Ben had awoken to the voice of an angel.

"Wake up. Please come find me. Please ... save me ... beloved."

He gasped, basked in sweat, to the sight of a cloudy sky.

He felt grass underneath him as he sat up.

The cool blowing winds refreshed him as he grasped where his heart laid; beating erratically.

He couldn't see their face.

It was a female voice though.

But the voice didn't match Julie's.

He took notice of his surroundings.

It was an open field with a view of a metropolitan city in the distance; the skyscrapers poking out. It was no Bellwood, that's for sure.

But he was missing two certain people.

"Gwen? Kevin? You two around? Hello!?"

No response.

He had no clue how he ended up here at all.

The last thing he remembered, they were at Mr Smoothy, and Gwen dumped her smoothie on his head.

As he jumped to his feet right away and dusted himself off, he pulled out his Plumber's badge and tried turning it on but all he received was static.

"Okay, this is getting freaky."

The booming echoes of a distorted voice caught his eardrums.

"Attention one and all."

He stashed it back in his Leatherman pocket before sprinting off in that ominous direction.

And he wasn't the only one ...

"I hereby welcome you all."

Emitting several twinkle of embers from her form as the red headed Bloom walked out of the empty flower shop; reminiscent of her adopted mother's flower shop, after waking up amongst the potted plants.

"This isn't Alfea ... how did I get here then?" She murmured asking herself.

"I've summoned you all here for a reason."

She was startled out of her skin as she jumped from the booming deep voice.

She cautiously followed it down the shopping street to the bustling Plaza center ...

"You cannot have order without chaos."

The rustled head of one Ky Stax popped out of a pile of cluttered filled boxes as he crawled through a crowded attic; the beams of sunlight shining through the octagon shaped colored glass window leading him out.

He managed to push the glass lid open to poke his head out and take in much needed gulps of clean crisp air. "Well, I do believe I'm not at the monastery anymore." He muttered as he scanned the many stores and apartments assorted about. "So where is here?"

"Nor can you have hope without despair."

The muffled yet resonating masculine voice startled him out of his train of thought as he spotted the crowds of people assembling; walking in droves towards the center of it all.

"Better scout the source." He easily pulled himself onto the roof before running across the path of rooftops laid out before him; speeding along as this was a cakewalk for him given his training.

"Might even give me some answers..."

"Mokuba, do you read me!? Mokuba!"

Seto Kaiba woke up on top of a skyscraper.

His little brother was nowhere in sight.

And worse of all, his new surroundings were not matching with any of Domino City's structures that he has memorized to be one step ahead of the curve - cause how can you compare any business with that of KaibaCorp? It's laughable really.

Unknown location, the communicator sewn into his trench coat collar isn't getting through, and he could have sworn he was just in his office with Mokuba a moment ago!

"When all is lost, who do you turn to?"

The ominous voice drew his attention to the dozens of jumbotron screens throughout the bustling metropolitan area that displayed a masked man in a hooded black trench coat, announcing something or other.

"When all is said and done, who can you trust?"

"Yourself, obviously." Kaiba scoffed, glaring suspiciously at that masked fool; uneasiness stirring at his current predicament.

He made his way down through the rooftop exit door, determined to whoop some ass when his sharp as hell vision spotted a familiar set of tri-colored spiked hair. There's only one person with such perfect quaffed hair.

Either that or he was just having a very vivid dream.

"For once, it better not be the latter."

"Where are we, Pharaoh? This isn't Grandpa's Game shop." Yugi Muto; waking up in front of a store dubbed GameStop.

"I don't know, Yugi. I can sense a strange and ancient force at work here; one that outlives that of the Millennium Puzzle's shadow magic." Yami's spirit form appears beside his modern day vessel.

"The last thing I remember is hanging out with our friends in the living room. The rest of it is blank ..."

"We must determine our location first and foremost." Yami proposed.

"Who better than your icons? Your idols? Your very own heroes!"

"Starting with that." Yami pointed to the bustling crowds down the street staring at the jumbo screen with the hooded masked speaker in HD.

Yugi hurried over, grunting as he struggled getting through the clamoring curious bodies, giving pardons to those he accidentally hurt in the process.

"We welcome you all to a new age! The new norm!"

As the five assembled in what looked like a recreation of Times Square.

The people were getting too excited, releasing anticipated cries as the air buzzed with heat.

"It is time to evolve!"

In unison, all their phones - Ky's X-reader because he got no cell - were shorting out as their screens flashed with the same symbol displayed; glitching out repeatedly.

A cracked heart with shedding angel wings.

"You may call me ... Trinity." The masked man gestured to himself, slightly bowing to the audience.

As they all stared at their screens, our five main characters' eyes changed to that of black sclera with glowing blue pupils.

A towering shadow with various clawed limbs, eyes and sharpened mouths reached out.

Various inhuman whispers swarmed their minds.

Emptiness. Hollowness. Nothingness -

"This ... is CYBER!"

Looney cackling cued his sign off as the screens switched to that of the CYBER acronym in bolded all caps.

Suddenly, a loud boom crackled through the air plus the city's earthqauking shaking snapped the squad out of their suffocating trance.

Various screams and exclaims were heard as many pointed upwards.

"Omnitrix detects dimensional disturbance." The monotone version of Ben'sown voice was the watch's A.I.response.

Dozens of tiny dimensional tears overtook the sky. Strange looking creatures; insidious glowing eyes with veiny giant wings and pruny cracked skin.

Colorful lightning streaked the sky and struck the buildings and ground, sending the thousands of citizens in a panicked mob.

Whereas one of them; her gray hood still draping her noggin, stayed where she was as her brown eyes looked up in anticipation along with the other five; stiffened in dread at the unnatural sight.

To which Ben spoke aloud what was on all their minds.

"That can't be good."
