Rachel Berry stood in the stands, anxious, as she urgently needed to talk to her boyfriend, however, she needed to wait for soccer practice to come to an end.

-Were you expecting me? -Noah Puckerman pulled the young Jewish woman out of her thoughts. -Are you all right, love? -The brunette asked as he sat down next to his girlfriend.

-I'm pregnant, Noah! -Rachel didn't speak for long. This was keeping her awake at night. She needed to share this with someone, because she was tired of facing it alone.

-How long? -Puckerman asked bitterly, his voice icy and his eyes vacant.

-Three months... -Rachel allowed herself to cry and wrapped her arms around herself.

-Shit! -Noah Puckerman rose from the stands in a leap and kicked the ground. -What are you going to do with the baby? -He put both hands on his head and walked in circles.

-I'm keeping it! -Responded the brunette with conviction and stared at the boy. -I don't have the courage to take it, and I would never forgive myself if I did such an atrocity!

Noah Puckerman was silent for a long time. He needed to dissolve that news. His life was about to change drastically and he is not ready to be a father yet.

-We could put him up for adoption... -Puck suggested and knelt down in front of his girlfriend.

-What? -Rachel asked, her eyes wide and her mouth hanging open in surprise.

-We're too young to take care of a child, Rachel! -Puck took the Jewish girl's hand. -I make very little money in the pool cleaning business and you don't have a job!

-I can't believe I'm hearing these things from you, Noah Puckerman! -he declared.

-You know I'm right, you know perfectly well that I'm saying these things for our sake and especially for the sake of this child! -Noah tried to hold his girlfriend's hands.

-We have big dreams and we can't give them up because of an unexpected pregnancy.

-I won't give up my child to strangers! -Rachel stood up and crossed her arms.

-We can think about having children in the future! -Puck also stood up. -When we realize our longed-for dreams and can afford to take care of a child, love!

-I've already made my decision and I don't intend to go back... -Rachel commented and touched her belly.

-It may not be a big deal for you, but it's a big deal for me!

-You'll have to choose between me and this child! -Puckerman held her arm tightly.

-I will always choose my baby! -Rachel pulled her arm out of the Mohawk boy's hands.

-You are the father of this child, and you had a right to know, but I can't force you to take responsibility, and I don't need your help to take care of my child! -He spat out the words.

She then left the stands, ran home in tears, told her parents about her pregnancy, and was promptly welcomed and supported by them. Puck got a new girlfriend after two simple days and the school learned of Rachel's pregnancy a week later and her life became hell since she would be a single mother.

Rachel Berry

I had just turned 21 and am packing up my things as I am moving to New York with my son, Antony Berry, who is about to turn five little years old.

-Are you sure you are ready to move on, little star? -My dad came to ask.

-I can't stay stuck in the same place anymore, Dad. -I commented as I closed the suitcase.

-You can always come home if you need to! -My father appeared at the bedroom door with my (sleeping) son in his arms. -We'll always have open arms for both of you!

-Thank you! -I went over to hug the three most important men in my life.

My parents accompanied me to the train station -Antony always got seasick on flights - and we took our time to actually say goodbye. My little boy didn't get a chance to say goodbye to his grandfathers as he was still asleep, however, the three of them would see each other again soon.

The trip has been smooth and very pleasant. There have been very few setbacks.

-Mommy... -A low, husky voice brought me back to reality and to that moment.

-What is it, my little one? -I asked as I placed him sitting on my lap.

-Where are we going? -He asked as he scratched his little brown eyes.

-We're going to our new little house! -I commented and planted a kiss on his cheek.

The city is more beautiful than I remembered. My son is fascinated by the buildings and the lights.

-Are we going to live here? -Tony asked as soon as we set foot in the new apartment.

-We will! -I crouched down beside him and a beautiful smile escaped my lips. -Do you like it?

-I love it, Mom! -Tony commented and hugged me tightly. -Can we have a puppy or a kitten? -He asked, his eyes shining with hope.

-I'll think about it very carefully, okay? -I asked, with my eyebrows slightly raised.

-All right! -Answered my excited little boy, and ran off to explore the new house.

My parents had bought me this apartment as an 18th birthday present.

It is located near my university and also near Antony's school. My work will be done as a home office, which means that I can afford the house and still be close to my gum.

"I will never regret choosing to stay with my son," I thought as I looked out the apartment window and watched the bustling city of New York. - "Does Noah regret the choices he has made?" -I always asked myself that same question.

-Mommy, I'm hungry! -Antony ran back to the living room and hugged my legs.

-What do you think about a pizza? -I asked as I put him on my lap so that he could see the breathtaking view of the city. -One pepperoni with lots of cheese! -I smiled.

-Yes, please, Mom! -Tony clapped his hands together and I kissed him on the cheek.

Our first night in the new apartment was wonderful and I'm sure this wonderful city still has many surprises in store for my son and me.
