Inside the Jedi Transport, it was full of metal bulkheads, and overall grey and dreary. There was a couple rooms, one that has all of the components to build your lightsaber. This brought you back to your thoughts regarding what challenges you may face in the coming hours. You walked to the other rooms, the 2 small sleeping area, one for girls, and one for guys. The last area is just an area to sit with your fellow younglings. Ahsoka was already sitting down, reading a book about Lightsaber technique, specifically one that uses two lightsabers.

You sat down next to her, while she was intently reading the book. You poked her "Hey Ahsoka, what are you looking at?". She did not even look up at you "Reading this book about duel lightsabers.". You laughed and asked, "Would you mind if I sat with you?". She patted the seat next to you, and you sat.

You both were silent as she was reading for awhile. You were contemplating what was to come in the coming hours, then Ahsoka saw your contemplation. She asked, "What's up?". You sighed "I am just not sure. I am nervous that I won't even get a crystal, or if I am worthy of one.". She closed her book and stared at you intently. "Listen, (Y/N), we are each other's friends. You may not see it, but I am honestly not sure what I would do without you. A lot of my other friends, it isn't as easy to talk to them as it is you."

You smiled and had a small tear in your eye. "Ahsoka, thank you. You are the best friend anyone could have asked for." You wiped the tear from your eye and continued. "I honestly do not think that I would have lasted without you at the Jedi Temple. Just promise me something Ahsoka.". She looked up "Within reason, sure.". You sighed. "Just, don't forget about me please.". She gave you a big hug and said "(Y/N) I cannot forget you. You are my best friend, and we have each other.". She then laid her head on your shoulder. She yawned "We have a long ride ahead of us before we are going to be at Illum. I am going to try to rest up, besides your shoulder is very comfortable." You laughed and said, "I don't think my shoulder is the most comfortable place to be, but I won't argue with getting some rest.". Ahsoka closed her eyes and said "Goodnight (Y/N).".

You felt a little feeling inside of you while she was resting on you. Was this protectiveness? Obviously you cared for her. She was your one friend who you had. You had your parents, but they were different. This, friend? She had your back. There have been multiple times in training, where the other younglings isolated you. If Ahsoka was not there, things may have ended up very differently. You pushed these thoughts out of your mind, feelings are confusing, and you tried to get some rest. As you drifted off into sleep, you saw a figure, watching you from afar.

You were thankfully blessed with no dreams, and as you woke up, you had already landed. You woke up to a bundled up Ahsoka. She smiled "Hey! I was about to wake you. We are getting dressed now and getting ready for the adventure that lies ahead!". You groaned. Ahsoka laughed at you and said, "You have no sense of fun, do you?" She offered you a hand to get up. "Alright, I will be inside the temple whenever you are dressed.". She left you, and that part of your brain went off again. Almost like a part of you went away. You couldn't explain it. You were okay without Ahsoka, but you felt more complete around her. You pushed those thought's aside and got dressed for the wintery weather ahead of your day.

The best way you could describe Illum, is cold. And icy. And Ancient. Emphasis on the ancient. You walked into a cavern. Where there was a large ice door, as well as a chandelier on the other side of the room. Yoda used the Force to use the sun's light into the ice wall, where the ice slowly melted. Yoda spoke "Younglings, tested you will be. Listen to the force, you must. To find your crystal, you must be willing to accept it.". During that last part, Yoda looked directly at you. Yoda spoke again. "In, you must go.". You and the group of younglings went together into the dark icy cave.

It was the eldest of the younglings. There was only 5 younglings in total. It was You, Ahsoka, Christon, a kid named Caleb Dume, as well as a blue chiss, whose name was Taylor. You recognized all of them. Caleb and Taylor followed Christon around, and they had there own little group of people. As soon as you all were out of earshot, Christon said "How come we have to go with the two biggest losers of the entire Jedi temple. You balled up your fists and was about to say a nasty remark. Ahsoka put her hand on you, holding you back. "Too bad, Christon. How come if we are the two worst Jedi in the temple, how come you can't beat as dueling? Or using the force?" Christon laughed "Nice one Tano. Too bad you and your boyfriend are not going to around the Jedi Temple for long." She was flabbergasted "Wha-Wha he, h-he isn't my boyfriend.". Christon smirked "Yeah right. Come on. We got to find our crystals.".

You guys reached a fork in the caves. One was a steep curve down, covered with ice. While the other had a worn stairway going the opposite way. You sighed "Well, I guess there is only one way for us to go, that long and winding staircase.". Christon snuck up behind Ahsoka and pushed her down the slide. He smirked "Oops." Ahsoka fell backwards onto the slick ice slide, falling down and screaming. You yelled out "Ahsoka!". Christon laughed and said "Oh no! What will she ever do alone down there?". You gave Christon a death glare as you slid into the tunnel going down. You could hear him yell "Good riddance!".

When you slid down completely, you saw Ahsoka laying on the ground, groaning in pain. You quickly came to her side. She cursed "Gah, Dank Ferrik. I think I broke my ankle.". You helped her to a seat. You said, "Let me try to mend your bone.". She nodded in agreement. You got on your knees and took a deep breath. You tried focusing on the bone. Forcing the midichlorian to go back together. You managed to mend the bone partially, enough for her to walk on. You rummages through your stuff, and you made a makeshift splint. Ahsoka stopped you for a second. "Hey, (Y/N). Thanks for coming for me. If you wouldn't have, I would be stuck there with my broken ankle, so thanks. I owe you one.". You just shrugged it off. "You would do the same for me". She smiled.

You offered her a hand up, and she gratefully took it. Ahsoka then asked "Hey, uh. How did you do that?". You looked at her weirdly. "Do what?". She rolled her eyes and said, "The healing my leg thing.". You responded, "I don't really know, all I know is that you needed help, so I did.". She limped towards you. "I wish I could do that.". You made sure her splint was secure and offered her a hand. She took it and limped forward. Something caught your eye

Suddenly, there was a figure, somewhat ghostly, leading you through the caves. The caves had many different pathways inside of them. Ahsoka called after you, "Wait up! I can't run so fast. With so many twists and turns, you got led to an ethereal cave. It was completely round. It was mixed with ice and stone, as well as some ancient runes. You heard a slight hum from the wall in front of you. As well as the figure who was leading you, who became more defined.

You asked the ghost, "Who are you? Why did you help me?". The figure laughed, "You have many questions young one. My name is Qui-Gon Jinn, and I helped you because you needed help to find your way.". You stood there with your mouth open. "You are THE Qui-Gon Jinn? Master Kenobi's teacher? I thought you were dead?". Qui-Gon looked at you and smiled. "Ah yes, Obi-Wan. He is kind, and compassionate, but stick's too much to the rules and regulations of the Jedi Order that clunk for being dead, technically I am, but I am one with the Force. I am here because the Force wills it.". You shrugged, "Yeah, that makes sense. But why me though? I am not anyone important. I am just some random person in the galaxy." Qui Gon looked at you with skepticism. "You have a great deal of importance to this galaxy, which you may not realize now, but you will. Now, go and get that crystal." You nodded and went slowly to the crystal implanted into the wall. You took the crystal and pulled it out of the wall. As you inspected it, you accidentally snapped it. A white light enveloped you whole.

You were watching things happen. The first thing you saw, was Master Kenobi and you hugging. It turned into an older you, and you were farming the land in the heat. You could see the sweat on your clothes. As you looked into your future selves eyes, you got transported again. This time you were looking at you with a padawan braid. You gave this man in white and yellow armor a hug. You later saw him give you a blaster, at the outside of the temple. You then saw an intense duel with a hooded figure with a green and blue sword, fighting valiantly against duel red blades. You saw Ahsoka at the door with two blue blades blocking blaster shots from men in blue armor. As you looked at Ahsoka, the scene changed again. It was Ahsoka, a little older, in bed at the temple hospital, holding your hand. She looked at you, with a smile. Then, she pulled your head forwards, and you two kissed.

You were then back at the ice cave, with your broken crystal in hand. You stumbled backwards and fell. Qui Gon was nowhere to be seen. Ahsoka finally found you and ran to you. You heard a faint voice, coming from somewhere. "Rise (Y/N). These are your first steps. Rise, and take them.". Ahsoka held out a hand, and you took it. You studied her face, after that… dream? You studied her face. You weren't sure how long you were staring, but Ahsoka noticed immediately. "Why are you looking at me funny?". You responded quickly "No reason, just was wondering when you'd get here.". She scoffed and said, "If only someone didn't leave me behind.". You smiled, then your thoughts returned to your crystal, which of course which was now in two pieces, which isn't a very good sign. You put it in your pouch and headed into the next part of the caves.

After another long, and many long tunnels ahead of you, Ahsoka heard a faint chime. She then ran in the direction of the chime, swearing it means something. This time, when she stopped, she was at the base of a big hole in the ground, seeming going down infinitely. She then saw a little light, embedded in on the other side of the giant hole. You could also faintly see it, but not as bright as your own.

You told Ahsoka "Hey, I think I see it. Is it literally on the other side of the hole?" She frowned, "Yes. How can you see it though? I read a book once, that the crystal's are only visible to it's destined Jedi.". You shrugged. "Book's aren't always right. Besides, I don't think I will be using yours anytime soon.". She smirked, but then frowned again. She started, "(Y/N), don't take this the wrong way, but I envisioned myself doing this… alone.". You were a little hurt, but you could appreciate where she was coming from. You stated, "I understand Ahsoka, I won't help you, if you want.". Ahsoka nodded her head. "No, no. That isn't what I meant. I need your help. I just needed to say that. I don't have the slightest idea on how to get it.". You shrugged. "Why not call it to you? Use the force and pull it towards you?". She smacked her head. "Duh. That's so easy. Why didn't I think of that?". You smiled. "That's what I am here for, helping you.". She pulled the crystal from the ice, and it went towards her slowly. Ahsoka eventually caught it in her hand. She smiled "Awesome! I am one step closer to becoming a Jedi Knight." You smiled; you admired her enthusiasm. Even though she may be too enthusiastic at times, but it was nice.

Eventually, you two made it back to where you started. The ice wall was almost down completely. Ahsoka and you were running, but her ankle was hurting her. Ahsoka called out to you. "(Y/N) I can't go faster!" You knew she wasn't going to make it in time. So you did something stupid and reckless. You were going to use the force to slide her body towards the entrance. She fell down when you started to use the force on her. You used all of your strength to push her forward's the door. As soon as she was outside the cave, you sprinted for it. The ice was dangerously close to the ground. You dove into the ground, sliding towards the closing door. You barely made it out when the wall closed in. You were met by the rest of the younglings, including Christon. You pushed him out of your way to make sure Ahsoka was okay.

You sat down to her on the ground, where she was sitting, near some healers, which were looking at her ankle. "You alright there?" She then said grumpily "Yeah, I am fine. You could have at least told me that was coming." You smiled and laughed, "Now where is the fun in that? Besides, you are okay now. And, you will get someone to properly heal your ankle, instead of some youngling who has no idea what they are doing" She laughed, "Thank you, (Y/N). For a second there I thought I was going to be left down there to die. And then you came. And thank you for sticking with me the entire time." She enveloped you in a hug. She smelled like your old home used to smell like. She smelled like home. She then let go, when one of the healers wanted to talk to you.

She was enveloped in white robes, with blonde hair. She stuck out her hand, "Greetings, I am Healer Unis. I hear you are the one who mended this bone?" You nodded politely, "Uh, yes ma'am.". She said after, "Well, you did an excellent job. Although it was nowhere near perfect, you mended it together, which is something that is not common. Tell me, how did you do it?". You responded nervously, "Uh, I focused on the bones midichlorian and fused them back together. My friend was in trouble and I had to help her.". Healer Unis looked at you impressed. "Well, job well done. If you don't want to become a Jedi Knight, you should consider being a healer. You certainly have the talent." You smiled, "Uh, thank you Healer Unis. I think I would like to learn more about it in the future." Healer Unis smiled, "In that case, if you are ever over in the temple infirmary, you should come and see me. ". You nodded. "I certainly will, thank you Healer Unis." She smiled and walked to Ahsoka to mend the bone more properly.

While the healers helped Ahsoka, you went over to Master Yoda, to ask about your dream. "Master Yoda, what was my challenge inside of the caves?" He wobbled over to you, "Your specific challenge was to trust in the force, you did. You also were tested in trusting others, hmm?". You shuffled uncomfortably, "Uh, yes master. I think I had a vision of the future.". Yoda said "Hmm? Happen this did, by accident?" You shifted uncomfortably again, "No, Master, I broke my crystal. I don't really know what to do with it, since it is broken.". Yoda laughed, "Good crystals, those are. Make 2 lightsabers, you will.". You laughed a little, then said "Master Yoda, my vision was about the future. I Don't really know what happened. Just glimpses of my life to come. Yoda looked thoughtful, then said "Be mindful of these visions. Deceive you, they can.". You said, "Yes Master.". Then you bowed, and said "Thank you, Master".

You then met up with Ahsoka. She said "Boy, am I tired. That took a lot out of me." You laughed, "We have plenty of time to rest up. The ride to the temple is long.". She smirked, "Good thing you are a comfortable pillow." You both walked back onto the Jedi Cruiser.
