In the ruined city of Metropolis, buildings were gutted, wrecked, and overwhelmed with vegetation. In the distance was a black cloud with a beast inside. Kara found herself at a bus stop with three different versions of Supergirl with her: Karren Starr, Ariella Kent, and Cir-El. Karren wore the Powergirl outfit a white leotard that emphasized her cleavage, Ariella was a child wearing a black suit a red skirt, and Cir also wore a black suit with pants.

"Where is this place? And who are you?" Kara asked stunned.

"We're all Supergirls. Come before we become his lunch," Karren said as they hurried away from the area.

Linda looked over the judge. "Who's really behind the CW?"

"I'm in the dark as much as you are," the judge admitted.

Linda placed her foot on her left arm. "Your whole reality has been destroyed. Tell me, how does it feel?" she asked and then let up on her. "A corrupt courtroom, a fitting place for me to kill your ass."

"What if I told you Kara wasn't dead?" the judge backed away from her.

"I'd say you were lying," Linda doubted.

"Or maybe we both want the same thing," the judge suggested.

"How is she still alive? And how does saving her get us closer to who is behind the CW?" Linda demanded.

"It's complicated," the judge said vaguely.

Linda pointed her prune staff at her. "I'm telling you this willingly. I want to know who is at the top of this. I want to know who lied to me. When we prune Arrowverse timelines, it's impossible to remove all the matter so we just send it to another place where it cannot continue growing. The timeline isn't reset, it's just transferred," the judge explained.

"To where?" Linda questioned.

"A void," the judge said simply.

"This sounds like bullshit," Linda doubted.

"The dogma is that the conclusion to the Arrowverse is still being written," the judge said. "That the CW executives are turning the Arrowverse into a utopia of Emmy-worthy writing and production where no show gets canceled no matter how woke."

"That's nice. Super believable," Linda mocked.

"Whatever the reason, nothing ever comes back from there," the judge warned. "Now, I can help you if you trust me."

On the outskirts of the ruined Metropolis, Kara, Karren, Ariella, and Cir made the trek away from the cloud beast. On the way, Kara saw old spaceships and towers with vegetation on them. "I have some questions," Kara said urgently.

"Try to keep up so we don't die," Karren said dismissively.

"So, what's your plan?" Kara asked.

"To not die," Karren said obviously.

"That's not a plan. We're Supergirls. We should always have a plan," Kara rebuked. "Look, it's been a very trying few days. Please tell me what's going on. All I know is that I got pruned and woke up here. Now, I'm surrounded by variants of myself. I need to find a way back to the CW."

"Stop shouting or you'll alert Eliath to our location," Ariella warned.

"The monster in the sky," Kara realized.

"You catch on quick," Ariella mocked."This is where the CW dumps its rubbish. Everything they pruned and Eliath assures that no one ever returns."

"Entire Arrowverse branches of reality have been devoured in an instant," Cir explained.

"We're in a shark tank and Eliath is the shark," Karren said obviously.

"Okay, willing to accept that. Why are there so many of you?" Kara asked.

"We were all concepts for Supergirl that the CW dropped. Apparently, you ended up being the version they accepted," Karren said resentfully.

"If we work together we can escape," Kara said naively.

"No, we don't. We were all pruned by the CW and just like you, we thought we could make plans to escape that went nowhere," Karren said.

"We just need a portal watch," Kara said.

"Yeah, there are plenty of them around here," Cir mocked.

"Fine, what if we cause a nexus event?" Kara suggested.

"The CW doesn't give a shit what happens here," Cir shot down.

"Then, what is there to do here?" Kara asked.

"Survive. That's all there is to do, all we have ever done," Karren said simply.

"We're done talking. Let's go," Ariella said anxiously.

"Okay, wait," Kara said as she followed after them.

The four went inside an underground bunker that used to be a bowling alley. "Why do you want to return to the CW so badly anyway?" Karren asked.

"To save...all of us," Kara said hopefully.

Linda eyed the judge suspiciously. "I think that if I prune myself, I'll get to the bottom of this," she said.

"Go ahead and do it," the judge encouraged.

"Before I do, I'm taking you with me," Linda said and then pruned the judge on the spot. She then pruned herself as CW security guards arrived.

Kara socialized with the other Supergirls as she considered a new plan. "So, what's your story?" Kara asked Cir.

"I was supposed to be the daughter of Superman but, in reality, I was a human given Kryptonian attributes by Brainiac. I ended up going back in time to prevent my own birth thus eliminating my existence," Cir said.

"Same thing happened to me," Ariella said bitterly. "I've been trapped as a girl for all eternity."

"And what is your story?" Kara asked Karren.

"I'm alive and well in the comics going on many adventures but the CW didn't think my costume was appropriate. Unlike you, I'm not the original Supergirl. You're the first Kara Zor-El that's landed here," Karren said.

"Well, I'm going," Kara said resolved.

"Where?" Karren asked confused.

"Out of this place, back to the CW," Kara said. "We may be good at surviving but we're also good at escaping."

"You will be brutally murdered," Karren predicted.

"Well, so be it. That was my destiny, to begin with, after my final season," Kara said.

"You're different. Why?" Ariella asked curiously.

"No, we're the same. I'm the same as all of you. Have any of you met a fanfiction variant of us?" Kara asked.

"Fanfiction? Sounds terrifying," Karren said disgustedly.

"She is but that's what's kind of great about her. She's different. She wants to take the CW down. Now, if Eliath is a living thing it can be reasoned with. So, I'm going to go reason with him. And I'm going to need all the help I can get to make the best speech possible to persuade him," Kara said brightly.

The three just stared at Kara. "You fucking serious?" Karren wondered.

"Alright, don't help," Kara said disappointed, and walked off as the other three laughed at her. As she opened the bunker, several clone versions of Supergirl appeared.

"Which one of us are you?" Matrix Supergirl asked.

"Kara Zor-El, nice to meet you all," Kara smiled.

Linda awoke and found herself in a ruined bus. She sped out just as Eliath was about to devour her. Eliath's smoke dissolved the bus and everything around it. Linda then took to the air and flew away from Eliath evading smoke missiles from hitting her. In the bunker, the Supergirl Matrix clones took over the bowling alley. "You bitch, you led them right to our safe-space," Karren scolded.

Immediately, all the Supergirls start fighting each other with punches, throws, and kicks. Kara evaded the fight and went up to the surface. She then made her way towards Eliath determined to set him straight. Linda landed right next to her. "So, you're still alive. You surprise me," she mocked.

"How did you end up here?" Kara asked.

"I pruned myself to get here," Linda said looking around. "So, have you figured out how to deal with that monster?"

"Eliath, yes, well, I haven't come up with the right words to gain his cooperation, yet," Kara admitted.

"That was your plan? To talk it down?" Linda scoffed. "I'm going to kill it."

"Killing isn't the answer," Kara told her.

"I beg to differ. After I kill it, I'll find the real puppetmaster behind all of this. The beast is merely a guard dog," Linda said confidently.

"Maybe we can just get past the guard dog," Kara suggested.

"I'm going to kill its ass," Linda said resolved.

"Well, I admire your confidence," Kara allowed.

Linda and Kara made their way towards Eliath as he devoured a ship. "What is your plan when you meet the puppet master?" Kara asked.

"Kill his ass, too," Linda said obviously.

"What about telling people the truth? Your author can make up a story exposing all of this," Kara suggested.

"Right...," Linda smiled.

"Your author must really care about you. To give you all of your adventures and powers," Kara assumed.

"It's been a rocky relationship. He's given me a lot of crap over the years. I've lost loved ones, gained them back, been killed, brought back. My life has been a mixed bag," Linda admitted. "One day, just like you, I'll fade away."

"After my last season, I won't have friends. I won't have anyone. I won't even exist," Kara said reflectively.

"When we reach the puppet master, we'll force him to give you more seasons," Linda encouraged her.

"Thank you," Kara said gratefully.

"My pleasure," Linda smiled. "I won't let you down."

Kara and Linda then stared down Eliath as he came closer. "I go where you go," Kara said to Linda.

"Well, okay then," Linda smiled.

Eliath then landed on the ground and roared at them. "I believe in you," Kara said to her.

Linda glowed as she went Prime and faced off against Eliath as it opened his mouth at her. The grass and then the ground swayed away from Linda's feet like waves, debris around them became uprooted and was tossed behind them. The wind whirled around them. Eliath opened his jaws and went straight at them. Linda fired heat vision into the beast's mouth. The smoke ignited in fire all around them. Linda unleashed a solar flare that obliterated the smoke. With the smoke gone, a portal opened revealing a large castle on top of a mountain.
