Bling was heading to Logan's apartment to give the good news, he went shopping and found a chicken. He knew Logan would use it for a special dinner for Max. He stopped outside the door when he heard their breathless voices.
"Okay. Come here you."
"Are you sure this okay?"
"I'm sure, big boy. Come right here."
"Ah, Max...oh there, that's good."
"Wait, let me get settled."
"There, oh, ooohhhhaaahga God, Max!"
"Logan, easy, easy...there, just there."
"Oh, Max are you all right?'
"Oh, yeah...perfect...there! How are you?"
"Just perfect! Great."
"Oh, stop!"
"Why?"
"It's not right, turn just a little, there...that's it. Right there!"
"Are you sure?"
"Oh, yes. Trust me on this Logan. It's right!"
"Well, if you say so. What about here?"
"Yes, that's it. That's much, much better."
"See, I told you."
"Is it hard?"
"Kinda."
"Can you hold it for awhile?"
"Sure. No problem."
"Oh, that's perfect. Just there."
"Really?"
"Can you garb it?"
"Yea hold on."
Bling had stood there for several minutes listening to the blow-by-blow chatter from within the apartment. He was-- well, surprised didn't quite cover it... Not shocked--, not really. He'd seen too much been too many places in his world and others to be shocked. Stunned maybe... yea that was it. He was stunned by the intimate conversation he was overhearing. Logan and Max? Was it possible? He knew they liked each other, but he didn't know they told each other.
He made a production of entering the apartment. "Hey, kids...whatcha doing?" As Bling stepped around the curve of the computer room he saw his worst imaginings had come true...or not!
Logan was on the bottom. He had his shirt off and was standing with his feet spread wide braced against and for extra weight bearing capabilities. Max was barefoot, but since she was standing on top of Logan's shoulders it made pretty good sense. Logan had his hands firmly wrapped around her leg's calf muscle, helping her balance.
The woman on top was facing the wall, were a stack of shelves happened to be.
"There, Logan, hold on, it might be heavy."
"C'mon, Max. I can't hold on much longer."
"Oh, Logan. I'm not that heavy...just another second."
Looking over, Logan caught sight of Bling standing there, mouth-gaping open with a dumbstruck look on his face.
"Oh, hi, Bling."
"Logan. What the hell are you two doing?"
"Oh, hey." Max looked over and down at her friend from her elevated position. "We're just getting a box, which Logan -god knows how- got it on the top shelf. " She plopped the box down with a '"thump" and she started to bend down to dismount from her friend's shoulders. Bling broke out of his surprised deer-in-the-headlights stance and hurried over to help her get down safely to the ground.
Once relieved of Max's weight, Max bent over at the waist and then sat down on the floor and Logan sat down beside her. "Thanks."
"No problem." She said and smiled.
"I got you a gift, found this at the market," Bling said and held up the chicken.
"Thanks man! You can put it on the counter, and I'll cook it. You want to stay for supper?"
Bling shook his head as he set it on the counter, "Can't, but thanks for the offer. Have fun you two!" He said and left. He could Logan and Max laughing hysterically. He would never understand those two.
