After what seems to be a long school day, the girls of Team RWBY eventually returned to their room, really hoping their missing hooded teammate come back.

The moment, they entered their room, the girls realized Asarirn was nowhere to be seen. Each of the girls have a disappointed look to a certain degree. Out of all the girls, Ruby had the most sadden look on her face, depressing you could say. The rest of the team, however, noticed Ruby's behavior but dared not to say anything. Well… expect for Weiss of course.

"I don't know why you should be depress about Arranis," Weiss said, "It is not like he would come anytime soon."

"Oh come on, Weiss," Yang quickly denied, "Maybe he still hung up in Ozpin's office.

"It has been over seven hours since Headmaster Ozpin send that message, "Blake stated, "I doubt he would still be talking with Ozpin."

Weiss, Blake and Yang looked over towards Ruby. She still had the depress look on her face. Yang decided to walk over to Ruby in order to try to comfort her.

"What's wrong, sis," Yang said as she wrapped her arms around Ruby, "Tell your big sister what is wrong."

"It felt like, as a leader, I have to be there for my team if anything happens," Ruby began to explain. "It just, during yesterday's event, there was nothing I could have done to comfort Arranis when his sword was destroy. I couldn't say anything because I was stunned on what happened. Based on what I saw, it felt like no one was there for him when something happened. I don't know, maybe if I would of said something, he might be here."

"Oh stop with your complaining," Weiss told him.

Ruby was shock to hear that from Weiss.

"But… Weiss," Yang tried to say something.

"No," Weiss quickly denied as she walked up to Ruby. She began poking at Ruby's chest as she began her talk. "Yes, as a leader, you need to make sure everyone are okay. Just because you made one slip up, doesn't mean you should spend the whole day mopping about it."

"Then what I should do?" Ruby asked shyly.

"I don't know," Weiss responded. "You're the leader, you tell me. If you're so worried about Arranis, then do something about it. Anything that doesn't have to be being depress. I have tell you this, if someone has a problem, then we all share the problem. That is what makes us a team.

Ruby couldn't help but smiled by Weiss' words of encouragement. Ruby quickly wiped the tears she had in her eyes.

"Thank you, Weiss…" Ruby said. She quickly pounced on Weiss as Ruby hugged her tightly. "YOU DO CARE!"

Weiss struggled to break free. "Let me go!"

Yang couldn't help but smiled by Ruby's happy mood. "What should we do then?" Yang asked the team.

"I should say Arranis was here earlier today," Blake stated.

Everyone immediately froze upon hearing Blake's statement. They quickly looked over to Blake.

"Wait what?" Ruby sounded confuse.

"What makes you say that?" Weiss asked.

Blake didn't say anything, but instead pointed toward the foot of Asarirn's bed. Everyone looked over towards Asarirn's bag that rested on the ground. The only difference was there was a piece of paper was hanging out of the bag. As they have recalled earlier today, that piece of paper wasn't there hanging before they left this morning. That could mean Asarirn was here while the girls was in their classes.

Blake couldn't help but walked over to Asarirn's bag and opened it. Blake began to search through the bag.

"Do you think it's a good idea to go through Arranis' bag?" Ruby sounded concern.

"It might give us a clue about his whereabouts," Blake claimed.

Blake continued to search through the bag. She pulled different colored potions out of the bag, examined the contents before placing them back in the bag.

"What are those?" Ruby said as she picked up a potion from the bag.

"I don't know, but I can say they do some weird stuff," Yang claimed.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, remember that time when Arranis and I fought and broke his arm afterwards," Yang explained. Everyone nodded. "I watched him drank the pink liquid and took off his cast. Before I knew it, his arm was perfectly fine."

"Oh yeah," Ruby suddenly remembered, "I remember when you two caught up and Weiss freaked out."

"Well yeah," Weiss said, "What do you expect? He broke his arm while fighting Yang. Arranis had a cast on, on that day. Later that day, he shown up without a cast and insisted he was fine. Of course I would complain about it."

"Anyway," Ruby tried to everyone back on track, "there are different colors potions. What do they do?" Yang simply shrugged as she doesn't know the answer.

Yang finally decided to pull out the piece of paper, which was still hanging out of the bag. The piece of paper turned to be a large paper, the moment Yang pulled out the paper. The large paper had a large magic circle in the middle of the paper and a smaller magic circle off to the side. Everyone looked at the large paper as they tried to figure out what it is.

"What is it exactly?" Ruby stared at the paper in Yang's hands.

"I have no idea," Yang sounded unsure.

"Well, whatever it is, there are other like it in the bag," Blake stated.

"What can you tell me about this, Weiss?" Yang asked as she held up the large paper to Weiss.

Weiss gave a confuse look and felt insulted. "What makes you think I would know anything about it?"

"Don't you and Arranis use the same thing?"

"I use glyphs," Weiss stated, "Arranis uses something entirely different."

"So, what's difference then?" Yang sounded like she was still unsure.

Weiss pitched the bridge of her nose as she started to doubt her blonde teammates' intellect. "Arranis almost uses the same style of magic as Ms. Goodwitch," Weiss calmly stated.

"Whatever this is," Blake decided to interrupt, "it could tell us more about Arranis or possibly where he had gone to."

"But the problem is, right now, we have no idea what this magic circles means. This is pretty much another dead end."

At this point, everyone stopped what they were doing to rethink their situation. The silent began to engulf the room as everyone tried to think of something.

"What about his broken blade?" Ruby decided to throw something out there.

"What about it?" Yang questioned.

"I don't know, maybe we can figure out what the writing said."

"I doubt any of us could read what it said," Yang stated.

By Ruby's statement, Weiss widen her eyes as she had figured something out. Everyone else noticed her look on her face and just waited for her to say something. Weiss quickly approached Ruby without warning.

"Where is the broken sword?" Weiss quickly asked like she was in a rush.

"I, uh," Ruby was completely caught off guard by Weiss' question.

"Where is it?!" Weiss pleaded again.

"I-it should be over at the shelf," Ruby finally answered.

Without saying anything, Weiss rushed over to the shelf. There was an open box rested on top of the shelf. Inside the box are the remains of Asarirn's blade. All the pieces that was gathered were placed into that box, with the handle of the weapon rested on top.

Everyone watched as Weiss took the box with the shattered blade and headed over to the nearest desk. Next, Weiss poured the contents of the box onto the table; the pieces of the blade shattered around the table. Weiss began to place the pieces back together like a jigsaw puzzle, trying not to cut her fingers in the process.

The rest of the girls decided to surround Weiss and watched her piece the blade back together. After a bit, Weiss stopped. She had only the part of the blade with the inscription placed back together.

"Okay, you got the writings put together," Yang stated, "But we still can't read the writing. What are you planning do with it now?"

"Well," Weiss sounded confident with her plan, "I guess I didn't tell any of you," Weiss immediately pulled out her scroll, "but I downloaded a feature for my scroll that scans any kind of writings and tells me what kind of language."

Everyone immediately had excited look on their faces as they might find the answers they were looking for.

"Now," Weiss continued, "all I have to do is scan the writing and it's going to compare it to all the known modern languages." Weiss held up her scroll over the writing. A red line ran across the writhing as it was being scan. The red line disappeared as a window popped up with the words said, 'Now Scanning for matches.' "Now watch as my scroll will tell me what language is it and what the writing could tell us."

Within seconds, another window popped up with, 'Scan Complete.' The thing that stunned Weiss was the result of it 'No matches found.' Everyone else saw the result and was confuse also. Everyone with their hopes up has been shot down.

"I should have known that would have be too easy," Ruby stated.

"Maybe it was just for looks," Yang claimed.

"I just don't understand," Weiss still was confuse, "it should told us what the writing said."

Blake didn't say anything as she was in deep thought. It only took Blake a moment to figure out a solution.

"Wait," Blake quickly stopped everyone. "Weiss you said, the program scan the writing and compare it to known modern languages."

"Yeah," Weiss confirmed, "Why?"

"Can you change it, so it can compare to ancient languages?" Blake asked.

"Ancient?" Ruby questioned.

"Any languages that are old or no one uses anymore."

Weiss widen her eyes as it brought a tiny bit of hope. "I can, but it going to be awhile before we can a result."

"It is the only lead we have for now," Blake stated.

Weiss took a moment to change the settings of the program. Once she was done, Weiss rescanned the writing on the blade and began the process of comparing the writing.

"So, what do we do now since we have to wait for the scan to be completed?" Yang decided to ask.

"Simple," Ruby answered, "We'll just have to wait."

Everyone immediately gave Ruby surprised looks.

"What do you mean 'wait'?"

"It feels like we have to give him some space for now," Ruby explained, "If he doesn't come back, then we have no choice but to find him ourselves. We will tell him, there is nothing to be afraid and we'll understand what he has to say. So our plan right now, if he doesn't come by tonight, then we will go and find him first thing in the morning. So who's with me?!" Ruby threw her hand in the air and hoped everyone else will followed.

"We have classes in the morning," Weiss stated.

"Then… We will find Arranis right after classes," Ruby quickly corrected herself.

Yang and Blake smiled to each other as they raised their hands.

"I don't think this is going to end well," Weiss stated, "but, since we are going to do this as a team, I guess I have no choice."

Weiss raised her hand as she agreed.

"And now we play the waiting game."

-*RWBY*-

Later that night as everyone should be asleep at this point, Asarirn sat on the rooftop of the dorm in the moonlight. Asarirn had his hand together as he mediated, focusing his mind. The reason, Asarirn decided to stay within the school ground, was Asarirn believed it is safer to be at the school than the city, where all enemies were at.

As Asarirn was in deep thought in his mediation, there was something that was annoying him greatly. Even though, he was trained to ignore the things that are distracting. But as always, that wasn't Asarirn's case.

Dark Asarirn stood next to him, staring down on him as Asarirn mediated. Dark Asarirn had this consent smile, which annoyed Asarirn this entire time. Dark Asarirn suddenly appeared when Asarirn started to mediate, but didn't say anything this whole time. Asarirn tried to ignore him, which isn't going so well. Hell, even the hood wasn't working either as Asarirn knew he was right there.

"Why are staring at me this whole time?" Asarirn finally said something.

"What? Am I not allowed to watch you focusing your mind?" Dark Asarirn asked.

"Coming from you, no," Asarirn answered harshly.

"Ouch, that hurts," Dark Asarirn was jokily offend.

Asarirn placed a hand on his face as he started to become irritated. "Seriously, where are you here?"

"Just why not?" Dark Asarirn's answer was still not clear. "Might as well spend some quality time with you before you 'attempt' to seal me away," Dark Asarirn explain as he made some air quotes with his hands.

Asarirn simply looked out from the rooftop towards the city lights of Vale. No matter what, this isn't his world. "I'm surprised you didn't appear when I was discussing with Ozpin," Asarirn stated.

Dark Asarirn responded with a menacingly smile. "I just wanted to see how the event unfolded between you two. Also," Dark Asarirn acted like he just remembered, "there was something I didn't understand from you."

"And what would that be?" Asarirn dared to ask.

"Why did you have to lie to Ozpin?"

"What are you talking about?" Asarirn sounded dumb.

Again, Dark Asarirn smiled as he found the whole thing entertaining, "If I recall correctly, and I quote: 'If you're going to ask: Why I was chosen to be a Weapon Master? For that, I don't have the answer to it.' Even though, you know fully well the reason why you were chosen to be a Weapon Master. So why lied?"

"I didn't want to give Ozpin too much information about what am I to the Nightlyis," Asarirn explained. He stared at his hand for a moment as he understand the power he possessed.

"Is that so?" Dark Asarirn questioned, "Well then. What are planning to do next?"

"Why bother asking? You know the answer to the question," Asarirn answered.

"Having one of your pawns from your so-call organization help you with sealing spell?" Dark Asarirn questioned. "What was the name again? The Silent Angels? That sounds like a child would come up with that name."

"Three is not a pawn of mine!" Asarirn raised his voice.

"Are you sure about that, Asarirn?" Dark Asarirn once again questioned. Asarirn didn't say anything to allow him to continue. "After what happened to that guild, I could say those two were left with nothing to lose. So, they decided to follow you without question."

"I swear if there was a way of killing you, I would not hesitate," Asarirn warned. "I created the organization for people can have a sense of peace. When people are needed the most, we are there to help them. I will ensure no one shall suffer as he did in the past."

"Yes, the question is: how would a leader that is in this world could possibly do for the people back in the other?"

Asarirn didn't responded to that question, but instead, Asarirn placed his hands together and resumed his mediation.

Dark Asarirn couldn't help but chuckled by Asarirn's action. "You must realize sooner or later, the path, you have chosen, could only leave people suffering by your actions."

Dark Asarirn ended the conversation by fading away, leaving Asarirn by himself once again. Asarirn ignored what Dark Asarirn had said to him. But no matter what, the thought lingered in his mind. Asarirn had to remain himself how troublesome Dark Asarirn could be, even back then. Asarirn mediated his mind in order to clear his mind from those thoughts.

But again, there was something that was going to interrupt his mediation.

The door that leads into the dorms opened as someone walked out of the door. The person that walked out of the door was Pyrrha Nikos herself.

Pyrrha Nikos walked out of the door. She immediately froze with a surprise look as she noticed the hooded student sat near the ledge. Upon first sight, she could tell he was mediating.

Asarirn simply looked back at Pyrrha as she was frozen in place. Asarirn casually stood up without saying.

"I didn't expect anyone to be on this rooftop at this time," Asarirn stated.

"Yes, sorry," Pyrrha apologized. "Usually, I would done some training with my team leader, Jaune, every night."

"Right," Asarirn sounded like he was uninterested. "Well, I should be heading off. I don't want to be in the way of your training."

Asarirn started to head for the door. At the same, Pyrrha realized this was her only chance since those two were alone. But, she has to do it before Jaune arrives.

"There is something I wish to speak with you about," Pyrrha tried to stop him.

Asarirn simply paused and peered back at Pyrrha. "What is it that you wish to talk about?" Asarirn simply asked.

Pyrrha immediately froze upon hearing Asarirn's responds. She was hesitant to say what's in her mind. In her mind, she can't just rudely accused someone of who might Pyrrha think he was. But, there were also a lot of evidences that supports her claim. The inscription on the blade, the high level of skill used during his fights. Finally, the last evidence that supports her claim would be the hood that conceals Asarirn's face.

Asarirn sighed after waiting for about a minute.

"I will let you be," Asarirn decided to say something. "You are wasting my time, if you're not going to say what you are going to say."

Asarirn turned himself to the door and began to walk away. Pyrrha can't let this chance to slip away. Who might know when there is another chance like this could ever happen again? She needs to act now.

"I know what you are," Pyrrha finally blurred out.

Asarirn took one step before completely stopping. He slowly turned to face the red hair warrior. Pyrrha had a somewhat scared look on her face, but quickly changed to a more confident and determine look.

"You know what am I?" Asarirn questioned.

Pyrrha gave a quick nod.

"So tell me," Asarirn continued, "What do you think I am?"

Pyrrha hesitated for a moment, but pushed herself to answer his question. "You're a Weapon Master," Pyrrha answered the question with confidence.

Asarirn immediately widen his eyes in surprise by Pyrrha's accusation. Even with sight pause, Pyrrha could tell Asarirn was caught off guard. Asarirn needed to throw her off the trail, if possible.

After a while, Asarirn responded with a chuckle. Pyrrha could only respond with a confuse look on her face.

"What makes you think I'm a so called Weapon Master?" Asarirn asked as he tried to play dumb.

"Well," Pyrrha began to speak, "I noticed your high level of sword play, the writings on your sword. And finally, I believed you wear your hood during your time here in Beacon is because you bared the mark of the Weapon Master on your face, and you tried to conceal it from everyone else.

Asarirn didn't say a word after hearing what Pyrrha had said. He could only narrowed his eyes as he believed his cover was blown.

"I don't think you got the right person," Asarirn tried to convince, but they both knew that was a lie.

"Then prove it to me," Pyrrha sounded a bit demanding, "Show me what you look like without the hood. If I'm wrong about what you look like, I will apologize for what I said."

Asarirn took a moment to think about his situation. Out of all the people of Beacon, Asarirn didn't expect for Pyrrha to find out of his secret. Asarirn thought about simply running away, but that would prove Pyrrha's point. He doesn't have a choice in this matter. However, Asarirn does have something up his sleeve that could help. So, he decided to go along with it.

Asarirn slowly moved one of his hands towards his hood. As soon as his hand was within reach, Asarirn grabbed the hood and pulled it off from his head. Asarirn's face was exposed to the moonlight and to Pyrrha. Asarirn simply stared at Pyrrha for her reaction.

The moment Asarirn exposed his face and Pyrrha saw the black marking on his face, Pyrrha couldn't believe it. She was captivated by the Asarirn's face.

"So tell me," Asarirn spoke, "When I showed my blade to you, were you able to read what was written on the blade?"

Pyrrha took a moment before snapping out of the trace. She answered the question by shaking her head. "No, I was not about to read what was written, but I can only recognize the writing."

It was silent between the two of them for a brief moment before Asarirn said something.

"Now then. Since you found out who am I," Asarirn continued, "What are you going to do now?"

Pyrrha simply stared at Asarirn for a moment before doing the unthinkable. Pyrrha kneeled before Asarirn with her head bow low.

"Please teach me," was the only thing Pyrrha said to Asarirn.

Asarirn was stunned by Pyrrha's action before realizing what she was going on about. Asarirn let out a sigh in responds.

"Stand up," Asarirn told Pyrrha, "You're making a fool of yourself."

Pyrrha gave a confuse look as she stood back up on her feet.

"I was showing you respect for who you are," Pyrrha explained.

"The way I was taught, if you kneel like that, it only show me you are easily to submit, which I don't think you do," Asarirn explained.

"Okay… then," Pyrrha sounded confuse, "Are you going teach me then?"

"No," Asarirn answered firmly.

Pyrrha looked distraught for a second. "I don't understand, why can't you train me?"

Asarirn slowly walked towards Pyrrha. "There are a couple of reasons why I can't teach you. One, I am far too young to train anyone. Secondly, I don't want to teach others what I know. And lastly," Asarirn stopped in front of Pyrrha, "you don't even know my family name."

"But, is it..."

"No," Asarirn answered before Pyrrha could finish.

"Then, what is it?" Pyrrha dared to ask.

Asarirn looked at Pyrrha without breaking eye contact. "My true name is Asarirn Nightlyis."

Pyrrha immediately widen her shock upon hearing his name. She was about to take a step back, but she held her ground. She stared at Asarirn for a bit. Pyrrha didn't expect out of all the Weapon Master, he didn't expect him to be a Nightlyis. However, that isn't going to stop her. Pyrrha decided to do something, not only to show she wasn't afraid, but also made Asarirn irritated. Pyrrha smiled.

"I couldn't ask for a finer master," Pyrrha stated.

Asarirn's face looked rather unimpressive.

"Then tell me," Asarirn spoke, "Why do you want me to teach you? Even though, you are a pretty skilled fighter yourself."

Pyrrha took a moment before giving an answer, "I have to protect someone close to me."

"Like everyone else in the world," Asarirn said jokingly. "We all have that one person who care so much for us to protect. Tell me, who is it that you want to protect."

Pyrrha was hesitant for a moment but forced herself to say in order to convince Asarirn.

"It's my teammate, Jaune," She spoke the name.

"Jaune," Asarirn repeated the name. "Jaune Arc, the leader of Team JNPR, if I recall correctly."

Pyrrha nodded.

"I would admit his style of fighting are questionable," Asarirn stated.

"That is why I am helping him by training him, how to properly use a sword," Pyrrha claimed.

"Are you in love with Jaune," Asarirn asked bluntly.

"What?!" Pyrrha sounded shock. "I-I'm not in love with him."

Asarirn leaned in close to Pyrrha until they were inches apart from their faces. Pyrrha felt extremely uncomfortable by his action. Asarirn simply stared at her for a few seconds.

Asarirn finally moved away before speaking, "You're lying, I can tell from your eyes."

I-uh I..." Pyrrha couldn't find the words to say.

Asarirn simply turned around and began walking towards the ledge and then stopped. "Nevertheless, I couldn't care less about the other people's relationship or personal interests with other people. However, if you want my honest opinion, it's better to let Jaune sink or swim."

"How could you say something like that to a fellow students?!" Pyrrha took offense to that. "That is why I have to protect him until he can do well off his own."

Asarirn turned around to Pyrrha with an uncaring look on his face.

"You just don't understand," Asarirn said, which forced Pyrrha to listen. "In order for Jaune to improve his skills, he must experience with real combat. If you simply protect him in a fight, not only you will deny Jaune the ability to improve, but hinder your fighting capabilities by wasting your time protecting than fighting."

Pyrrha looked devastated upon hearing the fact.

"Sure, training him is one way for him to get ready for real combat," Asarirn continued. "But the real question is how far the training can take him?"

"That is why I have be stronger," Pyrrha stated. "If I become a Weapon Master, I know for sure I can train him to be an amazing fighter. If I can do that, I don't have to worry about protecting him."

Asarirn turned around as he looked at the city of Vale from the distance. Asarirn took a moment to think about what she had said before sighing.

"My only question for you," Asarirn finally spoke, "is how far you are willing to go?"

"With what exactly?" Pyrrha wanted him to be more specific.

"With anything in general," Asarirn turned around.

"As far as I can, I am willing to give it my all."

"Then show me."

"What?" Pyrrha sounded confuse.

"Show me if you have what it takes to be a Weapon Master by fighting me now. If you manage to get a scratch on me, I will train you. But that doesn't mean I have to make it easy for you."

Pyrrha was stunned by what he had said. After a couple of seconds, she smiled and nodded as she acknowledge what he meant.

Pyrrha reached for her weapons; her sword and shield, and readied her stance. The only thing that was confusing Pyrrha was Asarirn. She tried to figure out if he has a weapon to use ever since the one he had was destroyed during his match against Cardin. He does have his knives he used during the match against Yang, but that would put Asarirn in a disadvantage against her. After a bit, Pyrrha's questions was answered as soon as Asarirn made a move.

Asarirn simply held out his hand to his side. After a second, Ice Weaver appeared in his hand. After that, Asarirn held up his blade with the blade pointed at Pyrrha as he readied his stance himself.

Pyrrha was shock to see the weapon appeared in his hand and what was the blade.

"A Mystical Blade, the perfect weapon for a Weapon Master," Pyrrha claimed. Asarirn simply responded with a sly smile. That only put a lot of pressure on Pyrrha, since she didn't anticipated him using a weapon that powerful. "May I ask where you had obtain sure a blade?"

"Let's start by answering the first one," Asarirn tried to keep things in the dark.

There the two stood before each other with their weapons ready. There was absolute complete silent. The next thing that is going to happen is whether or not Asarirn was going to train her.

The tension finally broke as Asarirn made the first move. Asarirn charged at Pyrrha with the blade still pointing at her, like he was going for a lunge. Pyrrha simply held her stance with her shield up as she waited.

As Asarirn was close, he lunged at Pyrrha. However, the blade slammed into the shield. Then, Pyrrha slapped the blade away with the shield to create an opening. The moment Pyrrha saw the opening, she used her sword and tried to make a cut on Asarirn. Since the challenge was for Pyrrha to put a scratch on Asarirn. However, the moment the sword came close to Asarirn, Asarirn vanished into thin air.

Pyrrha quickly moved eyes around in order to find her opponent. She immediately froze as soon as she felt a blade by the side of her neck. It wasn't long until she realized it was Asarirn who was stood behind Pyrrha with Ice Weaver pressed against her neck.

"May I ask if you're that fast or it was some sort of teleportation?" Pyrrha asked without making a single move.

"You could say it's a mix of both," Asarirn casually answered.

Pyrrha remained frozen in place as she tried to figure out what's going to happen now. Has she failed the test or what? At least now, she has a better understanding of what was Asarirn capable of. However, Asarirn had other plans.

"Now you should have a better understanding of the level of skill I possess," Asarirn stated as he moved the blade away from Pyrrha. Pyrrha quickly turned and jumped back away from Asarirn in order to create some distance between them. "Show me how far are you willing to go as I will not hold back against you."

Pyrrha watched as Asarirn held out his other hand. Another Ice Weaver appeared in Asarirn's left hand. Asarirn readied the two Mystical Blades.

Pyrrha was in shock upon seeing the second Ice Weaver. "There is no way there could be two Mystical Blades of the same kind," Pyrrha said under her breath. But the problem is she doesn't have time to question the two Ice Weaver as she knew Asarirn is going to make his move.

Without moving, Pyrrha watched as Asarirn vanished into thin air once again. In responds, Pyrrha rolled off to one side as she predicted Asarirn might do the same attack again. At the end of her roll, Pyrrha held up her shield as she believed that where he might strike next, which he did.

Asarirn appeared behind Pyrrha as he tried to slash at her with both of his blade, but she rolled out of the way before the blades could land. Asarirn quickly leaped at Pyrrha with both blades up before she could recover from the roll. Asarirn slashed down with both blades, but was intercepted by Pyrrha's shield. Pyrrha pushed up her shield to create the same opening from before. But Asarirn flipped himself over Pyrrha, essentially vaulting over her.

While in midair, Asarirn threw the left Ice Weaver at Pyrrha before he landed on the ground. Pyrrha quickly moved to the side to dodge the incoming spinning blade. The Ice Weaver impaled into the ground behind Pyrrha.

Pyrrha gone onto the offensive. Pyrrha held up her shield as she charged at the Weapon Master. However, the moment she began to charge at Asarirn, Asarirn vanished again.

Immediately, Pyrrha turned around with her shield held up. Asarirn had both of his Ice Weaver in his hand as he charged at Pyrrha. Asarirn struck with both blades onto the shied. The impact of the blades caused Pyrrha to stagger ever so slightly. For Asarirn, he wasn't going to let this chance slip. Asarirn performed a flurry of slashes with both blades, for each of the sound echoing when the blade and shield meet.

Pyrrha quickly try to find a way out of the struggle. She moved her sword behind her. The sword quickly shifted into her spear. Pyrrha, then, immediately tried to jab Asarirn's feet from underneath her shield. But, Asarirn moved his feet apart as the spear impaled in between. Pyrrha quickly swept with the spear in attempt knock Asarirn off his feet, but Asarirn flipped himself over the spear.

The moment Asarirn landed from the flip, Pyrrha threw her shield straight at Asarirn. Asarirn barely had any time to put up his blades. The shield crashed into the two blades, the power of the throw was enough to cause for Asarirn to stamper back a bit. The shield bounced back to Pyrrha, which she caught with ease. And then, Pyrrha hopped back to make some distance in between. She quickly shifted her spear into her marksman rifle. Immediately, she fired multiple rounds at Asarirn at this point.

Asarirn dashed from side to side, as he moved closer to Pyrrha, to dodge the incoming attacks, on occasion he would deflect the bullets with his blades, if needed.

The moment Asarirn was close enough, Pyrrha shifted into her spear and jabbed straight at Asarirn. Asarirn quickly formed a cross with both of his blades. Asarirn, then, used the blades as a way to move the spear and forced it into the ground.

Pyrrha quickly pulled the spear and shifted into her sword. She quickly held it up to block an incoming attack from Asarirn. The two weapons locked together until Asarirn forcibly break free of his blade.

Asarirn, using one blade, attacked with series slashes. Pyrrha returned the favor by slashing with her sword. The blades clashed one onto another. Over time, the speed of the attacks increased as sparks flew from all directions. The conflict ended as both weapons locked onto each other once again.

Asarirn quickly used his other Ice Weaver, he haven't used, and slashed at Pyrrha from the side. But, Pyrrha still had her shield and blocked the incoming attack. That made those two to lock together. Out of desperation, Asarirn swung one of his feet at Pyrrha. Pyrrha responded by swinging her leg to intercept Asarirn's kick.

The two stood together, holding back each other weapons.

"I will admit, your skills are quite formidable," Asarirn commented as he pushed against Pyrrha.

"Are you going to admit I am qualified to be train by you?" Pyrrha managed to ask.

Before Pyrrha could get an answer, Asarirn break free of the hold. With both blades, Asarirn slashed outward at Pyrrha. Pyrrha managed to hold up her shield in time to block, however, the force of the blades caused Pyrrha to slide back.

Pyrrha held up her shield as she was ready for Asarirn. Pyrrha started to believe she can hold out against a Weapon Master. What Pyrrha didn't know, Asarirn planned to end this in the next move.

Asarirn held up the two Ice Weavers as he readied himself. Pyrrha watched as the two blades transformed into a sword with a blade on each end of the handle. Asarirn quickly spun the two blades before Asarirn vanished.

You all believed he was going to reappear behind Pyrrha, right? Well, not this time. Asarirn didn't appeared behind Pyrrha, but instead he suddenly appeared in front of Pyrrha.

With both blades spinning, Asarirn attacked Pyrrha directly. Pyrrha had a hard blocking and/or deflecting Asarirn's attacks. Pyrrha ended the devastating attack by sweeping with one of her leg in hopes to knock him off his feet. Asarirn saw the attack and responded by jumping over Pyrrha.

While Asarirn was in midair, Pyrrha quickly acted by trying to upper slashes him in the air. Asarirn blocked the attack without putting any effort as he landed behind her.

Pyrrha quickly turned around and jumped back away from Asarirn. While jumping away with her shield held up, she shifted her sword into a rifle. Pyrrha landed on her feet and immediately fired multiple rounds at Asarirn. Asarirn quickly responded by spinning the blades and deflected the incoming fires.

The moment Asarirn saw a opening, he gave himself a spin before he threw both blades at Pyrrha. The spinning blades spun one over the other towards Pyrrha. Pyrrha saw this moment as an opportunity to end this herself.

Pyrrha leaped towards Asarirn and the two spinning blades. She managed to gracefully spin herself, while in the air, in between the two spinning blades. Pyrrha believed this was the end. She quickly held up her rifle as she was ready to end this.

However, the moment Pyrrha took aim with her rifle, Asarirn vanished from sight. It was at this moment, Pyrrha made a huge error. After thinking back during that moment, Pyrrha realized Asarirn doesn't simply teleport anywhere, but teleport to his blades.

In an instant, before Pyrrha could react, Asarirn suddenly appeared above Pyrrha as he grabbed the spinning blade that was above Pyrrha. Asarirn spun his body around as he was about to strike. Surely, Asarirn would attack with blade, but he decided to use a different attack. Pyrrha tried to spin around to block the next incoming, but Asarirn was faster.

Asarirn spun his body around, swung out his leg, and delivered a powerful kick to the gut. The force of the impact slammed Pyrrha to the ground. Pyrrha dropped her weapons as she rolled a bit to a complete stop.

In pure amazement, Pyrrha moved without showing any signs of injury. Immediately, Pyrrha started to reach for weapons as she wanted to continue to fight. But, Pyrrha stopped dead in her tracks as soon as she felt a cold blade pressed against her neck. Pyrrha slowly moved her head up to find Asarirn with his Ice Weaver in normal form. The only thing that surprise Pyrrha was Asarirn's eyes shifted from red to normal brown.

"The fight is over, you have lost," Asarirn finally spoke as he moved the blade away from Pyrrha.

Pyrrha watched as Asarirn stepped away to give her some space. Pyrrha watched the two blades reverted back to their normal before disappearing from his hand, but left a trail of snow behind.

"You have shown me you are not capable of fighting a Weapon Master," Asarirn continued.

"If you train me, then I have better chance competing against one," She pleaded.

Asarirn stared at Pyrrha with his emotionless eyes. "Regards, you have failed the task that I have given you."

Pyrrha had a depressed look in her eyes as her one chance to be train by a Weapon Master was gone.

"To become a Weapon Master," Asarirn continued to speak, "one doesn't have any weakness. The way I was taught, you fight without emotions, you fight with pure instinct. With those traits, you have a better understanding of the flow of combat. We exploit the weakness of our enemies in order to gain the advantage."

"Did I have any weakness during our fight?" Pyrrha asked while still on the ground.

Asarirn looked at Pyrrha with a straight face. "You show that you believed you don't have the confidence to attack. So instead, you waited for an opening. However, the moment you made your move, I was able to counter your attacks."

Pyrrha stood up from the ground. She patted away any dirt she may got on her clothing and/or armor.

"I see," Pyrrha responded. "Well, I suppose I can try again later on. Once I believe I am ready."

Asarirn looked at Pyrrha like she wasn't going to let her.

"I'm sorry," Asarirn apologized, even though his face shows he doesn't really mean it, "but I can't let you go with you having the information of me being a Weapon Master."

Pyrrha had a friendly look on her face, but now that was gone upon hearing Asarirn's words.

Immediately, Pyrrha reached in for shield order to block whatever Asarirn had planned. However, Asarirn was quicker to react.

Asarirn moved his left hand over his left eye before he called out a spell.

"Mystic Eye: Dominance," Asarirn casted the spell.

The pupils of Asarirn's right eye into a pink magic circle. Before Pyrrha could react, the spells landed without putting any effort.

The life in Pyrrha's eye were gone, the moment spell took hold of her. By the looks of it, she appeared to be in a trace.

"You are under of my orders," Asarirn stated as he still had his hand over his left eye. "My words have absolute order. Whatever I order you to do, you will follow it without question."

Pyrrha looked at Asarirn with a blank stare.

"Now then," Asarirn continued, "you will forget the encounter with me. You will forget that I was a Weapon Master and you will never suspect me as one, the next time you see me. The reason you are here is because you are waiting for Jaune to arrive, so you can commences your training. But instead you decided to take a nap as you waited on him for too long."

Pyrrha made no movement what so ever.

"Do you understand?"

"Understood," Pyrrha replied with a zombie like voice.

"Now sleep," Asarirn commanded as he waved his hand in front of Pyrrha.

The magic circle in Asarirn's eye faded away, turning his eye back to normal. Immediately, Asarirn felt a sharp pain in his eye as he closed it and used his hand to cover it. He fell down onto his knees as the pain was unbearable. Blood ran down from Asarirn's eye to onto his cheeks. Asarirn opened the other eye, which was close up to this point.

"It's a good thing it is night time," Asarirn told himself.

Before he said anything else, he saw Pyrrha was about fall to the ground. Asarirn quickly dashed towards Pyrrha as she was falling. Asarirn managed to catch her in his arm as Pyrrha remained asleep.

Asarirn simply stared at Pyrrha on his arm with one eye opened. The peaceful look on her face told she was having a nice dream. In responds, Asarirn sighed.

Asarirn carried Pyrrha, in bridle style, over to the wall next to the door that leads into the dorm.

"I believed you would an excellent apprentice," Asarirn spoke as he held her. Asarirn then gently placed her on the ground, but ensure she was sitting by the wall.

Asarirn stood back up and simply stared at the sleepy girl.

"Many Weapon Masters, out there, would be happy to have you as a student," Asarirn continued. "The only problem is you are asking the wrong one. You don't want to learn the same thing that I have learn. Walk the same path as I did. Even for you, you should consider yourself lucky for me to be different than the other Nightlyis."

Asarirn stared at his hand in response to his family name.

There was one person who was going to ruin this moment.

Dark Asarirn suddenly appeared next to him with devious smile on his face.

"So, o great Weapon Master, are you planning to rape her? Dark Asarirn asked in a jester tone.

Asarirn glared at him with daggers in his eyes. "What makes you think I would such a thing?" Asarirn questioned with an irritated tone.

"Oh, I don't know," Dark Asarirn spoke, "a man forcibly made a pretty young lady like herself," Dark Asarirn gestured to Pyrrha," To fall asleep right before you. This is your perfect to take advantage of her. This is your chance to relieve yourself of stress. Well, of course, this would be the most cliché' to do."

Dark Asarirn laughed as he casually walk over to Pyrrha. He sat down next to her.

"I wouldn't be surprised if guys, like yourself of course, would take advantage of this poor defenseless woman," Dark Asarirn spoke with a sympathize voice.

Dark Asarirn moved his hand over towards Pyrrha's breast as he shown Asarirn with a smile.

Before Dark Asarirn could even place his hand on Pyrrha's breast, not even half a second, Asarirn moved his hand over in downward motion directly over Dark Asarirn. The purple katana appeared in his hand as he slashed at incredible speed. The moment, however, the blade was about to make contact, Dark Asarirn disappeared in a puff of black smoke.

Asarirn stood from where he was, staring at the wall. For one thing, he knew for sure was Dark Asarirn stood behind him with a smile like he had accomplished something. Asarirn kept Breeze in his hand as he expect he wasn't done with it.

"Remember what I said earlier?" Asarirn asked.

Again, Dark Asarirn smiled as he knew exactly what Asarirn was talking about. "Something about if you found a way to kill me," he answered causally.

"I wouldn't hesitate to kill you," Asarirn finished as he turned around to face him. Asarirn looked straight at Dark Asarirn with his red eyes, showing him he means business. "I want you to leave. If you don't have anything important to say to me, then there is no point for you to be here."

Dark Asarirn kept his smile, which only irritated Asarirn more. "If only you're like this, this whole time, I say it would please him greatly."

Dark Asarirn faded away without saying anything else.

Once Asarirn sensed his presence gone, he let out a sigh as he relaxed himself. The red color eyes turned back to the normal brown color. And lastly, the Mystical Blade vanished from his hand.

Asarirn simply looked at Pyrrha without saying a word. Without saying anything, Asarirn pulled up his hood to cover his face. Then, Asarirn simply walked over to the edge of the rooftop and stopped. He gave one quick glance over to Pyrrha, which she was still asleep, before he just walked off the ledge. Asarirn fell from the rooftop and disappear into the darkness of the night.

-*RWBY*-

It was long before Jaune rushed out of the door. He had a look that he was late for his training with Pyrrha.

Jaune stopped as soon as he was outside on the rooftop.

"Sorry, Pyrrha," Jaune Arc explained as he was breathless. "Someone got in the way. It wasn't Cardin, for your info-" Jaune stopped as he didn't find anyone in front of him. He expect Pyrrha to waiting in the middle of the rooftop with her weapon ready. But instead, nothing.

Jaune started to look around with a worry look on his face. It literally took him a couple of seconds to realize Pyrrha was right next to him on the ground.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune cried out as he quickly crouch next to her. Jaune placed his hand on her shoulder.

Pyrrha's head moved upon touching her shoulder. Pyrrha slowly opened as she was awaken from her sleep. Her eyes moved around a bit to look around and then focused on Jaune.

"Hey Jaune..," She greeted with tiredness in her voice.

"Are you okay?" Jaune asked with a bit of concern.

"I guess I fell asleep waiting for you," Pyrrha stated as she stretch a bit.

"Well, if you're this tired, we can skip tonight's training. You don't need to push your for me."

Pyrrha's eye shot open upon hearing Jaune's words.

"No!" Pyrrha denied as she jumped from the ground to her feet. "I'm perfectly fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Definitely," Pyrrha replied with a smile to calm Jaune's worries. "Enough talk, we have some important training to do."

Pyrrha walked over to the middle of the rooftop with her weapon in hand. Pyrrha held up only her sword and readied her stance.

Jaune stared at her for a few moments before smiling at her. Jaune grabbed the hilt of his sword and drawn from it sheath. Jaune held up his sword with both hands as he readied himself.

Pyrrha simply smiled at him as she believed he was ready to start their session. "Ready when you are."

Without a moment notice, Jaune charged straight at Pyrrha. Jaune swung his sword in a downward arc as he was close to Pyrrha. However, Pyrrha waited for the incoming attack. Pyrrha quickly moved to the side, out of the way of the attack, and slashed at his weapon to parry.

Jaune looked at Pyrrha and Pyrrha looked at Jaune. They both smiled at each other as they readied themselves again. Without saying a word to each other, they both charged at each other with their weapons as they continued with their training.

During their training session, Pyrrha couldn't help but be lost in thought. Jaune found her on the rooftop asleep while waiting for him to arrive, but the problem was she didn't even remember ever reaching the rooftop. She could on remember only walking up the stairs leading to the rooftop. Then everything else was a blank to her.

She decided to dismiss the thought as there was nothing wrong with her. Even though, there was nothing out of the ordinary.

The two continued with training without any problems. Unless, Pyrrha was being too hard on him. Again.
