I do not Own Percy Jackson or Arrowverse
A/N: This is the first story I have done that heavily revolves around a Quest so I hope it's alright, the Quest starts off very fast pace but I promise the second half of their Quest will be slower going, there are mentions of Rape at the end of the chapter but it isn't detailed
Summary: Clarisse La Rue left her home in Ohio when she was ten, escorted by satyr Gleeson hedge, leaving behind her older brother, in Central City, who she loved above all else. The one who raised her. Years pass, both the Titan and Giant war have passed, and Clarisse hasn't spoken or heard from her brother since she came to Camp, having been a full-time camper on her brother's request so she could be safe from her stepfather, his father, Lewis. Clarisse, or Lisa, decides to hunt down her older brother but before she can leave Rachel issues a prophecy to her. A prophecy about her Older brother. She, Percy Jackson, and Annabeth chase a quest to Central to find her brother, but things are not the same as before, when she finds him she finds he's not the same person she remembers.
Chapter one: Plans and Dreams
After the sing-along ended Clarisse, Percy and Annabeth followed Chiron, Apollo, and Hestia to the Big house. They all sat in the den. Chiron in his wheelchair, Clarisse, Percy, and Annabeth on one couch, and Apollo and Hestia on another. "To start, do we know if there is a deadline?" Percy says
"As of yet we don't know but I wouldn't waste time in finding Leonard," Hestia says "Apollo, can you see when they must get Leonard to camp by"
"Yeah sure," Apollo said his eyes glazed over for a moment "There is no date as to when he needs to be at camp. Your trip home will be long and hard, worse than the trip to find him. However, you must find him within three days not counting today"
"Or what?" Annabeth says
"He'll be seeing Hades," Apollo says
"Three days…. That's not enough time" Clarisse says, she wanted to cry again she would never see her brother again. Hestia leaned over and took her hands reassuringly
"There is enough time dear, you can do this, you must not lose hope," Hestia says
"The city of Mysteries. Annabeth, you the smart one here, what city is that and where is it" Percy asks
"Has to be a big City I'm sure…. City of Mysteries, City of Mysteries. I have no clue" Annabeth says
"Great so we have three days to save this guy and don't even know where this Cities of Mysteries is." Percy says
"As usual to Quest standards, we can not tell you anything else or help you anymore, however first thing in the morning Argus will take you as far as the bus stop, but you must decide on which city you will be traveling to tonight," Chiron says
"I got it Vegas is mysterious it must be Vegas," Annabeth says, Clarrise found the thought of her brother going to Vegas hilarious. When she was younger he would scowl just at the mention of the City that never sleeps. He called it Crazy Town.
"Lenny would never go to vegas he wouldn't even leave Cen… Of course" Clarisse says trailing off as the location became clear to her.
"What? What is it" Annabeth asks
"I know where the City of Mysteries is," Clarisse says, she was sure that she was right
"Go on" Chiron prompted
"My hometown. We need to go to Central"
"Park?" Percy asks Annabeth sighed in exasperation. Clarisse stared at the son of the sea god dumbfounded. He wasn't usually that dumb. Clarisse decided that Percy was tired and therefore just not thinking clearly, why else would he think of Central Park.
"No you idiot, Central City, in Ohio. Where the Impossible is possible. Or so Lenny says. Cities new motto as 2014 according to him" Clarisse says, Okay so maybe she shouldn't have called him an idiot
"Is it right? Do we head to Ohio Chiron" Annabeth asks
"That would more be a question for me, but yes, you head to Ohio. The trip there should be easy and-"
"You can't tell them anymore," Hestia says
"Oh yeah, whoops. I suck at this whole sending out on a quest thing" Apollo says his cheeks now had a pink tint to them. Clarisse had never seen a God blush before although Apollo wasn't like the other gods, he was more like them, easier to talk to. Though he may not have the solution for your problem. With Mr. D the campers were always to scared to go ask him for advice but with Apollo that wasn't an issue for anyone but his own kids, but Clarisse could understand not wanting to tell your parent about something embarrassing, or a breakup. Apollo wouldn't let the campers call him Mr. or Lord claiming that formalities were 'overrated' and that he wasn't that old. Despite being thousands of years old
"Just go to bed, before you spill anything too important. Chiron and I can handle it from here" Hestia says
"But I'm not tired Hestia" Apollo complained
"Now Apollo," Hestia said harsher than normal, Apollo groaned then muttered a 'Goodnight' and made his way up the stairs, in a very childlike manner "He's 4 thousand some years old, you'd think he wouldn't still act like he's a toddler," Hestia said as they heard a door slam. Clarisse had to bite her lip to stop from yelping. Sounds like doors slamming and glass breaking, when she wasn't in battle, triggered her. They triggered her brother too. That was one of many parting gifts Lewis left her with.
"What else is there to discuss?" Percy says
"I believe that is everything," Chiron says
"Pack what you need from your cabins, I will handle clothes, food, and money," Hestia says "Now then, off to bed before the Harpies come out"
"Thank you lady Hestia," Clarisse said as the three of them made their way to their cabins. Clarisse hadn't known how tired she was until she was in the bed, which was strange to her because she hadn't done much that day but before she could think about it she was asleep and greeted by the worst nightmare she had ever had, her previous dreams had scared her but they weren't detailed, they weren't clear, they were flashes of images, a man in a ski mask, a white van, blood dripping onto the floor, the sound of chains clinking, a cold feeling, she had seen a bloodied knife, heard screaming and the last one scared her more than all the others, more than any monster she ever fought. She had seen her brother, crouching on the ground in the dark, he was looking up at something his face was hard and unreadable but his usually bright blue eyes were full of fear. Whatever was enough to scare him most definitely sacred her. Not once when she was growing up did he ever show a hint of fear, he never cried. He was always brave and strong. She couldn't recall a time that he was weak. He had always seamed so strong to her, even when he was laying half alive on the kitchen floor covered in forming bruises or the times he had to be taken to the hospital after a particularly bad beating. Even in those times, he looked strong to her but in that image, she saw he looked weak as if he was ready to break.
She was in a dark room that smelt musky, she could hear someone groaned and the clinking of chains. She heard heavy footsteps approaching. She backed into the wall of the room, which she now believed to be a basement despite the fact that she wasn't actually there. The door opened and light flooded the room. In the middle of the room, beaten and bloodied laid her brother with his wrists chained to the wall. There was dried blood around the rim of each cuff as if her brother had tried to slip his hand out of the cuffs. Least, for him, his wrists were not chained together. It would be easier for him to escape. Clarisse didn't have any hopes of him escaping on his own. He was covered in fresh gashes and bruises; she could see every new wound and old scar even the 'Worthless' scar which Lewis had carved into Leonard's inner thigh. Her brother was completely bare, which wouldn't be the first time she had seen him naked. When they were younger, she often ended up playing nurse, she was the one who stitched up the scar on his inner thigh. His skin was paler than it normally was, her brother's usually short hair was long and matted. His hair grew fast, so in four weeks' time, or what she assumed was four weeks' time, his hair had grown to reach his shoulders. It was matted with blood and grim. He was covered in grime. She couldn't see his eyes. When the door opened he tried to back himself into a corner, the scent of Vodka filled the air. She almost gagged she had forgotten how bad it was, she would rather smell the Pegasus or any monster than the dreadful scent of Vodka. She could tell from the smell what brand it was, it was Spirytus Vodka, which had a 95 percent ABV. Lewis's favorite. She should have been ready for the voice that spoke after smelling that, but she wasn't. "We're cowering now Leo, you're even more pathetic than that Whore sister of yours, oh wait she isn't actually your sister" her mind was racing her brother was indeed cowering, this was so different from what she was used to, so unlike him, she couldn't recall a time he ran from a fight or cowered like he was now. she looked at his face and saw the terror shown clearly on it. He was terrified. Terrified of his own father
"Leave Lisa out of this" Leonard said, his voice was hoarse as if he hadn't had water in quite some time. It had been a long time since she had heard someone call her that, in his letters, Leonard only ever called her sis or trainwreck.
"I didn't tell you you could speak Boy" Lewis struck Leonard across the face, Clarisse closed her eyes, she felt like a little girl again, hiding in the closet as her brother, her protector took yet another beating. Leonard glared up at Lewis who slapped him again "I told you do not glare at me. Worthless" Lewis says her brother looked down. This is what he had been dealing with for four weeks, Clarisse was sure of it. She could see his spirit breaking, usually, he had much more fight in him. "Call her back," Lewis says
"No," Leonard said "Do whatever you want to me, no amount of pain or torture will make me call her home. She's an adult now anyway. You have no say to her anymore"
"Oh yes I do she is my daughter" Lewis grabbed Leonard by his hair and pulled him up
"Your Wrong, She's Ares' daughter," Leonard said spitting in Lewis's face. There was that fighting spirit he had been lacking a few moments before but Clarisse didn't want him to fight she wanted to scream at him to stop talking, just like when they were younger his big mouth was getting him into trouble with those snarky comments he loved to make that pissed people off. Now was most definitely not the time to piss anyone off. She did wonder one thing. She had never told him who her father was, so how did he know she was the daughter of the war god.
"I don't know who this Ares guy is but I am damned fucking sure that Lisa is my daughter," Lewis says
"Her name is Clarisse, or did you just forget that with your old age," Leonard said Lewis threw him across the room, or as far as the chains would let him go
"Any more smart-ass remarks," Lewis said
"You must be getting weaker too, those hits hurt much more when I was a kid," Leonard said, Lewis kicked him in the gut. Clarisse wanted to yell at him to shut up but no matter how hard she tried her voice wouldn't work.
"You talk too much. Nevertheless, I have some friends here that want to have a shall we say 'good time' with you. If you call Clarisse back I will be merciful and tell them to be gentle but if you don't…" Lewis trailed off, Clarisse gasped she knew what Lewis had meant. Leonard looked over in her direction, for a moment she wondered if he could see her "What is it, boy"
"Nothing Father. I won't ever call Lisa back, you and your friends can fuck off" Leonard says
"Fuck…. Well boy, that's what they are going to be doing to you. Boys, he's all yours." Lewis turned and left the room and in lumbered two large men, and then the door closed. And then Clarisse woke with a feeling of dread her brother had been raped.
