Altair was wondering if it would be a good thing, him creating his own organization in this world, after all, he is probably the strongest person in this world, besides, he feels he has a way to end this apocalypse in the future, but first, he needs to get stronger.
If he can create his own kingdom in this world, then wouldn't that be amazing, since once he leaves this world, his friends could have a comfortable place to live, besides, who wouldn't want to be the emperor of a world?
With these thoughts, they found a police station full of ammunition as well as some weapons that could be useful for the group, moreover near this police station there was a supermarket that had some people there, which made Altair hesitate a bit if they should go there, after all, he knows that people would probably like to go with his group.
But seeing the expression of the people in his group, he knew he had to go there, but not before warning the members of his group, to avoid calling other people to follow them, since that could be problematic.
There was a policewoman with this group of survivors in the supermarket, and Altair felt that he had seen this policewoman somewhere before, but ultimately chose to ignore her.
Causing her to look at him with hostile eyes, since when she asked him about how he got the humvee and the guns, he just ignored her as he continued ransacking the supermarket.
The members of Altair's group, had strange smiles on their faces when seeing this scene, but they chose not to say anything, since they also knew that bringing these people with them would only bring trouble in the long run, but they also didn't rule out the chance of rescuing this group of survivors in the future, since they intend to build a base to stay.
"Have you come to rescue us? A gentleman who appeared to be in his 70s asked in a hopeful tone, only to receive a cold answer from Altair.
No, we are also survivors like you. That was all Altair said, as he continued to pick up supplies for his group.
It may sound like he was being inhumane, but he had a more important priority, which was to keep his group alive and well, besides, looking at the survivors in the supermarket, most were elderly which would only make it harder for his group if they were taken away.
The policewoman who saw Altair's response, was a bit anxious, and pointed her gun at him as she started asking questions.
''I recommend that you put that gun down, you could get hurt.'' Altair said with a smile on his face, as he lightly tapped the True Longinus handle on his shoulder.
Droplets of sweat dripped from the policewoman's face, but in the end she didn't shoot Altair, and the reason was simple, he was a civilian, and as a policewoman, she had no right to hurt civilians.
''Don't worry, I don't intend to hurt you, besides, we won't take all the food from the supermarket, so you don't have to worry.'' Altair said in a way to reassure the people who were in the supermarket.
Even if he wanted to be cool, he still couldn't let these people starve to death. Besides, as he had seen, this supermarket has enough supplies for at least 3 years, which was amazing since it didn't seem to have been invaded by anyone.
And while he was talking to the policewoman, he saw Takashi signaling behind him.
''What's the matter, Takashi?'' Altair asked curiously.
''There are some zombies around, and I'm afraid they might attract even more zombies, so I'd like to ask if we should clean them up?'' Takashi then pointed outside the supermarket, and there Altair could see about 40 zombies surrounding the supermarket.
''Very well, Takashi you come with me, the rest of you can stay here resting and guarding the place.'' As the leader of this group Altair made decisions quickly earning the nod of the people in his group in the process.
''You'd better not go... These zombies are very strong.'' The 70-year-old gentleman who had been turned away by Altair said in a fearful manner.
This gentleman doubted that a group of students could do any damage against these zombies that were even stronger than an average adult.
But these doubts did not last long, because not only he, but the entire group of survivors in the supermarket saw Altair cutting the zombies in half like pieces of paper.
Even Takashi had managed to kill some zombies with the iron rod he wielded.
Takashi had been strict with himself for a long time. Just like Altair, he wanted to protect his friends, and so whenever he could he was training and also attacking zombies so that he could become stronger.
The survivors of the supermarket were shocked by this sight, because they had seen many people trying to fight the zombies, but in the end, the people who were fighting always got infected and killed in the end, but for these two young men, it was as if they were just hitting a piece of paper.
Some survivors were even thinking about joining Altair's group, but soon after they would give up on that idea, that's because they heard what Altair said to the 70-year-old gentleman.
''Looks like we can only wait for the rescue party...'' A woman with a three-year-old child sighed.
After clearing the zombies, Altair and Takashi entered the supermarket. All the survivors at this moment were looking at them, some with respect, and others with fear.
After getting the necessary supplies, Altair and his group soon left this place, but not before saying a few words to the survivors in the supermarket.
''In the future, I may create an organization, so if you are alive by then, I will send a group to pick you up here.'' Leaving those words, he along with his group left in search of Rei and Takashi's family.
...
''I feel that this world has hopes of being saved...'' Altair commented in a vague way, making everyone look at him, but everyone had doubts about what he was talking about.
Seeing everyone looking at him with doubt, Altair shook his head and said, ''Don't worry, I'll talk about it in the future, for now let's try to rescue your relatives.''
''So Rei, do you know where your relatives are?'' Altair asked as he leaned back comfortably in the humvee's seat.
''My father is probably in elementary school, and my mother is at home, so we better look there...''
''What about you, Takashi?''
Altair then turned to him and asked.
''My mother is also at school, so we just have to rescue Rei's mother.''
''Alright, let's not waste any time then...'' Altair then signaled for Shizuka to head towards Rei's house.
The group's hope was at its peak, besides, with Altair here, they would practically not have to worry about the zombies.
They quickly managed to approach Rei's residence, but the doubt of whether her mother was still alive kept everyone a little apprehensive.
But soon the group saw a woman arguing with some people, and Rei when she saw who the arguing woman was exclaimed.
''Mother!''
The woman who heard this cry turned around and saw that the caller was her daughter whom she had been worrying about all the days she had not seen her.
''King!'' The woman exclaimed as she ran towards the humvee.
Shizuka stopped and car and everyone got out of the humvee.
''Amazing, you're still alive Rei. Takashi you too, it seems that you are really reliable, not abandoning my Rei in a situation like this. Besides, you also brought a lot of people with you, that's good.''
The woman and Rei hugged each other as they began to talk.
''Alright, leave the talking for another time. Too many zombies are approaching this place, so we have to get out of here.''
Altair commented as he looked up at the sky that had already begun to darken, causing the group to nod in agreement with his line.
''Hmm, are you?''
Rei's mother asked a little perplexed at this student she had never seen with her daughter before.
Rei who realized this, said, ''He is a transfer student from our school, his name is Altair Lockheart, and these others are, Busujima Saeko. Hiirano Kohta, Takagi Saya and this is the school nurse, Marikawa Shizuka. And this cute little girl is Alice. All the people here are survivors.''
Rei also didn't forget to introduce his own mother to the group.
''Everyone, this is my mother, Miyamoto Kiriko.
Kiriko saw that Rei introduced Altair first, so she soon realized that he is probably the leader of this group, and also the one who helped her daughter survive during this time.
''Alright, we found Rei's mother, so let's find a place where we can rest and eat, and right after that, we'll go to the elementary school.''
Everyone in the group agreed with Altair's line, even Kiriko agreed since she knew her husband was there, and like a good wife, she was worried about his situation.
''It's okay, since it's Tadashi, he probably managed to survive and may even be helping the others at school.'' Kiriko said while at the same time comforting Rei with a hug.
''Once it's decided, let's go find a place to rest, since we don't seem to be welcome here.'' Altair commented as he pointed to the people inside the houses with guns pointed at his group.
He knew that these people were afraid of his group, but what could he do? Kill them all? He wouldn't do that, he was too busy for that, besides these people could hardly survive if they stayed here.
