"And now? Where is he? Asked a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, long black hair with bangs and brown eyes with feline pupils. Her costume consists of a black kimono, a yellow obi, a set of golden beads and a headband with detailed details. Strangely, she has a pair of black cat ears and two black tails.

They had sensed an enormous amount of mana. However, she could tell it was out of control.

At the moment, she and a small group were in the desert trying to locate the source of all that power. Which was being a bit difficult...

"And I'll find out. Said a young man with short black hair. He was dressed in an ancient red colored Chinese armor.

The nonchalant tone he used to speak only served to make the brunette angry.

And realizing what was about to happen, a beautiful foreign girl with a slender body, shoulder length blond hair and blue eyes. Her costume consists of a sorceress dress with a huge blue hat with a black bow and yellow stars and matching cape with pink flowers and white interior, decided to interfere in the fight before it started.

''Bikou-sama, Kuroka-sama, please stop fighting.'' The blonde's cute voice served to make them stiffen.

''Tsk.'' Bikou clicked his tongue as he stopped talking.

''Okay, Le Fay-chan.'' Said Kuroka sighing at the end. She didn't want to have to deal with her overprotective brother.

''Making my pretty little sister worry...you guys suck.'' A calm voice sounded in the middle of this discussion.

Bikou and Kuroka began to sweat from nervousness upon hearing this voice.

A bespectacled, blond young man with a lock of hair on his face, who was wearing a business suit, appeared beside Le Fay.

''Onii-sama.'' Le Fay exclaimed in surprise at the appearance of his older brother.

Arthur nodded to Le Fay with a smile on his face as he turned his attention to the two troublemakers who were now staring at him nervously.

''Oh, it's you Arthur-san, welcome back.'' Kuroka greeted with a dull smile on his face.

Arthur just nodded, matching the greeting.

''So, why haven't you guys gone after him yet?'' Arthur inquired with a stern face.

But before Kuroka could say anything, Le Fay stepped forward and said, ''Onii-sama, we can't go any further. At the end of his speech Le Fay was sighing in helplessness at the situation they were in.

''What do you mean? You can't move forward?'' He asked confused but curious at the same time. You have to know that even though they have a small group of people, none of them are weak or anything like that.

There is a barrier that is preventing us from advancing. Le Fay said with a heavy sigh. She thought that breaking through a barrier would be easy, and indeed, for someone like her breaking through barriers was easy, but unfortunately she ran into an abnormal barrier that couldn't be broken by any of her tricks and skills.

''What is this barrier?'' He asked even more curious, since he knew his sister's abilities, so he was a little surprised that she was helpless in this situation.

''It's a space barrier, we can't get through until it deactivates.'' Answered a frustrated Le Fay that there was nothing she could do about it.

This kind of barrier worked in a way that every time someone went through it, that person would end up being teleported somewhere else. And this just showed that space magic was very complicated to deal with. And a person could not detect the barrier unless they have a good knowledge of barriers.

''A space barrier? In that case...'' Arthur started walking towards the edge of the barrier while summoning his sword, Caliburn.

''I think I should be able to cut through that...'' He muttered as he raised his sword and lowered it in a cut from top to bottom. Thus managing to make a crack in the barrier.

But as soon as the crack appeared in the barrier, a huge gale came over the place. And because of the strong gale, the desert began to form a sandstorm, concentrated only in this one place.

"BUT WHAT IS THIS? Le Fay screamed in terror. She did her best to hold on to the ground and not be blown away by the sandstorm. She had tried to use a spell but it was impossible to complete it due to the storm getting in the way.

''LE FAY!''

Arthur shouted as he ran towards his little sister. He quickly grabbed her by her left arm and with the sword in his right hand , he plunged her into the sand in an attempt to resist as much as possible.

"But what's going on in there? Inquired Kuroka in shock as she tried to look inside the barrier, but all she could see was the sandstorm.

...

...

Unaware of everything going on around him, Altair continued to meditate in an attempt to control this massive power. Which was proving to be quite effective, despite the difficulties.

''Let's go...''

The mana pillar began to oscillate, showing that it was losing its momentum.

"Let's go...

A huge sandstorm began to form around them. However, the storm did not come close to Altair's body, after all the pillar was protecting him.

''Let's go...''

The mana around him began to glow even stronger than before.

''OBEY ME!'' Altair shouted in a commanding voice as the pillar grew even larger to the point where it exploded. Destroying the barrier in the process.

''What? The barrier was destroyed?'' Le Fay exclaimed in astonishment at the situation.

''NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THAT!'' Shouted Arthur as he held onto the sword stuck in the ground as long as he could.

''LET'S GET OUT OF HERE FAST!'' Bikou shouted turning to his companions.

''LET'S GO!'' Shouted Kuroka at the other's idea.

However, an even more violent gale arose from the mana explosion. Causing a tornado to appear out of nowhere.

Kuroka, seeing this, launched a small fire attack in the direction of his companions, this attack was weak, but it was enough to keep them from being caught by the sand tornado.

However, this eventually gave him the impetus to go in the opposite direction. The direction in which the tornado was originating. And the group of companions who saw this were wide-eyed with disbelief.

Kuroka just gave them a smile...

''KUROKA!''

''KUROKA-SAMA!''

''KUROKA!''

The last thing Kuroka heard was the scream of her companions, before she was swallowed by the tornado, and while inside the tornado, the Nekomata closed her eyes tightly, and held her breath.

She knew that she could not let the sand enter her lungs. Nevertheless, the sand along with the winds of the tornado, cut her skin like butter.

In the region of her arms...

Belly...

Neck...

Shoulders...

Legs...

Cuts began to appear in abundance all over her skin, she even bit her lips to stop herself from letting out a cry of pain. A trickle of blood dripped from her lips, showing the force she was using in her bite.

After a few minutes that seemed like hours, the tornado finally stopped. And when it stopped, Kuroka was lying several meters off the ground. Her body, full of cuts, some were superficial and some were severe.

She probably wouldn't die from these injuries, but the fall would surely kill her.

''Is this the end?'' She said mentally as she looked up at the glow of the moon.

A sad smile formed on her beautiful face.

The moon is so beautiful...'' she murmured softly.

The moonlight illuminated her body, which was falling at high speed. She couldn't move a single limb to try to save herself, her tendons had been severed and the friction of the air wasn't helping her.

To her, everything was moving in slow motion as her life flashed before her eyes.

''Shirone...I'm sorry, but I won't be able to be with you from now on.''

Just as she thought she would no longer be able to see her beautiful little sister, tears began to form in her eyes. She closed her eyes sadly, accepting her death.

All she wanted at the moment, was for her little sister to know the truth, all she wanted was to live together with her little sister, as a real family.

...

I'm sorry...' A serene voice was present in her ears.

At the same time she felt someone carefully holding her, as if afraid of hurting her.

''Who is it?'' She thought as she opened her eyes.

But her vision was blurred, and she could only see a red wig swaying in the wind.

His hair covered his eyes, making them impossible to see at the moment.

''Here, eat this...'' His melodious voice roused her from her thoughts.

He handed her what appeared to be a greenish seed.

Without retorting, she just opened her mouth, allowing him to put the seed in it.

''KUROKA-SAMA!'' A desperate female voice was heard by both of them. Along with that voice were two other people.

Arthur and Bikou...

Looking at that, Altair realized that he ended up drawing too much attention, so after confirming that she had chewed the Senzu Beam, the red-haired man just threw her, gently to the group.

''Kuroka!'' Bikou exclaimed in surprise as he saw her falling towards him, and soon he carefully picked her up.

''She's unconscious.'' He muttered.

''Is he... flying?'' Murmured Le Fay as he looked at Altair who was floating in the air a few feet above them.

His face, even though you couldn't see it clearly, you could still discern that he was young, around 16 years old. And he was not wearing any shirt, which only showed his well-developed physique.

The whole group was looking at Altair, and everyone was perplexed, not because he was flying, but because of the enormous magical power he was emitting.

This power was insane!

''Goodbye...'' Altair's serene voice served to rouse them from their thoughts.

''Wait!'' Exclaimed Arthur, after all, he wanted to talk to someone who possessed that much magical power.

But Altair just ignored them while he made a bluish aura surround his body. So that he could fly even deeper into the desert, because he felt some scary auras locked onto him.

Altair knew that he could go to his home, but he was afraid that these beings that were watching him would follow him and cause a huge damage in the city, and this was not something he would like to see, because even though he doesn't care much about unknown people, he would still feel bad if innocent people die just because of his carelessness.

''Only two auras are watching me...'' he muttered, as he continued advancing deeper into the desert with no intention of stopping.

...

''Looks like he's coming to us...'' The humanoid looking Alligator commented as he sat down in a small sand ravine.

The man in the red suit hearing what the Alligator said had a smile on his face, after searching for so long, they finally found their target. But even though he is excited, he is still surprised because the amount of magic their target had was immense, almost comparable to theirs.

Yes, even if they know that Altair is powerful, they are still not afraid, because they are also strong, and they estimated that at most he would be comparable to only one of them, of course if you disregard the trump card they had up their sleeve.

This battle would cause enormous damage in the desert, and in the future it would be known as the battle that changed the geography of a country...
