Asarirn slept peacefully in his bed. Ever since the entrance exam, Asarirn just wanted some rest. However, the one thing that is going to ruin that moment was going to be Ruby Rose. Ruby woken early for this special moment.

With a shiny whistle in hand, Ruby decided to give it one big blow. Everyone jumped by the sound of the whistle. As for Asarirn, he barely flinched.

"Good morning, Team RWBY!" Ruby excitedly cheered.

"Why you have to be this happy in the morning?" Weiss asked as she tried to get up.

"Why you ask?" Ruby jokingly asked. "We have a new teammate," Ruby pointed at Asarirn, "how can I not be excited?"

Ruby watched as Asarirn rose up from his bed and simply sat there. Everyone else managed to climb out of their beds. They proceed to begin their day by gathering their bathrobes and such. Yang handed Ruby her things. The four girls started to head for the door but Ruby stopped. Ruby looked back towards Asarirn. Asarirn still was sitting on his bedside.

"Are you going to shower?" Ruby asked. Asarirn didn't respond. Ruby thought for a moment before realizing what was wrong. "Do you have your things to shower with?"

"I didn't plan that I would live here," Asarirn responded.

"Well, I expect everyone in my team to be clean. Weiss, can you give Arranis one of your spare towels?"

"Sure," Weiss said as she headed for the closet. She pulled out a towel before placing next to Asarirn.

"For shampoo," Ruby said to herself. "I can let you use my shampoo then."

"I guess I will stay here," Asarirn said. "I will wait for you girls to finish before heading for the showers. So, I won't be here when you girls change."

"I like the idea," Weiss sounded pleased.

Asarirn watched as the four girls departed for the shower, leaving him in the room by himself. Asarirn sat patiently on his bed, but after a couple of minutes, he had grown bored. Asarirn gave one look at the massive blade that sat next to his bed before deciding to look around the room to pass the time. Asarirn had really given much attention to the room because he didn't really care about.

Asarirn stood from his bed and walked to foot of his bed. At the foot of the bed laid his blade. Asarirn picked up his blade before sitting on his bed again. Asarirn pulled the blade from the sheath until it fully reveal the inscription of the blade. Asarirn stared at the inscription for a bit.

Asarirn recited the writings:

We, Weapon Masters, lived throughout history.

Some legacy lived on, some are forgotten.

But, we fight based on what we believed in.

Asarirn continued to look at the inscription. "I fight to-" Asarirn stopped as he heard a knock on the door. Asarirn sheathed the blade completely before placing back down.

Asarirn answered the door. Stood in the doorway was Glynda Goodwitch. Glynda greeted Asarirn with a smile.

"I see you are up early, Mr. Shadow," Glynda stated.

"Good morning, Ms. Goodwitch."

"I'm here to deliver your uniform."

Asarirn stared as Glynda presented his uniform. The uniform was inside a square see-through package. And on top of the package was a pair of dress shoes. Asarirn accepted the uniform.

"Thank you."

Glynda peaked through the door and noticed the girls were missing.

"Where are your teammates?" Glynda questioned.

"They are currently in the showers," Asarirn explained.

"And what about you?"

"I am waiting for Ms. Rose to come back, so I may use her shampoo."

Glynda let a sigh before speaking, "If needed, I will supply you with things for personal hygiene."

"Thank you," Asarirn said once more.

Glynda gave a quick bow before departing. Asarirn simply closed the door and walked back to his bed. He couldn't help but stare at his uniform. The thought of going to school kept recurring in his head.

After a while, the door opened, it was the girls. Yang and Ruby, both, wore only a towel over their bodies. Blake and Weiss had their bath robes on. Asarirn quickly darted his eyes away to avoid any 'unnecessary attention.' However, Ruby walked up to Asarirn without a care in the world.

"Here," Ruby handed Asarirn the shampoo bottle. Asarirn took the bottle without looking toward Ruby's direction. "Make sure you finish quickly," Ruby continued, "we want to get some breakfast as soon as we can.

Without saying anything, Asarirn took his thing as he headed out the room. The four girls watched Asarirn left the room. Once Asarirn was out of the room, everyone looked at Ruby. Ruby noticed them and was confused.

"What?"

"I don't know, if you were trying to be seductive or not," Weiss commented.

"What are you talking about?" Ruby sounded.

Yang pulled on her towel, showing Ruby what they meant. Ruby looked down at her towel and still was confused. After a moment, Ruby's face turned bright red, she now realized what they meant. She quickly covered her face with her hands in shame.

"Oh my god!" Ruby talked through her hand, "I didn't know."

Blake walked to Ruby and placed her hand gently on her back.

"Don't worry," Blake tried to comfort her, "It's only the first day with a guy. It only takes time in getting use to."

Ruby nodded in agreement as everyone began to dress for school.

-*RWBY*-

Asarirn entered the showers for the first time. The place was barren considering how early Asarirn got up. But, he preferred this way. So he doesn't have to encounter anyone while taking a shower.

Asarirn turned on the water and waited for a bit. Asarirn was hesitate to start undressing. However, in the end, Asarirn forced himself to do the deed. Asarirn placed his package on the ground before beginning to undress. Once done, Asarirn quickly hopped in the shower. Asarirn allowed the warm water to simply run over his body. Asarirn felt relax for the first time in a long time.

"How long since I had a decent shower?" Asarirn thought to himself, "Of course it would be four years ago…"

Asarirn shook the thought as he wanted to finish showering. Asarirn picked up the shampoo bottle and poured it contents onto his hair. Asarirn began to scrub his hair.

-*RWBY*-

The four girls tried to finish dressing for school. Blake was already dressed up, she simply passing the time reading a book. Ruby finally finished dressing by lastly adding her red cloak. Yang continued to dress up, and Weiss was brushing her hair in front of a mirror.

"You know what I noticed," Yang tried to strike a conversation.

"What?" Weiss asked as she was still brushing her hair.

"Arranis has his uniform, right?" Yang questioned.

"Yeah," Ruby agreed. "Why?"

"Last time I checked, guys' uniform doesn't have hoods on it."

Everyone stopped to consider Yang's words. It was true that guy's uniform doesn't have a hood. Everyone looked at each other and thought of the same thing.

"You know what that mean," Ruby told her team.

"Yeah! We are going to catch before he alter his uniform!" Yang sounded cheerful.

"Do you think that is necessary?" Weiss asked. "Besides, I don't think the school code allowed us to alter our uniforms."

"Oh come on, Weiss," Yang pleaded. "You know, he going to alter his uniform regardless of the school code. I know you want to know what is under that hood as much as we do."

Weiss thought about it for a moment before she craved, "Fine."

Everyone looked at each other and nodded to confirm their next action.

-*RWBY*-

Asarirn turned the handle to turn off the water. Asarirn stepped out of the shower with his towel wrapped around his waist. Asarirn casually walked toward a nearby sink and looked himself in the mirror. If only he didn't have his mark on his face, then he could pass off as a normal student. Well… more like passing a person that isn't a Weapon Master. Asarirn continued to stare at himself for a bit more before closing his eyes.

"My eyes open to the new world," Asarirn said under his breath.

Asarirn opened his eyes and looked back at the mirror. Despite having his eye color turned red, his black hair had grown out. The hair, itself, still had the messy look to it, but had grown down to halfway of his back. After staring at the mirror for a couple of seconds, Asarirn felt extremely dizzy. Asarirn looked at his hand and noticed it was shaking violently. Asarirn closed his eyes as he held his hand. With some intense breathing, he opened eyes again and looked back at the mirror. His eyes turned back to his normal brown color, also his hair shrank back to its normal size. In responds by his appearance, he looked back at his hand, his hand had stopped shaking. Asarirn angrily tapped the counter with his fist in result.

Asarirn decided to ignore the situation for now. He pulled out the contents from the package and began to dress for school.

After a bit, Asarirn had everything on except for the sports coat. He didn't have it on for a reason. Asarirn looked himself on the mirror. Asarirn looked at the marking on his face, he didn't want to wear the uniform but what choice does he have?

Asarirn looked at the neatly folded coat before grabbing it. As he grabbed the coat, the coat unfolded, revealing a hood. Asarirn was confuse at first. A closer inspection of the coat, the hood was sewed on. Asarirn held the hood to look closely, a small white card fell out. Asarirn noticed the card and picked it up. The card read:

"I took the liberty to have your uniform made with a hood. You don't have to worry about concealing your face."

-Ozpin

Asarirn smiled as he read the card. He was pleased to know Ozpin would support him. After finish reading, Asarirn held up the card. The card was engulfed by a flash fire before turning into ashes. Asarirn put on the coat and adjusted accordingly. He tried to ensure the hood properly covered his face.

Once he was pleased by the result, Asarirn gathered his things and headed for the door. He doesn't know what to expect once he opened the door. Asarirn took a deep breath before opening the door. There, he was greeted by his teammates; Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.

As Asarirn opened the door, the girls looked at him with curiosity. But once they looked at his hood, their expression changed to an unpleasant look. Asarirn was confused by their looks, but decided to ignore them and headed for their room.

-*RWBY*-

Asarirn entered the room with his teammates following behind him.

"No fair," Ruby cried, she appeared in front of Asarirn instantly. "I don't think it's fair for you to have a hood with your uniform."

"Then what about your cloak?" Asarirn asked.

Ruby quickly looked over her shoulders, she had forgotten about his red cloak. She looked back at Asarirn. "Touché."

"When did you have the chance to add a hood?" Blake asked.

"I didn't," Asarirn declined, "it was like that when I got it."

Asarirn proceed to place his things on his bed.

"Stop," Weiss stopped Asarirn. Asarirn looked at her with confusion. Weiss pointed to the basket off to the side. Asarirn looked the basket. The basket had some of the girls' clothing in it. Asarirn looked back to Weiss, she still was pointing to the basket expecting Asarirn to do it. Asarirn forced himself to place his clothes in the basket.

"Don't worry, we usually have our clothes clean by the time classes are over," Yang reinsured.

"Well, now that out of the way, we can now get some breakfast," Ruby said as she headed for the door, her teammates followed behind and then Asarirn.

-*RWBY*-

Asarirn followed the four girls into the cafeteria. Asarirn noticed the room was fill with rows of table for students to sit upon.

"So you are wondering why we would come here early?" Ruby asked Asarirn. Asarirn didn't respond as he expected Ruby to continue on regardless. "We always come here early for fresh breakfast."

After they received their food, they occupied a place to sit on one of the tables. Asarirn sat at the end of the table, while Yang sat next him, then Ruby sat next Yang, Weiss sat next to Ruby, and then Blake sat next to Weiss.

After a bit, other students began to enter the cafeteria. Team JNPR approached the team with their food in hand.

"Hey, guys," Jaune greeted.

"Hey, Jaune," Ruby welcomed the team.

Asarirn watched as Team JNPR sat across the table in front of him. As they sat down, they couldn't help but stare at Team RWBY's new member.

"Hi, I'm Jaune Arc," Jaune introduced himself. Jaune extended his hand towards Asarirn. Everyone watched intensely at Asarirn and Jaune, like they expected things might not goes well.

"Arranis," Asarirn took Jaune's hand. "Arranis Shadow."

"This here is Pyrrha."

"Hello," Pyrrha greeted.

"The one next to her is Ren."

"Greetings."

"And the one at the end is Nora."

Nora only waved her hand excitedly.

Asarirn only waved at the rest of Jaune's teammates. They all have the impression that Asarirn is not much of a social person.

Ruby smiled by the sheer sight of this and thought of an idea. Ruby pulled her scroll.

"Can you take a picture of us?" Ruby said as she handed Pyrrha her scroll.

Pyrrha pointed the camera at the team. "Okay, say cheese," Pyrrha instructed. The girls huddled together for the picture. Yang quickly wrapped her arm around Asarirn and forced him to close in, like she felt like he would get away. After the flash of light, Pyrrha handed Ruby's scroll.

"I like it. Thank you, Pyrrha," Ruby smiled as she looked at the picture. Ruby fiddled on her scroll for a bit. "And there," Ruby finished. "I send the pictures to everyone."

"Sweet," Yang sounded pleased.

"Oh look we have here," everyone heard someone talked near them.

Everyone, except for Asarirn, looked toward the source of sound, they gave an unpleasant look when they realized who it was.

"What do you want, Cardin?" Pyrrha interrogated.

There stood Cardin Winchester behind Asarirn, Cardin had his uniform on also. With him was his three other teammates, people which we don't care about.

"Whoa, I just want to see the new guy for myself," Cardin explained. Cardin looked at Asarirn before asking, "So, why do you have a hood on?"

"Well it's obvious that I'm trying to hide my face," Asarirn jokingly explained.

"That's enough, Cardin!" Ruby commanded him.

"Or what!?" Cardin told her, he looked back to Asarirn. "I think it's best to see what's laid under his hood."

"I don't think that's a good idea," Asarirn replied.

"What are you going to do about it!?"

As Cardin reached Asarirn's hood, Asarirn slid out of his seat. In one single movement, Asarirn spun around as he grabbed Cardin by his arm with one hand, and then slammed his head against the table with the other hand.

One of Cardin's lackey decided to charge at Asarirn. Asarirn noticed his action and planned to interrupt him. Asarirn pulled Cardin off the table and tossed him to the charging person. Both of them collided and crashed onto the ground.

"Why you…" Cardin looked at Asarirn in anger.

Cardin quickly got up from the ground and tried to attack Asarirn. Cardin threw the first punch at Asarirn, but Asarirn simply moved out of the way. Cardin tried to punch Asarirn again, but again, Asarirn moved out of the way. The third attack, however, was when Asarirn made his move. As Cardin swung his fist at Asarirn, Asarirn moved out of the way and grabbed Cardin's arm. Using the momentum, Asarirn pulled Cardin's arm, forcing him to lean forward. With one motion, Asarirn kicked out Cardin's leg, flipping him in midair.

Asarirn instinctively jumped while Cardin was in the air. Asarirn quickly brought up his leg before kicking down over Cardin. Asarirn slammed Cardin down to the ground with a heavy impact.

The rest of Cardin's team tried to help him but stopped dead in their tracks as soon as they saw Asarirn walked next to Cardin. Cardin simply looked up to Asarirn. No matter how much he tried, Cardin can't see what lied beneath Asarirn's hood.

"Wow," Asarirn tried to sound surprise, "You were beaten by someone who don't have a weapon."

"I didn't have my weapon," Cardin tried to explain.

"Oh? Such a shame, huh?" Asarirn simply replied.

Cardin bared his teeth in anger. The rest of his team quickly rushed in and pulled Cardin away from Asarirn.

"Come on, let's get out of here," one of the guys said to Cardin as the three guys stood Cardin up.

Asarirn watched as the four guys left the cafeteria. Cardin only looked back to give Asarirn a death glare.

Asarirn simply sat back down on his seat like nothing has happen. Everyone from the table looked at Asarirn in utter shock.

"You see, he had the right idea," Nora sounded impress.

"Do you think that's a bit excessive?" Weiss questioned Asarirn's motives. Asarirn shrugged in responds as he finished his breakfast.

"Maybe you shouldn't do that anymore," Ruby told him.

"As long they don't try to pull off my hood, then nothing will happen," Asarirn explained in a rather annoyed tone.

Everyone else looked at each with the thought of Asarirn's caution. Before they could think about more, the bell for the first class rang.

"Well, let us head for class together," Ruby sounded cheerful.

Everyone stood up and started to head out. As they head for the door, everyone noticed Headmaster Ozpin stood at the doorway. He constantly scanned the room in search for someone. Team JNPR walked pass him without anything happening. However for Team RWBY, the moment they approached the Headmaster, Ozpin held up his cane to stop Team RWBY from proceeding any further. They quickly looked at Ozpin with confusion.

"I'm going to borrow your new teammates for a bit," Ozpin explained himself. "We need to discuss about his classes."

"Okay, if you need him then its fine," Ruby agreed.

Asarirn stood there as he watched his teammates headed for class, leaving him with Ozpin. Sure, he did have plans to meet up with Ozpin to discuss about his classes. But something tells him that isn't the only reason for it.

"Stand next to me," Ozpin ordered. Asarirn stood next to Ozpin as he continued to monitor the other students. Asarirn watched as the other student walked pass Ozpin and him, giving Asarirn a curious look. The students would occasionally talk about Asarirn as they walk on by.

"What do think he would look like under his hood?" Asarirn heard a girl student asked her friend.

"He could be disfigure that's why he had the hood on," the other girl replied.

"Or he could be handsome, and he doesn't want to attract any attention."

They continued to stand there as the last of the student left the room. After a few minutes, the room was dead silent.

"How are you adjusting to your new team, Asarirn?" Ozpin used Asarirn's true name.

"We all have to adjust, since this is a first time that a guy is living with them."

"Glad to hear that," Ozpin sounded please. Ozpin reached in his pocket and produced a piece of paper. "Here," Ozpin handed Asarirn the piece of paper.

"What is this?" Asarirn grabbed the paper.

"It's your class schedule. Use it if you need to."

"What is the purpose of waiting until now to give me the schedule?"

"I want to have the chance to give you a tour of this school," Ozpin explained to Asarirn, "Since you didn't have to chance to when you first arrived here. Besides, you could say this is a great opportunity to take break from some paperwork."

The Headmaster smiled at Asarirn as he began to depart from the cafeteria. Asarirn quickly followed Ozpin as they began the tour of the school.

-*RWBY*-

After a bit of touring the school, going from the cafeteria to the auditorium, Asarirn had a better understanding of the school buildings. Soon after passing a varieties of classroom, Ozpin decided to stop in the middle of the hallway. Asarirn also stopped as he expected Ozpin wanted to talk about something.

"There is something I wanted to talk to you about," Ozpin spoke.

"Is it something to do with those guys that attacked me the day before?" Asarirn asked.

"Many question has raised after your entrance exam," Ozpin explained, he looked at Asarirn intensely, "Why did those guys attacked you, Asarirn?"

"Even I don't know the answer to that."

"Hmm… Are you sure?"

Asarirn only nodded in respond to give the impression that even Asarirn doesn't know the answer to Ozpin's questions.

"Very well," Ozpin finished.

Ozpin began to walk down the hallway, Asarirn forced himself to follow him.

"I have been wondering," Asarirn started to speak.

"Yes?"

"As your spy, when is my first assignment going to be?"

"Hopefully soon," Ozpin replied. "We just need to get the necessary information from our source."

"Who's the source?"

"I can't tell to you that."

Before Asarirn could ask any more questions, Ozpin stopped in front of a door to a classroom.

"I will contact you when we have the information we need," Ozpin told Asarirn. Ozpin gestured to the door. "This is the class you suppose to have right now. Now, let us present ourselves to the class."

Ozpin opened the door and gestured Asarirn to enter. Inside, Professor Port stood in front of the students, telling another one of his stories. Port stopped as Ozpin and Asarirn entered the classroom.

"Professor Ozpin," Professor Port greeted. "It's an honor to have you here. What can I do for you?"

"I'm here to drop off your student," Ozpin explained.

"Splendid," Professor Port was pleased to hear this. "Another student's mind to fill it with knowledge. "

"I shall take my leave, have a nice day," Ozpin departed, leaving Asarirn by himself.

"What do you call yourself, young man?" Port asked.

"Arranis Shadow."

"Well Mr. Shadow, you may take your seat."

Asarirn was about to head for a random direction but someone called out to him.

"Arranis!" Asarirn heard someone called out to him. Asarirn looked toward the source, Ruby was the one calling out to him. Ruby waved frantically to grab Asarirn's attention. Asarirn also noticed the rest of the team was also with her.

Asarirn approached the team without saying anything. The girls quickly made room for Asarirn to sit.

"Now Mr. Shadow," Port tried to grab Asarirn's attention. "The purpose of this class is to teach student of Beacon a better understanding of Grimm and know how to deal with it."

Asarirn sat in his seat as Professor Port began to rant on about his great adventures. At that very moment when Asarirn sat in seat listening to the lecture, was when he realized this is what he wanted.

-*RWBY*-

The bell rang, indicating the classes had ended. Asarirn thought about, how this class wasn't so bad to handle. Asarirn noticed Ruby's expression told him she looked rather happy by Asarirn's presence. Asarirn found that a bit annoying.

As they left the classroom, Ruby decided to say something.

"It's convenient to have the same class together," Ruby stated.

Asarirn stopped in the middle of the hallway before speaking, "I guess you can call it fate then."

Asarirn could only noticed many student walked pass him with talks about him.

"Look, it's true, he does have a hood," said one student.

"Wow," said the other students.

Asarirn could only let a sigh as he thought how annoying this was going to be.

"You know you will never hear the end of it," Blake stated.

"It's true," Yang agreed. "Anyway. What are your classes, Arranis?"

Asarirn pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and handed to Ruby. Ruby took the paper and began reading. Everyone waited for her to finish.

She gave a smile before speaking, "Yay, you got the same classes with us!"

"Sweet," Yang said. "It means we have another homework buddy."

Asarirn stood there, staring at the girls. He should felt slightly annoyed to be in the classes as them. But, instead he felt rather happy to be with them for some reason. He couldn't figure out why but choose to ignore it for the time being.

"We should head to class then," Asarirn said as he started to head the next class.

However, the moment Asarirn took one step, he bumped into someone. Asarirn quickly looked at the person he had ran into. The person turned out to be a guy with silver hair, it was Mercury. Also, there was a girl with him, she had red eyes with green hair. Of course it would be Emerald. The thing Asarirn found confusing was their black uniform, it wasn't the same one as Beacon's.

"Whoa there, you should watch where you going," Mercury said without a care.

"Sorry," Asarirn apologized.

Mercury took one look at Asarirn before realizing, "Oh, you must the transfer student that everyone has been talking about."

"I guess so."

"Listen, you should watch yourself," Mercury warned him, "People, here, are interested what laid beneath that hood of yours."

Asarirn watched as the two student left for their classes. Asarirn felt something odd from them but doesn't want to jump on anything conclusion.

"What's wrong?" Ruby asked.

"Who were they?" Asarirn asked as he continued to watch them left his sight.

"They're visiting students from Haven," Weiss explained. "Why?"

Asarirn looked at the girls. "Nothing," Asarirn could only say, "Well, we should head for the next class."

-*RWBY*-

Team RWBY entered their next class and sat in their seat. As the class started to settle down, the professor quickly rushed into the room. Professor Oobleck stood in front of his class with his thermos in hand.

"I hope you enjoyed your break from school," Oobleck greeted his class. "Now, we can return to what's important, learning." Oobleck noticed Asarin from the distance. "You there!" Professor Oobleck pointed at Asarirn, Asarirn flinched by his sudden outburst. "I don't recognize you. What is your name?"

Asarirn quickly stood up, presenting himself to the class.

"My name is Arranis Shadow."

"Ah, yes, you must the new student everyone been talking about. I will give you run down of this class. The purpose of this class is to teach students the history of this world and the value of it. Now Mr. Shadow, what can you tell me about history?"

"Things couldn't happen right now without what happened in the past," Asarirn answered.

"Good answer," Oobleck responded. "I look at this way: In history there are mistakes. By learning those mistakes, we can avoid that very mistake now or later."

Asarirn took the professor's words into consideration.

"Okay, Mr. Shadow," Oobleck continued. "For me, as a professor, I must know how much you learn. Can you tell me, what was the cause of the Great War?"

Asarirn stood there speechless, he couldn't possibly know the answer to the professor's question.

"I don't have the answer to that question," Asarirn replied. He could only hear the other students began to talk about him.

"At least you were honest," Oobleck responded, "Very well, I will assign you a homework for you to understand and for you to get caught up in this class. You will write a 10-page paper from the beginning of textbook to where we are now. The paper is due by the next class."

No one could tell what Asarirn's expression was during that time. For sure, Asarirn was surprised by the sudden assignment.

"Now," Oobleck continued, "Take your seat, I will began today's lesson."

Asarirn sat down as Professor Oobleck began his lesson plan. Asarirn hated the thought of doing a lengthy homework, but that's what he deserved.

"Ouch," Asarirn heard Yang commented, "I feel bad for you."

Asarirn rested his head on his fist as the lesson continued.

-*RWBY*-

Later that night in Team RWBY's room, Asarirn sat in one of the desk in the room, working on the homework he has been given earlier. Asarirn had been writing for less than one hour. While for the rest of the team, Blake was reading a book on her bed, Yang was looking at random stuff on her scroll, Ruby was on her bed reading a weapons magazine, and Weiss occupied the other desk for her own study session.

After a moment, Asarirn stopped writing. Asarirn placed the piece of paper in the book before closing the book. Asarirn stood up and proceed to head for his bed. Weiss watched Asarirn with a confused look as he laid on his bed.

"What are you doing, Arranis?" Weiss asked.

"Resting."

"Don't you have homework from Oobleck's to do?"

Asarirn simply rolled onto his side as if he wanted some sleep. "I already finished it," Asarirn replied.

"What!?" Weiss sounded surprise. Weiss quickly headed for the other desk that had Asarirn's homework. "May I?" Weiss asked. Asarirn simply made a hand gestured, signaling her to proceed on.

Weiss grabbed the stack of paper that were inside the books. At the same time, Ruby hopped from her bed and joined Weiss by watching over her shoulder. After a bit, Weiss stopped reading. She looked up in shock.

"These are right," Weiss managed to say.

"You're pretty fast to finish homework," Yang stated. "I could say, we could use someone like you."

"You are really something, Arranis, just like your giant blade," Ruby commented.

"Yeah, that blade isn't that very heavy," Yang declared.

"Really?" Ruby questioned. Ruby noticed the massive blade by Asarirn's bed. She slowly moved toward the massive blade and grasped its handle. It wasn't until Ruby grabbed the handle of the blade that Asarirn noticed Ruby's intentions.

"Wait," as Asarirn tried to stop Ruby, but it was too late.

Ruby picked up the blade. Immediately, the blade snapped in half. Everyone looked at Ruby in total shock. Ruby quickly turned her attention to Asarirn. She couldn't tell Asarirn, whether or not, if he's mad because of the hood.

"I didn't do it," Ruby could only managed to say. During that time, Ruby slowly placed the handle on the ground and back away slowly.

Now, everyone looked at Asarirn for his reaction. Asarirn only sighed in frustration as he stood from his bed. Asarirn grabbed the handle and held it out to his side. After a moment, both pieces began to glow in a bright light. Instantly, the blade reformed back into the massive blade. Everyone was astonish by Asarirn's actions. Then, the blade transformed back into its original form; Rockslide.

"Looks like you are done," Asarirn muttered under his breath.

"Isn't that…" Weiss couldn't finished her word, being mesmerized by the blade. She quickly walked up to Asarirn and grabbed by the arm which had the blade. She inspected the blade closely before looking at Asarirn. "Where did you get that Mystical Blade?"

Asarirn made the blade disappeared. "I got it from that Terra guy during that fight."

"But…" Weiss tried to ask more but Asarirn held up his hand to stop her.

"It is better if you don't know because you won't understand. If possible, can you keep, me having the Mystical Blade, a secret? I can't afford to draw in unwanted attention. If that's all right with you all."

"Okay, if you insist," Ruby talked for her team. "I don't want people to make you feel uncomfortable."

"Thank you," Asarirn said, "Maybe one day, I will tell you all everything."

"I will hope for that day to come," Weiss commented.

Asarirn was pleased to hear from them. As he looked out the window of their room, Asarirn couldn't help but have a bad feeling.

-*RWBY*-

Later that night in another building, Mercury was casually sitting on a chair, waiting. Emerald was going through her scroll, trying to find some useful information. And as for Cinder, she was in deep thought about something. The silent continued to engulf the room until Cinder decided to break the silent.

"So," Cinder began to talk, "I heard there was a new transfer student."

"Yes," Emerald confirmed, "there is a new student in this school."

"Tell me more about the new student."

"The new student name is Arranis Shadow," Emerald began to explain, "He is the new addition to Team RWBY. But, there is a problem."

"What is it?"

"Arranis' origins is currently unknown. He doesn't have any other record beside his school record, like he never existed until now. Even his profile," Emerald showed the Cinder the screen, "doesn't have his face."

"You know what I think?" Mercury decided to ask.

"What?" Cinder replied.

"Could this guy be the same person that Blaze talked about earlier?"

"That's is a possibility. What is Blaze current status?"

"He is currently lounging around back at the hideout," Emerald explained. "He haven't shown any sign of progress ever since he arrived."

Cinder didn't say anything as she began to be in deep thought once more. Even both, Emerald and Mercury, found that a bit concerning.

"What's wrong?" Emerald decided to ask.

"Right now," Cinder began to explain, "Blaze is our only ticket for information for things we don't know. Besides, there is a matter that we can't ignore."

"Like?" Mercury asked.

"There are reports of a robed figure taking out groups of White Fang member from multiple hideout." Both Mercury and Emerald looked at each other in shock. "Every attack this guy made," Cinder continued, "left with no survivors."

"Could this guy be Arranis Shadow himself?" Mercury sounded concern.

"I can't say for sure," Cinder replied. "But in the meantime, we will watch the new student closely, see what we can learn from him. We can't have our plans delay because of this mishap."

"Don't worry," Mercury said with confidents, "We got this, we won't fail you."

Cinder smiled, knowing she could trust him. However, the matter have to be dealt with, sooner or later.

Author's Note: Well, here is another chapter done. After looking back at the older chapter, I decided that I might have to rework them, make them more appealing. I will get that done once I figure out how to update chapters. Thanks for reading.
