A/N: I really apologize for the delay in updating, I'm at the end of a course (kind of like a college, you know) that I'm taking and I was been going through a bit of a rough time in my personal life, but I'm much better now... or getting better , I'm still recovering my mental health, but I'm much better than before.
Thanks for the comments, reading your comments, suggestions helped a lot during this time. Thanks a lot.
I even saw some robins that will be added to the story being mentioned by you, I think you may be in for a surprise when their scene is finally posted, but this may take a while since I've been back writing for literally four days and there are many chapters to go , this story took a turn that not even I imagined when I started writing, but I'm enjoying the result and I hope you guys like it too.
Good reading!
CHAPTER 30
There was no one in the hall of justice, but Kara heard the entire building, x-ray vision still hadn't come back, as did most of her powers. And M'gann had surveyed the building as well, searching for thoughts. There was nobody. The place was empty, and they went inside.
The craft landed in a small hangar at the back of the building.
Dick and Tim deactivated the alarms when they entered, in case Ra's had left any surprises behind, and reactivated them all with double security. Nothing went in or out without them knowing.
The ship only released the hatch when it had confirmation from both Robins, Kara and M'gann. As soon as it opened, Esfera and Lobo left, they went to do one more check.
Kara and Kaldur took Helena to the infirmary of the place, one of the spots she took it opened during the attack on the ship, since Kara had to hold her tight to keep her with her.
The rest of the group made their way to the main room of the palace. (A/N: the one from the first episode of YJ)
Rochelle had her sword in her hand, her guard not letting up even with the security checks. ''And now?''
''We're waiting for something to happen.'' Was Jason's response.
''Any news from the league?'' B.J asked this time.
''Not yet. And Batman has his comms off.'' Dick lowers his arm. The hologlove off now.
'' I'm going to bring some first aid kits, let's do some stitches on those injuries before they get infected. '' Bruce disappeared into the hallway towards the infirmary while everyone else was distributed among the sofas and chairs.

The night passed but none of them dared to sleep. Everyone was on high alert, even Kaldur and Kara in the infirmary. Bruce stitched everyone who needed it. There was more than one reason he wouldn't let his little birds deal with the Al'ghul. This was one of those reasons. But he was very proud, they came away with less injuries than he thought they would.
Bruce was silent during all of this, especially when he got to Jason. It wasn't time to talk to him yet. Not yet. He tried not to think about his own Jason, the way he'd found him when that warehouse exploded... no, no more thinking about him, never mind that he was stitching an alternate version of the second son...
The answer from Batman, from the Batman of this world, arrived in the morning, at seven o'clock in the morning, they had defeated the ninjas.
Tim and Dick liberated the palace just as sensors detected the arrival of the Justice League.
Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Green Arrow and Flash entered the main room. Getting scared by the number of heroes in the room.
''Is everyone okay?'' Superman asked again as he used his x-ray vision to check them out.
''Now we are.'' Kaldur replied entering the room. He had left Kara taking care of Helena.
''The girls?'' Canary asked.
''In the infirmary.'' Damian and Kaldur answered together.
'' Helena is unconscious, her injuries from when she fell here have not healed and the attack on the cave has not helped her condition. Kara's powers returned around five in the morning.'' Kaldur finished.
''Good, that's good.'' Canary nodded.
''And you? Any serious injuries?" Batman asked the group, his eyes roaming the room and taking in the addition of two new Robins in front of the couch.
''Just sword slashes and concussions, but they were taken care of.'' Bruce replied, analyzing his alternate version's uniform. Not much had changed.
''We've already alerted Artemis, Kid Flash, Superboy and Zatanna about the attack, there's no need to worry about them.'' Flash commented.
''What about the ninjas?'' Rochelle asked.
''In custody of the Justice League. We'll interrogate some of them in a few hours.'' Green Arrow replied, shuddering at the younger girl's stare. This one was definitely bat-related.
''They won't talk.'' Bruce (Robin) interrupted.
''J'onn will enter their minds if need be. They broke into a secret base and attacked our team, our sidekick.'' Flash explained.
''We're not sidekick.'' Dick and M'gann replied.
''Don't call them sidekick.'' The other Robins, with the exception of Bruce exclaimed.
''From the moment we put on these uniforms and fight interplanetary level threats we are no longer sidekick.'' Steph snarled.
The team hadn't faced a threat of this level yet, but it was the same feeling.
''Fine, fine!'' Flash held up his hands and took a step back. Man, it looked like they were going to beat his ass for saying that.
Diana looks at the only Robin who hasn't spoken.
''You are different from them. Quieter.''
''He's my alternate version.'' Batman declares.
''What?'' The other league members take a step back.
''You found out sooner than I expected.'' Bruce crossed his arms. ''Robin told you?''
''Yes.''
''And no one else is surprised by this?'' Oliver practically yelled. One bat he could handle, but two? No thank you very much.
''We've seen stranger things.'' Duke shrugs with a smile. ''Oh and my name is Duke.''
Batman waves to him. ''Is a pleasure.''
''Well, he said more than my own Batman when we first met, that's good.'' Duke leaned toward Jason.
''Did you find out their real motive?'' Tim changed the subject.
''Not yet. We'll find out in interrogation."
''We have a theory that they might be behind the machine.'' Dick approached the older boy. ''They were combing the mountain.''
''The machine is not the only different thing we have. We have to look at the whole landscape, not just one part, what else is different? What does this machine do?" Bruce asked, not giving the League time to respond.
"Us," B.J whispered. He looked at them. ' ' If they are after the machine, then they must be wanting to bring someone like they brought us. Or they want us.
''The league has already come to that conclusion. We just didn't know Ra's was involved in this one," Superman replied.
''Let's stay on high alert. They can make other attacks until they find the machine.'' Canary argues.
''First we need to know where to put all of you, the mound of justice will be deactivated for good.'' Batman looks at M'gann and Kaldur.
''I think we can release the tower to them Batman. It's about time.'' Flash ventures. ''It's safe and I think it's the only place he doesn't have access.''
''What about STAR LABS?'' Diana asks.
' ' I will not risk the lives of scientists. I already transported the machines to the tower. I will not risk them."
''Let's talk to the others first Flash.'' Oliver puts a hand on his friend's shoulder.
''We don't have time, the team was attacked in their own hideout, I won't risk their lives like that again, the shadows might strike again. We were lucky Kara was there, if she wasn't I doubt we'd be here talking to them.'' Flash raises his hand towards the group to confirm his line.
Bruce (Robin) looks between the partners, they all look doubtful, so he decides to speak.
''Wally is right, your team will be safer at the sentry than here.''
''Did you hear, the bat... wait, what did you call me?''
''Wally is Kid Flash still.'' Tim clarifies.
''Is Wally the Flash of your world?''
Bruce nods, but before Barry can ask for more information, Superman steps forward. ''Give me half an hour and I'll talk to everyone.''
''The Robins will stay with me anyway, tell them only the team will stay there. Go.'' Batman ordered and Superman nodded before leaving.
''What about Kara and Helena?'' Kaldur asks.
''Both will come with us. My base is safer than Superman's home.'' Batman responds calmly.
''Except for the fortress of solitude.'' Bruce adds.
''He's right.'' Carrie nods.
''We need more hiding places.'' Canary snorted.
''You need. Safe houses never hurt." Bruce crossed his arms.
The Robins around him nodded.
''Uh, can we really go along with this?'' Jason asked. ''I mean, the Titans towers...''
''They were made for the purpose of drawing the attack to them and not to the city,'' Steph interrupted. ''How many millions did we save on battles simply because the villains knew where to find us?''
Jason seemed to think about it. ''That's true.''
''Robin...'' Bruce silences them.
''Sorry Boss.'' ''Sorry B.''
It was kind of unnerving having two Batmans... Batmen? Especially when one of them was dressed as Robin and seemed to have a lot more experience with more than one Robin...although this one was a child?
''How many Robins did you have?'' Batman asks, for the first time dreading what he will hear. Would Jason give Bruce...
"Three." He lowers his head. ''Tim saved me after freaking out over the death of my Jason. We are adjusting.''
Jason shivers, but manages to walk a few steps and pull Bruce into an awkward hug. Bruce was never much of a hugger, but he returned the hug. This Jason was alive. ALIVE. And he would stay alive.
''I'm sorry I didn't make it in time Jay.'' Bruce whispers after a minute.
''It's okay Bruce, it wasn't your fault.''
The others had the decency to look away as they both started to cry.
''Let's give them a break...'' Dinah muttered and motioned for the younger heroes to leave with the league.
Bruce squeezed Jason even tighter with him, afraid he would disappear once more.
