The morning sun was something Altair really liked, even though he is one of those people who prefers the winter, he still feels good when he wakes up with a light sunrise on his face, as it seems to give him more energy to start the day.
After eating his breakfast, in his apartment, he saw a letter with some information about his new school, making his smile freeze a little, as he remembers that there was no letter in his apartment yesterday, which showed that he was probably being watched by some people or maybe gods.
Altair decided to think about this in the future, since at the moment this information could do more harm than good for someone like him. And at the moment all he wants is a little peace so he can get stronger.
Walking along the streets of the city, Altair was a little happy, as he found it impressive how many people passed by him this morning, which showed that the city was extremely busy.
Currently, Altair was wearing a white shirt that was a little tucked under his body, which was by the way a little muscular, showing that the owner of this body probably exercised often, he was also wearing dark colored jeans to match his tennis shoes that were white, and to finish there was also a watch that he had found in his closet.
The most amusing thing for Altair, was that this watch he was wearing on his wrist was none other than a Patek Philippe that cost around eight million dollars, a really absurd amount for a young man like him to be wearing on his wrist.
I must remember to check my bank account any day, just to make sure that I am really rich in this world.
Altair considered himself someone who was discreet and who didn't like to draw too much attention, but he realized that this might be a little difficult for him, since as he was walking through the streets of the city, he was receiving many stares mainly from women, and most of them were focusing on his face which was really beautiful.
And many men who were watch connoisseurs were staring flippantly at his wrist that contained one of the most expensive watches in the world.
Although he found these stares a bit annoying, it still helped him to save time in finding the address of his school, since even though he had the address of the school engraved in his head, he still didn't know the exact location since he had never lived in Japan.
Even though Altair is not focused on studying, and being in that school is practically suicide, he will still need to be there as he intends to use future events to his advantage.
After all, the school he was going to at this very moment was the Kuoh School.
Altair was asking people on the street where the school was located, and many of them helped him with kind smiles, there were even some accompanying him to the school to make sure he didn't get lost.
Before long, Altair spotted a huge structure, causing him to get the look of a redneck, as it is the first time he has seen a school as large as this.
He ignored most of the stares he was receiving at the moment, while admiring the structures that belonged to this school. Altair had to confess that at this moment he looked like a child looking around every corner with curiosity.
As he walked around the campus, Altair tried to make friends with some students by asking politely where the address of the student council room was, to which the students quickly responded, especially the girls who wanted to take him to the student council, but Altair politely refused each of them, saying that just pointing out the address was enough.
While walking to the Student Council, Altair took the opportunity to look at the uniforms of each student, and he noticed that this school had a dress code, just like in the anime.
The boys' uniforms consisted of a black blazer with white details on a long-sleeved white shirt with vertical lining, a black ribbon on the collar, as well as black pants and brown shoes.
The women's uniform consists of a white long-sleeved shirt with vertical lining buttons, a black ribbon on the collar, a black shoulder cape and matching corset, and a magenta skirt with white detailing.
Altair also noticed that there was a difference between the amount of male and female students, and even though he didn't show it on his face, he was still surprised.
The ratio seemed a little strange since for every ten students, eight were girls.
But even if he was a little surprised, he figured that this would be normal for a school that had previously been exclusively for girls.
[Quest Alert!]
''What?'' Altair muttered in surprise, seeing this message he had received from the system in his head. Some students looked at Altair with strange looks, causing him to have to make an excuse that he had thought of something random.
The students then just looked at him and shrugged their shoulders, ignoring him again, as if he were some kind of crazy person.
But Altair didn't seem to care as he continued walking towards the student council, but only he knew what was currently going on in his head.
[Enter the school!]
- Goal: Enroll in the School of Kuoh.
- Reward: 100 points and a random skill manual.
''This Quest is relatively easy to complete, and if I look into it a little deeper, these system quests can help me to not be too far behind the other beings in this world.'' That was the theory Altair had at the moment, and in parts he wasn't wrong, since at the moment he was just an ordinary human with a little strength, but nothing that would be impressive against the real bosses of this world.
[Because of a special action, a skill was created!]
''An ability was created?'' Altair was a little doubtful, but he still checked this skill he had developed.
[Killing Intent]
- Level: 01
- Description: It is simply the act of the user exuding a pure killing intent, and affecting their opponent, themselves, and others around them, to the point of paralyzing the opponent in terror. When the intent is particularly strong, it can make victims have visions of their own death.
Altair's eyes widened at the sight of the ability that had been created, and a premonition of having been discovered flashed through his head, and he began to scour his surroundings for this murderous intent directed at him.
Of course, he also thanked the Player Mind for blocking this mental attack, otherwise he probably would have fainted in terror if the intent was too strong.
But it was then that he realized that the murderous intent was not coming from any devil or being of the supernatural, but from some male students. Well, actually they were not showing any kind of intention to kill him, there was only anger and jealousy emanating from them. And Altair had to admit that he almost burst out laughing when he realized this.
Luckily it wasn't the devils that take over this town, otherwise this would probably be the end for me. He sighed with relief.
''Also, I need to test this system's skill creation function, as well as find out if it's possible to force the system to create new skills just by performing any kind of activity, and if that's possible, then I can probably abuse it to become stronger quickly.''
Even though he was relaxed for now, his head never stopped working, always thinking about how to become stronger, as well as thinking about ways to make better use of his system.
...
...
After walking for a while, Altair finally arrived at the Student Council room, and at this very moment he was in front of the door where the main regent of this territory meets.
On the way here, Altair met many students, and they all treated him kindly with the exception of three boys who seemed to want to tear his skin off with their eyes, causing him to have some complaints, after all he had done nothing wrong and it seemed that there were already three students hating him. And that made no sense to him, but well, leaving those thoughts aside, he gave a few light knocks on the door in front of him.
"Come in...
That was all he heard, and just from that voice alone, he got a few chills, after all it was a lovely voice that could easily be mistaken for a mermaid's song if it wasn't for the tired and stiff tone that the voice carried with it.
Altair then put his right hand on the doorknob and opened the door.
''Excuse me.'' He said quietly as he walked into the student council room.
He decided to act politely so that he wouldn't have any problems in the future, since he knows how strict the student council president is with the students of this school.
Entering the student council room, Altair bumped into two girls who were in the room.
The first girl is a young woman wearing glasses, with long straight black hair that extends to her knees, with a split fringe and heterochromatic eyes, with a violet left eye and a light brown right eye. She also wore the standard uniform of the school girls, as well as wearing blue glasses with a square lens.
The second girl, is also a young woman with glasses, with a slender figure, black hair with a short cut and violet eyes, she has a somewhat short stature about 166 in height.
Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Souna Shitori, 3rd year student and Student Council President.'' Sona stood up from her chair and walked towards Altair to greet him.
It was a bit funny this sight, since Altair was relatively taller than her, causing her to have to raise her head slightly to face him making the sight a bit amusing.
Looking at the hand that was extended towards her, Altair didn't think much of it as he returned the handshake with a calm smile on his face.
''So, what can I help you with?'' Sona asked as she sat back down in her chair focusing on the huge stack of papers on her desk.
The other girl who was next to Sona, bowed slightly to Altair to greet him, of course Altair also bowed slightly to show his respect, but this was a little strange since he was not so used to this culture of Japan.
''Actually, I came here to enroll in the School.'' Altair said formally as he continued.
"My name is Altair Lockheart, I am seventeen years old and I will be doing my 2nd year. The rest of my information you can check on my transcript.'' Altair then handed over some documents to Sona.
And this was a little bizarre, since somehow along with the letter that was in his apartment there were also several documents about him, which saved him from making up some story about how he had lost his documents and stuff like that.
Altair was just afraid that they would discover some kind of inconsistency in his history, since he probably shouldn't exist in this world.
''Altair Lockheart... You are a foreigner, right?'' The other girl with glasses asked.
''Yes...'' Altair replied, as he remembered the name of the girl in front of him, and if his memory wasn't too bad, her name was Tsubaki Shinra.
Altair pretended not to know her and made a rather dubious expression, after all they theoretically don't know each other so it would be strange if he spoke as if he knew her for a long time.
Besides, the whole foreigner thing is a bit strange, of course, if you consider foreign someone who came from another world, then yes, Altair was a foreigner.
Tsubaki, realizing his mistake, quickly introduced himself.
''My name is Shinra Tsubaki, I'm a third grader...'' She introduced herself rather simply and a bit emotionlessly, making Altair's heart a little sad, after all he was a bit weak for beauties.
''It's a pleasure to meet you, senpais.'' Altair said with a bit of irony in his voice, while holding himself back from laughing, as these Japanese honorifics were very funny to him, besides of course, he was not used to using them.
Anyway, after handing over the necessary documents and signing some papers, Tsubaki quickly handed him the school uniform, something Altair would only wear it the next day, since he was lazy to change clothes at school.
[The Quest Enter the school has been completed!]
[You have earned 100 Points!]
["Skill Manual (Eye of God)" has been acquired!]
[The item has been moved to the Inventory!]]
Altair almost jumped for joy at seeing the rewards he had received from the system, especially the random skill manual that turned out to be the Eye of God.
He then thanked the two women for their help, and quickly left the room, eager to test his new skill, but not before looking for a good place to do so.
