It was the first day of Autumn in the south-weastern corner of the north continant of the BishiWorld, well it was the first day of Autumn in a lot of places, but that isn't importanat. What is? A small patch of woodland that no longer changed it's landscape with the whims of the world, thanks to it's inhabitants. Life in the area had settled somewhat to the constant of those new inhabitants. Seibutsu, the animals, had moved into the woods. The people didn't particually pay attention to them and only one would pause at times when she saw something new that had moved into the woods. The half raised hand was no cause for concern, it held no ball that many had learned to avoid.
When she exited the house Demoonica noticed another new critter that had moved into Darkmoon Wood. She raised her left arm, pointing the scanner on her BishiGear at the Seibutsu who'd wondered close to the house. The BishiGear came equiped with a glossery of every Bishounen, Bishoujo, and Seibutsu on BishiWorld, and she could look the Sebutsu up manully, but it was simply faster to scan them and have the info pop up on screen in seconds. Besides, some Seibutsu while looking small and harmless had turned out to be difficult pests. However if the data about to come up on the screen matched what her eyes told her, this was a Seibutsu she'd not have to worry about. Indeed it would be a good sign.
The screens changed just then, the top showing a picture of the Seibutsu and the bottom bringing up basic information. Demoonica smiled. A Bambi had moved into the woods. The small deer spooked when she dropped her arm and moved off the porch, bouning back into the forest and out of sight. All too soon it would be too cold to dry the laundry on a line, but for now she still had some warm days left. Life was moving slower. Life was moving faster. Some days Demoonica wasn't sure which it was.

"Yugi?" Demoonica said when she found the Bishounen. "There's a delivery man with a very large box adressed to you, he's at the door."
Yugi perked up. "Back in a minute guys!" He dashed out of the room, barely taking time to make sure his cards were face down on the table.
"Hm? What's the little light up to?" Bakura asked Yami.
"Obviously he's gone to sign for his delivery."
Bakura snorted. "And that is?"
"Oh, you'll see." Yami answered with a smile. "Demoonica, are you free right now?"
Demoonica moved and took Yugi's seat next to Yami. "Yeah, just hung up the laundry, what's up?"
Yami glanced at Bakura. "Play Yugi's turn... we're about to win anyway-"
"You are not!" Bakura interupted.
"Yes we are." Yami said calmly. Then he spoke to Demoonica. "Summon the monster Yugi drew before he rushed out... yes that one." As Demoonica placed the card on the field Bakura cursed.
"Damn it, of all the luck." He glanced over to Yami. "You are going to pay for this."
"Demoonica."
Demoonica giggled. "Sorry 'Kura. I attack, wiping out your remaining life points and end my turn."
Bakura growled. "Malik, tell me you have a way-"
Malik shook his head. "I've got nothing."
"My turn!" Yami sounded way to happy saying that and drew a card from the top of his deck. "Now, I scarifice the monster Demoonica summoned-"
"Oh for the love of Ra, I give! Do you really need to summon somthing big? I only have 100 LP left!"
"I'm sorry, Malik." Demoonica offered.
Malik shook his head. "They've been leading us on the whole game."
"Only after the point I summoned Neo the Magic Swordsman."
"That was ten rounds ago!" Bakura growled.
"Hey... hey! Can I get a hand in here!" Yugi called through the house. He appered in the doorway, a large cardboard box in his arms. He dropped it heaviely on the floor next to the coffee table. "There are several more."
"I'll help you." Yami stood.
"I'll pick up the cards." Demoonica said while clearing Yugi's side of the game field.
"If you would?" Yami said as he followed his brother out of the room.
"Sure!" Demoonica called after him.
The table was cleared, Yugi and Yami's decks placed neatly on one corner next to each other, Bakura and Malik pocketing their own. Yami appeared long enough to deposit another box into the living room floor. They could hear Yugi heading upstairs, likely with another. Several boxes later the door was closed and two sets of foot falls headed upstairs, then returned together. "Done!" Yugi announced as he reentered the living room. "Oh, wow. Set didn't cut any corners, did he?" He asked, mostly to himself, when he saw the boxes on the floor.
"What's all this now?" Bakura asked.
"Cards!" Yugi nearly chirped. "I had Set exchange my pay into card packs and send me them from our shop's overstock."
"Cards." Bakura repeated eyeing the boxes.
"That... is a lot of cards." Malik said.
"I'll say, several months of back pay. Might as well drop it into the shop, cause, you know, no personal bills... and well... yeah." Yugi bit his lip. "I really didn't think it would be this many." Then he smiled gleefully. "Let's unpack them!"
"Yugi, there's at least a box worth each of fifteen different boosters sets here." Yami said as they finished sorting the booster boxes out of the cardboard shipping boxes.
"Yeah, we had some really old unsold stuff in the back from the early Series' so I told Set to start with the oldest stuff and work forward until he hit the cash limit."
"Bakura, no palming packs." Demoonica said, Yami, Yugi and Malik looked over at Bakura.
"Hell." Bakura tossed the card pack back into the pile. "One little 'Legacy of Darkness' pack goes missing, he was really going to notice."
"That reminds me." Yami spoke up. "You have quite the collection of 'The Lost Millennium' booster packs in your room, Bakura. Where ever did you BUY those?" Bakura twitched.
"Me first!" Yugi said, grabbing a pack of 'Legends of Blue Eyes White Dragon' and tearing it open. "Monster Reborn, Power of Kaishin, Dark Energy, Beast Fangs, Sogen, Spirit of the Harp, Flame Ghost, Enchanting Mermaid, and King Fog."
"Wow, sucks." Bakura said while making a face.
Yugi shrugged. "It's the first pack, we have tons to go."
"Demoonica, do you have any plastic storage containers? This will quickly become a mess if we start just stacking the cards everywhere."
"Kitchen." Demoonica stood. "Kagome will be comeing to get me for dinner preperations anyway, be back in a bit." She disappered into the kitchen.
"Ha! Take that you two, I pulled a Tri-Horned Dragon in my first pack." Bakura gloated.
"Still belongs to me." Yugi pointed out.
"Oh, bother." Laughter filled the room. "What else is in this pack? King Fog-nothing, nothing, nothing... bah, take your ruddy cards, Mouto."
"Six copies of Tri-Horned Dragon later and I finally pull a Blue-Eyes White Dragon, I was starting to think Kaiba had them removed from production runs."
"Aren't Secret Rare's supose to you know, be rare?" Malik asked.
"The Blue-Eyes is an Ultra Rare."
"I never could figure out rarity, still no one needs six of these." Yami said looking at the handful of Tri-Horns. "We should think about shipping a box of the better finds back to the store, for the display case."
"Already ahead of you, Yami." Yugi said, marker in one hand and one of the storage containers Demoonica had brought them in the other. On the lid was scrawled 'Shop'.
"Ah, so you have."

Demoonica woke that night to darkness and the sensation she needed to go walk. She blinked at the clock unable to focus well enough for the time to clear, still she picked up her glasses and put them on while sitting up. She knew this feeling. She had hoped she wouldn't feel it ever again. Mind focused on her destination, she padded softly out of the room.
Yami woke in the middle of the night, not an uncommon event. He'd somehow developed the talent for knowing when his trainer had awoken and it woke him at the same time. It happend often enough, Damia woke Demoonica and in turn that woke him. He turned over in bed, drifting off again already. It continued to tickle at the back of his mind though until he realized Demoonica was crossing over the threshold between the house and the pocket dimention space. What was she doing coming here in the middle of the night? Yami got out of bed.
Demoonica made her way through the house and into the pocket dimention quickly, her head was starting to hurt and her stumoc rolled uncomfortably. Neither were her own feelings though, she knew that. 'Oh... Hiead... I though we'd done some good...' Her legs buckled under her just as she made it to the door to his room, a pair of strong arms caught her. She looked up, tears in her eyes. "Yami?"
The Sama staged Bishounen nodded and held his hand for her to take, helping her gently to her feet. "I should have known what would bring you here at such a time in the night." He opened the door to Hiead's room. They took in the sight of the room filled with the blue glow Hiead's EX reaction generated. "Are you sure about this?"
"It will be easier with you along."
"It will be as safe as it could be, with me along." Yami added. "That isn't very much to offer I'm afraid."
Demoonica nodded and walked into the room, she could feel Hiead's out of control EX spike down their connection, it pulled her towards him. Yami's hand landed on her shoulder and she jumped.
"I can not say that I understand," he said as she again looked at him. Yami brushed the tears from her eyes. "Allow me to lead you." Demoonica found herself lifted up and Yami settled them onto the bed, some way he'd placed them each to one side of Hiead, nestled next to the headboard. Yami only held onto her hand and with one last nod he placed both upon the shining blue of Hiead's hair. "Let us begin." The room fell silent as Yami fell into his own mind-scape, then through the bond brought Demoonica gently into her own and finally moved both through Demoonica's bond with Hiead into the other's mind.
