. "So on a scale from one to ten, how did you think that was?"
Taylor was still breathing heavily but he'd recovered enough to speak by now. "A-A hundred out of ten. No, a thousand!" He pushed himself up on his elbows, looking at me with a smile. "I could barely even process what was happening. Did we destroy an entire planet having sex?"
I laughed out loud at Taylor's question. "Absolutely. Now you know why we had to go to another one so Earth didn't get destroyed, because trust me, it would have." My eyes glanced at the charred hole my first ejaculation had torn through my tent, only for my eyes to widen whenever I saw a slight amount of daylight. "Holy fuck, is it morning?"
Taylor's eyes widened and he regained his energy. "Wait, what!?" He looked at the hole in the ceiling and his eyes turned to the size of dinner plates. "H-How long were we going at it? The sun just set went down when we started! It had to have been almost ten hours!"
My eyes grew to the size that Taylor's currently were. "No way. It felt like five minutes at the very most." With my aura sense and sensing at extreme levels, I could tell the planet had made a nearly full rotation. It was morning and the sun was about to come up. That gave me an idea. I turned to Taylor. "Want to get cleaned up and watch the sunrise with me?"
Taylor's face beamed at my suggestion. "Definitely."

(Ten Minutes Later, September 8th, 2009)
It only took a few minutes, but me and Taylor had cleaned up all the…bodily fluids on us and put on a spare change of clothes, with Taylor wearing nothing but a simple pair of grey sweatpants and a oversized blue hoodie, and me wearing nothing but my athletic tights I normally wore underneath my armor.
We stood on the smoothed over and empty plane that used to be the city of Manhattan, only a couple miles away from the fortress. The sun was rising over the horizon, bathing the land in a divine cover of light. Me and Taylor looked at the rising sun, my arm around the son of Ares as he leaned up against me. The two of us were silent, until Taylor broke it. "Well, what now?"
I smiled at Taylor's question. "We win the war. We wait for Luke's sorry ass to show up with the rest of the Titans and their army, annihilate them and go back to camp to live our lives. Not much else besides that." I turned to Taylor, a deeper smile on my face. "Whenever this is all over, and when Manhattan is back, do you wanna go see that new G.I. Joe movie?"
Taylor chuckled at my question. "That movie has been out for nearly a month, so It's hardly new." Taylor turned to me with a smile. "But yeah, I'll go see it with you. It's been too long since I've even seen a movie at all." We stood in silence for longer, before Taylor spoke up again. "Zane…I love you."
I chuckled at Taylor's profession as he nuzzled his head into my shoulder. "I love you, too, Taylor." We stood in silence once more, watching the sunrise once more. We stood there for a good five minutes, just existing beside one another. Eventually, I spoke it. "Alright, we should head back before-" That was all I could get out, before a massive flare of light blinded my vision.
I grunted in pain as my eyes burned, trying to rub the sensation away so I could see what the fuck was happening. Once my eyes finally were good enough to open, I saw a literally disk of bright, fiery golden energy three inches away from my torso and Taylor's. "TAYLOR, MO-!"
The energy disk sliced right through me like my body was a stick of butter, instantly cutting me in half. Blood erupted from pretty much everywhere. From my mouth, eyes, nose, ears and of course, the two obvious halves where my body used to connect. My intestines and organs spilled everywhere on the ground, being charred and cauterized from the energy disk.
My lower half fell forward and my upper half fell on my back. I felt an absolutely desolate and dreadful feeling come over me, the same kind of feeling from the Curse Energy from Prometheus' sword. I was…dying. I knew it. My regeneration and superhuman hardiness could probably keep me alive for maybe thirty minutes or so as it combated the blood loss, but I knew I was finished in the long run.
This shouldn't have even happened. I left all my armor and weapons back in the tent when I was having sex with Taylo-
Taylor.
I pushed myself up on my elbows, my arms quickly losing their strength to pull me up. It was absolutely jarring to look at my lower half and see nothing there, but I could dwell on that right now. Taylor came first and I had to see if he was alrigh-
No.
I looked upon Taylor's body, seeing that he had been cut in a perfect two halves just like me, his blood absolutely everywhere. His intestines and organs were spilled on the ground, just like mine. But unlike me, he wasn't moving at all. His aura was snuffed out, as well as his life essence. He was gone.
No.
No.
NO!
TAYLOR!
A tall, bright figure came up in the corner of my eyes, wearing golden armor complete with a fiery plumed helmet, and wielding a golden spear. "Hehehehe….foolish as always, son of Zeus." The Titan of Heavenly Light spoke, his fiery grin digging into the very deeps of my soul and mind.
And I saw nothing but pure red.
(000)
I just did that, bitches. Right after the long awaited lemon and reunification. I'm the most evil man on the planet. But don't worry, this isn't just some George R.R. Martin killing for shock value. This has a reason and I'll be for real, this was planned from the very start. Since chapter one.
Anyway, this chapter was a rollercoaster of all different kinds of emotion. Only 4 more chapters left in this arc, so I'll make them the most high quality and insane chapters yet. Later, y'all.
Also, to answer your questions, Merrik, here's a little chart me and Echoxenvy have made to keep track of all the main character's powers. I'll state the main cast of both fics. We made a number scale to keep track.
ZW CAST:
Zane: 375 in HTF, 450 in PSHTF, 4000 with Super Heavenly Judgment.
Percy (ZW): 350 post Hyperion fight
