Chapter Seven: Coming Clean: Hawks' Connection to Dabi

Chapter Summary: In a flashback, Toshinori meets Miyu Iwatani again. Back in present day, a month before the closure of the last chapter, Hawks goes to Best Jeanist for some advice. The Hero Work Studies are reinstated as Satoru Aizawa shows up at U.A. Later, the police make a discovery that their evidence locker has been broken into.

Thirty-Two Years Ago

Toshinori was doing everything that he promised his Master that he would do. He was working his way up to being that Symbol of Peace that he promised her that he would be. It had been four long years since he had lost his Master, but even with her passing, he was still striving to make her proud.

His Hero debut had been a big one. Saving a thousand people on his back alone. The thought still came to mind if he was doing his Master proud. What Nana would think of him now?

"Toshinori-sama!" Toshinori stopped, hearing the feminine voice that filled his ears. Catching the cherry blossom and cloves scent next. He stopped walking, turning, and looking up. Sitting on top of the nearby wall was Miyu Iwatani. A former classmate of his. They had graduated from the same class at U.A. Miyu was smiling down at him, one leg crossed over the other. The Omega woman was in her hero costume. A pair of black short shorts, a long-sleeved black shirt and a pair of fingerless gloves. It was finished off with a black pair of boots that went up part of her shin. Her long black hair fell over her shoulders in beach waves and some of the shorter parts of her hair fell into her face. Her stormy colored eyes were locked on him. "I thought that was you."

Miyu Iwatani. The Sensory Hero: Onsight. Toshinori loved her quirk. It was really interesting to him and could come in handy in a tight spot. Sensory Manipulation. Just by looking at someone, she could practically erase away someone's senses. He had been on the receiving end of it before. It wasn't pleasant.

Toshinori's face broke out into a smile. Miyu had been probably his closest friend while in school. She was a kind woman that at times could have a very stern attitude. "Miyu-chan!" He exclaimed, "How long has it been?"

Miyu hummed, "Since graduation." She frowned for a second, a sharp glance coming to her eye, "You are terrible at keeping in contact, you jerk."

Toshinori felt the sweat drop down his forehead. He couldn't exactly tell her the full truth to why he had suddenly stopped contact after school. It wasn't like he meant to. It just kind of happened. He had been so busy after Nana's death in his last year of school and going through his own grief that he knew he drifted away from those around him in favor of throwing himself into hero work.

Miyu pushed off of the wall, landing down next to the Alpha as a smile came back to her face. "Sorry," Toshinori whispered, giving a slight bow, "That last year had been… harsh."

As he got back to his full height, she gave him an empathetic smile, "I know." She didn't go any further on it, instead moving to walk in the direction that Toshinori had been heading. "I've been seeing you in the news a lot lately."

"Yeah, I guess I have been." Toshinori felt the proud grin pull on his face. He paused for a second, looking down at the Omega, "Want to go get some coffee and catch up?"

Miyu smiled and nodded, "I would love too."

One Month Prior to Present Day

Hawks' heart was pounding the entire time since he had left his apartment, throwing all of his clothes and accessories on as he rushed towards the elevator. Honestly, he should have just used the window, but he hadn't even been thinking about it. The information he had been given from Dabi could be their break in this case. Dabi would never actually tell him where the League had stashed the two heroes or risk his packmates getting arrested.

He couldn't even actually come clean about how he got this information without revealing that his source was Dabi. His mission to infiltrate the League of Villains had been classified. Only need to know. Even though, this was given to him under the guise of something else. He couldn't even be positive the information Dabi gave him was true. There was a part of him that believed him completely. Dabi hadn't lied to him yet, but he still was a criminal.

His mind was racing the entire way to the location he was heading. At first, he was going to go to Sir Nighteye – who was actively working on a case against the Shie Hassaikai – but something made him stop. Instead, he had gone to Best Jeanist. Jeanist had always been pretty open minded with him. Willing to help him when he needed it.

And, boy, did he need it.

He pounded on the Number Four Hero's door as soon as he got to it, waiting almost impatiently before Jeanist was opening it up. The Alpha was looking back at him with wide eyes with an exclamation of, "Hawks!"

"I need your help." Hawks muttered.

Jeanist stepped aside, motioning for the Omega Hero to step in. Hawks' heart continued to race. How was he supposed to explain this? Should he check with the Hassaikai just to make sure that Eri was in fact there. That she was a real person in need of help. Dabi had a picture of her. She had to be real. He also said that she would end up connected to Eraserhead, but he was currently at the hands of the League of Villains.

He had already deducted that meant that Shouta Aizawa and Shouto Todoroki would eventually be let go by the League of Villains, but what was the purpose? Why go through the trouble of kidnapping them, setting up this raid against the Shie Hassaikai, just to release them?! It didn't make any sense. He knew he should have some sort of answer in his mind. Like it was screaming at him that he knew it. He had been with Dabi for a while at this point. He knew when to trust Touya. Touya had a soft spot for kids. Especially those who had gone through similar things to him.

There was no way that he was lying about this.

Jeanist had shut the door behind him with a soft click. The Alpha Hero was quick to say, "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be resting at home? We have a long case ahead of us with the League of Villains."

Hawks sighed. He had trained for years to keep this level of emotion down. He wasn't about to let it start showing now. He sucked in a deep breath, turning to face the other Hero, "That's what I'm here about."

Jeanist's eyebrow shot up as he motioned towards his living room. Hawks had taken the moment, slipping out of his boots, and padding over to the couch. He took a seat as Jeanist asked him to elaborate on what he had just said.

"Jeanist… do you think you can be a bit open minded?" Hawks whispered.

Jeanist eyed him for a second but nodded. "Something is clearly bothering you."

Hawks felt the air catch in his throat, but he had managed to calm himself down again as he whispered out, "I might have a lead on this case, but I have no proof of it."

Jeanist blinked, taking a second to process it before humming, "No proof?"

Hawks shook his head, "I can't tell you how I know, but I believe the League of Villains are going to release them."

"Release them?" Jeanist questioned. Hawks nodded. "That's a pretty bold claim to make for something we are still investigating. I wouldn't understand why they would just set them free."

"I don't know either." The Winged Hero replied, "But I gained some intel that the League of Villains is about to come in contact with the Shie Hassaikai."

Jeanist looked confused for a moment, but he continued to listen. Only adding in, "Isn't that the case that Nighteye is working?"

To which Hawks nodded to, "Apparently the head… Overhaul, I believe my informant said his name was… has this little girl named Eri that he's using her body to make quirk destroying bullets."

The Number Four Hero looked shocked to say the least. "How did you get this information? Are you sure it's even true?! What does this have to do with the case that we are working on?"

It was so many questions all at once, but Hawks understood. This entire thing was confusing, and he didn't even know how to begin to explain it without exposing his relationship with Dabi. He didn't know if he could risk it, even if he thought Jeanist might understand him. It would be a risk to reveal it, but at the same time, he could attempt to use it to his advantage, see if there was something that he could get out of this.

There was a part of him that really didn't want to lose Dabi because of all of this. Dabi was the one thing that felt right aside from being a hero. As cliché as it could sound. He had recounted everything that Dabi had told him. He had even sent him Eri's picture not long after he left, and he had shown that to the Fiber Hero.

It did appear to him that Jeanist was believing everything he said. Even when he said that there was a high possibility that this could be connected to the release of Aizawa and Todoroki. He really hoped that Dabi was telling the truth. Begging with everything in him that he wasn't getting jerked around just because he was working on this case against him.

A part of him thought about the Hero Commission. Seeing if they would get approval for him to use this case as a way to further try and infiltrate the League. Dabi would see right through it. They had been sleeping together long enough. They were open and honest with each other. At least, he would like to think so. Dabi did open up to him about his past. It made him understand why Todoroki had been a target. It might not have been just strictly being Dabi's little brother. The League of Villains didn't even know Dabi's true identity. But his tragic past was good ammo to use against him. To use it as a way to try and sway him to their cause. Hawks didn't really know Todoroki, but he knew Tokoyami. Tokoyami was friends with him. Tokoyami had also returned back to him underneath a work study until those got cancelled, telling him all about dorm life and his friends there. How they were a pack now.

He wanted to tell Jeanist that too. That he believed Todoroki was taken not because he was the Number Two Hero's son, but because of what Endeavor had done in the past. He still wasn't positive on Aizawa. He felt like there was another reason behind his abduction. All the video footage made it clear that they were not letting Aizawa get away from them.

"Hawks, I know this is a lot to ask," Jeanist started. Hawks peeked up at him through his hair, noticing that Jeanist was giving him a glance that read sincere but also business. "Who was this informant? It sounds all too much like some inside work with the League for it to come from an outsider. You seem so sure."

Hawks exhaled sharply. Could he trust Jeanist with this? He was trusting him now before he went to Sir Nighteye with this. Honestly, he knew he needed to come clean all together in this situation. Two lives were counting on it. Now apparently a third. It wasn't time to be hiding in a shadow. He needed to tell someone.

"You're going to…" He stopped speaking for a second, unable to actually form the words that he wanted to say.

"I know with the Hero Commission… they make you do things. Rumors have been going around the Hero circuit for years." Jeanist stated, an even sharper glance in his eye now. He was still pushing for the information. "Rumors even about you. The things that the people who work directly for the Commission do. Hawks, if it's vital to this case, I need to know."

Hawks finally relented, picking at his gloved hands before he was saying, "Dabi." He paused as he saw Jeanist's eyes shoot open wide. Almost comically big that it would have made him laugh in any other situation.

"Dabi?!" Jeanist muttered in disbelief. "Why would he tell you that?"

Hawks nodded. "I've been assigned by the Hero Commission to infiltrate the League of Villains. It's top secret and confidential that I'm not supposed to say anything." He paused again, leaning back against the couch before looking back at the Alpha, "But I made a huge mistake, Jeanist."

"A mistake." It was a statement. Like Jeanist was testing the waters and making sure that he had heard that correctly.

Hawks nodded again, "I've been sleeping with Dabi."

The silence filled the room as Jeanist looked at him for a second before looking away. He had brought his hand up, covering where his mouth would be underneath his hero costume. "You have been sleeping with Dabi. Dabi as in the League of Villains Dabi."

"Yeah." Hawks confirmed. He felt so small in that moment. Ready to hear the verbal lashing that he knew Best Jeanist could give. Jeanist was a kind man, but he usually didn't stray from saying whatever came to mind. What he believed. Hawks sighed, feeling the tears well up in his eyes. It had been so long since he cried. Years even. He felt so guilty. He could have easily played parts in Dabi's crimes. The Hero Commission had told him to make sure he can make contact with the League of Villains by any means necessary. He technically could say he was doing that. Just using his body to do so, but even that felt like a lie. There were so many other things that he could do without actually falling in bed with the Alpha Villain.

"The Commission gave you the any means necessary order, right?" Hawks eyed the other Hero for a second before he nodded. "And you are hesitant to talk about this, not because of sleeping with him… but because you might have caught feelings for him."

Hawks hated how Jeanist was hitting that right on the head. Sticking the final nail in the coffin. "I didn't mean to." The Omega whispered. "I never meant for it to get this far, and just suddenly…"

"You can't help what your heart longs for." Jeanist muttered. Hawks' jaw dropped. That had not been the reaction that he had been preparing himself for. Jeanist sighed, clapping his hands together in front of him, "How long?"

"What?" Hawks whispered.

"How long?" Jeanist repeated, looking over his shoulder at him. "How long have you been on that case?"

Hawks exhaled, leaning forward against his knees as he rubbed a hand over his face. "Just after Kamino Ward. The Hero Commission wanted me to infiltrate the League and monitor their movements. That if anything big was happening to let them know and the next steps would come next." He stopped for a second, adding in, "I've been sleeping with Dabi since a few weeks after I made contact with him."

"I see." Jeanist stated, "Did you know about their plans for this?"

Hawks shook his head, "No, and that is the complete truth. I hadn't gotten that far in the case before Dabi found me out."

"So, he knows." The Omega nodded again. "And you are sure he's being honest with you? That your judgement isn't clouded because you have feelings for him?"

"I know I shouldn't believe him. That he's a villain… but he's never given me a reason not to believe him yet." Hawks stated. "I'm fully prepared that this might not be true, but if it is… and there is a little girl out there in pain somewhere and that it might have something to do with the League, I think we should take it."

Jeanist stood up, reaching for his phone as he hummed. Making a sound of confirmation. "I'll trust you on this, Hawks." Jeanist replied, "But I need you to tell me everything. The complete truth. Don't leave anything out." Hawks was hesitant if he was being honest. It felt so invasive to tell him, but he had already admitted to one thing. Jeanist was putting his faith into him. It was the least that he could do.

So, that's what he did.

He started from the beginning. When he had been assigned to the case. How he met Dabi. How they ended up sleeping together. The secrets that Dabi had told him. How Dabi knew his real name. Everything. The only thing he saved for last was the one final detail. Dabi's identity. "The reason I believe him is because…" His sentence trailed, watching as Jeanist's full attention was on him, "Is because he's Touya Todoroki. Endeavor's eldest son."

"That's impossible." Jeanist muttered, "Touya Todoroki died in a quirk accident."

Hawks sighed, "I didn't believe him at first either, until I went digging." The Omega explained. "He knew details that had been sealed away by the Hero Commission. Things that were never released. Like Touya Todoroki only having his jaw found. That wasn't in any reports, but a sealed file at the Hero Commission. He knew too much about the Todoroki family for it to be a coincidence."

Hawks wasn't sure if Jeanist was more shocked about Dabi's true identity or the fact that Hawks had been sleeping with him. Either way, it felt like a relief that Jeanist was actually believing him. Not seeing him as someone just fraternizing with the enemy.

Jeanist exhaled sharply, a slight glow to his eye as he whispered, "Sir Nighteye was right." Jeanist stated, "There is a lot more within this case that we didn't see. There was no way to know that without you telling us. It also puts some more severity onto this case."

Hawks' eyebrow shot up, "What do you mean?"

Jeanist gave him the most serious look that he could with just his eyes alone, "Hawks, blood bonds are just as strong as physical ones are. They could sway Shouto Todoroki to their cause if Dabi reveals the truth of his identity. If everything you just told me about Endeavor is completely true… it just made it that much more difficult."

Hawks was starting to understand now. It was no coincidence that Todoroki just so happened to be picked among his classmates. Sure, the League didn't know, but it didn't mean that Dabi didn't have something to do with influencing that decision.

"Do you think that they might actually release them? I don't understand why." Hawks questioned.

"I think I might have an idea." Jeanist stated. Hawks listened. Giving all the attention that he could. "They might be planning on trying to get their alliance and send them back to U.A. Right to All Might." It was all dawning on him at once. That made the most sense out of every possible theory. Why releasing them was a possibility. "We know they are creating Nomu, but there could be a change that they could experiment on the two. If they do, and it works, they would go right back to their daily lives and it could end in tragedy. Only, time would tell with that."

Hawks nodded, "That makes a lot of sense."

"You need to get in contact with Sir Nighteye. Give him this information about the Shie Hassaikai. If we take Dabi's word for it, there could be a chance to get two birds with one stone."

Best Jeanist was right.

Even if it surprised him in the end. Jeanist had tapped on his phone, bringing it up to his ear as he said, "I need to speak with Detective Tsukauchi."

Well, this is where it was all starting.

It was make or break from here.

Now that he had gotten that off of his chest, he would be able to move forward with this case and they would maybe get somewhere. Even if Dabi was telling the truth and the plan was to release them, if Jeanist was on to something, and they were going to be used as weapons, they would have to get to them as soon as possible.

They couldn't let that happen.

Hawks reached for his phone, pulling up Sir Nighteye's contact before sending the message. It was already late as it was, but he needed to get this to him.

He just really hoped that Nighteye believed him.

"Hawks." Jeanist's voice cut through his thoughts. Hawks looked up just as Jeanist added, "You'll need to tell the others. Can you do that?"

Hawks didn't actually know. Could he? It was one thing to tell Jeanist, but he would be saying it in a room with people who had been affected by the League of Villains. This could turn bad very quickly.

"About sleeping with Dabi?"

Jeanist shook his head, "We could leave that part out… but can you reveal that you have been working to infiltrate the League? So, when we provide this information… they won't ask questions."

Hawks placed a hand on the back of his neck before muttering out, "I can."

Well, here they go.

X

Hawks had been surprised with how well Sir Nighteye had taken the information. Best Jeanist had gone with him, but he had kept out the part that he had been sleeping with a villain as he recounted his story to him. Sir Nighteye had taken the information into account and thanked him for it. That had put the first part of their newfound plans into motion.

Hawks had found himself at U.A., standing before the teachers with the President of the Hero Commission along side him. He had already pitched the idea to them, and it had been approved, now it was time to speak to the U.A. Faculty. Hawks almost couldn't look at Present Mic as he sat there. Mic was Aizawa's husband. Out of everyone in that room, he was feeling this most.

Hawks kept his back straight as he had addressed them all. Just like with Nighteye, he had revealed to them all that he had been working on a case against the League of Villains and that he believed that they should clear their students to allow work studies again.

"I don't believe this is wise." Midnight stated, "I understand that Aizawa's class wants to be out there looking, but the League of Villains are involved."

"This could one of two ways." Ectoplasm stated, "Either the students will attempt to go rogue if we deny this or we allow it, and they can work alongside the heroes."

Hawks placed a smile on his face, "If anyone understands the severity of this situation, it would be those kids. It's my belief that if you allow for them to return to work studies, that it would gave them the sense that they are doing everything that they can to help. Rather we place them in combat or not."

"This could be risky." Nezu stated.

"I understand that, Principal Nezu." Hawks replied, "The choice is ultimately up to you. I believe that they would be a lot of help with trying to find the whereabouts of their own packmates." He put as much emphasis on the words as he could. Trying to get his point across. For a split second, he made eye contact with Present Mic.

After a brief moment of silence, Present Mic added in, "Aizawa…" Eyes had turned to him, "He would probably be for keeping the suspension because of the League of Villains… However…"

"After Kamino Ward, I fear they would go rogue again." All Might added. His fists balled on the table.

"Exactly." Mic interjected. "It feels like the better option to allow those kids to get involved. Even if it's a minor role. It will keep them from going out and being reckless. Taking off on their own because we told them they can't do anything to help."

Hawks felt the smile tug on his face. Even now, Mic was still taking Aizawa's option into account. Even if he wasn't here.

"For those for reinstating the Hero Work Studies, say I." Each and every single one of the heroes rose their hands. Giving their confirmations. "Alright that settles it, we will notify the students."

"It would be my recommendation to split up the students among the heroes working the case." Hawks stated.

"Given the information provided by Hawks, I would say we need to follow this lead." All Might stated.

"The Hero Commission believes it would be best for Sir Nighteye to continue on with the case of the Shie Hassaikai and if the League's involvement is confirmed, then to add in the other heroes." Madam President stated, "That way if this is a false lead, time won't be wasted. There are still so many possibilities that could occur here. Thank you for your time." She stated before she was making her leave.

Hawks watched her back as she left the room, the tension that was in his shoulders leaving as he looked back at the others, "It's going on a month since they were abducted. I believe we need to have eyes everywhere. Just in case."

"Hawks is right." Snipe stated, "It's better that way."

"Agreed." Nezu stated. "We will arrange notifications to the students that their work studies will be reinstated."

Hawks nodded, a slight smile coming to his face as he gave his goodbye and leaving the room.

It was all falling into place.

He just hoped with everything, that this worked out in favor of the heroes.

Hang in there a bit longer Shouto… Eraserhead. We're coming for you.

X

Present Day

It had came to a complete shock to them when they were notified that they would be resuming their work studies. Some of them had already found places to go. Midoriya was going to Sir Nighteye's Agency. Kirishima would be heading off to Fatgum alongside Bakugou since Best Jeanist was still on a hiatus and the offer had been extended. Asui and Uraraka would be off to Ryuku's agency. Tokoyami would be returning back to Hawks. The others were still looking among the heroes that were working the League of Villains case, but many were still left in limbo.

Classes had ended for the day, even though many of them at this point, were no longer putting effort into classes anymore. Even if they tried, none of them could keep their minds on it.

As they were returning back to the dorms, Shinsou had suddenly stopped walking, a frown on his face as he tilted his head, "Who the hell is that?" He had pointed up, leading all their attention to a man who was standing on top of Heights Alliance. He seemed to notice that they were there as he jumped down a second later.

He now stood in front of them. His shaggy white hair falling around his face, long-sleeved black shirt and black slacks and a pair of black boots. But it was the cloth over his eyes that had most of them stunned. It was surprising that an Omega scent was coming off of him.

Their guards immediately went into overdrive. Many of them standing in fighting stances and ready to fight at any given chance. "Wait, the alarms aren't going off." Midoriya whispered.

"I've never seen this extra before." Bakugou hissed, popping off a small explosion in his palm.

The man chuckled for a second raising his hand, "Sorry to worry you all." He stated, "I'm actually here about Shouta Aizawa and Shouto Todoroki."

"Who are you?" Yaoyorozu questioned.

The man smiled as he reached up, pulling the cloth from his face to reveal his bright blue eyes. Midoriya gasped as he muttered out, "Wait a second."

"Sorry, that's rude of me." The man stated, "My name is Satoru Aizawa."

The students had dropped their guards almost immediately as Uraraka whispered, "He's the guy from that picture."

The man—Satoru kept the smile on his face. "It's a pleasure to meet all of you finally." He sighed as he placed the cloth back around his eyes, now gazing around. "This place has changed a lot within the last fifteen years." He pulled out a badge from his pocket, showing that he had an unrestricted Visitor's Badge with his picture on it. "Last time I was here, it was Shouta's graduation."

A few of them shared looks. They wanted to be happy to meet a member of Aizawa's family, but considering the circumstances, they couldn't be. Midoriya was the one to step forward, giving a slight bow, "It's nice to meet you, sir. Even if it's under these circumstances."

"You must be Izuku Midoriya." Satoru stated as the Alpha boy got back to full height. The Omega male tilted his head, a slight smirk coming to his face, "You're Shouto Todoroki's boyfriend."

Midoriya blinked, taken back by the newcomer. "How did you—"

"My quirk, kid." Satoru stated.

"Your quirk?" Midoriya questioned.

Satoru nodded, "My quirk is called Perception. Just by looking at you, I knew." This had left them stumped, but Satoru didn't stay on that subject long, "I came here to speak to All Might. Know where I might be able to find him?"

Midoriya shook his head, "Sorry, sir, but All Might isn't on campus right now."

Satoru hummed. "I see." He paused for a second, settling a finger to his lip like he was in thought, "It's really important I speak to him, so I'll be around until he gets back. Principal Nezu already knows I was going to arrive today."

"Want to tell us why you were standing on the roof of our dorm?!" Bakugou snapped.

Satoru's head turned in his direction, with a tilt of his head, he used the same finger that was leaning against his lip to point at this eye. "I was using my quirk. I've been going practically nonstop since I got word about my son's abduction. It hasn't come up with anything yet." Just the look on Midoriya's face gave away just how much he wanted to question Satoru about his quirk, but it was quickly moved on as Satoru asked for them to speak with him. Tell him more about Aizawa and Todoroki throughout the school year. "It could be a bit better for using my quirk if I have more of an understanding of the pack dynamics between you all and more of an understanding of Todoroki."

With slight hesitation, they agreed, heading into Heights Alliance as they wanted for the return of All Might.

They had settled down among the Common Room. Yaoyorozu had gone off for some tea for all of them, while Satou joined her to get some snacks. Satoru had taken a place on one of the couches, and Midoriya had taken the moment to break the ice, "You have your eyes covered but how can you see with that?"

Satoru hummed and nodded. "Yeah, that's right." He reached up again, pulling the cloth from his eyes as a gentle smile came to his face. "My eyes are extremely sensitive because of my quirk. I can't turn my quirk off. It just keeps going and going, so I cover my eyes. I can still use my quirk even with it on, but it helps keep the headaches away."

To keep a casual conversation, they continued to ask him a few more questions. Keeping them short and simple as Yaoyorozu and Satou returned and took seats around the room. "So, you are Aizawa-sensei's father?" Iida said.

Satoru nodded. "Yeah, I just finally got back to help with trying to bring them home."

"What do you need to talk to All Might about?" Midoriya questioned.

For a split second, there was a dark look that came to the Omega man's face. It was hard to tell with his eyes covered, but they were all sure that whatever it was, it had to be serious.

"I do apologize, but it's not my place to say to you." Satoru replied, "However, why don't you tell me about the dynamics between all of you and Shouta and Todoroki-kun."

Tsukauchi was growing more infuriated by the second being one step behind the League at all times. There were no full solid leads with the exception of the one that Hawks gained. The hero course students had been reinstated which gave them more eyes on the case. It was infuriating to know that they could be so close, but yet, so far away. They couldn't find even a trace of where the League had ended up.

No matter how many hours they combed over everything it was like the League wasn't leaving wherever they were hiding out. They were making it feel like it was almost impossible to actually find them.

Tsukauchi really was starting to hope that everything that Hawks learned that they would get something concrete from it.

He sighed in frustration as he leaned back in his chair, covering his mouth and nose with his cups hands for a second as he shook his head. This was getting on his nerves. He just wanted to get these two home safely and he couldn't lose faith that they would be able to do it. That they would be able to orchestrate a rescue operation like they did with Bakugou.

"Detective Tsukauchi, we have a problem." Tsukauchi paused as Sansa came rushing through the door. All the dread pooled in his stomach as the other officer sputtered out, "The evidence locker was broken into…"

Tsukauchi shot out of his chair, exclaiming out, "What?! What was taken?!"

"Shouta Aizawa's wedding ring."

X

It had been a week since Shouto had accepted Shigaraki's hand. The promise that the League of Villains from this moment on would leave his classmates along. They were his pack. His family. His friends. If doing this could ensure their safety, he would do it. He couldn't even begin to explain why he agreed. Why he had accepted Shigaraki's hand. It felt like a spur of the moment decision from the anxious feeling of Aizawa being taken away again, finding out that Touya was Dabi, and so many things that were mixing together.

There was almost a familial feeling among the League from the time that he's been here. An undeniable pull to them that he couldn't even explain. He had no words for it. He was seeing the good in them. He knew it was wrong. They were villains. He shouldn't be empathizing with them, but now he was seeing things he never should. It was like something was influencing his decision making and he couldn't place it.

Maybe, it was because they were reminding him more and more of living in Heights Alliance. Of his friends. It felt so wrong. These people were the same people responsible for kidnapping them. Kidnapping Bakugou. For putting so many of his packmates into the hospital.

It was like every single passing day he was starting to get even more comfortable with them. They were reaching out to him with a kind hand. Encouraging him into doing activities with them. Kurogiri was trying to teach him to cook. Even taught him how to make alcoholic drinks – that he didn't drink, Aizawa would kill him – that he gave to the others, and they happily drank them down. Toga was teaching him more about how to use knives. Much to amazement. They were actually handing him something that he could use against them, but he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Shigaraki hadn't put that quirk canceling collar back on him. His neck was already starting to heal up from it. More than once, he found himself scratching at his skin, to which, Shigaraki would pull his hand away. Telling him it's not worth accidentally scarring himself and would motion at his own neck.

He had been getting closer to Dabi. Learning more about who his brother is and how him and his siblings were before his presumed death. According to him, he was closer to Natsuo than Fuyumi. Which Shouto was inclined to believe. Natsuo still had issues with Endeavor over Touya. Touya was such a touchy subject in their house. Shouto wanted to ask Dabi if he would ever want to reveal himself to their other siblings, but he had never gained an answer.

It was like he had found more friends here.

He should hate it, but he actually… didn't.

Shouto was still worried for Aizawa. That anxiety that remained. Aizawa was the closest thing to a father that he had. He refused to see Endeavor as his father. Aizawa had been everything that Endeavor should be. The worry continued to grow in him with each passing day. Aizawa was going to be so disappointed in him for agreeing to Shigaraki's terms, but there was a part of him that believed Shigaraki. In what he was saying.

The only thing that he didn't agree with was the want to kill All Might. Shouto looked up to the Symbol of Peace. He could remember watching All Might on the TV as a kid with his mother, and the words she had said to him.

He wondered what Rei would think knowing that her eldest child was a villain, and that Shouto had agreed to align with them. Still, he didn't want to hurt anyone. He still wanted to be a hero. It was so conflicting. He couldn't even understand it. He wanted to speak to Aizawa, but it felt like it was so far away. There was no way of knowing what was going on with the man. None of the League knew where they had gone. He wondered if maybe it was to make sure no information leaked out.

Currently, he found himself outside with Shigaraki and Dabi. He knew that he should just run for it. If he used his ice, he could get out of there quickly. He could maybe hide away and throw them off. He could get someone's attention.

But he didn't want to.

He wanted to stay.

He balanced over some of the rocks that were in the small stream, keeping his balance to keep himself from falling in. Shigaraki was doing the same thing while Dabi sat away from them. Dabi must have known something was on his mind as he said, "Spill, Shouto. What's going on in your head?"

Shouto stumbled on his feet slightly, balancing on the rocks again as he looked over to his elder brother. He exhaled sharply, turning to look out towards the woods that surrounded them. "I wonder how they are doing." He whispered.

"Probably freaking out." Shigaraki stated, moving to a different rock. "You'll see them again soon."

Shouto hummed, putting his focus back on what he was doing. "You are really just going to let us go?" Shigaraki hummed in response. "I don't see why."

"Master said it's what's best." Shigaraki replied, jumping back, and landing back on the grass. "But you will always have us as allies. You are one of us now, Shouto."

There was more to it than that. A part of him wondered if these plans were even truly just all the League of Villains. If it was All for One calling all the shots. Though, they seemed adamant about gaining their alliance. They wanted them. They wanted him for him. Not because he was Endeavor's son. He still felt so lost.

All he knew was, he wanted Aizawa here with him. He would follow Aizawa. Though, he would always have a connection to the League of Villains. He knew that. He would never be able to deny it anymore.

He could feel a pool of nausea come to his stomach as he paused his movements. The Omega reached down, settling his hands on his stomach as he heard Dabi say, "Are you okay?"

He felt like he was about to puke.

"Shouto?"

Shigaraki tried.

Only, the second he opened his mouth, an awful taste goo, slime? He didn't even know, came rushing out of his mouth.

He could hear their terrified shouts as he looked over at them. He knew this stuff. It was the same thing that took Aizawa from them. The fear came to the pit of his stomach as he reached out, trying to get Shigaraki's hand before it all went dark.

The darkness quickly was gone and was replaced by dim lighting as he landed on his feet. He gagged and coughed from the disgusting taste in his mouth. He felt like he was about to release the contents of his stomach all over the floor as his eyes adjusted to the light. The fear went down his spine from that feeling. The feeling that overcame him every single time that he got in contact with All for One.

The feeling of pure evil.

His heart started to pound as he finally glanced up, seeing All for One sitting in a chair directly ahead of him. The Omega couldn't contain it as he took a step back, preparing to use his quirk. All For One was smirking at him, head tilted as he purred out, "Oh, Tomura took off your collar."

"Where am I?! Where's Aizawa-sensei?!" He exclaimed.

He wanted to be back with the others. He didn't want to be here, but at the same time, this is where Aizawa was. He could see his sensei now.

"Concerned for him?" All for One questioned.

"Of course, I am!" Shouto retorted. The Omega looked around, looking for any signs of Aizawa but he had paused as he saw the bed next to him. It wasn't the fact that there was a bed, but it was covered in blood. Streaks of blood going across it. Small puddles in some places. The Omega's eyes widened as he whispered out, "Whose blood is that?"

"I think you know the answer to that." It came out almost as gloating. Shouto felt so much anger going through him as he turned towards All for One. All the anger coursing through him as he felt a sting in his eyes. A low, feral like crawl erupting from his throat as he felt his body moving practically on its own. "Oh, cute. Just the sight of his blood is sending you into a frenzy."

Aizawa was hurt. This man hurt him.

"I'm going to kill you." Shouto hissed. He felt the ice grace his right side and the fire erupt from his left side. The Omega couldn't see all of All for One's face, but he couldn't control what he was feeling as he slammed one foot down, the ice erupting out and freezing the man to his chair. "What did you do to him, you monster?!"

It was surprising that the villain didn't act yet. The Omega knew he was in overdrive in his instincts. This wasn't the right move. This could get them both killed, but he was just so angry. A fury that was scorching through him that was breaking out.

"You should have seen his face." All for One continued. "It took hours to break him. Though, I think there might be a chance that he's not even completely broken yet. There's so much fight in him. Even as I had my sweet time with him. Have you ever—"

"Shut up!" Shouto screamed.

All for One sighed and the Omega froze as cracks in the ice started to appear before it shattered, and the wind pressure picked up in the room that sent him flying back. Shouto was quick to shove himself to his feet. All the anger that he had now replaced with a fear in his stomach. Much to his surprise, All for One didn't lash out at him, instead, reached a hand out to him. Shouto felt sick to his stomach. This man raped Aizawa. He had admitted it to him, and he was holding his hand out to him?!

"I had to do what I had to do. Tomura refused to do a main part of our plans for the two of you." Shouto was confused as he looked up at the man. What was he talking about? This man wanted Shigaraki to do that to Aizawa?! And Shigaraki said no?!

"What are you talking about?" Shouto questioned. His voice had cracked. He almost didn't want to know the answer.

"Imagine what those heroes would think if their dear Eraserhead came back knocked up by a villain?" Shouto almost couldn't breathe. Hearing the gloating within his voice. Okay, that at least meant one thing. Aizawa was alive. "I would love to see All Might's face when he finds out."

"Does that mean… he's…" He almost couldn't finish it.

"We won't know for some weeks." All for One hummed. "But there is a very high possibility. He's currently in the tank right now going through rewiring."

Rewiring?

"What?" Shouto looked over to the door, "Please… let me see him."

All for One smirked. "Fine." Shouto refused to take the man's hand as he went for the door, being followed by the villain. All for One reached out, opening it up and motioning out, "After you." Shouto glared at him but went through it. The room was dark but filled with tanks. All of them full of a purple liquid. The Omega's heart stopped for a second as he realized what were inside.

Nomu.

They walked for what felt like forever before Shouto say him. He rushed forward, his hands landing on the glass of the tank. "Aizawa-sensei!" He punched at the glass, doing anything to try and get his teacher's attention. The Omega Hero was inside one of the tanks. His black hair flowing around him, a mask over his face, and his eyes closed. There was a monitor next to the tank that had a heartbeat displayed on it and some other things that Shouto wasn't sure what they were. He could see the marks and bruises that littered over the older Omega's body. He laid his hands flat against the glass, leaning his forehead against it a second later as he squeezed his eyes shut. "Why are you doing this to him? He loves Present Mic-sensei… he makes him so happy. What did Aizawa-sensei do to ever deserve this? He has put everything on the line for us time and time again…" His voice trailed as he felt himself choking up. It hurt to see Aizawa like this. Aizawa was always so strong. Even now. Going through all of this if it meant that Shouto didn't have too. That had been hanging over his head the entire time. "Aizawa-sensei deserves to be happy."

"You really care for him." All for One muttered. Shouto nodded. "He also is the same man who has treated you like his own despite everything." Once again, Shouto nodded. "And you don't want me to hurt him anymore. Unfortunately, Present Mic is just a causality in all of this, but I believe that man will still care for your dear Shouta even after you return."

"Don't. Just don't… don't hurt him anymore." Shouto stated, "I'll do anything."

"Anything, huh?" All for One replied. Shouto froze as he felt the finger glide across his face, right directly over his scar. His eyes snapped open as he side-eyed the villain. All for One had dropped his hand as soon as he did the action. "Funny, he said the same thing about you."

Shouto paused for a second. Letting All for One's original words sink into his mind. Rewiring. What was that supposed to be? He looked back at the tank, the probs that were stuck to Aizawa's head. The lights that they illuminated. "What are you doing to his brain?"

All for One made a noise, "Just a bit of rewiring." He stopped for a second, moving to Shouto's other side. That really didn't give him an answer. What did he expect? This man was never going to answer him.

"You said you were trying to impregnant him." Shouto hissed. His gaze landed on Aizawa's flat stomach. "What could that even accomplish?"

"Everything." The Omega looked over to the villain. The morbid curiosity going through him now. "First, we spiked his instincts. Got him in touch with the raw instincts that all Omegas have. Next, I sent him to Tomura with the expectation that he would listen. Unfortunately, he didn't, so that's when I had to take matters into my own hands. Now, we are just waiting for results to happen." He explained, "Because of that spike in instincts, and our constant threats against you, he'll never let anything happen to any child he will ever bear."

"How are you so sure that he wouldn't just… end it?" Shouto hissed.

All for One smirked again, "That's why we tapped into that raw instinct." He stated, "Those instincts will never let him. He will do anything to protect the life of his unborn child. He will see that so called hero society will want to kill that child, and it will send him right back into the waiting arms of Tomura's pack. He accepted Tomura as pack. The two of you will always have a home with them. Even as hero society turns against you both."

"Both of us?" Shouto pushed.

All for One turned his head, looking at him now. "You accepted Tomura's offer to join the League of Villains. You are now an accomplice. Tomura will make this a world where you can be whatever you want to be. I'll ensure the futures of all of you."

Shouto tsked. Gritting his teeth. If he was here, he might as well fight for answers. "You never did tell me why you are messing with his head."

The most sadistic smirk that he had ever seen came to All for One's face. "When we send you back, there will be a fight. I will fight All Might again, and in the case if I lose…" He turned his head towards the tank and motioned at Aizawa, "He will be our inside weapon. Just All Might's name alone will set him off when we're done with him."

Shouto choked on the air in his throat. So, that's what it was. They were going to use Aizawa to kill All Might. He couldn't allow for that. He didn't even know how to stop this. He would never be able to. He was helpless in this situation. "I thought you wanted Shigaraki to be the one to kill him."

"As long as if he dies, it's fine by me however it happens." All for One replied, "Shigaraki will face off against Izuku Midoriya one day." Shouto's heart skipped a beat at the mention of the Alpha. The guilt that started eating away at him knowing that Midoriya was going to be betrayed. He was pulled out of his thoughts by All for One adding, "Yes, it's been working just as I hoped."

Shouto was confused, until All for One motioned towards the tank. The Omega teenager paused as he noticed that Aizawa's hand was laying flat against the side of the tank, even with his. Aizawa's eyes were still closed. "What is happening?"

"His instincts are running so high that he subconsciously reacted to you." All for One stated, "He's turning out nicely."

Shouto was stunned. He never heard of such a thing happening. He couldn't even explain what Aizawa was currently in, but somehow, he was reaching out to him. He felt the prickle in his eyes as he leaned his forehead back against the tank. He gasped as he noticed, Aizawa did the same thing.

"Perfect." All for One whispered.

Something about the way he said that made Shouto feel even worse.

X

It was dark by the time they got back to U.A. Both him and Mic had been out for hours following the school day looking for any leads that they could possibly find. Of course, they found none. It was starting to infuriate him more than anything. He never felt so helpless in a situation before now.

What kind of Symbol was he if he couldn't even save a friend and a student?

How could he let this happen again?

He had been overworking himself. He knew it. But he had to do something. It seemed like no one could find a simple answer. The only person who did so far was Hawks, and even All Might was a bit timid to take it. He was willing to try anything at this point. Anything to bring Aizawa and Todoroki home. He couldn't imagine what they were going through. He knew just how sadistic All for One was. Anything could be happening to them, and it only worked to fuel that hatred and anger that All Might was experiencing.

Ever since that day that they went through the file, he couldn't get his mind off of Miyu. Aizawa's mother. They had been really good friends. Even at a point, she had been one of the most special people in his life. He never knew she had a child. Got married. The more he thought about it, the more he saw snippets of Aizawa in her and vice versa. He still couldn't believe it.

It made him want to get physically ill.

Did his connection to Aizawa's mother have something to do with this?

What he did know was, he would do anything, vowing that he would bring the two home. Even if it was the last thing that he did. He was a hero, and he wasn't about to abandon them to the Symbol of Evil.

All Might had decided before he headed back to his dorm for the night, that he would going to stop in at Heights Alliance before he did so.

He made sure to get into his muscle form before he had walked into the door, stopping in his tracks as he saw the head of white hair sitting among the students. His instincts felt like they were ready to go into overdrive, but he managed to contain himself as he slipped out of his shoes, and set them off of the side, slipping into a pair of slippers before he was walking fully into the room.

All the anxiety he had been feeling start to seep out of him as he rounded the room. The only thing keeping him calm was how relaxed that the students looked. They were all talking to him. They looked interested in what he had to say.

The man didn't even look up or hear him speak before he was saying, "Hello, All Might." All Might stopped, eyes going wide as blindfolded eyes turned towards him. "Just the man I was waiting for."

"Who are you?" All Might questioned.

Midoriya stood up, a smile on his face, "His eyes are covered, but this is Aizawa-sensei's father. We were explaining to him about our pack dynamics. He's been here for a few hours now."

The closer he got a look at this man's face; he could see that he had was in fact the man in the photo he had seen. Just a bit older now. "Satoru Aizawa."

The man—All Might caught his scent, catching the Omega pheromones that radiated off of him. Satoru was smiling at him as he stood up, giving a slight bow, "I wish meeting you was under better circumstances, All Might-san." Satoru stated, getting back to his full height. "Miyu spoke very highly of you."

All Might really wished that he could be happy to hear that from him. That he could reminiscence on the life that had been Miyu Iwatani – no, Aizawa. This man had been her husband. Satoru's very presence was reminding him more and more of his short comings as a hero. He never should have walked away from them. Maybe, if he had been there, that he had stayed, this never would have happened.

It has already been far too long that the two were at the hands of villains.

"Likewise." All Might replied, holding out his hand to shake the Omega's hand. Satoru took it, giving a quick shake before his hand was dropping again. "So, you were looking for me?" He was confused on why Satoru Aizawa was searching him out. It could be because he was the Number One Hero. It seemed like the best option. He would assume that being Mic's Father-In-Law, that he would have sought him out instead.

Satoru looked over to Mic now, giving him a soft smile, "It's nice to see you again, Hizashi." He muttered as Hizashi gave him a bow. "How are you holding up?"

Mic shook his head, the dark glance cast to the floor. "I feel like I can't breathe without him here. I'm so pissed off about Todoroki… I'm so angry. I can't even explain everything I'm feeling."

"That's alright, Hizashi." Satoru whispered, giving him a firm pat on the shoulder, "That's why I'm here. Maybe, I can give some assistance. We'll get them home."

All Might was watching their interactions. This was the most at ease that Hizashi had actually looked since finding out that his husband and student had been kidnapped. There was still tension there, but there was some calm in him finally.

"Any sign of him, Satoru-san?" Hizashi questioned.

All Might's eyebrow shot up as Satoru shook his head, "Unfortunately not within a fifty-mile radius of U.A. If they are anywhere within that area, they are being concealed quite well or something is masking their presence." The Omega explained. "That is always a possibility, considering all the quirks that All for One must have built up all these years. They could be close by for all we know."

All Might knew that Satoru was hitting it right on the head. He didn't want to imagine what his co-worker and student were going through. They didn't do a thing to deserve this happening. They were all aware of Shigaraki's seemingly praising of Aizawa. Especially after the USJ. It had been confirmed by Midoriya, Shinsou, and Asui who all heard it for themselves. Erasure was also a very appealing quirk to have. Todoroki was an excellent fighter with a powerful quirk. They would be good allies for someone to have. Though, All Might was confident that it wouldn't be the case. Aizawa was a hero through and through and Todoroki was striving to be one. They wouldn't bow to the villainy at work against them.

All Might could feel the need to bring them home growing more and more with each passing down. Like hope was being drained away, but he refused to give up on them. He would use every single bit of the last of his power if it meant bringing them back. He was prepared to do the same thing for Bakugou, and he was sure that would have been the case if All for One hadn't made a quick exit.

"What is it that I can help you with?" All Might questioned.

Satoru looked at him, the seriousness back on his face now, "All Might-san, I believe this would be better in… private." There was something about the way he was saying that. There was a small quirk of his lip as he mouthed time. All Might had been shocked by that. All Might was near hitting his time limit for the day. There was no possible way that this Omega would have known that at all. "Hizashi, you might want to stay for this."

"How about we head over to my dorm?" Hizashi questioned, "That way the two of you can talk."

"That's fine by me." All Might added in.

Satoru turned towards the students, giving a bow, "Thank you so much for your time. Your insight helps me a lot."

"Anything to help, Satoru-san." Ashido stated.

"I wish there was more we could do." Kirishima added.

Satoru smiled at them before he was turning back to them. Before All Might could turn to head back towards the door, his phone buzzed in his pocket. His ring tone blaring out that had him scrambling for his phone. He managed to fish it out, stopping as he saw: Tsukauchi Naomasa flashing across his screen.

There was a glimmer of hope in the pit of his stomach was he answered it and brought it up to his ear, quickly giving his greeting. "Tsukauchi, what's going on?" The deep breath on the other side of the line wasn't giving him high hopes anymore. It sounded defeated. "Tsukauchi?"

"Is Present Mic still with you?"

"Yeah, he is." He looked over, making eye contact with Mic for a moment. Mic's interest had been peaked. Completely faced on him. Through the corner of his eye, he could see the others also looking at him now. "What's wrong?"

Mic's eyes had widened, the fear flashing on his face as his mouth dropped like he was going to say something.

"Earlier today, the evidence locker had been broken into." All Might felt his chest tightened. The evidence locker held everything that they knew about this case. It held Aizawa and Todoroki's cell phones that were bagged and tagged. He could only come to the conclusion that if he was getting a call about it, it was connected to their abduction. "We have confirmed that it was in fact the League of Villains. Tomura Shigaraki to be exact. We can't be positive that it was the real him, and not just Twice's quirk."

"What did they take? Did they take all the files?!" All Might was prepared to shoot out every question that came to mind.

"No, but they did take something of importance."

"What was it?" All Might pushed.

After a brief moment of silence, Tsukauchi finally replied with, "Shouta Aizawa's wedding ring. IT was the only item that was take. Everything else was left undisturbed. We are going to notify all the heroes involved in this case, but I wanted to let you and Present Mic know before anyone else."

All Might nodded even though he knew that Tsukauchi couldn't see him. "Thanks, Tsukauchi. I'll tell him." As soon as he gave his final goodbyes and hung up the phone, Mic was up to him. The fear in his eyes.

"All Might, did something happen? Did they—are they?" Mic couldn't hardly even make a full sentence now as All Might slid his phone into his pocket. "All Might, please." All Might sucked in a deep breath before repeating what Tsukauchi told him. "All Might, what did they take?"

All Might straightened his back, preparing to Mic to get angry as he said, "Aizawa-kun's wedding ring."
