Asarirn stood over the ledge of the rooftop. He looked out the scenery of the city of Vale. Asarirn waited. He watched the people walking down the sidewalk. Some were dressed to party all night long. As for some, they were excited to go home after a long day at work. Even some tried to do some last minute shopping before the store close for the day. Asarirn waited. How the majority of the citizen lived peaceful lives without worrying about what going on outside of the Kingdom. Some may have some concerns for the outside, but they felt safe within the walls. Again Asarirn waited.
The amount of time Asarirn had spent waiting, had him grew impatient.
"Where in the hell is he?" Asarirn kicked the ground in frustration. "Why is he late?"
Asarirn sighed as he gave up. He sat on the ledge and peered out to the city. Asarirn shouldn't expect everything from Three. If Asarirn wasn't back in the other world, then Three would be in charge of the organization. That was the only reason, Asarirn came up with, for Three being late. On the other hand, Three does manage the Magic Department. He could be running some experiment that could benefit the Silent Angel. In the end, Asarirn had to wait.
Ten minutes had gone by without noticing. Asarirn distracted himself by watching the people walking by. Without notice, a portal appeared behind him. Asarirn turned around to acknowledge the portal was there before turning back.
A man emerged from the portal. The man had the same black coat as Asarirn. He carried a mage's staff on his back. Asarirn knew that person was Three. Three breathed heavily as he placed his hands on his thighs. Three sounded like he was exhausted.
"My apologies for being late," Three finally spoke as he caught his breath.
Asarirn stood up from where he was sitting. Asarirn casually pulled off his hood, revealing his face under the moonlight. The face, Asarirn had shown he was not amused.
"You're late," Asarirn confronted Three.
"I am very aware of my late arrival," Three tried to calm Asarirn down. "I was taking care of a problem we had encountered."
"What problem?" Asarirn sounded concern.
"Well, an ambassador from the Kingdom of Winterfall visited our stronghold," Three explained. "I was forced to have a private meeting with him."
"About?" Asarirn was eager to know.
"He said, on behalf of the King of Winterfall, he wanted the whole organization, The Silent Angel, to disband. Our organization was causing a diplomatic issue with the kingdom's military force. Especially with the other kingdoms."
"How did you respond to that?"
"I said, we formed the organization for a reason. We are here to help people in need, we don't care for fame or money. People that the kingdom doesn't even help. We don't want to cause any problem with the neighboring Kingdoms. Because of what I said, the meeting ended shortly after. He wasn't to please by my respond."
"You have done what I would have done myself," Asarirn sounded pleased. "However, doesn't mean this would be the last time we are ever going to hear from them."
"You think they're going to mount an attack on us?"
"I'm not really sure that's going to happen. If that's the cause, that won't happen for a while. They need time to plan out their assault. By the time they attack, we will be ready by then," Asarirn ended from there. The silence lasted for a minute or so until Asarirn said something important. "The seal had been broken."
Three walked up to Asarirn and placed his hands on Asarirn's shoulder.
"How did this happen?" Three with concern in his voice.
"I broke the seal because I was overwhelmed with the emotion of something happened earlier."
Three placed his hand on Asarirn's chest. His hand glowed for a split second. Three wanted to ask him how exactly the seal was broken. But he knew if he asked, Asarirn would dodge the question. He moved his hand away once he confirmed the seal himself.
"How are you feeling?" That was the only question Three could ask.
"I feel my magic are a bit unstable. That is why I need your help."
"With what exactly?"
"I need your help to rebuild the seal."
"You know the amount of time need to rebuild the seal."
"With your help, the time would be reduced tremendously than the amount of time I would have needed performing the spell myself."
Three took a moment to think about his situation before he nodded as he wanted to help.
"If we are going to start the sealing spell, then we probably should need a more private place." Three stated as he took a look around the area.
Asarirn thought about a place for a moment. He began to nod as he knew of a place for the spell. "I believe I know of a place," Asarirn claimed.
"Show me the way," Three gestured to lead him the way.
Without saying anything else, Asarirn started to run and leaped onto the next building. Three followed him without questing his leader's motives.

Ruby was speaking to a complete stranger. They were in the middle of a busy sidewalk in the city of Vale. Despite being in the middle of the night, the city seemed to be heavy populated.
Ruby held up her scroll to the stranger. There was a photo of the whole team, including Asarirn. She pointed to Asarirn on the photo. "Have you seen someone wearing this black coat?" Ruby asked the stranger. The stranger only shook his head to Ruby's question. "Oh I see," Ruby said with sadness in her voice.
Ruby thanked the stranger for their cooperation before departing. Ruby walked quite a ways before she caught up to her sister, Yang.
Yang was talking to one of shop owner outside of their shop. Yang held up her scroll with the picture of the team. The same photo Ruby had shown before.
"Have you seen our friend?" Yang pointed to Asarirn on the photo. The shop owner shook his head in response. "At least something, anything," Yang sounded a bit desperate. Again, the shop owner shook his head in response.
Yang hung her head down in defeat as she thanked the guy. As she was about to walk away, Yang heard her sister called out her name. She responded by looking back up. Yang greeted her with a smile as Ruby walked up to her.
"Any luck?" Yang asked.
Ruby responded by shaking her head.
"You?" Ruby asked herself.
Yang shook her head.
The two sisters began to walk down the streets. Occasionally, they would call out Arranis' name, hoping for their missing teammate would make an appearance. But, they both knew very well that wasn't happening anything soon.
Wasn't long before the two sisters met up with the rest of team. They found Blake and Weiss were discussing a topic among themselves. The sisters approached them which caused them to stop talking to acknowledge their presence. Blake and Weiss both have the faces of disappointment and dread.
"By the look on you guys' faces, you didn't have much luck as we did," Yang tried to brighten the mood.
"Sadly," was the only thing Blake said.
The group began to be surrounded by awkward silence. They all had a lot on their minds about the situation. Ruby doesn't want to drag this on.
"What were you two talking about before we got here?" Ruby was curious to know. Yang also wanted to know.
"As I was telling Blake," Weiss began to speak, "this is impossible to find him."
"What do you mean by impossible?" Yang asked.
"Trust me. We have asked everyone here. Based on his attire, he would have stuck out like a sore thumb. But..."
"Nobody had seen or recognized him. It was like he was never here. That would mean..."
"He is either in a low populated area, or he's hidden in plain sight," Blake explained, "He could easily walk around without his coat because no one really knows what he looked like."
"My guess is he would be avoiding the public," Weiss claimed. "If he goes without the coat, I would know what he looks like."
"How you know?" Ruby asked as she wanted exactly what Weiss meant by that.
"That is what I said," Blake added to the mix.
"I have my information," Weiss sounded inferior to everyone. "Trust me, I would know.
"And that's what she said to me," Blake added.
Everyone turned quiet from that. The only sound that was happening was the cars that are driving by, and the people going on their business around them. Everyone wanted to know how exactly Weiss knew what Arranis might look like. But, they are wasting precious time.
"Never mind that," Yang spoke out. "We can't be wasting time as it is. We need to think where Arranis might be."
Ruby thought hard about where he might be. An idea popped into her head like a light bulb shine brightly. She smiled, which gotten the attention of her team. They waited for her to tell them.
"I believe I might know where is he," Ruby kept the smile on her face.
-*RWBY*-
Within the docks that sat silently for the night, there was a warehouse. Within the dark infested warehouse, there was nothing. The only light illuminated in the building was the moonlight that beamed through the windows. It was another night for the building to be without anything disturbing the building. Well... of course, tonight was going to be something completely different.
Two dark figures descended from the ceiling and landed on the ground. Closer inspections of the two shown they both wore a black robe with red trims all over. They checked their surroundings to ensure nobody was in the same room. Once the whole room was clear, one of them sighed in relief.
"Are you sure about this place," one of the men asked with a bit of doubt in his voice.
"This place should be fine," the other person replied with confidence. "The dock workers here only worked during the day. During the night, the chances for you to encounter someone are slim to none."
"I hope you are right about this."
One of the robed figures pulled off his hood to reveal his face. That person was Asarirn Nightlyis.
"Trust me," Asarirn tried to convince Three, who was with him. "I have scouted this place for the last couple of days. There is no way someone will happen to stumble upon here and interrupt the ritual."
The other man, Three, sighed as he believed this place was good as it can get.
"Well," Three gave up, "might as well prepare the ritual."
Asarirn undid his black coat and tossed the coat off to the side.
"What kind of seal are we working with?" Asarirn casually asked as he pulled off one of his gloves.
"Since the last seal you had was destroyed by the last time you lost control, we have to go with one a lot stronger."
Asarirn stopped the process of pulling off his other glove. "Wait," Asarirn realized something. "Don't tell me we are using 'that' seal. I'm only weak as it is. If we use that seal, I'm not sure if I'm strong enough to take down my enemies."
"What choice do we have?" Three argued. "When you lost control of yourself, was there anyone who witness your actions?"
Asarirn didn't say anything.
"Allowed me to rephrase the question," Three continued. "How many people had seen you lost control?"
Asarirn remained silent. He didn't want to admit Three was right.
"This is the reason we have to use a heavy seal. In case if you allowed your emotions gets the best of you, you won't lose control and still retain the seal."
"We really don't have a choice, do we?" Asarirn finally gave up. "We will use that seal. This would probably be the best for everyone. I can't afford to lost control of this power, even though this power is mine alone."
"I'm glad you understand," Three sounded pleased.
"Considering I'm the leader of the Silent Angel, I have a reason to form this organization. I can't afford my power to ruin what I have so far," Asarirn claimed. "Are you ready to memorize the magic circle?"
Three nodded his head as he was ready. Asarirn took in a deep breath. Almost instantly, Asarirn slapped his hand onto the ground. Slowly, glowing dark red lines began to appear around his hand. The lines connect onto one and another until formed into a large magic circle.
Three studied the magic circle for a bit, trying to memorize the magic structure and runes. Asarirn maintained the magic circle, even though the spell was draining him of mana at a rapid pace. Once Three memorized the magic circle, he made a small gesture to Asarirn. Instantly, Asarirn moved his hand out of the magic circle, breaking the spell. The light of the magic circle faded away.
Three reached into his sleeve and produced a piece of white chalk. He began to inscribe the same magic circle as the one Asarirn had performed. Asarirn watched closely to ensure the drawn out magic circle was the same; structure, runes, and size. Once the magic circle was completed, Three pulled his staff from his back as he sat down on the ground with his legs folded right next to the magic.
Asarirn didn't say anything as he knew what to do. Asarirn walked over to the middle of the drawn magic circle. He laid down directly in the middle of the magic circle.
"Are you ready?" was the only thing Three asked Asarirn.
"I'm as ready as I will ever be," Asarirn prepared himself.
Before Three could start the spell, the two heard a voice echoed throughout the building. "My, what do we have here?" The two froze for a moment but then knew who the voice coming from.
Black smoke appeared next to Asarirn. The two noticed the smoke, but they don't count the smoke as a threat. Dark Asarirn emerged from the smoke as the black smoke faded away.
"I see one of your pawns is helping you to replace your seal," Dark Asarirn being observant. "I still can't see the reasoning for you lock away such power."
"I'm not Asarirn's pawn," Three argued.
"Oh really?" Dark Asarirn had doubt in his voice. "Let's see. A man who obediently followed orders without a second thought. A man who takes orders from someone who's half his age. For what reason?"
"I have my own reasons for me to join with Asarirn."
"Oh, I haven't known that," Dark Asarirn interrupted. "Last time I checked, you have lost everything from the massacre at Elysian Legion point. Everyone, you thought as a family was killed right before your eyes. Your leader of the Silver Rangers was killed, same as all of the lieutenants." Dark Asarirn looked at the two them. "Well, at least some of them survived. Anyhow, since news of the event spread like wildfire, everyone was too afraid to stay in the guild because all of their best guys were killed."
"I learned from what happened that event and I will never that happened again. I will defend what I cared for as I become a better fighter"
"Better you say?" Dark Asarirn grinned widely. "You lost everything. Asarirn was the only one you had left. After the event, Asarirn decided to move on. But, you didn't want to be alone again.
"That's enough," Asarirn threatened.
"Yet you are forced to follow Asarirn's plan without question. Even it goes against your values and morals."
The room fell silent after Dark Asarirn's rant. Asarirn remained where he was. As for Three, he remained silent.
"Why are you telling me this?" Three forced himself to ask.
"I'm just stating the truth. That's all."
Again, silent filled the whole building. Asarirn doesn't want Three to lash out in anger at Dark Asarirn. However, the totally unexpected happened. Three began to laugh.
Three laughed for a whole minute. Asarirn found his laugh a bit creepy but kept his composure. Dark Asarirn is shown with a face of annoyance. Well, pissed you could say. The laughter ended by slowly fading away as the joke got old.
"You have never changed," Three stated to Dark Asarirn. "You couldn't get me to turn against him back then. What makes you think I will turn against now?"
"I'm telling you the truth," Dark Asarirn claimed. I'm just telling you being mistreated by Asarirn."
"You are telling me at the same time you are about to be sealed away. For some strange reason, I don't find that surprising at all. After this, hopefully, I don't ever want to see you again."
"You claim to be a mage. Despite everything, you will always be a soldier. A ranger at that."
Dark Asarirn ended the conversation by giving a small playful bow before disappearing in black smoke. The black smoke faded away leaving only the two black coated member in silence.
"To be honest, I never understand how you manage to deal with a person like him," Three asked.
"All I can say, it puts a lot of stress to your mentally. There was one time, I had listened to him. Never again."
"My only question is had you received any words from 'him'."
"I had not."
"Hopefully, that stay that way." There was a brief pause before Three continued. "We should proceed with the sealing spell."
Asarirn didn't say anything but nodded in agreement. Three made some hand motions as he sat on the ground with his legs crossed.
The chain that held both the heaven and hell close to earth. The very chains that suppress the dragons and creatures during ancient times. I use these chains to suppress the great power within him.
During the chanting of the spell, black like chains slithered from the magic circle from the ground. The chains acted like an inanimate tentacle. The chains wrapped around each of Asarirn's limbs and pulled down. To ensure they were secure. That didn't end there. Two much larger chains emerged from the ground next to Asarirn, one on each side. The two big chains wrapped around Asarirn's chest and pulled to secure.
Three changed his hand gesture to a different hand motion and stopped.
"Are you ready?" Three asked to ensure everything was alright.
Asarirn didn't say anything but nodded as he was ready. He swallowed hard as he prepared for what is about to come next.
Three proceed on with the spell as he began to channel the spell by mumbling some chants.
The magic circle underneath Asarirn glowed brightly as the process of the spell began.
Asarirn felt the chains that are wrapped around his body began to pull down on him. He felt the gravity in the surrounding suddenly gotten heavier. Heavier and heavier the force on Asarirn had gotten to the point his very soul was pulling away from him. This was what Asarirn had to put up with for the next hour.
-*RWBY*-
Asarirn remained on the ground with the chains strapped around his body. He had trouble breathing due to the weight of those chains on his chest. Three, on the other hand, remained the same also. He was sitting on the ground while keeping his hand out during the channeling process.
Those two had remained quiet during the duration of the spell, even up to now.
"How are you holding up?" Three broke to silence to figure out everything was fine. Despite the years of training he had, Three knew there was no way he could keep his arm up for this long.
"I have been... through worst...," Asarirn had trouble speaking.
"This won't take that much longer," Three stated.
The channeling process was going on smoothly as expected until they ran into an unexpected problem. A problem that they both didn't have anticipated.
"Arranis!" There was a faint call.
Both, Three and Asarirn, froze in place by the sound of the call. They tried to figure out where the call was coming from.
"Arranis!" There was another call but sound like someone different than the first one.
Three turned to Asarirn. "There are on to us," Three spoke in serious concerning tone.
Asarirn thought about the voices that were calling his name. The only thing that comes to mind that these girls were this persistent on finding him. Do they really care that much? Or they wanted an answer from him? Either way, thinking about this was not the least of his worries currently.
"Listen to me, Three," Asarirn tried to grab Three's attention. "I need you to do me a favor. I need you to lure the girls away. They don't know I'm part of an organization. So they don't the significant meaning of the coat."
"Asarirn!" Another voice was heard from a distance but closer than the previous one.
"They know who you really are," Three stated. "They know you are a Weapon Master. We can't allow them to walk away with that information."
Asarirn took a moment to think about the reason for them to know his name. This ended when he remembered something. Asarirn looked back at Three as he was confident.
"They only know my first name," Asarirn told him. "They don't know I'm a Nightlyis or, a matter of fact, a Weapon Master at all."
Three fell silent for a moment. Asarirn could tell there was a lot of doubt coming from Three.
"How sure are you?" that was the only Three asked.
"Out of all the experience I had with them, I never mentioned or hinted I was a Weapon Master or a Nightlyis. You should give me a little more trust than that."
After that argument, Three ended with long doubt sigh.
"Very well, my lord," Three followed the order, reverting back to the obedient member he was. "I shall lead them away from here."
Three stood up from where he sat. He placed his hand on his chest. And quickly closed his eyes. As his hand appeared to grab a hold of something, Three pulled the item from his chest. An orb of blue light emerged from his chest and sat on his hand. Three grabbed his staff that was near him and brought the staff close to the ball of light. As two items meet, the orb on top of Three's staff absorbed the ball of light until there was nothing left. Three finished everything by placing the staff, standing up, next to Asarirn.
"With this staff, the spell will continue on without my presence," Three claimed. "I shall carry out your order."
Three began to walk away but was stopped by Asarirn.
"Just remember," Asarirn stopped Three. "Do not kill them. Just lead them away from here. If they attack you, defend yourself."
Three turned his head as he was about to say something, but decided to keep it to himself.
"I shall do as you ask me," Three said to Asarirn.
Without warning, Three vanished into thin air. That left Asarirn alone with the spell still channeling. However, Asarirn felt something was wrong beside Three was total disagreement with his order. As of right now, the most important thing for Asarirn was to complete the spell.
-*RWBY*-
Earlier...
The girls of Team RWBY had finally reached the warehouse district. Everyone except for Ruby and Blake who had doubts about this place. Without wasting any more time, the team proceeds.
While walking, everyone walked around and inside each building to thoroughly ensure Arranis was there or not. However, with the rate they are going at, that might take almost all night.
"ARRANIS!" Ruby called out for her missing teammate.
After a moment of silence, there was no response. The group continued on with their search.
After no luck, Yang wanted to help out her little sister.
"ARRANIS!" Yang roared really loud as she called out her teammate's name. After a bit of silence, again, there was no response.
"Are you sure about Arranis hiding out here?" Weiss asked as the group moved on to the next building.
"She had the right idea," Blake helped Ruby's claim. "This place is secluded during the night. Nobody ever comes here except for people doing shady deals."
"Or in this case, someone wanting to hide out here," Yang added to the mix.
They continued on with their search without any more interruption. Weiss decided to help out the two sisters. But with a sudden twist.
"ASARIRN!" Weiss used her diaphragm to carry her voice out.
Immediately, Ruby stopped in her tracks, causing everyone else to stop behind her. Ruby advanced towards Weiss having a worry expression.
"What are you doing?!" Ruby was startled by Weiss' intentions.
"Under these circumstances," Weiss began to explain, "we should use a different logical process that leads us to dissimilar outcomes."
Ruby stared at Weiss as Ruby was a lot more confusing with Weiss' explanation than her actions.
"Stop using your big words!" Ruby flung her arms in the air.
Weiss practically smacked herself in the face. "I'm saying what makes you think if the first two times didn't work, the third would."
"Why that name though?" Blake curiously asked.
"He responded to that name by that hologram or projection entity back during our sparring class. Maybe he would respond to that name."
"But there is a chance you could have made him run off from us," Ruby sounded concern.
"There could be a chance he could be carry answers we are looking," Blake added.
"Believe me, we all wanted answers," Yang also added on. "Not only from what happened during the fight between Asarirn and Cardin but the other thing."
"He not going to tell us that easily," Blake claimed, which caused everyone to stop their arguments. Because of that, everyone began to have their doubts. Mainly, what would happen if they did find Arranis? What would they say to him?
"Anyhow, I'm going to tell you all this," Weiss didn't want to burst anyone's bubble, "with the rate we are going, this could take us all night.
The whole group stopped in their tracks once they realized the rate they are going. They began to ponder on what they should do to speed up the search. If they continue with the same rate they had been for the last couple of hours, there could be a strong chance Arranis would have moved on. Blake began to walk ahead of the group, in which caused everyone to stop their thoughts and watched Blake.
"I will scout out on the rooftop. We can have a better vantage point from the rooftop," Blake told the group as she approached a pipeline that leads to the roof. She began to climb up quickly up the pipe.
"You go kitty cat!" Yang called to Blake as she climbed.
Blake reached the top of the roof and left their team field of vision. Blake scanned the area as she walked towards a ledge. She peered over the buildings without having any luck on finding the missing teammate. However, she didn't expect the next thing that was going to happen.
Without any hesitation, Blake broke into roll away from where she was. She quickly glances over to the area where she was before. A couple of raindrops splattered onto the ground where she was once at. Blake didn't roll away just because she was a cat fanaus. She doesn't have a problem with water or anything, due to the fact she takes showers with her team. That is a different story and time.
Blake looked up to the sky. There weren't any rain clouds overhead or anything that show signs of rain. That caused a great deal of confusion to Blake. She couldn't figure out where was the source of those raindrops. With her intuition, she knew their team wasn't alone after all.
-*RWBY*-
The rest of team RWBY, consisting of Ruby, Weiss, and Yang, were continuing their search on the ground while their fanaus teammate search from the top. They searched around the building, but no luck at all. They believed this was going to be a lot harder than they thought it would be. Before they could move on, everyone immediately felt raindrops landed on top of their head.
They stopped.
Ruby hovered her hands around as she tried to feel more of the raindrops, soon the rest followed the leader the same way. They were really confused.
"So, I'm not the only one who felt that, right?" Yang pointed out.
Everyone shook their head as they agreed with Yang. To them, there weren't any rain clouds in the sky. The sky was left with many stars surrounding the shattered moon.
They continued to be confused until someone caught Weiss' attention. Weiss remained to stare at that person until Ruby was close enough to her. She quickly tapped Ruby's shoulder gently to grab her attention and Yang's. Before Ruby could say anything, Weiss simply pointed down the road at something. Ruby peered over to the area Weiss was staring and froze.
Down the road, stood a man. The man wore a black coat with red trims all over. A hood which, in fact, hid his face from them. The man simply stood there as he stared back at the girls without saying a word.
Ruby couldn't believe what she was seeing. She wouldn't expect Arranis would show himself. Ruby felt excited but at the same time, she felt concern. She doesn't know what to say so he would not run off.
"Arranis, listen-" Ruby greeted with open arms as she took a step forward.
As soon as Ruby took a step, black coated figure took one step back, not only stopping her but made her quiet. The way the black coated figure acted, he was being cautious.
"Arranis, listen," Ruby spoke as she remained in the same place. "I know things got pretty bad since that day for you. I just wanted to say we are here for you. We don't care what others say about you. You are a member of my team and I will help you as much as I can. So please... come back."
The black coated figure remained silent without showing any signs of movement.
"My sister really cares for her team," Yang added on. "That is what makes her a great team leader." Ruby felt glad her sister would those remarks about her. "Sure, things might go horribly wrong but there is also a bright side. And we can help you with that."
The black coated figure remained silent without showing any signs of movement. Again.
"Even though, I'm going to question everything that had happened," Weiss barged in. "I'm sure we will understand what you have to say." Ruby and Yang gave concerns looks at Weiss for what she had said.
The black-coated person shook his head as he was disappointed on what they had said. He moved his head as he was about to say something but stopped. The person quickly turned around and swung out his hand. A small black knife flew out of the man's hand. The knife traveled upwards towards the roof of a nearby building. At the same time, Blake pounced from the roof down towards the black coated figure.
Blake and the knife flew at each other. Since the knife was hard to see, the knife pierced directly into Blake's chest. She dropped to the ground almost instantly.
Before anyone could react, Blake's body vanished. That told everyone that was a decoy or clone, depending on whose perspective. Blake appeared behind the black-coated person without being noticed, catching him off guard. She quickly gave a tug off her ribbon that was out.
The man noticed he was surrounded by a rope of black ribbon and quickly closed in on him. He leaped into the air before he could have been caught, and landed away from the girls. He didn't make any sudden movements what so ever but instead stared at them for a bit. Without saying anything he turned around and quickly sprinted away.
Blake was about to sprint after the black-coated person, but someone caught her by the arms. She quickly turned around to face the person that had stopped, only to find the person that had stopped her was Ruby herself.
Ruby gave off a worry and concern look at Blake.
"What are you doing?" Ruby pleaded for an answer on Blake's action.
Blake turned her head away, not only keeping track of the runaway man but not able to face Ruby due to her sudden attack.
"He will just run again," Blake said without facing Ruby.
"But-" Ruby tried to reason with her. Blake ignored her words as she tugged on her hand hard. That was enough force to pull free from Ruby's grasp.
Blake stood in front of Ruby for a couple of seconds before she muttered some words under her breath. "I'm sorry..."
Blake didn't say any more than that before she yanked her hand free. She quickly chased after the hooded figure before Ruby could stop her.
Ruby watched in shock as Blake ran off after their fifth member of Team RWBY. She doesn't know what to after all that had happened. However, that's not going to stop her. She believed the two might hurt each other. With that, Ruby was determined to stop them. Without saying anything, she ran off, leaving Yang and Weiss by themselves.
Yang and Weiss gave each other looks as they don't know what just happened. Yang simply shrugged as she gave off a cheesy smile. The way she acted as this was a regular reoccurrence thing. Weiss rolled her eyes. She believed this was a huge waste of her time. However, Weiss smiled by the sheer thought of the whole situation. The two of them smiled each other before taking off after their teammates.
-*RWBY*-
Three quickly climbed up the pipeline that led to the rooftop. He vaulted himself over on the rooftop as soon as he reached the top. Three jogged away from the ledge to avoid being seen from the ground.
Three held up his hand to the sky. He mumbled some words to himself and a magic circle appeared over his hand. Raindrops began to fall from the sky, despite not seeing a single cloud in sight.
Using the light rain, Three can use as a way to track down his enemies. Before he could realize, the long black hair girl managed to catch up to him. He sensed the girl was already climbing up halfway on the building where he was located.
Three considered that girl a nuisance. She could be the very reason that Asarirn's identify would be blown. He reached for the twin swords, he had underneath his coat but stopped himself before his hands reached the handles. Three remembered the order Asarirn had given him, led them away but not to engage. Three gritted his teeth under his hood as he had no choice. He forced himself to follow his leader's orders.
The black long haired girl climbed all the way to the roof. She instantly narrowed her eyes by the sheer appearance of the black-coated person before her. She doesn't know what to expect from him. The only thing she can do was reached for her weapons that rested on her back.
-*RWBY*-
Asarirn remained on the ground, staring at the ceiling of the building. He remained inside of the magic circle, the one Three had left. Asarirn lost track of time on how long the spell been going. He felt as there was a great deal of weight on his body. But Asarirn doesn't mind at all.
He goes back and forth from staring at the ceiling to the staff that Three had left. Back and forth. Back and forth. The way he was acting like he was trying to ignore something. Or someone.
Dark Asarirn stood next to Asarirn, just outside of the magic circle. However, Dark Asarirn appearance was altered. He looked rather transparent and smoky at them same time. But that doesn't mean that was going to stop him
He had been staring at Asarirn, trying to make him acknowledge his presence. But Asarirn ignored him.
"I wonder how those girls could handle someone from the Silent Angels," Dark Asarirn began to talk, but Asarirn chose to ignore. But he continued to speak. "Especially, when they are faced with someone that is your second in command. Do you think Three could easily disobey your order and kill of those girls? I think that would be easier for him than 'leading them away.'"
Again, Asarirn ignored his words.
Dark Asarirn made a scorn kind of face as he was getting no reaction from Asarirn. "I just do not understand, Asarirn Nightlyis. You had received a perfect gift, and yet you chose to suppress that gift. You were promised great things using this gift. Your family expected great thing from you. Especially 'him.' Because of your idiotic vow, you discarded." Dark Asarirn shoots one last death glare before fading away. "You will soon learn you will need this gift, and you will need me again."
Once Dark Asarirn disappeared, Asarirn simply stared at the ceiling.
"You call "this" a gift," Asarirn finally spoke, "but to me, I call this a curse. I will still be able to use a very little of this power. Not enough to make people think I'm a heartless killer. I could of care less for the family…"

Three ran swiftly across the rooftop trying to lead Blake on. Blake ensured she wasn't going to fall for any tricks.
Blake sprinted fast towards Three, closing the distance. As soon as she was close enough, Blake jumped over Three and landed in front of him to intercept.
Three stopped hard as soon as Blake block his path. He used the momentum from stopping and jumped to his left. But Blake wasn't going to allow that. She quickly transformed her Gambol Shroud into her pistol mode. Blake threw her pistol at Three before he could land from his jump.
Three saw the pistol heading straight for him. He flipped himself while in the air and landed on his hand. Three pushed himself off the ground away from the path of the pistol. He rolled for a bit and transitioned onto his feet.
Blake pulled on her ribbon, the moment Three dodged the initial throw. The pistol shot back at Three with increased velocity.
The pistol came extremely close before Three could realize. Three turned his head ever so slightly to see the incoming attack. That moment took a split second react. That split second Three only needs to react. Three reached for one of the twin swords that was underneath his coat. Three twisted his body followed by with the swing of the sword. Just in time, Three managed to strike the incoming pistol by deflecting the pistol.
Blake only took that moment to realize that person wasn't the person she was thinking of. Blake let off a hard tug on the ribbon and pulled back her pistol.
"You're not Arranis!" Blake yelled out at the black robed figure.
Blake caught her weapon with one hand and with ease. She quickly took aim at Three and began to fire dust rounds at him.
Three jumped back away from Blake as he began to deflect the incoming fire. Three was very confused on what weapon that girl was using. He thought the weapon was a compacted crossbow but he was gravely mistaken. Three wondered if they were magic arrows of some sort. But that should not be his concern at the moment.
Three kept on jumping back, while deflecting bullets, with big steps. He keeps that on until he finally reached the other end of the rooftop. With one final step, Three leaped off the building with his back forward.
Blake wasn't going to let him get away with this. She stopped firing to only know she had only one round left in the chamber. Blake took a careful shot at Three by looking down on the iron sights of her pistol. She waited for the perfect opportunity to fire. Three knew he was in trouble.
Blake pulled the trigger and the gun fired. Three waited for the block with the blade. However, the unexpected happened. The shot was aimed indeed for Three, but the bullet shot high in the air, completely missing Three.
Before Blake could pull the trigger, someone managed to get close enough to Blake's wrist that held the pistol. As Blake pulled the trigger, her arm moved up and then the fire was shot. Blake knew that missed, but who stopped her.
Ruby stood next to Blake as she held up both Blake's and her arms. Ruby deliberately prevented Blake from firing at the black coated figure.
"What are you doing, Blake?!" Ruby was in total shock as released her grip on Blake's wrist.
Blake remained muted as she turned her attention toward her target.
Ruby and Blake both watched as the black coated descended down in between the alleyway of the building until he left the girls' line of sight. They both stood there without moving a single muscle. The girls both knew chasing after that man would be pointless. He could easily vanish.
Three watched the girls stood motionless as he fell in between the two buildings. He wondered why the girl in red stopped her. Three shook that thought out of his head. He landed at ground level and sprinted away.

Asarirn remained laying on the ground while the spell worked its magic. Every so often, Asarirn turned his head to the staff, and then to the windows that this building had, to relief his boredom. He noticed from the window that there was rain pouring down and he knew very well that the sky was clear before coming here. That only told him this was Three doing. This only told him what happened when Three needed to use the rain.
The glowing orb that was from Three's staff started to dim. The same goes the magic circle underneath Asarirn and the chains that were wrapped around him. That was the indication the spell was completed. Even though the spell was completed, Asarirn still felt a great deal of invisible weight on him since the beginning of the spell. As if the gravity wanted to push him down. That does not matter to Asarirn. All he cared about was the fact the sealing spell was completed.
Without notice, Three suddenly appeared next to Asarirn and his staff. He quickly kneels before Asarirn as he was in trouble.
"Sorry about my late summon," Three was quick to apologize.
"It is alright, Three," Asarirn shrugged off the formality and extended his hand for help. "The spell was completed just you shown yourself."
Three raised up and took a hold of Asarirn's hand. He gave one hard tug and pulled Asarirn up. Asarirn's body felt limp as he was not able to help himself up. Three tried his best to help Asarirn up to his feet.
"That is a strong spell you used," Asarirn commented, troubled to stay on his feet.
"Listen Asarirn," Three quickly changed the subject. "The girls knew I am not you. Especially the girl in black. She was the one who fires small magic arrows."
Asarirn froze when he heard Three said the girls knew Three wasn't him, but something confused him and had to ask. "Magic arrows?" Asarirn sounded confused.
"They were like this," Three used his thumb and pointer finger to show how small the "magic arrow" were.
"You mean bullets?" Asarirn corrected him.
"Bullets?" Three was as confusing as Asarirn was before.
"Never mind that," Asarirn dropped the whole thing. "Did you reveal who you was? Did you say anything to them?"
"I have not said anything to them," Three sounded so sure. "Like I said, the girl in black knew exactly I was not you."
Asarirn thought hard based on what Three had said. Was there a possibility that they can tell the difference between the two? Asarirn doesn't want to waste any more time since the girls are still within the area. He quickly picked his belongings with the best of his ability of not falling over.
"I'm assuming the rain was your magic," Asarirn asked which Three responded with a simple nod. "We will use this to our advantage. We will leave and avoid the girls at all cost."
"You still haven't explained why you are so interested in with girls and this world."
"In due time, my friend."
"I hope you didn't take any sexual interest with these girls," Three muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" Asarirn asked as he heard Three had said something under his breath.
"Nothing at all," Three played innocent. "I was simply maintaining the spell. Those girls are still within this area. If we don't move now, we are bound to run into them again."
Without further interruption, Asarirn and Three left the building, using the rain as cover, as they escaped from the girls of Team RWBY. This faithful encounter had left everyone with many questions and confusion. Three had many questions for Asarirn for his plans and intentions. Just what happened during his time in this world that caused him to be so interested in this world? The girls were confused on who's who. Just what is Asarirn was planning to do?
Author's Note: This story is not dead. It just takes awhile. I have the whole story planned out, it just this will take a long time to get to the ending.
