''Damn...'' Riser muttered in irritation.

His body now had countless bruises, and in contrast Altair's clone was completely unharmed.

He was being beaten so easily, but not for nothing. Before the original Altair set off on Issei, he had made a clone by his spear.

And Altair had asked his clone to use True Longinus, and despite the spear spending a huge amount of Mana to use the abilities, he always managed to excel over Riser.

Whenever Riser attacked, the clone would use the power of his spear to clone himself and attack in tandem with them.

A simple strategy, but one that was very effective.

''YOU WORM!'' Riser shouted angrily as he went towards Altair, who just sighed heavily.

''Stretch out!'' Altair said calmly, and the spear suddenly extended, piercing Riser's belly, making him spit blood.

''Grow...'' he dictated, and inside Riser's belly, the spear increased its width immensely, causing the blond to lose the entire upper part of his body.

''Decrease...'' Altair said again, causing the spear to return to its normal size again.

Altair just stood watching Riser's severed body, and he saw that a few seconds later Riser's body slowly began to rebuild itself.

''You damn...'' Riser muttered as he slowly stood up.

''Your regeneration is really impressive, to regenerate an injury like that...'' Altair's clone commented nonchalantly.

But inside, Altair was thinking about how good this Phoenix bloodline was, since it could regenerate the wounds made by True Longinus.

''You smug... DON'T UNDERSTAND ME!'' Riser shouted angrily as he advanced against Altair once again.

But Altair, with a smile, simply threw the spear at Riser, who caught it but soon afterwards Riser realized that it had not been a good idea.

He simply went to the ground with the spear on his chest. And even though he tried everything to get it out of him, nothing worked.

''Give up, you'll never get it out of you...'' Altair commented with a small smile.

Riser's eyes widened as he realized that he was not alone.

''Surprised?'' He inquired with a sarcastic smile.

Beside Altair, there were three more clones of himself, each surrounding Riser who was on the ground.

And with a smile, Altair snapped his fingers to make his clones drive their spears into Riser's body, making him scream in pain.

''I'll take that...'' Altair said as he picked up the True Longinus that was on Riser's chest.

''Or rather...'' He commented smiling as he nailed his True Longinus to Riser's left chest, making him choke on his own blood.

''You can keep it for yourself~'' Altair said giving a sadistic laugh at the end.

''Hey! Don't give him the spear without consulting me first!'' The original Altair complained as he arrived on the scene.

''Come on, are you done yet?'' The clone inquired turning to the original.

''Yes, and from the looks of it so are you.'' He said referring to Riser who was lying on the ground.

''Well, we decided to do a little homage to Jiraiya...'' The clone commented making the four 'Altair' look in his direction.

''Damn, that was too heavy even for me.'' The original commented making the others giggle.

''By all means, take it!'' The clone said removing the spear from Riser's chest and tossing it to the original Altair.

''Ah! Thank you...'' He stopped talking when he saw that the other 'Altair' had disappeared.

''How rude... not even a goodbye?!'' He asked to himself indignant that his clones didn't say goodbye.

''U-Ugh!'' Riser spat out another bit of blood, drawing Altair's attention.

''Shut up, bitch!'' Altair said as he drove his spear into Riser's head.

Riser Phenex was eliminated!

Winner, Altair Lockheart!

''You didn't have to say my full name...'' Altair commented with his cheeks half red. That last name still makes him a little embarrassed.

Altair blinked a few times, surprised, as it seemed he had gained some interesting things this time.

...

...

''Okay, now that all that is over. Provide everything I asked you to, Sirzechs...'' Altair ordered, to the redhead sitting in his office chair.

After defeating Riser, Altair and his minions were teleported to Maou's office, which was a pain in the ass, but still better than showing up at the party.

Many devils were curious about what his spear was, and some already knew what it was, so Altair wanted to save himself the stress.

But above all, the devils wanted him in their nobility, especially the female devils, and Altair already knew that this would happen at some point, so from now on he would have to watch out for the sneak attacks he might receive.

Artoria and Jeanne were leaning against the wall, just waiting for this to be over so they could leave right away.

''Yes, I will be filling out the paperwork and in a few days, you will have everything you asked for.'' Sirzechs explained with a smile.

''By the way, there is something else I would like to ask...'' Altair said catching Maou's attention.

''And what would that be?'' He asked.

''Money.'' Altair answered simply.

Maou blinked a few times, confused. Before he began to laugh openly.

"Hey, what's so funny? Altair inquired irritated that he was laughing at his request.

Actually, Altair at first was not short of money, but because of his high spending and consumption of food, his money had come to an end, so he decided to ask Sirzechs for money.

''N-No... it's nothing... I just...'' Sirzechs replied between laughs, making a vein appear on Grayfia's forehead.

She, with a wave of her hand, turned Sirzechs into a block of ice.

Causing Altair to hiss at the scene in front of him.

When the block of ice broke, Sirzechs could be seen shivering in his chair.

''Forgive me for this Altair-sama, it won't happen again.'' Grayfia apologized while bowing slightly.

Altair just nodded, while keeping an amused smile on his face.

''Well, I will be leaving now. See you, Kai Kai!'' Altair said as he touched the girls' shoulders and teleported out of the underworld.

...

...

After that, Altair together with the girls behind him, went to the apartment to rest for a while, besides that, Altair had made a secret request to Sirzechs.

He asked Sirzechs to do a slight renovation in his apartment, so that in the future it could hold more people, but what he saw when he arrived at his apartment was a big surprise.

Sirzechs had done the renovation ahead of time, which surprised Altair greatly.

The three of them proceeded to the apartment, and when they entered they could not help but be amazed.

The apartment now seemed to be in a western style, and they noticed that when they closed the door, they seemed to be in another environment.

''It's a nice apartment...'' Artoria inquired waking the other two from their thoughts.

Yes...' they replied in chorus.

"So? Are we going to do that?" asked Jeanne turning to Artoria, leaving Altair confused.

"Yes, let's..." confirmed Artoria.

''What do you intend to do?'' Altair inquired, confused by the two girls' speech.

We're going to run to the end of the room, and whoever gets there first wins. Pretty simple, right? Explained Artoria, earning a small nod from Altair.

Altair didn't know the reason for this little dispute, but he didn't care, so he quickly moved to the end of the room, after all, he would serve as the judge of this little running dispute.

He had to admit, this apartment was huge, probably almost 800 square meters, the funniest thing was that outside the door, it was only a 120 square meter apartment.

''Ready...'' Artoria began, getting into position.

''Go!'' Jeanne exclaimed and both girls propelled themselves with everything, making a large crack appear in the floor below them, but soon the crack disappeared, probably some kind of repair mechanism.

Quickly arriving where Altair was, they each touched a different arm of Altair's, practically at the same time.

''Well? Who won?'' Jeanne asked turning to Altair.

Altair just sighed at that, he thought they would run like ordinary people, but it seems he was wrong.

''By a difference of 0.3 seconds, Jeanne won.'' He said causing Jeanne to jump up in celebration, while Artoria knelt down in frustration.

Altair just sighed at this scene.

''They're very lively…'' Altair commented with a smile.

''You should be more excited, Altair…'' Altair placed his hand on his forehead because of those words that suddenly came to his mind.

''Why am I still remembering these things?'' He thought, shaking his head to forget these thoughts.

Maybe…

He's getting too sentimental these days...
