Dear Journal,
I woke up alongside Cala and Hilda, we were all in a distraught state. I woke up with the worst headache, so I decided to grab a taxi to ride to The University of Inkwell-Square. I needed to make up for all the work I have missed, or I will not be the best actress on the Inkwell Isles, or even worse, I won't make it to Broadway. I had to attend secondary school every day just to be successful in life. My parents would never be happy if I came home with a grade of 98%, it must be a 100%. Since Hilda Sofia Berg decided to have me hunt her down because she cannot get her act together, I'm pretty sure I am failing my classes, bringing my average down to a 95%. I cannot believe I missed that final exam; Professor Honeybottoms and I had the best relationship. She trusted me enough to tell me she married a woman.
I had to convince Hilda and Cala to come to the university with me. I have been worrying that Cala is at risk of being expelled and I am not sure what I'll ever do without her. Hilda, on the other hand, can never get her act together, but she needs to own up for her actions. No one ever realizes how much work I put into becoming a successful actor, the stress never leaves me.
During the taxi drive, all I could think about was if mine and Professor Honeybottom's relationship were going downhill. Cala and Hilda were both very quiet, I wonder what they're thinking about.
When we arrived, we were greeted by Mrs. Von Bon Bon, who was not ecstatic to meet us. "Girls, office, now", Bon Bon exclaimed. I knew this meant that we were in trouble. We walked into the office and saw Professor Honeybottoms sitting adjacent to Bon Bon. The resentful look on Honeybottom's face created worry for me. "Hilda Sofia Berg, Sally Shirley Stageplay, Cala Maria Zabaneh, your behaviour has been very disrespectful towards the University of Inkwell-Square's theatre community, as well as your classmate Marilyn Rose McGuillan,"Honeybottoms lectured. I began to worry about my relationship with Professor Honeybottoms, she was the one professor I trusted with my life. "Hilda Sofia Berg and Sally Shirley Stageplay, I never want to see your face at the University of Inkwell-Square ever again," Bon Bon intervened, "and for Cala Maria Zabaneh, you need to pay your scholarship money"
I began to cry; I've never been in so much trouble. I would love to prove that all this was Hilda's fault, but Bon Bon would never believe me. I don't understand why Honeybottoms would ever marry Bon Bon, she's so rude.
As Cala, Hilda and I walked out of Bon Bon's office, Cala cried "I'm dropping out, I don't think college is worth all that money, besides, I can learn marine biology in the Inkwell oceans." What have I gotten my best friend into?
