Universe: Earth-23

Central City

A kryptonian and a human come out of the breach that recently appeared on the rooftop of one big building.

"We've reached Earth-23", Oliver said, knowing the extrapolator wouldn't misdirect them to the wrong Universe.

They are both acknowledging they're in a completely different world, seeing as this city seems to be very different. This city seemed very familiar to them.

"Yeah. Earth-23", Kara agrees with her husband. She is a little disoriented on this city's entire change. "Can't say where we are. It feels like Central City to me". She can briefly examine city by zooming in with her sight, as well as using her x-ray vision. This provided her an opening to see all the buildings in this city. She first discovered Barry and Iris's building, similar to the building from her Universe from her time, except in this Universe, the building has immensely changed. "I see Barry and Iris's apartment. Although it seems like it has long been abandoned. It's in ruins". She then continued examining the whole city, eventually finding a familiar structure of the lab Kara is very well known of. "There's S.T.A.R. Labs in this world. It's different too. It doesn't look domestic. I don't see a Harrison Wells, a Cisco nor a Caitlin in there".

"Our Barry warned us not to trust anyone in this Universe. Not even his doppelganger", Oliver recalled.

"All the more reason why we shouldn't be making any such contact with anyone", Kara said, gesturing Oliver to look up in the skies.

Oliver looked up, finding out that there are two figures hovering over there. He knows them but he doesn't remember them actually being allies. "Is that...?", Oliver finding it hard to believe what he's seeing.

"Your vision is as clear as mine, Ollie. That's Diana and Black Adam up there", Kara addressed.

The people, Oliver and Kara found, they haven't seen the two breachers yet.

"They haven't spotted us yet", Oliver proclaimed, subsequent to turning to eye at Kara. "Move out before they can see us".

Kara listens to Oliver, immediately speeding themselves out of the rooftop.

Kara puts both her and Oliver in the warehouse. The warehouse is their temporary room. They have a good sum of knowledge of this world. They did however know about Earth-23 before. Clark and Diana accidentally travelled to the future of Earth-23. The Universe mirrors the Oliver and Kara's except. The major difference is Superman going evil.

"I can't believe in this Universe, Wonder Woman and Black Adam are working together. I find it hard to believe Diana is working with that monster", said Kara.

Oliver turns around to look at Kara. "I hate it as much as you hate it, Kara. It's not our world, but I gives me the feeling to think to myself each every day when will the day come till the entire Justice League go rogue", said Oliver.

Kara looks at Oliver. "What do you mean?", Kara asked.

Oliver stopped moving, which he had been doing a minute straight. He didn't want to spill the thought out. It was an accident. He's shivering despite his place in a different Universe. His attachment is fixed on his Universe. Nothing is there in Oliver's body to lie to Kara. One single lie shatters an invincible steel. It hurts more when the truth is very darker than Kara imagines it to be possible.

"Oliver?", Kara requiring Oliver to respond.

Oliver rotates to look at Kara. "It's nothing. We need to get back on track. Evidently, we can't just fly to Gotham City. And we don't have much to interpret what way, other than your cousin going rogue, the world has been formed as. We need a route that these god complex maniacs don't know about", said Oliver.

Kara suggests the trains, next mentioning the distance it takes to go from here to Gotham City. She later talks about the idea. "If we get into the train undetected, we should be expected to arrive in Gotham without getting a knock", said Kara.

"Central City to Gotham takes about 9 hours by train, Kara. We can't waste time", Oliver said.

"Do you have a better option? Because we both know breaching to Gotham is risky", said Kara. She knows as big as Oliver knows using the extrapolator to get to Gotham is too much to guarantee a safe approach. Being in Gotham is like living an endless cycle of hell where literally the madness never ends. What's done is done in Gotham. People, and visitors, are forced to endure living in Gotham's conditions. Not only because it's Gotham City's chaos that concerns them, it's the god complex beings.

Oliver swirls his head a different direction. There are least possible ways of crossing through all of them.

Metropolis

Inside the building, fewer people have gathered in the building. This building long positions as the main base for the Regime to utilise. They used it for over 30 years. Crime ratings have been dropped considerably thanks to the combined efforts of various members who are forced to align with the oppressive, authoritarian, governmental ministry that spits the eyes on every government's eyes and twist it into their own view. They accomplished a wondrous of results that satisfied them, made them feel convinced the world is now safe. This building basically serves as a stronghold only because it's consisted of strong members who's strong pursuit is their version of bringing justice.

Members stood in front of the ruler of this world. Rigorously, this ruler controls everything while its allies serve for him. It's like serving for the pharaoh though in a less brutal way. Albeit this monster's methods prove extremely effective when facing against other monsters that dare oppose the Regime or any part of the world, or the whole world.

"How many fronts have been made?", the man, before everyone, asked. A man revealed to be Superman. The symbol of 'S', the House of El, disgraced fundamentally on how this one man coursed his rage across the entire planet, echoed the stars, the cosmos and subsequently everything it intended to shatter. All of it caused by just one big mistake he couldn't let go.

"As many as you wanted Kal-El", a lady steps a little frontwards. She wears a strapless red bustier held up by a brace of gold resembling an eagle with a star. She has a gold belt with a star on it and blue briefs with white stars on the side. She wears blue pants and red boots with white stripes on the front. She also wears her silver bracelets of submission on her wrists, her golden tiara with a red star on her forehead, her golden lasso which hangs from her belt, and her sword and shield which are attached on her back. This woman is best known by many of Superman's followers. Some of them fear her as much as they fear Superman. It's Diana of Themyscira, known by many as Wonder Woman.

"How about the martial laws? Have they followed?", Superman questioned them.

"It's progressing well. The people have stayed completely silent since the original leader of the Insurgency died 25 years ago. Though there may be some bumps we'd have to deal with", a figure, possessing the powers of the Yellow Lantern, answered. Yellow Lanterns are derived from the emotional electromagnetic spectrum. They are fuelled by fear. This man succumbed to the darkness following a tragic event that cost the lives of millions. That's when he began to realise fear is far effective, which is how he transformed into Yellow Lantern. The form that marks the worst version of himself. He wears a yellow domino mask and a yellow and black uniform. There are paddings on his shoulders. He has yellow metallic gauntlets with the Yellow Lantern on his wrists. His shoulder and torso are yellow while his legs are arms are black. His inner thighs are also black while his outer thighs are yellow. It's Hal Jordan. He no longer cared who is the problem anymore if they are a member of the Regime, villain or neutral individual, all that mattered is instilling fear, which was something his former friend once did for Gotham. This is how Hal reformed evilly. He once was a member of the Green Lantern Corps. Now he sides with those that share his sense of installing a new order to the world.

"If they protest or transgress, you know what to do", Superman says to Hal.

Hal nodded, understanding the Regime's priorities.

"Now that your queries have finished, I'd like to discuss about our regard with your affiliation with that other Universe doppelganger", said Diana.

"Oh yes. My softie cousin's doppelganger whom felt the same pain as me, though not in a painful twist. At least she understood what I felt. Unlike my Kara whom speaking of refuses to join my Regime even when his husband Oliver Queen died", said Superman. He rolls to eye at a robotic figure comprised of a primarily gray and silver metal exoskeleton. He has advanced plated armour with two red wires connecting his arms to his back. Superman is eyeing at Cyborg. "And also speaking of Kara, has she made any word yet?".

Cyborg goes a little near to Superman's side. "We've been keeping her under close observation. She hasn't said a single world since Oliver's death. When I had someone talk to her, that's when she spoke. Just expressed hate in you, Superman", Cyborg explained.

Superman glances elsewhere, feeling very guilty for causing Kara's full hatred blasted towards him. "I don't blame her. After all, I've made a lot of decisions that were dirty. I just hope Kara will understand even if she hates me as much as she wants to", said Superman. He sighs before turning to look at Diana again. "Returning back to you, Diana. Why do you ask about my cousin's doppelganger?".

"She's from a different Universe. And she denied all path to enter her Universe. Only allowing you access when she requires assistance or when you decide to set up a meeting abroad her world. And yet breachers have entered our world without that Kara contacting us", said Diana.

"Breachers?", Superman wondering how Diana would find that out.

Cyborg tells Superman about him being alarmed of a breacher entering their Universe since he has that ability. He then said the exact location of it stated to be in Central City.

"We should enact a coordinated attack on that Universe right now before they make any move", said Diana.

"I agree with her", a masucline voice appeared. Another Yellow Lantern Lantern, with that voice, emerged from the crowded members of the Regime. Sinestro. Sinestro wears a black bodysuit with yellow stripes on his hips. He has a spiked pattern of yellow sticking out from his chest with the Sinestro Corps insignia on his chest. He wears yellow padding on his shoulders and yellow gauntlets on his forearms. He wears his Sinestro Corps ring on his left hand. He also wears yellow boots. He's also worn a helmet. "It could be a reconnaissance".

"No", Superman says. "She saved me all the trouble of continuing my war with the Insurgency. Thanks to her, Earth is now despotically in peace. If she turned on us, she would've made a strike any time when we're broken eggs". He widens his eyesight. "But the breachers, I want to know more about them. Keep a close tail on them in Central City and all possible routes they'll take to leave the city. With Barry gone, we need to make sure nothing goes through us easily". He then thought about about forming a meeting with the individual the Regime don't trust. "About our friend from that other world, I will have a meeting. Any move you decide my make without my order will be severely punished".

Superman's warning feared many of the Regime members, making them hold that warning in their head to be sure they don't attempt to attack the other world. It gives the evidence why Superman is the most dangerous superpowered being in the world, arguably the Universe.

Central City

Oliver and Kara have reached a place where Oliver believes would help avail the two to get over to Gotham.

The Girl of Steel seems doubtful of the people Oliver is visiting. She views them as bad people. Up to now, she hasn't thoroughly managed to understand this world. There is still so much that they yet haven't understood. It could be that this world mirrors differently to their Universe.

Travelling to a whole underworld, Oliver and Kara encounter depowered metahumans. The place is filled with lots of them. They appear to have lost their powers because a metahuman dampener is active in there, just to prevent trouble from occurring. The last thing they want is catching the attention of a dangerous Regime.

Oliver and Kara continued moving along their way. As they press more and more forward, drawing their line upon the path, their target becomes closer. A target that Oliver surely knows who he is travelling to. Step by step, they move further and further past the neutralised metahumans. Their target becomes closer and closer. The two passed a few more metahumans as they carried on walking onwards to their target.

While they continued walking onwards, Kara swiftly examined the metahumans despite not being here for them. She does it anyway. Kara realises every metahuman's respective conditions. They are in bad conditions. Some of them appear to be wounded, bruised or weak. This may likely be caused by the presence of the oppressive Regime. Disheartens Kara to the far reacher levels of actually wishing to help them. She couldn't. Helping them means risking their presence hidden from the Regime.

After a long way moving ahead of everything they passed, Oliver and Kara reached a small area. This area Oliver chose to visit is without doubt the right place he needed to be in.

Oliver doesn't trust the man 100%, but he's making an enormous risk on both his and Kara's lives in order to get to Gotham City.

"I'm not liking your idea of taking us to the underworld of Central City. Which I do wanna ask how the hell you know where this place is?", Kara asked. Though she does know Oliver went to Central City countless times, she still wanted to know how he discovered it.

Oliver stopped, while briefly glancing on all direction before turning to look at Kara. "Barry and I once discovered this place when he needed a piece of tech. You know. Something Caitlin needed", said Oliver, making Kara understand how Oliver found this place. Even though their world is different to this one, the places wouldn't be different.

Above Central City, Wonder Woman and Black Adam fly, searching for the breachers. They can't let anything slide so easily, even if it's a small piece of a pie that won't does less damage. Any piece can ruin the Regime. They most parts of the city with feared people watching them as Black Adam and Wonder Woman cover more over the city till they found their breachers.

A moment ahead, they've covered one small part of the city, covering on the streets. They didn't find anything unusual happening in Central City. The Regime's existence has affected many cities to the point they are forced to stay muted. This part of the city Diana and Black Adam sees demonstrates it as proof. The cloud of thunderous bundles of metahumans bolting across the city have died out. The source that strives them to battle the city over and over repeatedly to take it from the Flash is dead.

Wonder Woman flies ahead on one direction while still remaining above the city, ignoring the watchers below her. She can relish in pleasure of the peace and quiet she long desired. Though that pleasure couldn't happen during her search for breachers, she will always have it when the time is done. Looking down at an alley, she sees nothing more than disregarded things left as filthy piles of shit. It didn't relate a clue on where the two breachers are. Diana wonders if they'll actually be the biggest problem. She wonders if Superman's cousin's doppelganger is manipulating whatever's happening behind the scenes. There hasn't been any trouble. But she believes something in there will do something, something worse that will ruin Diana's one chance of winning a fully pleasured life. He loves Superman and he wants nothing to stop between them.

Black Adam. He, like Diana, is searching for the breachers. He is supporter of the Regime and will make due on many methods necessary. Regime is the stronghold that overtakes black and white. It collides the fabric of them, essentially fusing them into a chaotic force. That force is always unstoppable. This force involving fear, Black Adam uses it along with his presence to draw his flight upon the skies, hunting down the breachers. They couldn't have gone very far. If they're humans, Wonder Woman and Black Adam would easily capture them and send them to kneel before the violent, tenacious, darker Superman.

The duo spent half a minute hunting those breachers, wrapping up more parts of the city. They won't drop the torch yet. Fire will remain as long as it appears till they're found.

Oliver and Kara, now in the underworld of Central City, arrived to one store.

Oliver rotates to Kara's side. "Let me do the talking", he said.

Kara nodded, short later stepping back to provide Oliver a moment to speak with the man working in the store.

Oliver begins talking to the guy. He transforms his expression into one he normally uses when he's enclosed himself into these dark tunnels, deciding to make deals or something with the fiends.

The guy turns his look to Oliver. Once his eyes are fully onto him, he began to speak. "What can I do for you?", the man asked. Then suddenly his eyes began shaking. As if an earthquake just caused him to vibrate. Yet he can't help but have this bizarre feeling he knows this guy in front of him. But he can't remember where. His chin is familiar, his face is familiar. Although this guy the man is seeing seems a little younger, he isn't far reachable from being recognised. He can't complete a good inspection on who this figure is. He saw him in the news. Seeing so many news has ruptured his mind. The dreadfulness of both the Regime and Superman has pushed a hefty number on him.

Oliver makes his head closer to the man's so he can have a private conversation with him that not anyone can hear about it. He does know Kara will hear it via super-hearing. "I'm looking for-", Oliver suddenly stopped when the man stumbled backwards, much to Oliver's astonishment.

"Hold on a sec. Aren't you Oliver Queen?", the man questions, finally recognising the man as the same person from before. "You're supposed to be dead!".

Kara blew back from what she heard. She didn't see it coming for the man to recognise the her husband is really Oliver Queen. And Kara found it shocking that the guy thinks Oliver is dead. She thinks about the status of this world's Oliver Queen. Is he dead? Kara doesn't know. Whatever happened to him, it made this individual believe this is Oliver Queen. She afterwards hears the guy ranting aloud, easily catching everyone's attention as soon as he mentioned Oliver Queen is alive.

Oliver notices the man holding forth the calling, disclosing everyone in the underworld about Oliver Queen. They appear to know who Oliver Queen is. Oliver assumes that this world's Oliver is just as well known as him in this world. He implies as thought that his doppelganger might've been a billionaire. Albeit he can't say if he was a mayor like Oliver was from his Universe.

The guy, while ranting out, also mentioned Green Arrow, much to Oliver and Kara's instant shock at the truth before them.

Everyone's eyes turned to the guy who pointed a finger at Oliver Queen, which made them subsequently gaze at Oliver. They know who Oliver Queen is. But in addition, they also know Oliver Queen is the Green Arrow.

Oliver knocks the guy down with one punch to his face. He spins around, facing against a horde of metahumans surrounding him and Kara, the latter whom stood next to Oliver.

"We have ourselves a problem. Wanna share a near exit if you have one?", Kara said. Since the metahuman dampeners are active, it could be difficult for her to battle against the horde though she is not fully powerless. She can fight and use some of her powers.

A few metahumans charge in against Oliver.

Kara sends a frost breach, blowing a few metahumans away.

Oliver gestures Kara to get herself on Oliver's hands so he could give Kara a boost to leap up.

Kara lifts up on Oliver's hands, before leaping upwards while in support by Oliver's boost, she travels to the air. She then throws herself at two metahumans, kicking the backwards. She then pulls one metahuman, making her spin in circles before throwing her across to hit on the other bunch of metahumans. She emits a red beam, aimed at one of the metahuman's shoes, rendering that metahuman distracted.

While Kara endeavours to push the metahumans back, Oliver performs the same thing wisely. He briefly trades blows with one metahuman, before using his elbow to break that metahuman's arm. He jumps up, dodging a kick from one of the metahumans attacking him. Oliver lands down. He uses his leg, dragging that metahuman to his side. Oliver shortly later sends two hard punches on the metahuman's face, knocking him down. He stands up, noticing a female metahuman attacking him. Oliver bends his upper half body down, ultimately lifting that metahuman upwards. Oliver tosses that woman to the other direction.

The other metahumans continue to charge at Oliver and Kara.

The married couple carry on batting with the metahumans. They don't have powers. It's easy for them to take them down. Kara has fought things way worse than this.

Oliver wields his bow and arrows out. He shoots a few metahumans with arrows. He kicks a few more metahumans back. The swarm of these metahumans are nasty wild rats moving to eat him and Kara alive.

Kara throws a metahuman up with her super-strength, making the metahuman hit the ceiling. She tosses a few objects nearby, causing some of the metahumans to stagger. The kryptonian kicks them back, instantly flinging them away. She is then punched by one metahuman, which didn't faze that much. Her body is durable. A steeled girl that even she can't be melted like steel would

Oliver realises the array of metahumans is going to keep coming at them. He could prolong the battle as provided as it should be. He doesn't have the time for this. Even Kara knows going a few rounds with them is time wasting, and it will eventually catch the attention of the Regime. They wouldn't prefer a negative outcome of that to occur. Oliver whirls his head to Kara. "Kara!", he calls out, easily getting Kara to turn her head to his way. Oliver gestures Kara to behind him in order for her to grab Oliver once the latter sets a cast off on all the metahumans targeting them.

Kara speeds back, standing behind Oliver.

Oliver casts an explosive arrow on his bow, cocking it. He lifts the bow up, targeting at the ceiling. Oliver shoots that explosive arrow up on the ceiling.

In the end, the arrow successfully lands on that ceiling, instantly erupting itself, creating one explosion that brings the rocks falling.

Kara notices the rocks falling, and the people running away because they want to avoid the rocks from squashing them. She uses this opportunity, pulling Oliver up and flying herself out of the underworld. Kara was at first surprised that she could fly. She then implied in her thought that it might've been the metahuman dampeners disabled. Full speed ahead, Kara thrust herself and Oliver up past the ceiling, intending to depart the underworld of Central City.

Above the city, Wonder Woman and Black Adam continued to run widely across the city. They refused to let go of their search on the two breachers. They might still be hiding. They in the end met up.

The people below them watch them as they they began talking. They contemplate on why two members of the Regime are in Central City. Of course the city is permeaded with metahumans, but they don't appear to display their threat levels.

"Have you found the breachers?", Diana questions Black Adam.

"No", Black Adam responded. He rotates his body, looking over Central City. "If we are to find them, it wouldn't hurt to ask the people below us. They may know where they are. Makes it easier for us to find them".

As soon as they the two are about to agree with the idea, they heard a sound below them. Black Adam and Wonder Woman promptly look down. They saw something that immediately caused them to possess fixed gazes.

"It seems our search has already been done for us", Diana says. She in due course smirked, craving to believe the breachers are there. She then perceived blurred figure flying quickly out of that surface. Diana slightly levitates downwards. Her smile bends further, showing her intense pleasure. "There they are".

Black Adam soon sees the blur too, focusing on preparing to reach them.

In an area past the alleyway, Kara, alongside Oliver, lands down in an area that's a little big. The two try to spare the time to recover. Battling the metahumans wasn't what they'd expect. At least those metahumans didn't have powers. It would weigh very big on the duo.

"Next time, think before you enter an underworld in a different Universe", said Kara, wishing she wouldn't get involved in whatever things Oliver does.

"That was truly strange. Me dead in this world?", Oliver thinks about this Universe's Oliver's status.

"I didn't expect that guy to think Oliver Queen is the Green Arrow", said Kara. She rolls around, looking at the wall. "It was three times, Oliver, that you're secret identity was almost revealed to the whole world. According to post-Kingdom-Come crisis's current timeline of our Universe".

"There's more it that meets the eye", said Oliver. He moves closer to Kara' side because the latter moved a little far away to contemplate on how Oliver's identity was revealed and how he died. "We'll have to solve another route".

Kara spins around, facing Oliver. "Like what, Ollie?", she asked. "Our last apparent shot got blown over because he knows you're the Green Arrow". She spreads her hands wide open. "We can't let ourselves be seen by the Regime. So I suggest we fly sky-high, ahead of the Regime. We should appear in Gotham in under a minute".

"Or you could surrender yourselves, and ensure you will quietly come with us", a feminine voice, very different from Kara and Oliver's, appeared.

This familiar voice prompted Oliver and Kara to raise their heads. They realised two figures are landing down in front of them. One of them is a woman with red bustier armour, blue pants, red boots, bracelets and a gold tiara. She seems familiar but this outfit is a little different from the distinguished outfit they've known before. In regards to the other figure, they discover he wears a black body suit with a black cape. On his chest is embedded with a yellow streak. A yellow buckle around his waist. And he wore a black cape.

"Hey, aren't they...?", Oliver lost of words because these two flyers have found him and Kara.

"Diana and Black Adam", Kara completed for Oliver.

Wonder Woman and Black Adam finally touch down. They quickly recompose, prepared to face them in a instance these two decide to battle.

Once Wonder Woman's eyes are fully drawn towards the two presumed breachers, her face stretches widely over seeing them in surprise. "Oliver? Kara?", she exclaimed, stunned to meet two familiar faces. Oliver seems to be younger compared to the individual Diana saw Superman murder in cold blood. It quickly caused her to form a safe thought considering the existence of the Multiverse is real. She shortly changed to displaying her serious expression. "Normally, I'd be very confused as to how you two are here. Since last I checked, Kara Zor-El-Queen of this Earth is in Stryker's Island, imprisoned in the red sun. And Oliver Queen has been killed by Kal".

The air thrusts outwards. A shocking revelation gusts everything away from Oliver and Kara's faces. The displeasured sensation driven on their faces at the feeling of learning what happened to this world's Oliver Queen. It was impossible. It could never happen like this. Superman would never harm a member of his family. His brother-in-law. It's frightening and bizarre.

'Clark killed me', Oliver thought to himself. He didn't picture an imagery of a Man of Steel hurting someone Kara loves. Except in this case, he is forced to picture on how Superman killed him, though Oliver doesn't know what he did to his doppelganger.

Kara glances at his right, undergoing a sorrow of her husband having to realise it was Superman that killed him. In her Universe, Superman respected the man even though one time he didn't really like the man but ultimately grew to consider him family. Darkness blackens the soul of something. It could specially occur to spawn the Man of Steel to blacken his soul.

"After learning the Multiverse does exist, thanks to a particular friend, I can deduce you two from an alternate Universe, am I not wrong?", said Diana. She hears no answer from them, making her convinced they are from an alternate Unvierse. "I'm not".

"Why are you working with Black Adam, Diana? I thought Amazons disregard working alongside any forces of evil", said Kara.

"You have no knowledge of this world's history, Kara. A lot has happened beyond your diminutive imagination. Earth is now a safer place because of the effort we did. We prevented the rise of crime ratings. We have secured this world to an outstanding success. Made everyone, including humans and villains alike, feared. We killed many more that dare opposed the Regime, protested against it. No more people will have to get hurt. Kal will finally be at peace", said Diana.

"Kal? What about Bruce? Did he agree to it? I'm certain he wouldn't have liked it. Even Kal wouldn't", said Kara, knowing fully well this world's Bruce and especially Clark could never work with someone who decides to change methods and make considerations on violent and fearful needs.

"Clark? He established the Regime. Provided what Bruce could never do: peace and security with an iron fist. Put aside his morals for the greater good by eliminating any that stand against us. Bruce? He was the true enemy. He betrayed us. Betrayed his friends. Even his own son Damien. He never understood what needed to be done. We needed to bring about order, and he stabbed us in the back. He was as naïve as Superman was before Superman lost everything. No man such as Bruce deserves to live", said Diana.

Kara is deeply shocked to hear the most painful revelation she ever had to hear from this world. A revelation as worse as hearing Superman killed her husband's doppelganger, he became a dictator. There has to be a reason why he snapped, why he broke. Every act has a reason.

"Bruce is right to betray you. In fact, you and Kal both betrayed him. He trusted the both of you. He loved you two like he had a family. And you both turned on him, turned on the entire world just so you could live in a paradise. That is wrong. You should be helping the weak, not turn them into scared rats forced to run away from you", Oliver shot back, trying to compare this world's Bruce Wayne's life with his Universe's Bruce Wayne's life. He assumed the doppelgangers have the same life even though she's seen worlds that prove that other doppelgangers of Bruce Wayne could have a different life.

"You are in no place to judge our methods. It isn't your Universe", said Diana. She now had enough of having these arguments. Arguments about this have went long and long like an eternity. People would never stop commenting on the Regime's brutal methods. "Enough. You will come with us now! Or you will die!". Diana isn't hesitant to kill them.

Oliver and Kara, the latter who snapped out of her thoughts, are prepared in their fighting stances, being cautious for an upcoming attack from one of them. Black Adam and Wonder Woman are both powerful individuals in their own right. One mistake for Oliver could make his life a running hell.

"We can't push them back with what we have", said Oliver.

"Black Adam is as powerful as Captain Marvel. And Diana is more skilled in combat than both me and Superman. They're formidable", Kara described the two people standing before her. She then revolves a stare at Oliver's quiver, subsequent to looking at his bow with an arrow cocked in. "How many arrows do you have left?". She knows Oliver hasn't refilled his quiver with arrows since her and Oliver left Waverider. Oliver was forced to use a lot of arrows.

"As you can see, not a lot. Only got a few left", Oliver answered, while keeping his shot at the pair. He's aware he can't beat the world's powerful people. But slowing them is sufficient. He's not aiming on winning the fight. He's aiming on leaving this place alive without being held captive by them or the rest of the Regime.

Kara turned, looking at Diana and Black Adam. They appear to be ready to attack her and her husband.

Both sides locked their eyes. One side is fuelled with heat ready to beam straight at the other end. The other side is the cold, not fuelled with tendencies to kill.

Full speed ahead, Black Adam and Wonder Woman charge at Oliver and Kara respectively.

Oliver and Kara prepare to meet their nightmare: them.

Once two sides are a second before colliding, a shape of a grenade appears between them. This weapon suddenly explodes, pushing everyone backwards due to the the explosion being a sonic wave.

Oliver and Kara alight on the ground. Eventually, they lay one knee up. They seem confused as to why they didn't get slammed backwards to thousands of miles away from the place. They perceive upon some small device that landed on Kara's hand. It looks like a device used for contact.

"Listen, I've launched a grenade to draw Diana and Black backwards so they can divert to staying motionless as long as it could happen until you and your friend get out of Central City as fast as possible. I need you to trust me. Not far from here, in Fox and Lampert. There will be a warehouse which contains a teleporter for you to get out of Central City. Come over there if you want to stay alive", a low-pitched modified voice, coming from the device, addresses to Oliver and Kara. It then stated the directions that Oliver and Kara needed to travel to in order to reach Fox and Lampert, to find that warehouse. "Move quickly now before they have a chance to get up".

Oliver and Kara exchanged glances. They both know they can't trust the mysterious person but if they continue to not attach themselves to anything around them, their genuine fate is either death or held captive. The duo decided to leave the area with Kara flying herself and her husband out of the area.

Flying speedily ahead to the stated directions, Kara moved as though she's a rocket. She flies further and further across the road.

People are perceiving a figure flying very fast it inflicted them the terror. The reminder of the presence of a Man of Steel.

Kara goes far to pass the directions she was informed to venture to. She moves to the next direction, winging forward. Drawing more upon the path, she ends up at one point where she had multiple directions to travel to. Using the knowledge of the directions she had to go by that mysterious individual, Kara sets off to that certain direction. She flies further that route, hurling quickly to reach that end.

While Kara continues to hurl fast ahead to draw herself on reaching the stated directions, Oliver perceives the people frightened over the presence of Kara. "Diana is right about one thing. We don't have much knowledge of what happened to this world", said Oliver. He gestures his head for Kara to look below the people running away.

As Kara fronts beyond the path across the way, she examines the people that Oliver gestured her to observe. She's incredibly shocked at what her cousin's doppelganger did. "I can't believe Kal would do this. He would never throw his morals off and go for the wrong turn. I know my cousin would never cross a line. That's what made him looked up by billions. For him to turn on them feels like a nightmare", Kara remarks.

"Well we don't want to extend the length of the nightmare long if we do not reach to Fox and Lampert in time", said Oliver. He afterwards thinks about why the unknown individual would want him and Kara to travel there. "It's a soup on a stick that we're forced to trust someone who might hold us captive. Or maybe trick us indeed to bring us to the Regime".

"You wanna take your chances?", Kara asked.

"I'm saying be sharp on your surroundings. We don't know his agenda so it's better keep our tracks slow and steady", said Oliver.

Right after Oliver spoke, Kara sped farther ahead. She's almost reaching to that location.

Kara and Oliver have reached Fox and Lampert, entering the warehouse. They quickly spread their eyes across everything in the enveloped darkness. They needed to be very careful with what they perceive in there. Anything could pop up in front of them straight away. To a great extent, a member of the Regime could present a surprise attack on them. The duo continue to throw their glances everywhere whilst moving further and further to the path. As they drew more movement as frontwards, they ultimately end up at reaching a triggering point. They stumbled upon something that caused the spotlight to envelope at one spot, making Oliver and Kara revolve beams straight at something that appears to be a device.

"Isn't that a teleporter normally used by the Justice League?", Kara questioned.

"It is. But it looks different. Look at how the teleporter appears. It seems inferior compared to the teleporter the Justice League uses in the Watchtower", Oliver remarks.

A static noise is brought about, causing Kara and Oliver to divert their attention on that sound. The noise is coming from the device Kara held onto. "I see you've entered the warehouse like I asked you. Now step on the centre of that plate. And I should be able to manually teleport you", the same low-pitched modified voice said, which came from that small device.

Oliver and Kara were a little hesitant but they needed to figure out how to get to Gotham City without alarming the Regime. No single thing to lay their way out of Central City, the two step onto the plate. They then wait for the person to send them out of the place once and for all. After a moment later, a while light veils them. They instantly get teleported out of the city.

Metropolis

Oliver and Kara are transported into a new area. This area too is in the dark. Didn't stop Kara from being able to see through the darkness. It's inevitable. And presumably their escape was inevitable too.

"It's really nice to see you two again, Oliver and Kara", a voice risen from the other side of the area. This voice wasn't modified. It's the real thing.

Kara widens her expression. "That voice!", she exclaims. There's no tight, masculine voice who holds that arrogant demeanour that would fit that of a man Kara can tell herself to an excellent standard. The Universe has twisted its greatest heroes into villainous monsters that carry no set of morals within them. But this man somehow remains to be alive despite the things that changed in a negative way.

The man stepped frontwards, emerging out of the shadows. "It's a pleasure meeting doppelgangers from an alternate world", a man greeted. He appears to be bald. And he wore a businessman suit.

"How is he even still alive?", Oliver questioning the man's current life status. If this world has shrouded into the deeper pit, all villains would fall, especially someone as worse as him.

The man comes closer, before stopping. He forms his composure, displaying how glad he is to meet Oliver and Kara. Although it's very bizarre to see a man that is usually depicted as the true villain. He is one of the most dangerous men on the entire planet. That is Lex Luthor. He whom stands closely in front of the two individuals who can easily take him down. He knows he can't beat them though he doesn't intend to. He wanted to meet them in person. It's most likely the one chance he'll have against the Regime.
